"The siblings who now own and run Catelli's are the third generation of restaurateurs at this much-loved Italian spot. Everything from the wine to the vegetables is locally sourced, and it's all really nicely priced. "

Ana Gasteyer on Her Favorite Foods and the Trip That Inspired ‘Wine Country’ | Eater

"An upscale Sonoma restaurant that hosted the cast's first trip birthday dinner and 'pulled out the stops' for a memorable celebration of Rachel Dratch's 50th; it represents the richer, more food-forward meals the group experienced on their real-life girls' trips (notably more food than appears in the film)." - Greg Morabito

Amazing. Every aspect of it, just amazing. From the outside this place looks very unassuming, step in and its well decorated with bar and reception area right up front. The brick exterior walls and the wood bar and flooring make for a classic rustic feel and looks right at home in North Wine Country. The other dining areas are equally classy but it's not until you go outside that you get the full picture. It opens up to a BEAUTIFUL outdoor garden with a marble & tiled bar, tiled seating area all framed by greenery. Once you sit down and take it all in with your favorite drink you are treated to a delicious Italian cuisine. I went with a large lunch party and was treated with a sausage penne in a tomato cream sauce. It wasn't too creamy and the sausage had a real nice spice to it, it was wonderfully executed. We also had a cheese lasagna which was unique compared to the lasagna's that I've had and made in the past but was still delicious. One thing that was interesting is that the party I was with has several food restrictions but that didn't stop the kitchen from bringing out Gluten Free garlic bread, Vegan and vegetarian pasta dishes for our food-sensitive friends. Lastly, and I cant state this enough, the service was EXCELLENT. Our server was patient with our large group of particular eaters, took pictures of all of us, kept the drinks rolling out and had plenty of support to keep us all fed and happy. I live 90 minutes away and I would have NO PROBLEM coming back and I will definitely recommend Catelli's to friends and family.

Our first time here was purely happenstance. The second was certainly on purpose, and it didn’t disappoint. Cameron was our server and when you go, you must ask for Cameron. He is a real pro. Everything about this place was five star. I hardly recommend it. Also it’s more than just a restaurant. It’s a banquet hall a summer garden And two other private meeting rooms, an extensive facility.

Google
After a great day of wine tasting at Chalk Hill and Ferrari-Carano, we were directed to this Italian gem of a restaurant in Geyserville. We share the Michael's Pasta and Richard's Meat Sauce Spaghetti (with meatballs). It was a perfect ending to an awesome day with great friends. The plates were delicious and classic in taste. Highly recommend and definitely returning here to try more. Nice bar choices also.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience, look no further than this hidden gem! From the moment you step through the door, the place offers the perfect atmosphere for both intimate dinners and celebrations with friends. Now, let’s talk about the food: incredible doesn’t do it justice. The highlight of the evening was the Michael's pasta dish, a masterful creation that left us speechless. Every bite was an explosion of flavors, with perfectly cooked pasta enveloping a rich, savory sauce that felt like it was made with love and the finest ingredients. It’s clear why this dish has earned its place as a favorite. The ravioli, as well, was a revelation. The delicate pockets of fresh pasta were filled with a heavenly blend of ricotta and spinach, paired with a light, buttery sauce that let the flavors shine without overwhelming them. Each raviolo was an artful work of craftsmanship. And let's not forget the appetizers! We kicked things off with the best garlic bread we’ve ever had. It was the perfect start to an already extraordinary meal. The service was impeccable, with staff that were not only friendly and knowledgeable but made sure every detail was taken care of. Whether you're a pasta aficionado or a newcomer to Italian cuisine, this restaurant will leave you craving more with every dish. Highly recommend! Also don’t skip the molten lava cake, worth the wait :)

Google
We went here for my birthday dinner a couple nights ago, and I’m so glad we chose this place! All of the food was superb, but special nods to the truffle fries, Caesar salad, lasagna, and the penne pasta with the sausage and cream sauce (Michael’s pasta?). Oh, and the tiramisu was impeccable! The server, Cameron, was so attentive and sweet! We all loved the whole experience.

Google
Wow!! Have always heard of Catelis and how great is life is and finally went. Charming patio with music and some of the best pastas we have ever had. Creamy mushroom on penne and clams with spaghetti. Garlic bread, burrata and the basil Caesar were all excellent.

