'Gold Fish Basket' meals will come with fries, coleslaw, and a drink, with options including red snapper, catfish, and soft shell crab. THE BEST!! Worth the drive off the strip!! Was in town for 4 days and had to come back a second time before leaving. Food was AMAZING, server was very friendly and even the cook acknowledged us. fried shrimp tacos with fried tortilla wrap is the go to!!

I recently came to visit and was excited about trying the food. I looked at Keith Lee video months ago and saw they added his ratings on the menu. Well I didn’t get that Keith Lee response. I ordered the fried catfish sandwich, onion rings and their signature drink. The fish was not fried hard, for $20 I got one piece of fish cut in half, I got 5 salty onion rings, and the drink just was horrible. My total came out to $30.53 and let’s not forget the Uber I used to come off the strip. The waitress had an attitude with a regular who was visiting and snatched the menu out our hands. How horrible the food was she should be happy they have a regular. How y’all add all the good ratings but forgot to add the rating he had for that Mac n cheese? Oh and that house sauce is the worse Edit: and the food was still horrible. Take it and do better.. pictures don’t lie

This is TOP CLASS SERVICE!!! They were okay with me choosing my table… all the tables were spectacularly clean.. once seated, they asked if the temperature was okay for me.. they just wanted me to have the best experience and it was obvious. You won’t have issues with cleanliness or service at this restaurant. The food: ordered fish (cod) and chips and lobster tacos. The fish wasn’t seasoned to my preference and I honestly didn’t care for the lobster tacos much at all. I don’t think it’s on them…. This place has a Louisiana influence, and I just funny think I’m drawn to that. All in all, best service, cleanest restaurant, just not my preference of flavors. I think you should try it out!

This was a new place for me but the reviews drew me in. Our server Alyssa was on point. She was attentive, had good recommendations and was consistent. The food was fresh and cooked to order. We opted for the fried crab legs and the fried corn—-DELICIOUS! I can’t wait to go back and try the fish and gumbo. The place is kid friendly and it looks like it can get busy as the evening goes on. Definitely a 10/10 for me.

The customer service is hands down a great experience! I ordered the fried salmon burger, fries and fried corn. The salmon was tasty, the fries were okay the corn was good and hot, too hot to handle. They needed corn holders and weren’t provided any! The robot didn’t serve us and that’s would have made it for me! I’ll come back again for the snapper.

Sweet RnB Music playing. A lil quiet and a few people but staff was quick to address seating and Key was amazing. Sweet, professional and always asked how we were doing. We ordered signature drinks which were delicious, the tea was a lil too sweet but I'm complaining only because I'm trying to lose 10 lbs in 5 days hahaha. I loved the straw in the eye haha. Fried Okra and shrimp was delicious. Whatever you are doing to the shrimp you need to do with the fish in your half and half. Fish could use more flavor. The shrimp is the goat. Fried fish tacos was presented well. Love it but could use more flavor there too. Im going back to the delicious shrimp haha. Hard to please us from the Caribbean but you're very close. Fries could be crispier but they were tasty. Overall I enjoyed the food. I came for the fried corn and completely forgot. Guess I now gotta come back for the corn 🤣

Google
We tried this place from a Keith Lee review, and it did not disappoint! We tried the fried honey butter corn, fish sandwich, fish tacos, and loaded mashed potatoes. Everything was very good! The fish sandwich and corn were my favorite! The grape kool-aid was good, not over sweetened! Oh, they were jamming with the music. I only dropped one star on service because our poor waitress was the only one attending to restaurant guests and take out.

Google
Our fried corn which was AMAZING unfortunately was still frozen in the middle. The waitress was gracious and brought another order which was EVEN BETTER!!! We ordered the shrimp po boy and although it was great the fried crab platter was extremely salty and it couldn't be finished. Our cocktails were also extremely salty. My chat group was the one who referred us to the restaurant and although our waitress was AMAZING we can't return without some changes to the salt intake on your menu...

