Google
Cava is an INCREDIBLE! We came on our first day of our trip and it was so delicious, we’ve been back every single day! The food is fantastic, so fresh, flavorful, and great portions. It doesn’t leave you feeling horrible about yourself since it’s all so fresh and clean. Love their chicken the best! Huge shoutout to Cole, I think he’s the manager, he recognized us coming back in each day and was made us feel very welcome and taken care of. We seriously need one of these in Vegas—please expand!!

Eric Ogle

Google
11/10 service, beyond satisfied with my experience! It was my first time coming into Cava today, and the staff went above and beyond to provide exceptional service, explain the different ingredients, and most importantly the food was delicious. Big shoutout to Nicole who made my bowl and rang me up. She’s the best!

Debbie Oliveira

Google
I’m visiting from Canada and I have gone there everyday for lunch! Great price, conveniently located, food is amazing and friendly staff! Shout out to Nicole and Cole. I will be back when I’m back in Austin!

Miguel Bañuelos

Google
The service is great, the food is delicious, and I had the chance to talk to Ana, who helped me choose the best dish.

Google
Cava is a trendy, healthy, and casual eatery with a welcoming vibe. The staff was friendly, and the layout was well-designed. For those interested, the food is halal, which is a great plus. The meals are highly customizable with plenty of options to suit all tastes. It does get busy around lunchtime, so keep the rush in mind. Overall, a great spot for a fresh and flavorful meal!

Google
The bowl I ordered was great. I was in town for a conference and only wish I'd found CAVA sooner. I really liked their food. That said, the dining area needed attention. It wasn't busy when I was there, and the napkin dispensers were all empty, the ice dispenser was empty, and there was a big spill on the floor from a leaking drink machine. I pointed out the spill to staff. It was still there about 30 minutes later when I left.

David Kleinberg

Google
staff consistently goes above and beyond at this location. i don't typically post reviews but i wanted to recognize the exceptional service - all hours of the day, even near closing time. thank you, Liliana and Ana, for making my visits to cava so enjoyable.

Google
Went there for the first time since moving to Austin yesterday. Food was pretty good and Alyssa was awesome helping me out. Turns out she’s the manager and I have to say they chose well. 10/10 in love with her. Foods great too.

Yelp
I have been a recurring customer for almost a year now and the food has always been gr and consistent. I was amazed by Brenda's astonishing customer service. she really made my day!

Yelp
I typically give up meat for Lent and every year it seems like I find something new and this year it's Cava. While I've only eaten here once, I was quite surprised that it was so good. So, the falafel...OH EM GEE!!!! It was sssooo good! Secondly...the service. They were helpful and patient. Being that this was my first time visiting, I needed a little extra help. Also, the cashier made my day and told me I was beautiful. My half veg, half falafel bowl was very good. We went during lunch hour and it was pretty fast paced. That's always a plus when you've gotta run.

Yelp
CAVA is a good place to grab a quick, healthy meal when you're downtown. We ate there before getting on Fri a show at the Paramount. It was a Tuesday night around 6pm and there was no line. Our party of 3 ordered a Greek salad and two build-your-own bowls with assorted greens, meats and toppings. The menu seemed to be emphasizing harissa when we went in, with options for harissa dips harissa chicken and harissa dressing. These were all good. I really liked the skhug dressing (roughly pronounced scoog in English), a moderately spicy sauce made with serranos, garlic, cilantro, parsley, and othwspices. Potions were large, service was friendly and prices were reasonable so all good at this CAVA .

Yelp
I didn't know about this chain, since I've never seen one in Florida. I saw it on yelp and thought "fast casual Mediterranean? Sounds good" and so we went to check it out. The concept is like a chipotle but with different med inspired ingredients. You order at the counter and they add stuff to a bowl or pita. I liked it for exactly what it was. Fresh. Filling. Lots of options. And reasonably priced.

