This was the most filled and best cava bowl I’ve ever received for delivery. This is my first time getting from the Brooklyn location and I will continue to only order from here, the Manhattan location never fill it properly! Thank you to whoever made my bowl!

I'm going to be honest, you have to try this place at least once. Don't know about every other Cava, but this one is well done, and ran really well... Gabby and the other individuals were cool and welcoming. They were hygienic, and gave recommendations when asked... The food was nice and fresh, and it's overall healthy ingredients. I'm genuinely satisfied with my visit, and will come again in the future.

I love CAVA so much. I'm at the Brooklyn location right now and Gabby just made me the most amazing Super Greens salad. She was kind, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a wonderful experience. Everytime I come in, I have a great experience. The food is always tasty, fresh, and oh so good. I can't rave enough about how much I love Gabby and of course CAVA. Thank you, Gabby!

Currently 157pm. I came to the location at around 115pm they told me they would be open by 130pm. I’m now here they are saying 2pm. They should have put up a sign or something and then the employees are putting up their fingers to customers signaling the time! How rude!!! This is disgusting its 2 now and there are still not open

Amazing service from Gabby and Angel during my visit on November 5, 2024. I opted to wait for steak that was being freshly prepared. Gabby kept the line moving and checked in on me to make sure I was good and gave me updates while I waited. The bowl I received was delicious and well worth the wait.

how does this place stay open? there’s always so many people working and no matter if there’s a long line or no line, it takes so long to get a bowl. there’s zero communication happening- you never know why you’re waiting so long or how much longer it’ll be. obviously the bowls are delicious but the service are this location is non existent.

The food is great however don’t expect your online order to be ready for pick-up within 15-30 minutes. We’re talking 40 minutes+ and this is my second time ordering for pick up with a long wait. Granted, this location is near schools and the courthouse so it’s usually packed. However it’s still frustrating being on a lunch break hoping you can pick up your food within a reasonable timeframe.

Since 2019, this location has been my introduction to CAVA, and it has remained my go-to spot for quick-service Mediterranean-style dishes. The experience here is consistently efficient, with shorter and faster-moving lines compared to Chipotle--a welcome relief, as scooping pre-cooked rice and vegetables should never be a drawn-out task. The Adam Street location downtown is small and intimate, but it makes the most of its limited space with a streamlined ordering system and a convenient grab-and-go setup. When the weather is nice, enjoying a fresh CAVA bowl is always a great option.

I've only been to kava a handful of times but it seems as if it is the Chipotle of Mediterranean food. Some locations are great and others are not so much. Today's visit was the latter. I think they might have been a little understaffed and struggling. There were 10 people in line and it took almost an hour for them to get through. It was insane. I felt sorry for the workers because they looked really stressed. They were out of a lot of things as well, and it looked like they were trying to keep up with demand. And this was later in the evening. Thankfully everyone on line was understanding. For some reason they were parts of my bowl. That were super salty to the point where I was grimacing. What it was exactly? I think maybe the feta, along with the cucumber tomato mix. But it was absolutely awful. The rest of the bowl was OK. I ended up leaving half of it and tossing it away. Because I just didn't want to run across anymore of those salty bites throughout my bowl. The only reason this made it up to 3 stars was the drink. It was delicious. I mix the pineapple, mint lemonade and the blueberry lavender lemonade, fantastic mix. As for the rest of this experience no thanks.

Stopped in for lunch and ordered a 'crunchy falafel pita'. What I received was soft pre made lumps and a pita that was completely soaked with sauce inside and out. First and last time at a cava.

This was my first time trying cava and it was so overwhelming. I was so confused by the menu and it was so busy that I couldn't even see the options because they were asking me before I got to that section of the counter. The staff was nice though and I ordered really quickly. I got rice and arugula base with corn, pickled onions, tomatoes and cucumbers, chicken, and slaw with garlic dressing and hummus. I had a very full bowl and it was so good!

Depending on who is working, service is a hit or a miss. The food is usually fresh and sometimes the portions are small. It's delicious. I usually get the chicken and saffron rice bowl and toppings are unlimited. The lunch crowd is out the door sometimes. There are seatings. Bowls are around $12. Chicken is very juicy.

This particular cava location is not good. Ingredients are always out and the lines get so long which has to be stressful for the workers. In the summer, there is no ac for them which is so messed up. Should open another cava in the area, Downtown Brooklyn is a major area for government offices and nascent gentrification. The neighborhood could probably support two locations.