Yelp
These 4 stars go directly to a young lady name Key who was working the register. And to the amazing music!! The ambiance is relaxed. She was so cool! I ended up getting fried scallops, lobster rolls sandwiches ( u get 2 per order), and a snapper fish basket ( I ordered one Lobster sandwich deconstructed so I can have for tomorrow and I ordered the fried Snapper plate for tomorrow LOL) The scallops had a very unusual aftertaste. I don't want to say rancid but they did not taste fresh. The lobster rolls were really small and the lobster came in small cut up pieces. The fries were really good and so are the hush puppies. The fried red snapper was good, they weren't thick pieces but they were cool. I would still definitely come back

Yelp
I had a hankering for fish and chips the other day, so my wife & I came to Catchers for lunch on a weekday. It was just after 12 noon, so they had just opened and didn't have many customers in yet. After looking at the menu, we both got the Fish Basket, hers with the beer battered cod and hush puppies, while I chose the snapper and cole slaw (both orders had French fries). She also got a Peach "Arnold Palmer" (peach tea with lemonade), though I stuck with water. After a bit of a wait (which the server warned us about, since everything is fried to order), our food arrived. Everything was piping hot (except the cole slaw, or course). The fries had a good amount of seasoning on them, and were very tasty dipped in ketchup and hot sauce (both available at the tables). The breading on the fish was very crispy, with the snapper having a great thin texture, perfect to dip in tartar sauce. My wife enjoyed the cod and hush puppies, too. Overall, we had a wonderful meal. By the time we finished up, most of the tables were taken by other customers. Catchers must be doing something right, because we'll be back again soon!

Yelp
First time at Catchers. I suggest coming on a weekday afternoon to avoid a rush. Glows: 1. The fried corn was excellent, super hot so be careful on the first bite. Also, the honey butter was good, but too much. 2. Portion size is generous 3. Great service; fast & fresh 4. Hush puppies were very yummy, but small Grows: 1. Price point is a bit high for an off-strip restaurant 2. Fries were over seasoned 3. Our catfish and shrimp were good, but way too heavy on the grease.

Yelp
Came here for Sunday lunch at noon. Was seated very quickly. Dinning area was cute, 2 large tvs with movies on, I watched poetic justice with Janet Jackson. Tried a few different things. Gumbo was probably best. A tad salty but the texture and flavors were great. Came out piping hot. The flavors of everything was spot on. However o got the fish sandwich and I guess my expectations were high because of Keith Lee's video...it was just ok. I got it extra crispy, but it wasn't. It was lightly battered - no crunch. The catfish was really gamey as if it wasn't fresh, it was also the tail end so very thin. The flavors was still very good combined with their nice buns, pickled, tomato and house sauce. O just don't think it was worth the price. Husband enjoyed his shrimp poor boy, shrimp was on the smaller side but they loaded the buns! It was nicely done and a large portion. Service was super friendly, very quick and tentative. The drive was a little way from the strip but it wasn't bad especially since there's a lot of parking. Not on my list to do again though.

Yelp
Usually, A restaurants customer service can make up for the lack of quality for the food or vice versa, in this case, the service at Catchers Fish House and food did not help each other in any way. When I walked in, I was not greeted by a server, rather greeted by a full force of heat from the lack of AC or no AC at all. It took a minute or two of awkward standing around till we were greeted or acknowledged by a "server". Her name was Bird. I have nothing good to say about Bird. When I was giving my order to Bird, she asked me which side I would want, I told her, then she said something that I couldn't hear. So I thought she was asking me for the side again, I guess I said the wrong thing and Bird pounded her fist on the table and said to me "I said Cole slaw or hush puppies." Maybe if Bird didn't have a head phone in her ear or enunciated her words or spoke louder, we could've avoided this interaction. Service = 1 star. (The heat from no AC maybe made Bird lose her senses a bit). Well we move on to the food, I spent a total of $70 here and I don't recommend you do the same. The catfish sandwich wasn't bad at all, it's just nothing that blew my mind or would crave again. The catfish plate also followed in order. It wasn't anything spectacular, it was seasoned nicely, but the fish quality didn't seemed to be the best, which correlated to the "fishy" taste. The gumbo on the other hand was definitely the star disappointment. They give you a little dollop of rice to put in the over salted mush of a gumbo. Food = 3 All in all, the place was a disappointment and over priced. I also have nothing good to say about Bird.

