The atmosphere and service was great. Our waitress gave us amazing recommendations and made fun small talk which made the experience nice. We really liked the industrial look of the restaurant. The food was pretty good. The best was the brussel sprouts. The cornbread (even a little crispy) was great, especially with the mascarpone. My wife had the halibut which she said was great and I had the quail which was decent (a little over salted and too much sauce). The desert was carrot cake which honestly could have done without. It was about the size of a half dollar and dry. Almost like it was store bought and frozen.

When you go to this restaurant, please keep in mind the portions are small, so it's a good idea to order various things. That being said, the service is excellent, great atmosphere, and some of the various dishes are quite delicious. The tuna tartare and pasta with the pork shoulder, kale, and pancetta really stood out for me. I've been here multiple times and will continue to come back.

Excellent food! We ordered Caesar salad, lumache, agnolotti, and ice cream. The salad had too much lemon and it was the weakest of what we ordered. The lumache was really good but sauce could be a tad too much. The agnolotti was the star. Everything about it was perfect. The filling and the sauce were divine. For the ice cream, we ordered a trio of blackberry, coffee, and Parmesan (yes!!). And the gelati were super good and portion was good too. The coffee was expected but still very good. The blackberry sorbetto was not too sour, which we loved. The Parmesan gelato was like vanilla but with a hint of the cheese, not overpowering, just right. We really didn’t expect the food quality to be this good. Service was very professional. The place was a bit on the loud side. We couldn’t really talk. Acoustic panels could maybe help.

Can’t believe I’m just now trying out Catherine & Mary’s for the first time! What a treat- ordered one of the best Crudos I’ve ever eaten. Next came Artichokes followed by Meatballs, also incredible. Finished with Lamb before moving to dessert. Their new lounge area is great... beautiful view and SHOUTING OUT Marrissa- she is THE BEST. Super helpful and knowledgeable! Love her ❤️❤️ can’t wait to come back soon!

Make sure to get reservations, they are busy. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. I really appreciate our server helping us get our order in before several large parties. I highly recommend the meatballs and crispy polenta. The mafalde and halibut were also great. The cocktails are probably the weakest part of the menu at present. Finally, save room for dessert.

Catherine & Mary’s delivered a fantastic experience from start to finish. The space is elegant and modern with an artistic, industrial flair. Our server, Casey, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making the evening even more enjoyable. I had the Spinach Agnolotti, tender pasta filled with beef genovese, served with a vibrant pomodoro sugo and topped with ricotta salata. It was beautifully balanced and full of flavor. My friends ordered the Casarecce (with a bold calabrian sugo, pancetta, and parmesan) and the Carbonara, which was creamy, rich, and peppery, both excellent choices. We also shared the Antipasti Board, a lovely assortment of cheeses, charcuterie, pickled vegetables, and spreads. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and artfully plated. For dessert, we tried the Tiramisu and Cannoli. The tiramisu had a light, creamy texture with a crunchy topping that added a great twist. The cannoli were crisp, filled with rich cream, and drizzled with chocolate, absolutely delicious. Overall, Catherine & Mary’s combines top-notch service, beautiful presentation, and outstanding Italian-inspired dishes. I’ll definitely be returning.

Decided to give this place a try for a special occasion after reading rave reviews. Our experience was underwhelming. We ordered three appetizers, and they were alright, not too good nor too bad. The pasta that I ordered was an absolute disaster. It was very salty. Upon letting the server know, he took the pasta in and brought it back the same exact dish, telling me it was modified. While paying $20 for a pasta I’d atleast expect it to be edible. The drink I ordered wasn’t great either. The place was extremely noisy as it was a Saturday. The service was average.Overall, not a great dining experience.