Yelp
Was in downtown Austin for the SXSW festival and needed to grab something quick between movie screenings. I was intrigued by CAVA because it looked like it offered tons of healthy options. There are good and bad things about my first-ever visit, and as a whole, I will absolutely return again. THE GOOD: * The ability to customize your bowl. They have salads, all types of rice, grains, beans, and more. I opted for a bowl with half brown rice and half lentils (both were excellent), and added lots of veggies to the top. *This is a terrific choice for vegetarians, as there are dozens of meat-free options! *The portion sizes are very large, I ended up taking half of my bowl back to the hotel to enjoy the next day. *Free refills on the sodas / iced tea from a self-service drink fountain. *Fair prices, especially considering the high quality, healthy ingredients and portion sizes. THE BAD: *Staff: Cava would be a solid 5 star rating except for how rushed the staff is -- this is a create-your-own bowl place, but they are in such a hurry that they don't listen and then get your order wrong. I had to get my bowl redone TWICE because of the lack of attention from the staff. They had to throw out and waste all that food because of their refusal to slow down and listen, which resulted in my bowl being made wrong -- twice. *Cleanliness: the dining room was disgusting. Really, really filthy. The tables were sticky, trash on the floor, just nasty. Makes me wonder how bad the kitchen could be. *Pita: they offer a side of pita included with your entree, but mine was hard and seemed reheated or microwaved. Pita should be fluffy, and mine was not. It tasted good and would've been awesome had it been fresh and soft. Overall I was quite impressed with CAVA. This quick service chain delivers a solid and tasty meal. I will absolutely return, but I may try to go when they aren't so busy. I think the amount of ingredients and the stressed out staff just causes a ton of service problems and creates massively long lines.

Yelp
Food is unreal. Went there for my first time a couple weeks ago and again today and I can confirm it's good every time. Also shout out to Melody for being such a cool cashier.

Yelp
Amazing food. Healthy . I recommend not ordering online for pickup at this location. Just got mine 30 mins after pickup time. Just wait in line at this location.
google avatar

Valerie Deanna C.

Yelp
If Chipotle had a Greek/Mediterranean cousin, it would be CAVA. Build your own/create your own. You can mix your salad, dip, rice and meat selections if you find it hard to choose just one option. Everything is fresh. It's a bit pricier than Chipotle but the quality is very, very good...and they have "good ice" here for your drinks. That soft, chewable nugget ice. It's different from Hummus Republic in that Hummus Republic offers Grilled Portobello Mushroom Shawarma as a protein option while CAVA doesn't offer it. But they are basically the same. Enjoy.
google avatar

Christopher T.

Yelp
The food is fine but not what I was hoping for based on my experience with their packaged dips and hummus available in the grocery store. The falafel had a nice blend of flavors and even had some chunks of whole chickpea with was nice. But they were very mushy. And they forgot to add the side of pita that I ordered. I'm fairly convinced that the fiery broccoli was also forgotten and the roasted eggplant dip had no flavor whatsoever (a sad excuse for baba ganoush if you ask me.) The sauces (CrazyFeta, Hot Harissa Vinaigrette, Garlic Dressing, Skhug, and Traditional Hummus,) were great but the SuperGreens mix was kinda boring and the bowl wasn't particularly full. I had some high expectations but ultimately, there are much better falafel spots in this city. [See Shawarma Point!] (PS -- I did love their house-made Cucumber Mint Lime beverage)

Yelp
I've you've been to CAVA this is another CAVA. It's not overly great, but is a good way to mixup eating out with some different foods.
google avatar

Amelia B.

Yelp
Hot lunch spot! Great team and service that's super speedy during peak lunch times. Created my own salad and it was so good. I loved the harissa dressing and the seasonal changes on the menu.
google avatar

Johanna J.

Yelp
The food is consistent, good portions, and prices are reasonable considering its location. However, the lunch rush as mentioned in previous reviews, is insane! On many occasions the line reaches the entrance/exit which makes it tough to move around in a tight space. On the flipside, you can use their app to order your meal for pickup but do it before the lunch rush so you're not waiting forever. I noticed that even the pickup section gets super busy during peak time. Overall good food but more can be done to move the line quickly.