Yelp
My husband was craving fish and chips so we located this restaurant on Yelp and decided to try it out based on reviews. I was a little skeptical when I first got there, but then I was wowed! I had the salmon, it was delicious. Very fresh tasting; had great flavor with a little kick to it. It came with a small side of delicious coleslaw and three small hush puppies that had great flavor. I also chose the sweet potato fries and they had a homemade seasoning on them that put them over the top! My husband had the fish and chips. He said they were good. The service was excellent. We were greeted by a young lady that we realized afterwards was actually leaving, as her shift was over. But she stopped to take care of us on her way out. The person that served us, I believe is the assistant general manager. She took really good care of us. we will definitely be back and we highly recommend!

Yelp
Located in a busy strip mall across from the Charleston campus of CSN, this small sit down restaurant is not what we expected in a seafood spot. We arrived a few minutes before noon and the door was open so we walked in to be greeted by a person telling us that they didn't realize the door was unlocked and they weren't quite open yet. (They open at noon). We told them we would wait outside, but she said we could sit and it was fine. The server wasn't there most friendly after that initial encounter and we just were not feeling the vibe, so we debated leaving. We looked over the menu and settled on the 2 item combo to go: fish, shrimp and we upgraded to onion rings. The food was tasty. There was a good seasoning on the onion rings and they were the star of the meal for sure. The shrimp had a Cajun flavor, and the fish were ok. I enjoyed the hush puppies, but hubby thought they were a little bland (more for me!) Construction on Charleston during the week at Torrey Pines might deter you away, but if you go after they shut that down for the day you might have better luck getting into and out of the parking lot.

Yelp
Amazing food omg! We really looked at each other when we took our first bite with eyebrows raised in full shock and excitement. We did not expect it to taste this good but we're glad it happened. Their service is friendly and the ambiance is a southern seafood joint. The best thing was the juicy chicken strips and jumbo shrimp. I found this place as a recommendation from a TikTok user and I need to thank that person because this is seafood heaven in LV. Please expect to wait for up to 30 minutes for your order as they make everything fresh from scratch. It also says this on the menu. The wait was definitely worth it.

Yelp
Friday evening around 8:30 pm. Few tables dining. Was greeter upon entering and seated right away. Server was friendly, food was good. Restaurant appeared clean. Groupon I purchased was a good deal! I will def visit again.

Yelp
I found Catchers by happenstance (I was in a nearby Walmart parking lot and searched for seafood). Catchers popped up and when I saw it was a Black-owned business and Keith Lee had been there, I immediately programmed the GPS. I had their famous fish sandwich and believe the hype! The fish, the bun, the sauce, the hot sauce was all top tier. I love fried fish and this sandwich was the bomb. Service and Ambiance is great. . I can't wait for my next trip to Vegas because I want to try more of the menu.

Yelp
I knew this restaurant was going to be good, based on the reviews I read. However, I had no idea the food was going to make me dance in my seat. Let me start with the fried corn. WHAT THE!!!! OMG!!!! Where has this been all my life!? It was mouth-watering, honey-buttery, melt-in-your-mouth, lip-smacking, dance-in-your-seat, Delicious!! It was so good, that I couldn't help but eat my husband's half too. (Sorry, Not Sorry.) LOL!! My husband had the catfish, loaded mashed potatoes, hushpuppies, and a soda. I had the codfish, loaded mashed potatoes, hushpuppies, and of course the red Kool-Aid. Everything was melt-in-your-mouth flavorful, and delicious. The welcoming energy, and southern hospitality we felt the moment we walked in, was refreshing. Being greeted, and catered to right away made us feel like VIP's. The waitress gave us excellent service, and the amazing Chef came out to chat with us. That was a nice touch to go with our excellent lunch. We will be back soon, and often.