10/10! Happy I found this gem close to my hotel in downtown and will absolutely be back when I come to Memphis for business. I had the broccolini salad and the spinach agnolotti and they were to die for. Portions are perfect, nothing crazy big or hard to work on as you can see on the pictures. The place is classy and casual, has a great design and the bar seats are very comfortable. Sarah and Chayton were my bartenders and I highly suggest you follow their recommendations as they know the menu perfectly. Carrot cake is a must for dessert and/or a scoop of the parmigiano gelato too. I wasn’t a big fan of their tiramisú but can’t wait to comeback and try everything else on the menu. Love Love LOVE this spot. Hands down my favorite place to go whenever I'm in Memphis. The food is great. The staff is amazing. The vibe of the place is unique and trendy. Below is a summary of my review the first time I found it. Not going to like, I went back 3 days in a row. HA! **** I was craving pasta for dinner and was staying at the Canopy when i did a quick search for Italian and this place popped up. Glad i came. I love the aesthetic of the place, my server Annie was attentive and took her time to describe the dishes i asked about. The food was expedited quickly and it was very delicious. I'll be in town a few days for work and have already decided to come be back before i go. Maybe I'll save room for dessert. Ok so i came back a second night and so glad i did because i got to try the dessert. Man!! Kudos to the service staff ... Ily was sharp, attentive and super helpful ... and i didn't forget you Michael. Even though you were clearing out the nest table i really appreciated the fact that you took the time to assist me. I can tell you take pride in your work. Totally appreciated the service at C&M and my hats off to the chef everything i had was delicious. Perfect size and very tasty. I will definitely be telling every i know to stop by this spot if they're ever in Memphis. I wanted to take pictures of everything i ate, but i didn't want to look crazy. My husband and I did some research on what restaurants were the top rated in Memphis so we could choose a good one for our one night in town. We saw several blogs recommend Catherine & Mary's and read that they were a semi-finalist for the James Beard Foundation, so we decided this was our choice for the night. The atomosphere and decor was an urban cozy feel. Our reservation was at 8:15 but we had no issue getting sat when we arrived 20 or so minutes early. We were even greeted with "Happy Anniversary!" since I made a note on our reservation that it's our Anniversary. We waited for probably 10 minutes before our server greeted us. But once she did, she was absolutely amazing. She deserves 5 stars and the rest of this review is no fault to her. For drinks, we ordered two local beers that we were both pleased with. For an appetizer we had the polenta (recommended by our server) and I really enjoyed the lemon flavor, it wasn't overwhelming but a nice acidic flavor. For our mains I ordered the cacio e Pepe which was sadly disappointing. I've been to Rome and had the most incredible cacio e Pepe so I know my standards are probably high for this dish but unfortunately this was not even comparable. If you want cacio e pepe that's comparable to Rome, go to Pastaria (St. Louis or Nashville). My husband had the Agnolotti and while the flavor of the filling was good, the portion was comical. He had 5 small pieces. I would expect this size if we were doing a tasting or at a Michelin restaurant. He finished his dinner so quickly and then immediately found another restaurant to get more food. All in all, don't go here if you are hungry. This is more of a small bites restaurant in my opinion. It's been a really long time since we've been this disappointed in a restaurant.

Nice atmosphere/vibe. I love the building and the art. It was sorta moody, but not pretentious. Very loud, but not in an obnoxious way. Service was good. Gentleman serving us was very knowledgeable about the menu and make great recommendations. Nice Italian wine options. Good selection of dishes. We loved the fried mozzarella. (The red sauce with it was extra yum, and our server brought some pan seared bread out to dip in the left over sauce.) My agnolotti was delicious, but a rather small portion. Since I also got a salad, it was just enough. My colleagues dishes looked great too! Overall, solid choice for dinner.

Catherine and Mary's is absolutely gorgeous inside--it's a whole vibe. It's the perfect spot for a happy hour drink or a date night. We sat at the bar and tried a few cocktails, all well-made and delicious. The Pear Focaccia was a standout, offering a mix of unique flavors that worked beautifully together. The bartender was sweet and welcoming, adding to the great experience. We'll definitely be back!

Definitely on the fancier side, they have a limited menu, and not a lot of vegetarian options. It's a cozy spot nestled a few blocks from Beale with great service and fresh food. You can tell a lot of time is spent on ensuring every bite is delicious and a blending of flavors.

This was my first time at C and M! We had fantastic service all night, with our main waitress Marsia. We picked more of the classic options on the menu. They do have a rotating menu that adds seasonal changes to dishes, such as the Brussel sprouts. I would highly recommend trying multiple snacks and little plates. Each dish has unique flavors and fun twists on Italian cuisine. The creamy richness of the pastas and the melt in your mouth short rib was to die for. I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant! They played great music and had the lights dimmed for a more romantic feel. Definitely will be going back!

