CAVA

CAVA has great bowls and a good variety of juices, lemonade, tea and soda. Being at Legacy West, parking can be a mini hassle (parallel parking along Windrose Ave if you get lucky, or you'll have to walk from the parking garage - both options are free). If Legacy West is already your destination or you have extra time to sit and enjoy a bite, then CAVA is an excellent healthy option. It's especially nice if the weather allows for patio seating, which is across from a nice large fountain.

I really like CAVA. It’s just good. The flavors from the bowls are really good if you like Mediterranean food. Also the app and reward program is laid out nicely.

Ordered a Pita with double meat for pick up and was very disappointed. I didn't get the double meat I paid for and they gave me several pieces of lettuce. No cucumbers either!Seems like quality goes down when you don't dine in. Not looking for anything special just what I paid for. I think they gave me more olives than meat. My wife's bowl was also very short in ingredients.

The ambiance is great, but the time we visited was almost evening, so it wasn’t fresh. The falafel was the last dish for me, and the bowl was dry and burnt. The outdoor area is good, with a fountain view.

Visited for lunch, and the service was great. I went around 5 PM and chose to sit outside with a nice view of the water fountain—such a lovely spot! However, the falafel was disappointing—it was dry and lacked flavor. Other than that, everything else was good, and the overall experience was enjoyable!

My wife and I ordered uber eats from Cava as this location isn’t super accessible. They left an entire bowl off of our order, and refused to do anything to help us. The lady on the phone was rude and unhelpful. We ended up getting charged over $58 for ONE bowl. Utterly ridiculous, and completely unacceptable for this to happen.

I love eating here, my first time trying it was Monday and came back Tuesday. It's right down the street from my job so I'll be back, everything is so fresh!

They still got it! Went here a bunch when it first opened but I havnt been in a while… but happy to say they still got it and customer service is A+. Food tastes much better when you have happy people making your meal. I’ll be back soon! Shoutout to Sole for making such a beautiful bowl!

Had the pleasure to dine and shop and stop by Cava at Legacy West. The employees that work there are just as amazing as the food they prepare. The vibe inside is good the music isn't too loud and, you can always have the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. I'm grateful for the woman who prepared my harissa bowl today. I inquired about the lentils and.what they tasted like," she offered me a sample " I now learned I dontimg the lentils however just not in that particular bowl. But if you are in the area come in , let the employees offer their amazing service and get you together with a bowl of something else.

Always a reliable lunch option! Fresh food and lots of selections so that you can customize your meal to any preferences or dietary needs you have. I recommend using the app to order ahead of time especially if you are in a rush. You can't go wrong with any combination of ingredients!

I love all their allergen friendly options/vegan options. All ingredients are posted so you know what the sauces and spices consist of. Portions here were average. Kids meal is pretty decent size for a kid and could also prob feed an adult. Parking sucks since it's in legacy west, but def would go back if I'm in the area. (This location is better than the other location I've tried)

Love cava and normally service is not an issue but the front line girl Angel at this location needs an attitude adjustment, really could not give an f about you throughout the whole line And as if my missing pita on a to go order is the most inconvenient ask

I've heard so much about cava and couldn't wait to give it a try so on a recent night in Plano I decided to give it a try. It's set up like many line serving restaurants but they offer "healthier" options. I got one of their select bowls that included a lot of delicious add ins. They were out of chicken so I subbed the lamb meatbals which were dry and lacked flavor. The entire salad was tasty especially when all the ingredients were combined. I think for a salad bowl joint it's a bit pricey but overall satisfying. ctions More

I came here about 3 months ago for a mobile pickup order and had a terrible experience. The portion they gave me was unreal and unfair for the price. It was less than half of the bowl for $12! I will never be coming back to this location. It's the second time I have a bad experience and there won't be a third. They really need to improve on the portions and customer service.

I absolutely love coming here! Not going to lie, I was pretty bummed when I heard they were doing away with Zoe's Kitchen and replacing some with Cava, but after giving it a try, Zoe WHO!? My first time visiting, I was in a bit of a rush, so I ordered online for in store pick up. I wasn't super happy about having to wait an additional 20 minutes after arriving before my food was ready, but when I got home to eat my food, it was so good, I couldn't even be mad. The bowls are sooo good! I've had it a few times a few different ways (with rice/greens, and without, with and without the roasted vegetables, with the harissa honey chicken & with the regular chicken). Each time it was delicious and super filling without being overtly heavy (gotta love Mediterranean food!) I've heard the spicy lamb is really good too. Oh and also, try the pita chips with the red pepper hummus. You won't be disappointed!!

Food is awesome ! We love it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND it The service could be better. A young man who was preparing the food was very helpful (Feb-25 ; 7.30 PM). The lady behind the counter was rude and seemed distracted and irritated with us asking for some missing spoons. She was on work fooling around with her Shake-Shak boyfriend

I've given this place plenty of chances and it's time we part ways. A few things: - unorganized and slow even with me being the only person in line - food portions are inconsistent and very stingy lately - the bowl is half full (1 table spoon of rice?) - salad is moldy - check before you move to the next station if the leaves are brown.. - dirty inside and half the machines are broken - tables don't get cleaned often - staff looks lazy and doesn't want to be there (if they're holding you against your will, please tell us!!) - almost forgot: DO NOT order online for pick up, they will most certainly mess it up. Every. Single. Time. This seems to be an issue at every single cava location I've been to so don't bother hoping for a better experience elsewhere. They will definitely let you down. Chipotle is a 10 min walk away. Much more consistent and pleasant. Do it, it's worth it.

