I wanted to adopt a cat from here and filled out an application online through the rescue. Just like another user mentioned in another review, casual conversation turned out to be snooping for info. Definitely don't tell them that you are seeking to adopt upon first visit unless you are truly a perfect cat owner. They told me that I was not allowed to adopt a cat because I had previously declawed a cat. They did not ask me how long I had had the cat.... Little did they know, this cat is my parent's cat who lives in another state. I was seven years old when we got this cat and I had no control over the decision to declaw the cat... or anything in regards to the cat's health. The cat is now 14 years old and completely happy and healthy. They also do not allow you to take you cat outside.... Even for just enrichment. Cats are wild animals and do get joy from going outside, though this does come with health concerns and the cat should be monitored closely.
Basically, if you want to go hang out with the cats, this is your place but its pretty much just a boujee petting zoo for cats. If you feel like you want to adopt a cat, go to a humane society or petsmart where they are mistreated and really need homes rather than this place that will only adopt their cats to perfect cat owners or first time owners who have yet to make a mistake. You will be judged by your actions and even the things that you never did that they never ask about. Oh, and if you apply thru the rescue, the cat cafe will get back to you, not the rescue.
All in all, go here to play with cats, not adopt them, because again... unless you are perfect, you wont be allowed to adopt a cat from here.