Just about perfect! We had a reservation on a busy Saturday night so had drinks (excellent cocktail menu) at the standing room only bar. Once seated, we could not be happier. Our server was great - funny and knowledgeable. The food, wow, I wish I could go back today. The antipasto, fried mozzarella, and caesar salad were delicious. And then the rigatoni and tagliatelle....WOW. So simple and so wonderfully tasty. Definitely recommend when in Memphis!

The ambiance is upscale, but hip. The food was incredible and our waiter, Chayton was a gem! Friendly and attentive. We'll be back!

We celebrated a birthday dinner for a party of 10 and had the BEST TIME! The service was 10/10. Food came out hot (and very fast). Our hostess even took group photos.

Saw this place on a lot of lists for the top foods in Memphis while planning a vacation, so we made a reservation. It did not disappoint! Amazing food and great atmosphere! The first thing to know (which our server advised us) is that the menu is designed to share smaller plates. I took that as a challenge to eat all four courses, and I would not recommend that, because it is SO MUCH food! We had fried mozzarella as a "snack" and it was fantastic. We then had the meatballs, and honestly that would have been a super filling meal so far, but push on we did. Next course we shared both the Carbonara and the Rigatoni. Both were so good, pasta made in house with sauces that were some of the best I've had. Then on to the entrees. By this time we wised up and only ordered one, the veal cutlet. I wish I could adequately describe how delicious it was, but by this time I was so full it hurt to keep eating, but I did not want to stop. Finally we threw in the towel and got a box. The only complaint I have is that it took a long time between when we were finished eating and when our server came back. In fairness, they may have just been giving us time to enjoy the meal but compared to the very fast and attentive service earlier in the meal, it seemed like a long wait. Not a big deal overall, because the experience was absolutely amazing.

Favorite restaurant in Memphis! The vibes are unmatched, the menu is unlike any other restaurant in town, the cocktails are perfect, and the service is always great. I have had date nights and large group dinners here - both of which were accommodated flawlessly!

My boyfriend took me here for our first valentines together. He said it is named after the two owners grandmothers. The service was amazing. The servers take really great care of you. The food was super tasty. We got oysters, gnocchi and scallops. We also tried the mozzarella bites and a salad, but I am forgetting the name. It was all really tasty. I sometimes dream about my food and the oysters will make an appearance for sure! The inside of the restaurant was comfortable and had great lighting. Sometimes places like that will be too dim, this one was just right. We were sat at a table that was half booth and half chair, but I like to have the boyfriend sitting next to me, so we turned the table sideways. Don't worry there was plenty of room for the other guests next to us. We also ordered some cocktails. He got the old fashioned and I got a mezcal, carrot and ginger cocktail. It was smokey and delightful. I said this is a juicer's dream!

We had a reservation and were seated right away with friendly team members. Our service was outstanding, the whole serving team was very attentive. The waitress made great recommendations and our party of four shared several plates including pasta carbonara, brussel sprouts and the lamb dish. Food was perfect! We plan on returning and trying more of the shareable plates. The restaurant has a great vibe!

Finally... Finally a restaurant in Memphis that I can recommend with none of the usual caveats (e.g. "great for Memphis", etc.). And it has exactly none of the issues of their other restaurants, which, to be honest, are not our favorite. You could pick this place up and drop it smack down into the middle of the trendiest restaurant row in Brooklyn, and the restaurant experience would still be well received. It's that good... Suffice to say, this is the best all-around restaurant we've experienced in Memphis. Full stop... So, without further ado, here's what we had: The casonsei pasta with country ham - amazing. Simply amazing. The tortellini pasta - equally excellent. The scallop entree - delish to the last bite. The halibut entree - resplendent, perfectly cooked, and overall perfect. And even the Italian sausage app was well done. About the only thing we didn't like was the fried spaghetti. Hey- can't win'em all. Needless to say, the restaurant is beautiful, the service perfect, and the ambiance refined. And don't sleep on their drink game either. My martinis were concocted equally well. Currently this is the best restaurant we've experienced in Memphis. And it's not even close...