Daniel gave great customer service and the food there is great. I always recommend to get food from Cava. If you're someone who likes Chipotle. i would choose this over that any day. They have more options, give out more protein, and its high quality.

Ordering here is super simple; there are 4 chef-curated bowls to choose from or you can customize your own bowl. I came with my family and we each built our own bowls, and the staff were super friendly and patient with us and looked up what dressings/toppings were vegan. There are so many options for healthy greens, grains, protein, veggies, and sauces, and you can always customize things half and half! Only tip would be if you're looking for more volume, I would NOT get the falafels or meatballs because they are small, and they only give you 4 (or a measly 2 if you do half the serving) for the entire bowl. Otherwise, mine tasted great, and the rest of my family enjoyed their meal!

CAVA has quickly become my new addiction. Everything is always so fresh and tasty. I feel like I'm eating a healthy bowl packed with a ton of flavor. The staff at this location are all so friendly. I love it here.

This place is like the Mediterranean version of chipotle. You can make your own bowl and add what you would like to into it. I got the half salad + half rice option. The chicken is very moist and yummy. I was thinking about getting the lamb meatballs, but it is extra. I'm not sure if it mentions anywhere on the menu because I had to ask to see which meats were an extra cost. All meals come with a mini pita for free, so make sure to ask for that if you want some! Overall, I felt a little healthier after eating here and will definitely come again if I'm in the area. The downside is that it is located in Legacy West, so it can get very busy. It took me a while to get into the area and find a parking spot. If you don't feel like waiting in a line of cars and are looking for a quick meal, then maybe this wouldn't be your best option this time.

Horrible, just horrible! Brown rice was uncooked and raw. Yogurt and dill Dressing and grilled chicken did not taste good. We barely got any sauces and dips added. Rice was raw in both chicken and veggie bowl.

I am posting the same issue that I posted under the Cava on El Dorado Parkway because there appears to be a systemic issue. "This is the second Cava our family goes to that is apparently not receiving online orders. When we reached the location, there was a huge line of customers standing around experience the same issue: employees were not able to find any of their orders and had to make them on the spot. The frustration amongst everyone (both customers and employees) was incredibly tangible. Frankly, I feel quite bad for the employees as it appears that they are dealing with some sort of faulty technology (and as mentioned earlier, the issue appears to be systemic as the Cava at Legacy West displayed the same problems last week when our family went). Hope this gets clears up!!"

CAVA is a gem! I enjoy Cava in Plano and the employees are always so nice! My go to is a rice bowl with tzatziki and harissa. I like a lil spice in my food so I always get the honey grilled chicken and the spicy chicken. The veggies take the bowl over the top! Pickled onions, tomato and cucumber mix and the roasted corn. And I get the lemon herb tzatziki on the side. Last but not least, do not and I mean absolutely DO NOT forget the pita chips. When the pita chips are fresh, they never make it home! I love CAVA not only because of my option but it also doesn't make me feel overstuffed and sluggish/I have limit myself to only once every two weeks. I wonder if they have a loyalty program or something??

I normally love Cava, but this location is by far the worst one I have ever been to. If I could I would give negative stars. Management has to be the worst I've ever seen. I've given this location many chances, but this was the last straw. I placed an online order and got there at the pick up time and had to wait another 45 minutes for my order. No one acknowledged me for 30 minutes. Once an employee asked if I needed something I said I was there to pick up a to go order so they finally started making it. They made everything wrong and then when I asked them to remake one order he wanted to argue with me and I had to pull up my order to show him. BEWARE, stear clear of this Cava location!!

This place is awesome and delicious! First class, unique, healthy and special Mediterranean food - we really enjoyed it. Their cucumber mint drink was delicious as well. The lamb is $3 extra, but they don't tell you that. Skip it anyway, the lamb meatballs are the best.

This a great spot if you're in the mood for Mediterranean, something fresh, and if you enjoy the Legacy West vibe. Cava is a chain with coastal locations in the Northeast, West Coast, and 2 locations in the DFW area. (Dallas and in Plano) Ordering for takeout was easy through their website. I ordered a falafel pita. I was pleased to see there was a dedicated lane for curbside pickup. Food was brought out promptly and once I plated at home, it was still warm and tasted delicious. The pita was absolutely yummy, I wish I had more of it. Falafel was flavorful! Will love to visit for a dine-in experience soon!