Google
Service was warm and attentive. Everyone had a genuine smile. Food was perfection. I had the lasagna and surprisingly even with the 10 layers, it wasn’t heavy at all. Rich in flavor and no additional condiments needed. I also had the carpaccio as an appetizer; who would have thought fried capers and arugula would give so much flavor? I loved it! 😍 I would definitely be back if I’m in the area again. Thank you!

Yelp
When researching local eateries for a stay in Geyserville, Catelli's kept popping up. Not surprising in such a tiny town. It is one of very few options on the one lane main Main Street. I decided to watch some YouTube reviews and learned that it takes 24 hours to make the lasagna & the same care goes into the homemade raviolis. With that type of passion it has to be good. Those dishes did not disappoint. This is unlike any typical American lasagna. As noted, it is comprised of multiple, paper thin pasta layers that are deliciously delicate and tender. A must try. The ravioli's are also excellent and the fact that you can choose to split sauces was a highlight. Since we chose meat sauce for the cheese lasagna, we opted for the homemade marinara and garlic butter split. I preferred the homemade marinara while my daughter's fave was the creamy garlic butter. Very typical of our usual pasta taste preferences. The flavors were nicely balanced for the delicate raviolis. These dishes are not "chefy" or re-imagined by fusion or atypical ingredients. These are very simple Italian classics that are elevated by their attention to detail. We finished the meal with a classic tiramisu that feeds two. It was also very good. Like the food, the ambience of the interior is simple but elegant. The outdoor patio (reserved for an event) looks beautiful. The service and vibe is casual, friendly & efficient. If you are nearby, or even a few towns over, enjoying wine country I would highly recommend venturing over to give it a try and stick to their tried & true specialties.

Yelp
We wanted a kid friendly place where we can find good pasta! While reserving the table for lunch I asked for a seat in the patio and even though it was particularly hot with those big umbrellas and trees around it didn't feel that hot. The indoor seating is also equally unique. We ended up ordering beet salad and pasta with dc sauce for us and the kiddo. We liked both. Specially the portion sizes are big. Tip- they give free ice cream if the kid can finish their dish Unfortunately we had to take a to go but it was still yummy the next day. It definitely high up in our list when we visit the wine county next time.

Yelp
Craving Italian? Make your way here, yes it's out of the way, all good things are, so get here! We had a girls night out, there was live music outside; drinks all around & a starter with the beef carpaccio. Onto the mains: an order of the spaghetti special, the chicken piccata & the ravioli in meat sauce - all screaming goodness. Lastly dessert - tiramisu, which literally disappeared, I know I had a taste, well I think I had a bite. Service - our server was running, took her a bit to get to us, but once Tiffany got going, she was on point. We ended up closing out the place, we were never rushed out. We'll be back & you all need to find this place.

Yelp
The food was great and the service was as well. The basil in the caesar salad was a nice addition, and the garlic bread was very soft. It wasn't super garlicky but I liked it that way. The steak tasted very good, and the ravioli was a very large portion. The deserts were both delicious, but the lemon bar stood out.

Yelp
Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Stopped by Catelli's after a long day of wine tasting. Our wine connoisseur at Blue Rock Winery actually recommended us this place. He said told us Guy Fieri went to this restaurant. Service was great at this restaurant. Vibes were there. I wish we knew about the outdoor patio, we saw it on the way out. It looked so pretty, I wish we sat there. Truffle Fries: 5/5 Honestly hands down the best truffle fries i've ever had. The addition of chili pepper gave the fries a little kick. Definitely help elevate it! 10 Layer Lasagna: 5/5 This was really good, I would love to go back for this dish. Catelli's Homemade Meat Ravioli w/ Domenica's Sauce: 5/5 This is what Guy Fieri ordered. LOVED IT. Sauce was not to heavy which was good because the Meat Ravioli was very hearty. Catelli's Homemade Meat Ravioli w/ Mushroom's Sauce: 4/5 Mushroom sauce was really creamy, packed with mushrooms but I though the Domenica's Sauce tasted better with the raviolis. Spaghetti & Clams: 4/5 The clams where surprisingly quite fatty! Penne with Domenica's Sauce: 4/5 Flavorful but light at the same time. Garlic Bread: 4/5 Normal. Garlic and Butter was not spread evenly Tiramisu: 4/5 It was alright.