First time dining here durinf lunch and I tried the Hass avocado chicken bowl. Service was quick, they prepared my bowl as I watch. Portion size is bigger than expected, enough for two meals if you don't have a big appetite. The bowl is tasty with a good mix of rice, veggies, and protein. The chicken is a bit spicier than I prefer but overall a good meal to have.

I was in a rush and saw this place and it looked like it was practical so I went in and got this and I'm from the Middle East so for "fast food" kinda it was pretty good! All ingredients were fresh + portions are big and service is quick. The atmosphere is like any fast food place you would go into.

Waited in line for 10 mins just to be told they are not taking any in person orders only online pickups?!? Wasn't given an option to wait or any alternatives just greeted with attitude. Ate at Cava in Florida really liked it, tried this location for the first time and this happens ! Textbook definition of how to loose a customer !

If you're looking to replenish your energy after a good workout, then this is the place. My boyfriend put me on one day after working out at the planet fitness nearby. You're able to order from the menu or create your own bowl; I've always opted to create my own bowl. The best thing is no matter what I order, the flavors seem to complement each other well. They make healthy eating easy. FYI: seating is available for those that like to dine in. They also have an accesible ramp.

Stopped in for a quick bite while here on business and was appalled to unwrap and find a very messy pita. With little to no meat. Was very disappointed

Friendly staff and good service but definitely expect long waits during lunch time rush hours. If you're trying to avoid the rush, consider ordering ahead through the app for pickup and get a free side pita with your meal. The space is kept clean and they have a small eating area for you to dine-in. The food quality has been great so far with a decent portion, and great variety. Definitely recommend the roasted white sweet potato, so good!!

I've been here numerous times and every time my order was made exactly as I wanted and the food was always tasty and fresh. I see how people complain about the customer service but honestly I never had any issues with the employees, everyone was nice and pleasant. I really like how's there so many options here. For starters you can go with greens or grains. You can also do both half greens and half grains which is great. As for the meats selection there's plenty of options here. My favorite are the spicy lamb meatballs, they are absolutely amazing and taste great. Make sure you don't forget to get any of the spreads since you can get up to 3 of them. Also there's over 10 different toppings to choose from and you can get as many or all if you want to. This place might get busy during lunch since its in the middle of downtown Brooklyn but lines move quickly. There's also plenty of seating inside.

I had a very long day and as I walked into the establishment I was greeted with so much warmth. Shania truly turned my frown upside down with her kind soul. Her amazing customer service has earned Cava a forever customer.

Went to Cava downtown Brooklyn today. Last week I was in and they didn't have the mint cucumber drink I like so today after seeing it available I added to my order. I went to the fountain, filled my cup up and then discovered there were no straws out. I went to the register and informed the cashier, she yelled across the store and asked someone no one replied, she was in the process of ringing someone up so I figured I'd wait til she was done and assumed her next step would be to get the straw. She finished and went to start doing something with the arugula. I waited about 3 minutes then asked the next closest person about the straw, she yelled across the room "Irene we got any straws?" Irene then replied "no and they gon be mad but life goes on it's just a straw" all while the girl giggled and said "maybe she can try next door" (next door is Panera) not once did anyone turn to me and apologize for the inconvenience or simply say "we're out". The entire experience was full of sarcasm, neglect and unprofessionalism. This occurred at 11AM and they open at 10:45am, no straws so early in the day? Straws weren't even the worst part of this experience it was the customer service and the disgusting manner in how I had to receive the message.

Im giving 5 stars because the food is always delicious and well prepared. Is there always a wait *during lunch time* absolutely- but it comes with the area. If you come outside lunch time then the wait is much shorter (DUH). The staff is super busy and working hard- so cut them some slack! Jeez.

Employees Seem to have no concern for for sanitary practices. Putting on gloves carelessly with their bare hands touching the outer surface of the glove. Having a glove on one hand but handling food with their bare hands. Handing their cellphones and then handing food with their bare hands. Wouldn't eat here, don't trust it.

Listen, cava in terms of food is always good and this place is no different, it's just that sometimes the wait is substantial for what a fast casual joint should be, the lunch rush is an absolute bear here and evidently there's a police and or fire academy nearby because it's frequented by them at this time. Back to the wait, they typically have one person per section, which extends the wait because people will place multiple orders and there is just one person handling making the food. So for the person ordering for themselves and a few friends, that means a new bowl per item which takes time. It just would be nice if they could distribute the workload a bit more in the interest of saving time.