Such a great surprise. The fried mozzarella was everything we wanted and I literally ate the basil salsa verde with a spoon. The stuffed artichoke was so yummy we wanted more. Lumache (named after the pasta shape) was a classic cacio e pepe. Yum!

Got the duck ragu pasta and the cornbread. The pasta was excellent, was told most noodles are made in house from scratch. The cornbread was alright- I think it was a personal preference issue. Very good mocktail as well. The server was super nice, and the place was busy for a weekday evening - good ambiance overall, dimmed lights, ample space and the music was at a good level.

First of all the service was excellent! Our server James did a great job! The vibe and ambiance of this place was cool! The food however was just okay for us. The portions for some of the food were too small! The cornbread was dry and tasted old. The ricotta was amazing. The little gem salad was good. My husband had fried mozzarella and liked it. I wasn't a fan but the sauce it came with was really good. I ordered Ridiatore "Cacio e Pepe" and my husband ordered Tagliatelle "Bolgenese". Both were good. For some reason my noodles tasted a little rubbery. I've never had noodle with that texture. We enjoyed our experience overall and would consider coming back. The portions should be a bit bigger and the bread should be amazing because it sets the tone for the meal and it wasn't.

Anazing ingredients, great flavors! Probably one of the best Italian meals ever. Top notch ingredients expertly prepared, all made in house. Ceasar and Chop salads were perfect, Rigatoni and Francobolli had incredible flavor, followed by home made Tiramisu. I wish I lived closer. Our waitress Kelsey was very helpful and had all the answers and some great suggestions.

This spot is SO BEAUTIFUL! Me and a couple colleagues stopped in for drinks the other night and ended up staying for dinner too! This restaurant is stunning. The decor is simple but elegant. And they somehow highlight the old rustic feel of the space. We ordered drinks, meatballs focaccia, Brussel sprouts, and two pastas. It was more than enough for three people. My favorite dishes were the brussel sprout salad and the cacio e Pepe. The staff is really nice and very helpful with suggestions.

Absolutely stunning ambiance. Food left more to be desired. The Focaccia was tasty- unique flavors. The agnolotti was good, but the portion is tiny! Maybe this is a ploy to get folks to order dessert! However, the tiramisu I wanted was fresh out. Overall, an ok dining experience.

Great spot very conveniently located to Beale Street. We went at ~6:00p on a Thursday with a reservation. Parked easily on the street without trouble. Although a lot of Memphis looks pretty rough, this close to Beale Street felt clean and safe. The restaurant was empty when we got there but filled up pretty quickly. The space is designed as a reclaimed industrial building; they've done a good job of making it work. The meals were served course-style - our waiter took the orders for all of our courses at once. They did a great job of spacing them out; we neither waited too long for any one course nor had more than one at our table at a time. I only had one drink with dinner, but the waiter stopped by often enough that I had the chance to order more if I'd wanted. I had the Kaiju, a cachaca-based cocktail that tasted a lot like a caipirinha without the crushed ice. I like caipirinhas, so it worked for me. All of the food was great and the order it came out in was correct. Started with the crudo, then moved on the gnocchi, and finally the pork osso buco. No notes on any of it. I'm not usually a dessert person (and was full enough that I really didn't need it), but this time I went for the Parmesan gelato. Again, very tasty. Overall a great experience, would happily eat again. The menu looks to be updated seasonally, so plenty of opportunity to go back and try something new.

What's not to love, this city knows good Italian, and the experience at C&M is special. The service is great, the food is light in the right way, but full of flavor, it's done so well at all levels. Drinks are amazing, can't wait to come back.

Catherine and Mary's is a place I will definitely be recommending to all of my friends. The food is absolutely exquisite. Their menu is well thought out. The small plates, especially the artichoke, was phenomenal! The pastas taste very authentic. I had the radiatore and loved it! The halibut was a showstopper - Cooked perfectly and paired with mushrooms and a delicious sauce. 10/10 Service is always amazing here. They are accommodating and very knowledgeable about the dishes. Located on Main Street near Beale, it's the perfect spot for any occasion. I love that it's not too formal here but a little more upscale than casual. Also, check out the drinks! They make fabulous cocktails and mocktails!