Yelp
What a fabulous place to dine. Firstly, the service is excellent, attentive but not pushy. We had a table inside and the ambiance is so cool and comforting, but outside is equally great especially on a warm day. Now the food, firstly a lovely selection of dishes and I was bummed the special sea bass for the day had sold out and so went for the cheese ravioli and their spicy red sauce. Just delicious. We had couple of burrata boards (one gluten free) and they were awesome as were the truffle fries. A couple folks had the ten layer lasagne as well. A couple desserts and espresso and the dinner was a delight. Oh, and the cocktails were so well made and balanced. Highly recommend and cannot wait to return. They do have a full gluten free menu.

Yelp
This place comes off as a Local Treasure. Everyone in here were locals. It has a hometown vibe. Clean, presentable but not Hipster. There is a bar and a separate dining room. The service was the same. Served by a local who was a bonafide adult. He knew the menu and made good suggestions. We had a drink special. Followed by Charcuterie platter **** The mains were huge. A beet salad and the homemade raviolis with mushroom sauce Yum. Desserts are also great here

Yelp
Catelli's is one of my favorite restaurants. It's been around for many years and has 5 star reviews that tells you something. We usually go every year for my birthday with my family (little kids included) and they are always very welcoming and accommodating to big parties and kids. The food never disappoints. It's consistently amazing. The drinks and wine are also amazing. The service is great. We went last night to celebrate my birthday and our server was Kevin. I just have to say he was absolutely amazing. Very attentive and prompt. He was a fun , kind , welcoming server and you are lucky if you get him as your server. We all got a variety of things , chicken piccata , Michaels pasta (absolutely phenomenal), raviolis, linguini and clams. We got garlic bread and arancini for appetizers. Every single thing was phenomenal. The kids got kids pasta off the kids menu with a scoop of ice cream for dessert. The desserts were also amazing, lemon tart, bread pudding, tiramisu (as big as your head!!!) If you haven't been to Catelli's, go asap. If you have , you know what I'm talking about!!! I always can't wait to go back. It's also the perfect spot for big parties , they have a huge beautiful outdoor area.

Yelp
They have a great bar and a nice wine list but we did not have a great visit because we were so disappointed by the food. My wife ordered the eggplant parmesan and it came out WAY undercooked. We sent it back and it came back piping hot...and still WAY undercooked. I'm Italian-American, a cook, and I can tell you: it was not well prepared or thought out. It was a baby eggplant, cut in half, so it looked cute, but it never got fully cooked. Nothing we had for dinner was all that memorable, so keep your expectations low. The hosting was also kind of edgy and could offer up a few more smiles and some warmth. Also, THE PLACE TO EAT AND DRINK AT CATELLI'S IS THE PATIO, which is beautiful and usually has some great live music.

Yelp
I've been a diner at Catelli's for 73 years, that I can remember. There have been ups and downs, mostly ups over the years. For the last year or so, it's been better than ever. Thankfully, many of Virginia's recipes are still on the menu, like the minestrone that never fails me. Today a friend and I enjoyed another wonderful lunch experience. Outstanding food! Chicken Parmesan, a clam and prawn sauté with the best garlic bread in Sonoma County. Affogato? Yes, please. As always, the room was filled with folks enjoying the holiday atmosphere. The staff, once again, was outstanding. Victory is a thoughtful and accomplished server. Today we met June. She's lively, and fun, and professional. Both are invaluable additions to the staff. Thank you!

Yelp
We were wine tasting at Ferrari - carano winery and was craving some Italian foods and boy ! This place did not disappoint. I had dinner at Serene the other day and the foods here was way more delicious ! Love their garlic bread, spaghetti and clam with white wine. So delicious. The beef carpaccio was delicious as well, a definite try. Our severe was attentive and made our lunch enjoyable. The place have a bar on one side where you can sit relax and enjoy. Catelli offer one free comp wine corkage and $20 for a second bottle which is so sweet of them.