It really pains me to write this review but unfortunately I will never visit this cava again. I was a regular here for the past 2 to 3 years because I work in the area and over the past few months this place has gone from bad to worse and only seems to be declining. Whether you order food to come to you or go in it is an equally bad experience. They said you the wrong thing or of you go in the food is not fresh and disgusting. The workers are unprofessional I'm officially done with cava to the point I have deleted the app off my phone please do not waste your hard earned money and patronize this dump!!

While I still like Cava food, this location is by far the worst. The staff is unresponsive & rude, and their system is atrocious. They push orders 1/3 the way with one person only for them to sit on the counter waiting for the second person to do the rest and complete the check out. Naturally, that leads to a massive backlog even if their are only 3-4 people in line, resulting in the anyhow only lukewarm protein to get cold. And that doesn't even consider that the place is anything but clean, and the scanner to get reward points is permanently broken, which makes it even more expensive without being able to collect points or get rewards. I'll look for better places to get Cava in the future, and if they are t any better I'll cross the entire chain of my list of go-to lunch places.

Slow, dirty, expensive. A true disappointment after not coming here since pre covid. I waited in line for almost a half an hour to get substandard food. Counters are dirty with old food everywhere. I used to love Cava, but I will never go back to this location again. You have been warned.

I love cava Shoutout to them for being open till the very end to closing time. I grabbed a bowel at 9:57pm and all ingredients were present. Yummy and filling !

I really like the concept of Cava. The customer service at this location was excellent. The young man who served us went above and beyond and was super patient with me while I took my time figuring out what I wanted. I wish they had more veg/pescatarian protein options besides the mixed veggies and falafel. I wasn't a fan of the crazy feta but everything else was tasty. I enjoyed the fresh side of pita! We even got some extra thrown in which was nice.

This place is amazing. The food was amazing but better than the food was Irines service! Wow you need more employees like her Cava corporate! I'll be back with all my family and friends!

This is by far the best Cava location I have been to and very convenient for the students in the area. TJ was my server, he's an amazing server. TJ was very kind and enthusiastic. 10/10. The food was amazing, the harissa avacodo is my "go to". Great atmosphere!! Love it!! Definitely worth returning to THANK YOU TJ :)

Finally tried cava - the real way (aka Emma Chamberlain's way) and Cava just does not disappoint. This is honestly better that what I would consider Mediterranean chipotle, and we need one in the Bay Area, California! I got a saffron rice falafel bowl with fresh sliced avocado and spicy hummus, Muhammara, and baba ghanoush. All of it was so delicious, and it their bowls come with unlimited toppings. I'd definitely fit this in my schedule at least once every two weeks!

No Air conditioning. It is about 100 degrees inside this establishment and atleast a 45 minute wait on line for food due to slow service. The food is good but by the time you get it, you will be dripping in sweat from the unbearable temperatures inside this place.

This is the second time I've walked all the way from my apartment to this Cava for the spicy green bowl, to stand in line, only for them only for them to not be any falafel. I don't think I will bother trying a third time. How are you a Mediterranean restaurant out of falafel?!! Often.

First time coming here recently and the line was very long, and they were out of a lot of items while it wasn't even midday. The employees had a really bad attitude and gave really negative vibes. I love going to Cava but this one was not it. I spent over $50 and couldn't even get points for my order because their scanner didn't work. On top of that the restaurant looked dirtier than a gas station and there was some dude digging in the trash eating leftover bowls.

We visited Cava while visiting the Brooklyn bridge. The staff was very helpful explaining the menu since it was our first time there. They are like a chipotle with more unique options. The food was good and seemed fresh. The spicy chicken is quite spicy but it wasn't unbearable. The drinks were really tasty. We tried all of their juices & liked them all.

Cava is a great spot to get a quick lunch. I love any place that lets me create a custom bowl, and this place has a wide variety of bases, dips, and toppings to choose from. In my experience, everything has always been tasty and fresh. I usually get half lentils/half arugula for my base & top it with hummus, babaganoush, feta, and grilled veggies, but their lamb meatballs are excellent as well!