Yelp
My 87 mother is in town visiting from Nashville. We were looking for a Fish N Chips place as she had a hankering for fried fish. I Goggled Fish N Chips near me and found this place. Just saw it had over four stars, didn't read the reviews - we decided to go. Not expecting to find what we did. I figured it was a place a little higer-end than fast food. But it is a real deal Fish House! It took us 20 minutes from Summerlin. When we entered, the waitress with the purplish hair was taking the order of a table of four women. She was so nice. Politely directed us to the take out area. The ambiance was so "beachy" - we loved it. When she finished with the other table took our order. I was shocked that two baskets and a side of calamari was over $70. We sat and waited for our order. And waited. And waited. Almost 40 minutes later, our food arrived. The whole time, the three employees were working their butts off. My mom and I said to each other, "if the food tasted HALF as good as it smelled, we wouldn't mind waiting." AND IT WAS MORE THAN WORTH IT! We got our food. Thanked everyone and I made it back to Summerlin in less than 20 minutes. Couldn't wait to eat it. AMAZING! THE BEST FISH N CHIPS, SOFT SHELL CRAB AND JUMBO SHRIMP EVER! The seasoning on the calamari was amazing but it overpowered the calamari itself. No biggie tho! Our favorite new find! Thanks so much!

Yelp
Great service. The food was impeccable. You don't think a place in Nevada, no where near water could have such a great variety of fresh seafood. The shrimp po boy was delicious. My husband got the half and half with shrimp and catfish. He really enjoyed it. Lots of Jamaican themes drinks, which we enjoy because we love Jamaica!! Decor was cute as well.

Yelp
Dining with the locals, this place is definitely a good ways off the strip, and we took a cab that took us all over the place before getting us here-lol this restaurant is located in a shopping mall where there's a Walmart amd a couple other stores, so parking is very easy. The restaurant is small and charming. The service was really fun and fast. I ended up ordering the fish and shrimp with the loaded potato instead of french fries, everything was cooked to perfection. We also ordered the salmon, It was seasoned to perfection, and the seasoned pineapples was everything. Prices were a little pricey in my opinion for fish baskets, but they do sell alcohol and gourmet lemonade. If you are visiting Vegas, this is definitely a spot you should try out.

Yelp
As you know my wife loves sea food so this place was an easy choice for us. The menu wasn't that big but there were a lot of choices (if that makes any sense...lol) I chose the half fish and shrimp basket and my wife picked the fried lobster tale. Mine came with coleslaw which was tiny maybe a fork full lol hush puppies and fries. My wife opted for a fried lobster tale grilled shrimp and fries. The food was hot and over all seasoned well the garlic butter sauce was a little salty. My wife felt it was slightly too much seasoning but mine was perfect. Our server was nice just seemed pre occupied and didn't follow up after giving us our food we needed condiments and had to get up and ask same as with the boxes when we were done all in all it was good but had room for improvements.

Yelp
First time here and I wanted to be in love. Lin and I ordered the fried catfish sandwich, fried honey butter corn (3pc) and hushpuppies. We ate in the car so the food was still but I have to say I was not wowed. Now the catfish sandwich was good but the fried corn had no flavor. No, we didn't drown it in the butter but Lin dipped her piece after we first tasted the corn without the honey. My opinion, the corn should've been seasoned but there seemed to be no taste from the corn or batter, they should've used a sweet corn and Lin thought the same thing. The hushpuppies were a disappointment to me as well. Perhaps because I am use to a little sweetness with the cornbread but nope, nada! We were in Vegas and staying on the strip. We drove at least 20 mins to get to this spot and I honestly unfortunately can't say we would do it again. Lin felt the same way saying if she were out this way, she might stop for the fish sandwich but it seemed like we drove forever and the food was just okay. I know this is a family owned business and I pray they continue to grow but for me it was just okay and I can't say I would return. I will say, Red took our order and was both pleasant and patient. She greeted us upon entry, her and the woman she was working with. Red was pleasant and made sure we had no questions before and after ordering. I appreciated her kind disposition.

Yelp
Useful Tip: Current check in receives one deep fried Oreo "at this time". Las Vegas realtor Chris Brown reviewed Catchers last year featuring a robot server and this southern Cajun inspired fish house has been bookmarked since. The overall customer service was exceptional and very consistent. Ticket time was approximately 15-20 minutes which is decent for "made to order" food. I was vibing to great tunes from their playlist while I waited and admired the vibrant wall decor. I ordered TOGO and my fried catfish sandwich and fries were legit room temperature at best following a short walk to my car. Fries are well seasoned but I expected them to be hot and they weren't close to hot. Fried Catfish sandwich again room temperature at best. The fish had great flavor and was fried soft with a nice golden brown color that I appreciated but it definitely need to go in the microwave. Fried Corn was interestingly creative and I'm not mad at it. Two of the three piece corn were piping hot (which was amazing and totally expected for fried corn) however one of the corn was legit cold (that through me off). The batter seasoning is on point and the corn was pretty tasty but I wouldn't order it again. I'm in my feeling about Catchers at this time. Uncertain if I would return anytime soon. 3pc fried corn $9.99 Catfish Sandwich with fries $18.99