This was originally going to be a 1-2 star review but the manager of the restaurant turned our experience around. We decided to come here for our anniversary instead of Porch and Parlor this year and had a reservation at 5:15pm, a little early for dinner but it was either that or 8:30. We were excited to try out this place since we both really like their sister restaurants - Bishop and Gray Canary. Upon walking into the restaurant, I thought the hostess could've been much more friendly. But not a deal breaker. She sat us down at a small table near the window which would've been fine had the sun not been directly roasting my face. Already off to a rocky start. The waitress came by shortly after to take our drink orders and I asked her to recommend something on the fruity side. But apparently the most fruity drink they had was the Aphrodite which was out. So I went with a glass of Prosecco that she recommended but sadly ended up tasting like something I could've gotten from Trader Joe's for much less. For our dinner, we ordered the Cornbread ($10), Carramelle, Casonsei, and the Chicken Milanese entree. Even though our waitress gave us a heads up about the small portion size for the pastas, I was still somehow surprised by just how small they were, especially for the price, both pasta dishes were $18 each. Did they taste amazing though? That's a hard no. Though I have to say the Carramelle was the better one but then again, the portion size was just ridiculously small. When the server brought out the Chicken Milanese I couldn't believe was I was seeing, I could already tell how dry and overcooked it was from how thin the cut was, and the garnish was...lack of a better word...laughable. They sprinkled some sad looking lettuce and random beans on top of the chicken...the presentation was just really off putting for $32. And yes, it was indeed overcooked and dry. The waitress asked how our dinner was going and we sheepishly said it's ok and I told her the chicken was overcooked. To her credit she did ask if we wanted to order something else to which I said "no it's ok" and then she just said ok and walked away as if she could care less that our anniversary dinner was being ruined by the blazing sunlight in my face, overcooked piece of dry chicken, overpriced pastas, and the entire underwhelming experience. I was getting more and more irritable and just wanted to leave and get our second dinner elsewhere. Well this is when things started to turn around. The waitress brought over the manager after she realized I was actually more upset than I appeared and he convinced us to give them another try and recommended one of his favorites, The Pork Belly Chop. He also gave us Focaccia on the house which was delicious. The pork chop was definitely a mood changer, it was perfectly seasoned and full of flavors. Each bite was sweet and juicy, and the meat was nice and tender. The waitress also came back with a complimentary (fruity) drink which I loved, much better than the Prosecco. Props to the restaurant manager for really going above and beyond to ensure his customers leave happy. I really appreciate his effort in trying to make things right and we will probably return in the future to give them another try because of him.

It is a nice restaurant but my food took 40 minutes to appear. I believe they gave my order to somebody else (it was just pasta). All anyone offered me was an apology. I was hoping for better service than that. I should have told the bartender to cancel my order when she told me they had given my food to another customer. But I was really hungry at that point. I found the manager when I was going to leave and all she could offer was an apology. It is a shame because the ambiance is really nice in the restaurant. I do not recommend this restaurant.

First of all the service was delightful. Our server Krystal was friendly and very knowledgeable. Jenna, our bartender, makes some truly fantastical and well-balanced cocktails. Wonderful food recommendations with wine and cocktail pairings. I don't even know where to start.

Too fancy for its own good. Lots of expensive, good looking food that tastes either like nothing or quite awful. Spent a couple hundred dollars and got Chickfila on the way home. The stars are because the restaurant is beautiful and they have great staff.

This was a nice, Italian restaurant less than a 5-minute walk from my vrbo so I was excited for a close, local place. I received this suggestion from Yelp since I am a fan of local Italian restaurants. C+M has seasonal menus, which I love since the chefs are utilizing the freshest ingredients and in-season produce! I was in the city for a conference so dining along at a nicer restaurant can feel a little awkward, but the host and servers were so friendly! The server explained how their menu and ordering process works but since I was alone, I asked if I was able to order a starter and a couple of pastas since I wasn't a huge fan of proteins (entrees). He was very accommodating and said I should have plenty to eat once I placed my order. I ordered their focaccia which was delicious and it had weird little golden raisins (but they were actually tiny golden grapes) with an agro dolce vinaigrette. Followed with their rigatoni (maw maw's gravy is basically their meat sauce) and radiatore cacio e pepe. Both pastas were tender and flavorful - the meat sauce was a good, hearty bolognese and the cacio e pepe has the perfect amount of black pepper, garlic and cheese. I had plenty of leftovers so I could enjoy it for dinner the next day! Dress is business casual and up, so if you arrive in jean shorts, you may feel a little underdressed.