Yelp
This place is a fast affordable and quick way to get healthy fresh and delicious lunch. Service fast and effective. Very nice ambience with lots of modern touches

Yelp
This CAVA is like an ex that you can't stop going back to. It's delicious. It's tasty. The food-per-price ratio isn't half bad. But (and this is a big but) their lunch rush is consistently one of the worst dining experiences of my life. I have no clue how every single time it's lunch hour the entire restaurant falls apart, but CAVA manages to make it happen. After waiting in line for over 30 minutes two weeks in a row I figured I'd put in a to-go order, which I did. I arrived 30 minutes later to find out that it wasn't ready. All right, no matter. I can just wait in line and keep my eye on to-go. The logic was that if it wasn't ready by the time I got to the front of the line I could just ask them to make it there. So 10 minutes goes by, then 20, then 30, and then I finally get the front of the line. Everything is chaos. The employees are panicking, the patrons are suffering, the fried rice is out, the chicken is out, the jalapeños are out, the... okay, you get the point. Anyways, I opt to just not bother them and order my (now quite limited) pita bowl and pick up the to-go order at the end of my meal. My meal ends and lo-and-behold, the to-go order is still not ready. Splendid. I ask the to-go woman where it is and she informs me it'll be another 15 minutes minimum, a staggering number considering I quite literally put it in the system an hour and a half ago. I had to run so I put in a refund request and dipped. Point being, this CAVA should be a little ashamed of itself. In what world can you KNOW as a given fact that a lunch rush is going to happen and be wholly unprepared for it every. single. day. I feel like there are so many solutions to solve this problem, but instead the GM just enjoys sitting back and gawking at the chaos that unfolds anew each and every weekday.

Yelp
Really nice place in downtown Austin on sixth Street and Congress healthy food for a reasonable price. They have large windows you can sit by and look at the interesting scenes outside while you eat
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious and very fresh. One of the better locations I. The Austin area. Tzatziki is the best. Very clean and friendly service!
google avatar

Schelly Y.

Yelp
Decent chipotle style salad place. I liked The variety of fresh ingredients and it was a decent sized salad bowl.

Dontre J.

Yelp
Lilly showed my hospitality like never before from a fast food establishment. I seen her multitasking and still not letting up on attentiveness. Thank you all for employing a wonderful, progressive person like her.

Yelp
Best service supper sweet cashiers love this location def would 100% pick this one over the the other locations

Yelp
the food was good and had me considering the state of the industry itself, with the whole beef we have against ch*potle nowadays.... the dine in experience was great, my server/constructor/guru cinco put my order together with pure flamboyant passion... i highly... recommend.... cincooo.... cinco......cincoooo...
google avatar

Natalie K.

Yelp
I was so hungry and looking for a healthy meal and this hit the spot! I got the chicken and rite rice bowl. We also got pita chips and hummus. Don't skip on getting their different drinks! We had amazing service and this location was very clean.
google avatar

LaDonna W.

Yelp
Fabulous.... So much to choose from and I am just getting started. Thank you for a great first time experience
google avatar

Lauren A.

Yelp
The positives: it's healthy, quick food on Congress, walking distance from the capitol, where there aren't a lot of lunch options. There are a lot of vegetarian options, too. The negatives: it's expensive, with bowls and pitas starting at $11-$15. Add-ons will cost you more. The pitas taste doughy, and not like a regular pita. This store is also frequently out of ingredients and supplies. I know it's after SXSW, but today they were totally out of napkins and the drink fridge was broken, so the drinks were lukewarm. My pita was sort of wrapped in paper, but fell apart when I opened it and I couldn't clean it up because they were out of napkins. Just really frustrating.
google avatar

Aaron G.

Yelp
Delicious. Fresh. Fast. It's a unique flavor in fast food. Try it! There is one thing I would improve, and it's the menu hanging from the ceiling. Several in our party had difficulty reading it.
google avatar

Gio C.

Yelp
Great place!! The food is fresh and they moved my order pretty fast. Try their lamb meatballs! So delicious

Kelly F.

Yelp
Clean and fast CAVA location. Have been going here for lunch for a couple weeks at the suggestion of my coworker and it's now the highlight of my day! Ask for Nelson to make your bowl!! Haha. Earned a loyal customer!
google avatar

Peter H.

Yelp
This place really struggles. Food quality is inconsistent, lines are crazy long. Always out of stuff. Customers don't seem happy. Once a few more options open up in this area this place will need to step up its game. I hope it can, I like the concept.
google avatar

Tatyana V.

Yelp
I love writing positive reviews and I just must write one for CAVA that is located at 515 Congress. Every bawl I have ever created was amazing, fermented pickles really make a difference. The manager is very kind and responsive and the whole stuff is engaged and wonderful. I recommend.
google avatar

Elvira O.

