"Across the street from campus, Catcher’s has baskets of all manner of crispy, fried, golden brown seafood. There’s beer-battered cod, soft shell crab, jumbo shrimp, and lobster tail — all served with fries and cole slaw or hush puppies." - Janna Karel

"Catchers Fish House is relaunching its menu of Cajun and California-inspired fried dishes on the westside. The restaurant moves into a 2,000-square-foot corner space at the Charleston Festival retail hub. It specializes in red snapper and catfish, plus a full menu including fish tacos, po-boys, popcorn shrimp, baskets of hand-breaded fish, and lollipop chicken wings, built around a secret family recipe." - Bradley Martin

"Catchers Fish House, located in the New Orleans Square section of the Commercial Center, is set to debut as a 'fish and chip foodie spot.' The restaurant will offer an expanded menu featuring 'hot Nashville' chicken, tacos, and 'shrimp on a stick.' Situated on the southern side of the center, accessible via Karen Avenue, Catchers takes over a ground-floor space in building D, previously occupied by The Bass Cafe Grill & Terrace. The venue will join an eclectic mix of art galleries, businesses, and retailers, and is currently hiring while promoting future hours of 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Built around a 'secret family recipe' imported from San Diego, many of Catchers' dishes will be hand-breaded daily and cooked to order. The menu will include appetizers like popcorn shrimp or chicken, and shrimp served on a stick. 'Gold Fish Basket' meals will come with fries, coleslaw, and a drink, with options including red snapper, catfish, and soft shell crab. Snapper and catfish can be added to the tacos, and the sandwiches will feature options like a shrimp po’boy and a spicy 'heat' Nashville chicken sandwich." - Bradley Martin

THE BEST!! Worth the drive off the strip!! Was in town for 4 days and had to come back a second time before leaving. Food was AMAZING, server was very friendly and even the cook acknowledged us. fried shrimp tacos with fried tortilla wrap is the go to!!

We tried this place from a Keith Lee review, and it did not disappoint! We tried the fried honey butter corn, fish sandwich, fish tacos, and loaded mashed potatoes. Everything was very good! The fish sandwich and corn were my favorite! The grape kool-aid was good, not over sweetened! Oh, they were jamming with the music. I only dropped one star on service because our poor waitress was the only one attending to restaurant guests and take out.

I recently came to visit and was excited about trying the food. I looked at Keith Lee video months ago and saw they added his ratings on the menu. Well I didn’t get that Keith Lee response. I ordered the fried catfish sandwich, onion rings and their signature drink. The fish was not fried hard, for $20 I got one piece of fish cut in half, I got 5 salty onion rings, and the drink just was horrible. My total came out to $30.53 and let’s not forget the Uber I used to come off the strip. The waitress had an attitude with a regular who was visiting and snatched the menu out our hands. How horrible the food was she should be happy they have a regular. How y’all add all the good ratings but forgot to add the rating he had for that Mac n cheese? Oh and that house sauce is the worse Edit: and the food was still horrible. Take it and do better.. pictures don’t lie

The customer service is hands down a great experience! I ordered the fried salmon burger, fries and fried corn. The salmon was tasty, the fries were okay the corn was good and hot, too hot to handle. They needed corn holders and weren’t provided any! The robot didn’t serve us and that’s would have made it for me! I’ll come back again for the snapper.

I am from Arizona, and have been trying to find some red snapper. When I came in to catch up and experienced my red snapper meal, I almost cried. The food had the best and taste, a great Portion. There was enough for two meals, But of course I ate every bit of it. Before I return to meal's, But of course I ate every bit of it. Before I return to Arizona I thought that this place was too good to be true. So I went back and the food was just as good as the first time. I already have plans to return to Vegas in June for Father’s Day and for sure this place will be my first stop. much kudos to the chef.

This was a new place for me but the reviews drew me in. Our server Alyssa was on point. She was attentive, had good recommendations and was consistent. The food was fresh and cooked to order. We opted for the fried crab legs and the fried corn—-DELICIOUS! I can’t wait to go back and try the fish and gumbo. The place is kid friendly and it looks like it can get busy as the evening goes on. Definitely a 10/10 for me.

The atmosphere was great! The staff were wonderful! Our food was just OK. It was a little bland on the day we visited. We probably will not go back because it wasn't for us. But...If you like deep fried & greasy, this is your spot!

Great food, great service, and great music! I really loved the fried corn and okra. They were about to close and welcomed us in.