I visit Memphis 4 or 5 times a year and always have at least 1 dinner at Catherine and Mary. Atmosphere is nice, classy but not overbearing....but maybe leave your flip flops and cutoffs for somewhere else. Cocktails are worth looking at their spin for something different. I have never had a bad meal here....it's the kind of reliable place you can take a customer or your partner and know they will enjoy. Caesar is very good-lots of lemon flavor. Halibut was great-cooked correctly (not over cooked). Italian salad is almost as good as the Caesar. Veal was very good as well. This is a go to place and not exceptionally expensive versus the quality. Portion sizes are sensible....you will be full but not taking a doggie bag home.

Great! Shout out to Juele as well. Food was delicious and service was attentive. There's only one negative that I have but I won't take off for it. I think the charcuterie board or whatever they call it for $35 is expensive for what little you get. But that's my minor complaint.

Can't rave enough about this absolute exquisite dining experience. I visited this tucked away restaurant with a new friend and the ambiance was perfection for getting to know someone. Intimate and cozy! We started by sharing the cornbread which was exciting and delicate. The crispy cornbread comes out quartered and swerved with whipped ricotta, olive oil, and lemon zest. The fat and acid of the cheese and lemon paired so well with the crispy salty cornbread. I moved onto the little gem salad and it was delicious. The perfect amount of tangy creamy green goddess dressing with soft buttery little gem lettuce and a crunch provided by radish and breadcrumbs. As my main course I had the casarecce which was a lovely savory spicy fatty pasta dish I think I ran out of adjectives! Between courses the staff came and cleared all plates and silverware and brought clean, course appropriate, silverware. They were very attentive, and when they got a little busy and our main course was taking some time they were very apologetic and courteous. We were too full for dessert in house but I write this curled up in bed with a delightful piece of strawberry cake. The cake itself resembles an olive oil cake, dense and chewy, with a light strawberry taste that is amplified by dollops of strawberry icing and freeze dried strawberry crumbles all served with a scoop of lemon gelati. It is a tragedy that I am only traveling through town or this would easily become a staple. The restaurant is tucked into Hotel Chisca, parking was ample on the street just one block over. The last wonderful detail was the custom postcard that is delivered with the bill. A simple touch that left me tickled pink!

Catherine and Mary's has some of the best food I've had in Memphis thus far. I am not a big fan of pasta but here I am thinking about their delicious carbonara and when I may be able to go back. Do with that info what you may. The polenta, mozzarella, carbonara and cornbread were perfection. But the prize for the night definitely went to their mozzarella gelato. It's a thing of beauty. If you're having a bad day, go there and get yourself the mozzarella gelato, at minimum. The staff were amazing. They did not rush us out after were finished our meal and they checked in on us frequently. The place is gorgeous especially the open concept kitchen. It was just an absolutely perfect environment with all aspects of the experience just meshing together so well. I'm still thinking about the mozzarella gelato.

The food is just okay. If you've ever eaten authentic Italian food in any other major metropolitan city this cannot compare except for maybe by price. The real negative is how much the restaurant pushes that you get one of every category of food because the portions are small and it's supposedly how they've structured their dining experience. When I asked whether my party and I can just get one pasta each and share an appetizer our waiter seemed annoyed and said that it's not the preferred way of dining and we might not end up with enough food - weird. The portions ended up being perfectly sufficient with what we ordered and there's no way we could have had four different items on the menu each as she suggested and not felt stuffed. I overheard her with the party next to us having a similar conversation and it seemed absurd to me how vital their "ordering system" seemed to be. I will say the restaurant itself is gorgeous and the runners/hosts/bartender were kind when we encountered them but the overall experience was disappointing and the food simply average. I won't be back.