Yelp
Stopped by Cava for lunch. The line was extremely long so be patient or order ahead of time. I ordered the white sweet potato and lentil bowl and it was delicious! I've never seen black lentils before but they looked like giant caviar and tasted amazing. I was not aware of this chain restaurant prior to dining here but I'm excited that there are a few locations in my home town of San Diego.
google avatar

Whitnee D.

Yelp
This location is awesome! Customer service is great, store is clean and I LOVE their house made juices. Today I mixed the cucumber mint lime with a little bit of the strawberry citrus - DELIGHTFUL!

Wayne P.

Yelp
Great flavors poured into a bowl. It's far-from-fancy, but the food is delicious. From a foundation of grains or greens, you add a choice of proteins and sauces. I had a combination of grains, lamb meatballs and falafel. What's great, besides the food, is the team. They don't take tips, so it's amazing that they rely on each other, stepping up with a smile. This is a tribute to the management. If I lived in town, I'd be back. As a visitor, I'm glad to have had this experience.
google avatar

Katelyn W.

Yelp
If you want fresh and lite this is where you want to grab lunch/dinner. I have never been disappointed when I go here. The food is delicious and you can walk away with a clean conscience. The cuisine is served almost chipotle style but with Mediterranean selections. Super yummy and not too pricey.
google avatar

Russ C.

Yelp
Healthy meal in Downtown. Nice refreshing lunch on the corner of 5th and Congress. Unique menu with lots of choices for the spread. (Tasted Better cuz just before the meal.) Pretty straightforward menu, just so many choices seems confusing. I start with Supergreens that had 5 varieties of salads, slapped in some brown rice with slice of Pita bread, scoops of hummus, eggplant with protein. Great place to check out!
google avatar

Connie H.

Yelp
Southern hospitality + BOMB Mediterranean food + super reasonable prices for a hefty portion of healthy food... CAVA was seriously what we needed after a long day! First off - the Cava team that helped us was so nice! This was our first time at a CAVA and they were really patient with us explaining all the sauces and options and made excellent recommendations - so shout out to T, Andrea, and Erick! You three were great and definitely make me want to come back and just say hi! If I lived here I would seriously go everyday! Secondly - the food was so freaking good. We got the grains + green bowl and a pita wrap and both were massive and super filling. The honey chicken was so flavorful (a bit spicy) and the sauces and marinated veggies were on point. Seriously every bite was so good! For $11ish dollars each, you seriously can't beat the flavor, quality and quantity. T's recommendation of mixing the Skuhg Sauce and the Garlic Sauce was on point and you should definitely do that combo when you go!
google avatar

Frankie P.

Yelp
Quick and easy bowls with plenty of healthy options. The set up is line order style similar to what chipotle restaurants made popular. You order salad, proteins and starches plus whatever sauces you like. Decent spot.
google avatar

Lauren W.

Yelp
Dropped into Cava hoping for something light, healthy, and delicious. What we ordered was certainly delicious-- a spicy sauce on top of crunchy and fresh veggies mixed with basmati rice and served with pita. It really hit the spot, however I wouldn't consider this to be very light. I shared this with my boyfriend as we were both not starving and it was perfect. We also got the blueberry lemonade and it was so refreshing and tasty. The store had lots of nice seating and is in a great location in downtown Austin. The workers were also very friendly and made us feel welcome. Overall I would come back, just knowing it won't be the lightest salad option!
google avatar

Marii R.

Yelp
T, Eric and Jason!! Those trio are AMAZING! They gave the best customer service I've had in a LONG time! And this is definitely what I'm going to miss about Austin considering we are moving to El Paso this weekend coming up! definitely left Austin with a great experience from CAVA. We will miss you guys! Keep up the great work T,Eric and Jason!

Shivani P.

Yelp
They are great and quick! 10/10 service. Dom was helpful and I was in and out super quick!

Yelp
I had the pleasure of being served by Lilian this evening and it was the most pleasant experience I've ever had at a fast casual restaurant. She was so polite, calming, and kind in every possible way. She provided fast and efficient service like I've never received before. She so effortlessly made me feel heardand validated with her responses and gentle demeanor and went above and beyond by taking the extra second to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It felt straight out of a training video for how customer service should always be. Major props to her and the team for being able to do that!

L S.