Yelp
Nestled in the cute town of Geyserville, plenty of parking spaces. We just had the most lovely dinner the other night at Catelli's! I had the chicken piccata and my Fiance had pasta and clams. It was delicious!! The staff super attentive as well. Also the back patio is so gorgeous, we are considering having our engagement party there! I am looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
Heard many great things about this spot but unfortunately it didn't really live up to the hype. Catelli's is a family Italian known for their lasagna and other pasta dishes. We started with a few cocktails. Ordered a spicy margarita - over the top spicy and not well balanced. Beef carpaccio was just ok, not particularly flavorful. Then we split the chicken parm, lasagna with the meat sauce and ravioli with Dominicas sauce. The best of the bunch was the lasagna- pasta is very thin and was very tasty. Overall, decent spot but overhyped.

Yelp
As always, excellent food! Service is always amazing! Great bar! We had the Burrata and Prosciutto platter for an app. Was sooo good! Chicken Piccatta, Cesar Salad with chicken, Michaels pasta. Everything was fresh and delicious!!! Note: get a sitter! It's such a great place to go but no one wants to hear your screaming kids!

Yelp
My husband had been hearing about Catelli's having a "top 10 lasagna in the US", so we had to check it out. It's located in quaint Geyserville, a wine country town with a two block downtown. Reservations on Resy only had 4:30 pm and 7:15 pm on a Sunday night so we took the later and arrived around 6:30 in case they could seat us earlier. We decided to have a cocktail at the historic bar while we waited. We wanted to sit outside though they said we could have been seated inside right away. When I peeked at the outdoor patio, it was half empty! Needless to say, we were seated within 15 minutes outside on the black and white checkered patio under shady umbrellas. We started with the garlic bread ($10.50) sourdough with house-made garlic butter and cheesy parmesan. It was soft and buttery and delicious. We both ordered the famous lasagna ($28), which had 10 thin layers of hand-made pasta, organic tomato sauce, ricotta and herb cheese filling. The sauce was meaty with a different spice to it but very good. Not top 10 (that goes to Gold Mirror in SF) but tasty nonetheless. We took about half home as it was filling. Our waitress was very nice but not too attentive and we had to ask the bus boy for a second glass of wine. There were a few large parties she was attending to but bartenders just sitting around outside. They have a good wine list with most glasses about $13-15 each. I would opt for the outdoor patio again and they have music on Thursdays during the summer. We will definitely return and try some other specials.

Yelp
Amazing Italian food, had a cool as a cucumber cocktail that was so refreshing, the garlic bread was perfect as well! Highly recommend to try this for Italian cuisine for sure

Yelp
We had a an amazing time at Catelli's. This was my second time here and both times were delicious. Last time we shared the kale salad, lasagna and mushroom pasta. That kale salad is my favorite, I still think about it. the lasagna was incredible. Flavorful and somehow light with those thin noodles. Hubs enjoyed his mushroom pasta and I was almost going to get it on my second visit but had too much pasta that week so I went steak. It was so tender and rich, I had no regrets. We started with the burrata and prosciutto app, with and extra side of bread. I don't why most restaurants don't give enough bread to eat the whole dish. Man the bread was so good, people were eating it unadorned, so still not enough bread lol. Is there really ever enough bread though? Any how, my friends had desserts and they were delightful, I was just so full. Overall service was spot on, attentive and friendly. We felt well taken care of and it was a busy Saturday night so that says a lot. Oh I would be remiss if I did not mention the lovely dirty martini that kicked off dinner. Hit all the right notes. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Wow wow wow - what a delightful find in Geyserville! One of the best Italian restaurants I've visited and I should be glad I live too far to eat here every night to avoid massive weight gain. My favorite item was actually the truffle fries - they are hand cut, perfectly crispy on outside - sprinkled with herbs, drizzled with truffle oil and given a splash a lemon for freshness. The famous lasagna lived up to big expectations- you can have it vegetarian or with meat sauce, which is nice. All pastas were perfectly cooked and accompanied. I didn't love the special menu item - spring pea edamame - it's cooked/eaten exactly like edamame but to me, spring pea should stay fresh and I didn't love the use of older spring pea shells as edamame. They have a wonderful, pet friendly outdoor patio (in the back) - that is covered, shaded and provides heat lamps in the evening. It is surrounded by well groomed garden of plants and herbs. Our entire experience was very pleasant - including the restrooms, which were large individual rooms - very clean and comfortable. Even the baby changing station had emergency diapers provided. Service was attentive and friendly. I loved the restaurant provides chilled share plates for cold dishes like salads and warmed share plates for hot dishes like pastas. Superb attention to detail here. We found free street parking in front but there is also a small lot nearby. Tip - they do provide bread service on request, the basil tomato sweet butter with warm bread should not be missed.