This is my first time coming to Cava after seeing multiple people rave about it on social media and thankfully it lives up to the hype! I was welcomed by Janaya, who basically walked me through all the items that were spicy (because I know my tastebuds) and made the best mediterranean bowl I could've asked for! After talking with the manager Mohammad, he found out I was a CAVA virgin and told me a must have was the pita chips! I don't think I could thank him enough for introducing those heavenly carbs to me. The food was fresh, the staff was very friendly and the music kept my foot tapping! I'll definitely be back

I would have given them 5 stars but they ALWAYS forget the free pita bread which is so annoying however, they salads are AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!! So I was o eager to eat my salad that I completely forgot to snap a pic but here's the receipt of what I got. Guys, when I mean DELICIOUS, I mean DE-LI-CIOUS!!

Cava is a fantastic healthy quick eats for students. Their ambiance is very modern and a little studious. Although I do wish there was either more seating or a building extension. The place does fill up quite quickly. I was greeted by Mohamed on my way in. There is friendly, quick moving staff. And the lemon chicken bowl is back for the season.

I wanted to stay under 700 calories so I ordered the chicken dates. It was rice glopped on spinach glopped on sauce glopped on a giant amount of corn. I wish there was a better low calorie option! The staff were really nice I'm confused about why people would eat this.

What else can I say... Cava is my first love!! I love when I have the chance to order from here, it's such a great treat. I love being able to make my own bowl with the most tasty and seasoned veggies and meat. The employees are always so kind and make the experience so fun. It's a very chill lunch vibe, and I always love coming here. Also the portions are huge and make for great leftovers!

Best customer service coming to CAVA. HAVE to shout out Muhammad (probably spelling his name wrong). Between him and Victor, I don't have enough nice things to say about this establishment. They're always smiling & welcoming. They accommodate my massive orders. Their positive attitudes are infectious & I am honored to leave this review praising them. It doesn't matter what time I stop by, I'm always welcomed with a smile and they never run away from my requests. Please stop by.

I am OFFICIALLY DONE with CAVA. I will only eat this chain in the west coast... (see my other CAVA review). Something is seriously wrong with the quality here in NYC. WTF is it?!? Ok - first, NOT that the line was long, it was not managed correctly. The staff themselves look like chicken running without its head! It should not take 10 mins to move 1 customer. There should be a clean line assembly. Period. Hello?! If you're gonna copy Chipotle, at least get the efficiency down!!! What a nightmare to eat here. Thinking, "hey there's only 10 people ahead of me, I'll be done in 10 mins". Wrong, the line does not move fast (don't listen to those lies), you'll be lucky if it moves at all. And Be Warn! They confused themselves when trying to figure out the orders of the bowls because the guy totally messed up and "placed my bowl" behind the customer after me. How does that work for efficiency and accuracy? Zero. About my bowl... of inadequacy... rice bowl, with yogurt & hummus; added grilled beef balls, red cabbage slaw and cucumbers & tomatoes. Nothing fancy but hoped the food would deliver because once again, I had a really epic bowl in Santa Monica. This branch - It did not. The beef balls were so dried, as if I'm chewing on beef jerky. I was so disappointed once again in the quality, that I simply made a decision to forgo eating at any CAVA branch. Life goes on. Until my next trip to Santa Monica!

For the past year my friends have raved about cava, so I was excited when they finally came to Brooklyn. I came in and got on the line , from start to finish, it was about a 35 minute wait. The employees were nice and very helpful. You pick a grain or salad , or both! You pick a protein and various toppings. Which is great! This is the mistake I made, I mixed everything together in my bowl, which ended up making the food taste bland. My supervisor had also gotten a bowl from here, but she ate everything separately and she enjoyed it! Here's the downside, I found out that certain city employees get a discount. I definitely don't think this is fair. If you're going to discount one group, give the discount to the other city employees as well. Not cool guys.

Service was really bad. Staff needs a pep talk or some sort of morale boost. Other CAVA locations are much better. Take train ride a few more stops into the city.

I placed an order to pick up today at 5:30 pm I got to the store. The woman who was making the salads appear to be under the influence of something and was moving at a very slow pace. I was actually concerned about her. When I got home which was a 2 Hour Drive! there was only two salads when I ordered three and paid for three. While I was at the store, I asked her for pita chips and she said they were closing shortly when I looked on their website that location closes at 10 PM which was around 5 1/2 hours from the time I ask for it. When I called the store back to let her know she only put two salads in the back she said oh there it is. Very disappointing and I will never return to cava.