Yelp
Staff, food and ambience was fantastic. We arrived just before opening and didn't have a wait. We followed the Keith Lee approved meals. I was most impressed with the fried corn, the honey butter drizzle over the flaky corn was delicious. We ate fish tacos and fish sandwich. Very tasty and I would recommend Catchers!!!! and every single on

Yelp
I stopped in to Catchers Fish House to treat my teenage nephew to a lunch. He said he was craving fish & chips, so Catchers is what caught my eye. (Get it? Hahaha!) The first thing that I noticed when walking in was the seaside decor that adorned the entire place. It definitely had those vibes as if you were dining on one of the piers near a busy marina. This appears to be a small family owned restaurant, so it had a very homey feel from the staff working. Unfortunately, they were very short staffed on the day of our visit with only one cook and one server in the entire restaurant. But the server still had a smile on her face and a pep in her step, and her hospitality didn't skip a beat. She even had us laughing with a few jokes. The food was good. It was cooked well and had flavor. Overall, a very nice place that I'd absolutely visit again in the future. If you're in the mood for some fish, t's worth a visit!

Yelp
I read the reviews and saw someone posted it on Facebook and highly recommended the place.. I had friends in town from California on a Saturday so I suggested we eat there. It is a very small intimate place, but noticed it may be capable of handling parties of up to six people. It may have been an off day for them, but I would only give this place one star. The service was terrible. We waited at least 30 minutes before someone came over to take our order. There was another four people that came in at the same time that was very agitated that no one even took an order for drinks, the same for us. I was ready to leave after 20 minutes but my friends wanted to give this place a try so we waited. The food came out about another 30 minutes later. It was not worth the wait. My friends ordered calamari as an appetizer while we wait for the food. The appetizer came out with the dinner, They said the calamari tasted like fishsticks and looked like fishsticks. I ordered the fish in a basket red snapper. My friend order the half-and-half, chicken and fish. The other friend ordered chicken and shrimp. My friends from California both said the food had no taste as if they're cooking for diabetics. My red snapper was undercooked no seasoning and smelled fishy. I sent it back to be cook some more, but when it returned, the outside was cooked the inside was still undercooked. The fries were decent, and the hush puppy was good The servers were apologetic about how long it was taking however, it was just not worth the money or the time.

Yelp
I ordered online and received a text saying it would be ready in an hour. I drove there 30 min before to sit and wait. I noticed no one was in the store. I go in and they apparently had my food ready? Never received a text or anything saying it was finished. The food was cold, fries were soggy. The price is insane for how little comes in the fish and chips. Over $20 for small portions. I purchased this and 3 tacos (also $20 with tax) which my girlfriend also had to heat up and the outer shells were also soggy and falling apart. Total meal with a few dollars tip was $54. Disappointing, wont be returning. I'm giving 2 stars since the woman who gave us our food was kind.

Yelp
Well my Dad has craved fish and chips for a while and we were in the area where CFH is - so tada! Now with all the great pictures and awesome food (fresh and lightly battered to perfection), one would think it would be a 5 star;however, only one piece of fish comes in a basket. I had the catfish basket and my dad had catfish and snapper basket-total $55! You see the picture of my food is takeout style and comes in a paper basket (which is fine), but for those prices I was expecting at least two pieces of fish and the coleslaw that comes with it is so small, you are done in two bites. I know there is inflation but really!?!

Yelp
Nothing spectacular about the restaurant or the food. I tried the mix with Fish and Shrimp. The portions were healthy and presentation just okay. There was no special seasoning and the French fries were a little soggy. The staff was somewhat friendly, did not go out of their way to make guest feel welcomed. The quality did not match the cost, way overpriced in my opinion.

Yelp
The food could benefit from some flavoring. The coleslaw had a strong vinegar flavor and did not taste homemade. The fish were great pieces. They just were not seasoned at all.