Yelp
My wife and I went to Catelli's on a friend's recommendation. Reservations were made but wine tasting came first at Jason Keys and Seghesio wineries. While talking to the two servers, we told them that we were going to Catelli's for dinner. The compliments and food recommendations for the restaurant came fast and furious. On a recommendation we started and shared the kale salad. Not being a big fan of kale, I was skeptical of it but it was so good. The citrus fruit that was in the salad complemented it well. I'm certainly ordering this again. For dinner my wife had the halibut and I had the clams and spaghetti in a white sauce. My wife said that the crust on halibut was a pistachio crust and it was delicious with the arugula and risotto. She said it the dish was full of flavor. My spaghetti and clams were some of the best that I've had. The pasta and clams were cooked perfectly, with plenty of clams in the bowl and all with the right amount of chilli flakes for some heat. The staff was very helpful and hospitable, but I want to give a separate shout out to our server, Faith. She was welcoming and took great care of us. She made great recommendations and was very attentive. We will certainly be back on our next wine tasting trip

Yelp
We went here last week as a birthday present for my husband, and it couldn't have been a better decision to go there. However, it was a little warm, so we decided to eat inside. It was more relaxed. They had a lovely outdoor area with a black-and-white checkered tile floor, umbrellas, and heating elements, but it was hot that day. There was no need for any of that, but if you needed it, it would be there. When you first walk into the restaurant there is a huge bar and you could eat or drink there if you wanted rather than wait for a table, the rustic in the bar area, though. when you come into the restaurant dinning area it's contemporary, pretty and elegant. We went there with my son and his wife and had an absolutely beautiful meal. The meatball sliders were our appetizers. They were super delicious and a definite favorite of the whole family. My son and I got the chicken Parmesan, and to be quite honest, I have ordered chicken Parmesan 1 million times and stopped ordering it quite a few years ago because of having so many that were done so badly, but my son assured me that I would not be disappointed and he was correct. It was delicious and flavorful, and the chicken was moist. The sauce was perfect. I couldn't eat it all but happily finished it the next day. The birthday boy got chicken piccata, and he loved it. I have to say it was really good, but I'm still sticking with my chicken Parmesan. It was amazing. We also ordered that kale salad, which I've never had before. It had some sort of fruit in there, along with croutons and Parmesan. The whole family loved it. The service we received that day was absolutely perfect. So I must say there is no way I'm not coming back to this restaurant. That Chicken Parmesan will get me back here every time. By the way, it's a perfect restaurant for a romantic dinner, whether inside or outside. I love the outside patio, They have a beautiful white bar, but unfortunately, it wasn't open that day. I think it was too warm, but I must say that it is the perfect patio for a romantic dinner. They also do events during the summer with live music, and I'm pretty sure that's when they open that beautiful white bar outside. Now, that sounds like a good time to me. Cheers to you, clink clink SYOY

Yelp
This was our first visit and it was a very special experience. The service was great and the food was amazing. Burrata with prosciutto and arugula were top notch. Garlic bread was outstanding. Pasta courses so tasty.

Yelp
First time at Catelli's. My wife and I went for dinner tonight. I've been wanting to go for a while. I've heard so many people say such great things I think my expectations were a bit too high. The ambiance and service were excellent. I was a bit disappointed in the menu. It is a bit of a small limited menu. Nothing really jumped out to me. I ordered the minestrone and lasagna. The minestrone was excellent! One of the best I've had. The lasagna with meat sauce was also good but it was different. The layers of lasagna were so paper-thin there was no texture. There was nothing but cheese and it was kind of mushy. The flavor was good. I enjoyed the meat sauce but I probably wouldn't order that again.
google avatar

Yelp
The meal I had at catellis was amazing. I ordered risotto arancini as an appetizer. They were creamy inside and perfectly crispy outside. The garlic bread was so fresh it must have been baked the same day. My family and I all ordered separately, but decided to share so we could try everything. The pasta is made from scratch and was fresh and tender. The lasagna was rich and cheesy. The chicken parm was super tender and the polenta it was served over was some of the best I've ever had. We sat on the back patio. The ambiance was perfect. There was room for about 50 guests. Our server was lovely and tentative. I can't wait to go back for another meal!