Yelp
Cinco was my server and gave me the biggest chunk of meatball hidden under my chicken and he even started small talk abt his fantasy with human skulls! He is reserving me a skull to make my bowl in the skull when i come next week! My bowl was more juicy than it has ever been Cinco needs a good tip or raise! #punk #skull #snakeskelaton

Yelp
I order from here every Wednesday night , and it never ever ever ever once been right . I just placed an order , they didn't add my sweet potatoes , which they never ever have put in my salad . They didn't include my sauce and this is the only thing I have eaten today . They never include my free pita , sauce, or half of the stuff I put in there . I pay $12 for a salad with no sauces or bread or half the stuff I include in it .

Yelp
Chipotle for Mediterranean food. I was actually surprised by the calories in every recommended bowl. About 650-770 cal. Built my own bowl-by 9 pm they do run out of a few options. Base of greens and grains, roasted vegetables, red pepper hummus, tzatziki, fire roasted corn, tomato cucumber, yogurt dill dressing.
google avatar

Sloaneriffic H.

Yelp
My office (3 ppl) ordered Cava online for pick up, on a Monday, for lunch. The wait was 45 minutes even though we placed the order 20min ahead of time. The food was tasty. I ordered a salad that had hummus, Tzaziki and a dressing. None of the wet items were 'on the side', so I had to eat it immediately or the food would be soggy later. I had planned to eat my order mid-afternoon, so I was pretty disappointed. Also, the portion was a bit 1/3rd smaller than expected, but still okay. Apparently, they run out of ingredients quickly, so order before 11:30am. :/ My co-workers ordered a wrap and a bowl. They were both pleased with the taste. I read that they use organic ingredients when possible. They do use sustainable packaging, so I'll bump my rating from 3 start to 4 for effort. My rating is based on food taste, convenience/wait time & thought to care in packaging.
google avatar

Dawson Z.

Yelp
The food was very tasty! I had the greek chicken pita wrap and it was delicious. David at the register made all of the difference while getting us our food. He helped alleviate the chaotic energy of downtown and was very warm!

Yelp
10-28-21 Quality/Quantity - Good simple fresh menu. Ordered the Salad Bowl, Half Chicken, Half White Sweet Potato Quality = 5 stars Quantity would have been 5 stars if my daughter was a little more aggressive with asking for stuff. I see the oven in the back, but I also see employees take the pita bread out of a plastic bag, so do I assume that it is not made fresh in house? Atmosphere - Assembly line business model, similar to Chipotle and Panda Express. I also like the alphabetized pick up system. Service - Friendly, good, but not as fast as Chipotle's team yet... Not sure if that was one of your goals, but there was a line the entire time we were there. I have seen Chipotle turn each customer from the start of the assembly line to end in 30 seconds consistently. They trained customers to NOT be afraid of the lines because they are so quick. Price - $10.79, no complaints. Owner Suggestion - Congrats on NOT franchising. You guys are on track to be as successful, if not more, than Chipotle, Panda Express, In N Out Burger, Etc. Keep up the good work. By the way, your manager (Kaylord) was one of the best managers I have ever witnessed. He is a very hard worker, and gives credit to his team. It is obvious that he is also a very good manager, as his team does most of the work and he does the "extra," in this case, cleaning. Please take care of the people that take care of you!

Angel G.

Yelp
The food is great, but the place sucks for delivery. They never include drinks and constantly miss toppings on orders.
google avatar

Simon P.

Yelp
Food is good. However portion is pretty small. My meatballs were kinda burnt so I had to eat around it but overall good flavor.
google avatar

Jane R.

Yelp
LOVE THIS PLACE, they have such healthy and delicious options. I have been to the domain and downtown location and they never fail me. They give lots of food. I always make my own bowl and seem to never go wrong! This place is affordable for what you get, it is also always clean and I love the big windows!
google avatar

Darcie M.

Yelp
I couldn't agree more with the review beneath, which says that T is the best!! I'm new to Cava, and he walked me through every step and gave the best recommendations. My bowl came out DELICIOUS, the restaurant is clean, and their juices are incredible. Do not hesitate to stop by Cava for a great meal and say hello to T! You won't regret it
google avatar

Yelp
I love Mediterranean food, so I figured I would give this place a shot. The food is delicious and honestly you can't go wrong with any of the combinations. I love how flavorful everything is, and it definitely makes me wish we had this in the Michigan! The line was extremely long. It was wrapped around the restaurant to the entry door. This is something to consider if you're wanting to be in and out of here. Overall, I had a very good meal and would happily come again to try other combinations!