The only mistake that was made was that I didn't wear a forgiving elastic waistband to dinner... oh my goodness was this an out of this world meal!! And speaking of otherworldly... I like sweet, fruity drinks but none of the signature cocktails looked sweet enough. The bartender, Zach, made up his own creation called Zach's Saturn with Vodka. I ordered two they were so yummy! The meatballs were delicious and the slice of garlic bread they were on was AMAZING. The francobolli was rich and flavorful - literal perfection. I rarely get dessert, but everything we tasted was so good we had to try the cannoli. We weren't disappointed!! I will definitely be back and would take any guest there proudly. The ambiance is simply exquisite... old world Italy mixed with historical Memphis brick. Our waiter, Shanius, was so kind and guided us through the courses wonderfully. I can't say enough about this amazing experience!

So many choices and they were all spectacular. Tried several pastas and each were cooked perfectly with a sauce that complimented the pasta type. Can't say enough about desserts!

Was in town from Colorado to visit family and my brother took me out for my birthday. It was amazing and managed to be next-level without being pretentious.

Food was outstanding and service was on point. There were about 18 of us sitting at three different tables and they did a really good job of making sure the timing of food and drinks to all tables was consistent. Everyone in our group was impressed with the entire evening. Loved the old building as well.

Amazing restaurant and such a great experience visiting Memphis. Super accommodating and when I asked about if an item was vegan they provided an entire vegan plant based menu with tons of delicious items specially made by the chef. Everything was so amazing and the ambiance was elegant but laid back. We had our toddler and they were very accommodating. The service was top notch and drinks and wine list extensive. This is the place to go if you are looking for vegan Italian or fine dining in Memphis and was not overpriced at all.

We decided to eat here to celebrate my daughter's graduation. It didn't disappoint the Caesar salad was so good. They make everything fresh including the pasta. I got the duck pasta it was delicious. The service was above and beyond. Multiple employees checked in with us to ask how we were enjoying the food.

Service was impeccable. The food was average. I had the cornbread as an appetizer and the steak as a main course. The steak was billed as a ribeye but was looked more like a NY strip. It was cooked perfectly but was tough and full of gristle. The potatoes were ok but nothing to write home about. The wine and bourbon selection was extremely diverse. All in all, it was way over priced for an average meal

I absolutely love this spot!!! I am about to leave Memphis, and I wish I discovered it sooner. The only reason it is 4 and not 5 stars is due to the price to portion size ratio. For the price, I would expect the portion sizes to be a bit bigger (especially the pasta). However, the service is excellent, the food and drinks are stellar, and I love the atmosphere. Would highly recommend their espresso martini.

Spent a quick overnight in Memphis and found this treasure! Lily and Diamond took great care of us - Lily explained the menu and our options! Lily was well versed with menu, flavor profiles, favorite dishes, etc. She expertly detailed each choice we made - was fun to talk to - it was fabulous! We started with the focaccia - a marvel of flavors! We each ordered the caprese and the gazpacho - both were sooo good, but the gazpacho was beyond good! My husband went on to try some pasta (Carmelle sp?) and the meatballs. The Carmelle was not in my flavor profile and the meat balls were too dense and dry ...however the marinara sauce was the star! When in Memphis definitely try this great restaurant - we highly recommend!

The food portions are small but delicious. Everyone from the host to the waiter was very pleasant. Beautiful establishment.

I met a colleague and an executive candidate at Catherine & Marys the other night. We were seated in a semi private area and served by Roosevelt, who was fantastic the entire evening. We started the evening with wine and a cocktail. We ordered cold small plates first, the antipasto and brussel sprouts . . . Both were delicious . . . For our hot small plates, we ordered the infamous meatballs and the tonnarelli . . . So delicious! Roosevelt recommended that we have our cold plates first, then our hot plates . . . We loved the recommendation, it was most enjoyable! For the entree, my colleague and the executive candidate ordered the halibut and I could not resist the Osso Bucco . . . Yum Yum!! I tired a bite of the halibut and shared just a little bit of my Awesome Bucco! Ha!! Lastly we got dessert . . . Two lemon gelatos please!! I only ate a little, but those two small spoonfuls were amazing!!! Elegant evening, filled with great conversation and laughs!! Roosevelt you were amazing!! Thank you!! I highly recommend Catherine & Mary's for a great dining experience!! I would have given six stars if allowed! Bravo!!! Bravo!!