Yelp
I've eaten here a few times. Small quaint place reviewed by Guy F. Very good food small town of Geyserville reasonable. If you are headed Morth of Santa Rosa you might want to stop off here. It will be quiet and staff is friendly and you'll be glad you did

Yelp
Fabulous restaurant! Food, service and atmosphere are excellent! I had the ten layer lasagna and my husband had the meatball sliders. Both were amazing! The lasagna had a meat sauce but not like a bolognese . The meatballs were made with beef, ground chicken and sausage. They were incredible. I've been to this restaurant several times and it never disappoints. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!,,

Yelp
I had a large reservation for my birthday and though the food was delicious and the restaurant was beautiful, there was a lack of service. Bread wasn't offered until asked, no salad service, not all ingredients were listed on menu items. For example the meat sauce pasta I ordered included several recipe items but did not include onions and I'm allergic to onions. We had to whisper sing happy birthday because there was kind of a weird atmosphere around singing and loud noises, which is tough because there was 9 of us!

Joe H.

Yelp
What can I say that hasn't been said..... came here for the first time for an anniversary dinner. We traveled about 1.5 hours and it was well worth it. We ended up ordering 4 entrees which were all great, the Michaels pasta, meat ravioli ,teres major steak and of course the lasagna and tiramisu for dessert. Of course we had leftovers. Servers were very attentive, the outdoor seating was very nice. The old fashions were very good and strong. All in all a great meal and time.

Joss V.

Yelp
I've been a loyal customer for years, and the food never disappoints. I've tried several dishes from the menu, and each one has been outstanding. Pray we got the lasagna, land like always it is so rich and full of flavor, and the kale salad is an absolute must try!

Yelp
The restaurant is adorable. Super cozy, friendly staff and great service! The food was a bit disappointing. We both ordered ravioli as i have read reviews that they are paper thin. Not true in our experience. They were very al dente and tough. The meat filling however was very tasty. The mushroom sauce was delicious but the butter sauce was more of an Alfredo sauce which I wasn't expecting. I would give it another try, maybe we just ate there on an off night.

Yelp

Yelp
Who would have thought in a tiny town in wine country that this incredible restaurant would be here?? A sweet surprise and can't wait to return. We had been on an extended trip for over three weeks and we were staying nearby. I opened up my Yelp app and this place popped up. I called for a reservation but was quickly told that they were totally booked. Only available sitting was bar seating. I was shocked but intrigued at the same time. We both decided we had better go check it out. We arrived close to 7:00pm and sure enough the place was packed. I looked over at the bar and noticed two free stools. The people at the bar advised us that they were open so we sat down quickly. We met Tyler our bartender who quickly gave us some history on the restaurant. The restaurant first opened in 1936 by Italian immigrants Santi and Virginia Catelli. They use local and organic farmers ingredients plus their wine list is very impressive. It is still family run today. So many delicious items on the menu and it was so hard to choose but we decided on the Catelli's Salad and Lasagna. We also enjoyed a glass of a tasty Zinfandel from a local winery. The lasagna was ten layers of delicate pasta and we selected the Domenica sauce which had organic tomato, garlic, and extra virgin olive oil plus it was spicy. Can I just say this was the best lasagna I think I have ever had. I sure wish they were closer as I would seriously dine here every week just so I could sample all the dishes. Service from Tyler was great as he was super busy pouring drinks and serving food too. The vibe in the restaurant is festive and lively. On Thursdays they offer live music. They offer beautiful patio dining as well but I will have to experience that on my next visit. Parking is on the street and with such a small town not too hard to find a space. So happy we got lucky to find you Catelli's, we will be back!

Yelp
I am a big time lasagna lover. Drove to this location a few weeks ago (March 2025) with my best friend. We live a 1 hour and 30 minutes away. We sat in the sunny courtyard. The food and service was great. The lasagna was worth the drive. Customer service was very nice also. 2nd trip (April 2025) was with my wife and a very good female friend of ours. Long drive again, but it is worth it to us. We all had the lasagna and everyone loved it. I even took a order home for my sister. Meatball sliders were to die for. Thanks to the wonderful owner we were all able to sample the mushroom ravioli and the kale salad. Both were extremely tasteful. We truly appreciated her hospitality. On our next trip I will 100% order the Kale salad and i will try the Ravioli. If you go here with a friend or spouse, order different dishes so that you can explore other meals. We all were happy with our meals and the old school customer service. The staff was wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant. There are a couple of wineries close by also. But for a meal I recommend Catelli's.