Yelp
We arrived at opening on a Sunday. Keith's review on TikTok caught my eye and since I was in Vegas I decided to check it out. Service was quick and friendly. I selected the catfish sandwich--it was amazing! Perfect bun, pickles, tomatoes, little bit of lettuce, hot sauce with a perfectly fried catfish fillet. My friend had the catfish basket with fries and hush puppies. She said the fish was among the best fried catfish she'd tasted. Hush puppies were better than average! Fries were not cooked long enough for my taste but they were well seasoned and overall not bad. I also had a mojito--delicious. The restaurant is very bright and attractive with a nice vibe and great music playing. One of my pet peeves is eating and/or drinking out of disposable dishes and using styrofoam cups and plastic utensils--that was only non positive for me. I will return!

Yelp
Where do I even begin, everything was amazing. The flavor, phenomenal. Best gumbo and hush puppies I've had in my life. Everything is flavored to perfection. I haven't had koolaid since I was a kid and let me tell you I think I had like 5 cups of it, it was nostalgic. The server was so friendly and the service was amazing. If you're craving some Cajun seafood this is your place! I also what to add that the portions are exceptional! So much sausage and chicken in the gumbo!!

Yelp
Food was great. The cod fish and chips with 3 shrimp is what I had, my husband had the catfish. Both were excellent. We also had the deep fried corn, just wish it was on a sick for ease of eating . It took a long time to get our food but was worth the wait. Not sure if was due to short staff or what. Will definitely be going back. It's a cute little place, was a little noisy but we could hear each other's conversations so ok.

Yelp
As a southerner, I approve of their catfish it meets down home standards. Hushpuppies use proper medium cornmeal instead of the cake batter garbage. You may wait a bit, but you can't rush perfect catfish. Music is amazing, too. This is our new seafood spot now. Side note. Looks like one of the owner has white 4 door with California plates. Nevadans hate that. If you're going to escape socialism to a state with no income tax, at least chip in for the resources you use. Love the food.

Yelp
Tried for the first time and they did not win me over. They were out of many items and drink leaving to wonder if they were going out of biz. I tried a combo of catfish and shrimp with hushpuppies and mashed potatoes? Shrimp appeared to be over cooked and prob pre-battered frozen kind. The catfish was good but too greasy for me and i only ate one of 2 pieces. The best part of my experience was the service which was very good despite having to inform me of what they were out of and was much appreciated. Catcher's does a good job with ambiance considering the fact of being in a strip center.

Yelp
Such amazing customer service. They forgot to give my girlfriend the drinks for the order, even though she ordered inside the restaurant, then proceeded to not answer their telephone when called, what's the point of having a number if it doesn't even go through. Then proceeded to give unwarranted attitude when reached out to in regards to the order.

Yelp
Really a 1 star experience. Ordered Fried snapper and shrimp. Took forever for the food to arrive. The fish was soggy and the shrimp was hard and crusty. Me thinks it was sitting out too long. $30 wasted. Gained the star, because the servers were exceptionally nice.

Yelp
Overall, definitely a place I'd go back, but definitely understand the frustrations seem in some of the reviews. I came within an hour of closing and never felt more rushed in my life. I had no intentions on lagging around but I got a to go box before I bit into my first bite, the check came before I finished boxing up, it was just bad customer service. I wouldn't have been rushed if there was more than one person working. It was disappointing to hear "no rush" while all being rushed. Just close the kitchen earlier or say to go only.. I'm very particular about hush puppies, but theirs were really good! The catfish was seasoned and crispy and the shrimp was SO GOOD. I wouldn't order the fried corn again, nothing special there. Great portion size too, I'm not sure why people are complaining about that. Nothing special about the atmosphere, so gave 3 stars bc I'm neutral. Would love to try again during a time I won't be rushed In or out.

Yelp
Came here after all the hype definitely to meet my expectations maybe I set the bar to high nothing really stood out here. Service seemed to lack as they may have been understaffed that day but I can say the young lady was very nice. Food was ok catfish tacos were great fried corn was good and chicken strips and shrimp definitely missed the mark in my opinion. However overall I'd say on a scale from1-5 it would land in the middle for me.