Yelp
Unbelievable how good the food is here. Some of the best Italian food I've ever had. My wife and I went here for our anniversary and we enjoyed every bite. We took the lemon tart to go and it was also amazing. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Truffle fries and prosciutto/burratta plate were the perfect starters. Loved the lasagna. My cocktail was unique and delicious. Our waiter, Cameron, was attentive and enjoyable

Yelp
Good bar, bad food! So many other good places to eat in Healdsburg! I make better Chicken Piccata.

Yelp
A local classic. Been going here for decades, and it has only gotten better over time. Amazing ravioli, lasagna, and pasta. Kale salad is a big winner, as is the burrata and prosciutto starter.

Yelp
We last went to Catelli's years ago and stopped by for dinner with two other couples. We made reservations beforehand. When we showed up we were seated outside. The outside is a large well landscaped courtyard surrounded by plants and flowers. It was a hot day but they have plenty of large umbrellas in the dining area. We ordered two salads, a bowl of minestrone soup, garlic bread and water. Not really exciting but we just came from a wine-tasting and food event and had eaten small bites before coming to Catelli's. Our friends ordered spaghetti with clams, and lasagna both the regular and spicy sauce. Our salads were large and the soup was in a medium-sized bowl. The garlic bread was your standard garlic bread and was hot and tasty. We both loved our Catelli's salad with a tomato-based homemade dressing that had a nice tang to it. My wife liked her minestrone soup and would order it again. Both friends liked their lasagna with one saying it was good but not great and the other said it was great. Mixed review. We ordered a Noble Sundae, our friends ordered a Tiramisu and a fruit crisp. The Sundae had pistachio cherry and vanilla ice cream with salted caramel, candied pecans and crispy prosciutto which caught my attention. It also came with a dollop of whipped cream. My wife and I loved the dessert and the crispy prosciutto tasted like bits of bacon. The tiramisu was a big hit as well and the fruit crisp was really good but not a standout. I would order it when we go back but it would not be on the top of my list. I keep forgetting about Catelli's because of the distance from where we live but I really like it and will be back again.

Yelp
I will tell you what, it's been almost a decade since I last reviewed and I just went this past weekend and nothing has changed other than they are still killing it!! I'm still Celiac, still love gluten but it doesn't love me. They have an entire MENU for options that include all kinds of options not just 1 noodle choice and a salad. I was feeling loved and seen while we dined on Friday night. We didn't have a reservation but we're able to walk in during close to prime time as a party of 4. Waited just a few minutes and we were seated. Two folks in my party had never been so it was a fantastic first experience for them and a repeat for those of us know remember the goodness. We ordered truffle fries for the table, kale salad to share, and we each ordered our own mains. I ordered the mushroom sauce with spaghetti noodles (gluten free) and bought into the gluten free garlic bread. I can't say enough how refreshing it is to feel like I have choices when I'm locked out of so much within Italian cuisine. Everyone was super friendly, pricing is appropriate to expectations and what they deliver. This spot is a solid Sonoma County establishment that brings history and charm to the table. Thanks for such a wonderful reminder how delicious and welcoming Catelli's is to ALL diners.

Yelp
This place!!! 5/5 all the way around. Great staff with full knowledge of food and best pairings. Cosy and light chic atmosphere. Amazing, mostly local wine selection , . . . BUT THE FOOD!!! My goodness. We have eaten here several times when in wine country. We used to mostly hit Healdsburg, but stumbled on this rural little burg and now we ALWAYS go here for lunch or dinner. The lasagna with meat sauce is the best pasta dish I've ever had, tied for first with a wild boar papparadelle I had in Radda en Chianti so many years ago. Such amazing texture of pasta, local fresh cheeses, and amazing sauce. I think I have some skills as a chef but this blows me away. We have 'stolen' the playbook for the buratta and prosciutto starter as a regular when we do the entertaining. And the Valentine special arancini with mushrooms really hit the spot. Bravo Catelli's!!

Yelp
We went to Catelli's for our anniversary dinner. We were seated at a two top table in front of the fireplace; very comfy! Our waitress was perfect. She brought us our cocktails, and gave us time to enjoy them and chat before ordering dinner. I ordered the shrimp, clam, and sausage sauté with spaghetti noodles. My husband had the chicken parmesan. Both were delicious, and more than we could finish in one sitting. We ordered the tiramisu for dessert, and it finished off our dinner beautifully. It was a special evening made more delightful by the great service, perfectly cooked meal, and lovely setting. We will be back!

Yelp
Always a great place for food, drinks and music when it is offered. We always ask for outdoor seating, it is a nice environment. The lasagna is something we always talk and want to order. The service is always great, welcoming staff, knowledgeable of the menu and perfect for a date night.

Yelp
It's been a long time since I've left a restaurant and immediately started trying to find an excuse to book my next reservation. But Chef Domenica Catelli and the entire team at Catelli's achieved this, and then some! Knowing that this was a special dinner for me and my friends visiting from out of town, the service team welcomed us with an incredible surprise of fresh prosciutto, house made burrata, arugula and toasted bread along with the sweetest welcome note. What a way to start! When you think home style Italian in America, many of us think rich sauces, heavy entrees, and large portions. While the third point couldn't be more true her(thanks to my friend Annie for the leftover pasta!) our entrees were full of flavor, made with fresh local ingredients and so nice and light that we couldn't help sharing amongst the three of us. My friends had the fresh pasta with butter and cheese (simplicity at its finest), Chef Domenica's famous lasagna (not your grandmas lasagna.. and I mean that in the best way possible!) and I had the Chicken Parmigiana served in a cast iron skillet. Gorgeous presentation, beautifully cooked crispy chicken, and a delicate topping of fresh mozzarella and a light, yet savory tomato sauce. Since we weren't completely stuffed from our meal, we opted for two desserts to share, the chocolate molten cake with rich (yes, this one was rich... and the crowd favorite!) dark chocolate and the tiramisu which was equally delicious. The meal was paired with five-star service from the entire team, from our server (I'm kicking myself for forgetting his name but he was a young gentleman and exemplified wine country hospitality to a T) to the manager who graciously came to check on us at the end of the meal. And yes, the wine did flow from the bottle of local Dry Creek Valley Pinot that we all shared. As a local Santa Rosan who should have gone to Catelli's a long time ago when I moved out here, I recommend you don't just walk, but run, to Catelli's on your next visit to Geyserville. From the intimate decor to the classic Italian fare and warm, gracious service, you'll be ready to plan your next visit as well!

Yelp
Up in Geyserville for our granddaughter's basketball game, we made reservations for lunch afterward. A rainy, cold day, it was warm and welcoming in the dining room. Not overly busy, two servers share duties in a very professional and friendly manner. We each ordered a glass of Ramazzotti red wine to accompany our meal. To eat, we shared a 1/2 Ceasar salad and garlic bread. My wife chose cheese ravioli with Domenica's tomato sauce, and I chose spaghetti with mushroom sauce. To finish, we each selected the affogato. I got mine with Noble Folk chocolate ice cream and my wife vanilla. Service and food were great. We like to dine on the spur of the moment, and most times, the restaurant is fully reserved. Catellis food and service are very consistent. I wish they changed up the menu from time to time or offered a few specials to change up the offerings a bit.

Yelp
I had high hopes for Catelli's due to the reviews but I was slightly underwhelmed by the food and menu options. The menu offers it's array of traditional Italian dishes but the menu presented didn't specify gluten free or vegetarian options and there were limited salad/health conscious entrees to choose from. (I realized when writing this review the online menu does specify gluten free/dietary restrictions however it's not on their printed menu). For dinner I went with the chicken piccata and while the dish was rich in flavor the chicken itself had an over cooked texture to it. I had a few bites and boxed the rest. After dinner I ordered the bread pudding which was simply okay. I didn't fully finish my dessert or dinner which felt like a first for me. Of everything I ordered the only thing I throughly enjoyed and finished was my glass of zin. Overall I have a hard time seeing what the hype is about in regards to the food but I can see all the hype for the restaurants ambiance and service. Despite my heavy opinion on the food, the service at Catelli's is positively worth noting. Staff was friendly and attentive and that's always appreciated.