Given this place chance after chance. No more. 20 dollars for a soaking wet mess, an old and poorly cooked meal from a quality chain that has a well-made blueprint for success that simply isn't being followed. I could've gotten a fresher salad from McDonald's, certainly from Chic-fil-a... ridiculous. A fantastic chain, an incredible location - must have a wealthy owner who absolutely doesn't give a crap about their restaurant. Cava corporate should take back their license and close it down or replace the owner. If food isn't burnt it's soaking wet, old and stinky. This from a place that prides themselves on a fresh healthy option. Employees seem to be in a bad mood every time we go in, like they aren't being cared for either. Never going back to this location. Wow, this has now become one of my favorite places. I'm always looking for healthier options, and friends have been raving about this place. I'm now a huge fan. I ordered the bowl and personalized it with harissa chicken, brown rice, spinach, hummus, feta, other veggies and tzatkiki sauce. It was amazing and had a kick to it which I loved. I ordered a pita wrap to try for later, took a bite and was already impressed. You can personalize your meals to cater to what you want. I'm definitely a fan and will come back!

Food is always great and always fresh! Staff super friendly service and helpful with food choices. Plus, it's always great when you are remembered as a regular.

Let me start by saying I LOVE CAVA (the overall company/brand and food). This review is specifically for this location in Legacy West and it's uncleanlinesses. Last night I went and was mortified. The girls working on the line didn't practice proper hygiene. One kept the same pair of gloves on between making bowls and operating the register. The other one kept touching her breast area while at the register and when she rang us up, she thought it would be a good idea to place her entire hand inside of my cup. She was annoyed that I asked for a different one and put the contaminated one back in the stack. I also had to remind them that I ordered pita chips (which need to be deep fried). The both of them went over to the fryer clearly with malicious "payback" intentions. I had to stand there and watch them the entire time to make sure my food wasn't tainted. They both kept looking back at me laughing while one kept trying to shift her body to block what they were trying to do. It's really awful that you can't pick up "clean food" in a clean restaurant with decent employees. Trash was everywhere (inside and outside), the drink station was disgusting and nearly empty, and the floors were sticky. The last 4 times we've gone there it has always been around 8:30pm (an hour and a half before closing). The restaurant has actually been filthy every time - usually not 1 clean table. Other complaints: They are always out of food especially the lamb and spicy lamb meatballs. The grill is always off and unattended as if they're getting a 2 hour head start on closing. Therefore whatever is made at that time, is all they will have for the rest of the night. So good luck getting a complete bowl. The only reason I give this location 2 stars and not zero is because of the one curly dark haired guy that actually made our bowls last night. I don't know what happened but at some point the service dropped off completely and it feels very much like a management issue. There are so many tourists that visit Legacy West that may not know CAVA. What a great way to ruin a great brand.

A Mediterranean chipotle~ I loved this place! Lots of options and varieties to choose from. Cava is a pretty healthy dining option depending on what sauces and dips you choose. Portions here should be more than enough to fill you up! I really enjoyed the spicy lamb meatballs and falafel!! Price is a little more expensive than chipotle but it is well worth the experience.

Love this place so much! I come there all the time. Everyone is always very welcoming and kind. This place also has the most delicious food! Sally is amazing and so helpful!

It's a new addition at Legacy West. I always like Mediterranean food because of the healthy options, like salad, falafel, pita bread, and hummus, and lamb as well if I want meat. It's cafeteria style. There are step by step instructions posted at the beginning of the assembly line. You probably won't need or won't read them anyway. I ordered a salad, which had assorted veggies like arugula, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. For the protein, I picked my favorite meat - the braised lamb. The veggies were all very fresh and the lamb was fantastic! Very juicy, tender, and flavorful. It came when pita bread, which was nice. I got only water for my meal. But they do have bottled drinks in their cooler (see my picture ... later). In addition they have other fruity drinks, like watermelon, strawberry, peach, and sweet tea at their drink station by the entrance. The interior is modern with wood panels and simple lighting. There is also patio seating. If the weather is nice, find a table outside and enjoy the live street view of Legacy West by the fountain!

This place is really starting to become a favorite of mine. It's very close to my office so it's hard to not think about it every time you walk by. Like others have said it reminds a lot of Chipotle but for Mediterranean food. On my first visit I tried the grain bowl. They had several different kinds of rice I tried it with saffron rice. They also have salad bowls if you want to avoid the carbs. You can pick multiple other options and it comes with pita bread. I picked chicken as my protein which I liked a lot. It was juicy and had good flavor. You can pick multiple dips and I went with the tzatziki and harissa. The tzatziki wasn't bad but the harissa was amazing. It's really hard to find good harissa in DFW. Good flavors and good heat. You can also add dressing, I tried the sriracha greek yogurt which was amazing. Both great flavor and a good kick. The bowl is huge, you have to be really hungry not to have leftovers. On another visit I had already eaten lunch but I was still hungry and I tried their kids meal. The kids meal was actually surprisingly small. If you haven't had lunch I would definitely recommend the bowl and just bring the leftovers home. The grain bowl is $9.57 before taxes which is a really good deal considering how much food you get and how fresh everything tastes.

Been to different Cava locations and really enjoyed it. This one, hmmm. First, we're told there is only romaine because it's Sunday. ?? No corn, no hummus. My wife asked for tomatoes & the server put pickled onions by mistake. We asked to remove the pickled onions, which she did.....and put them right back in with the other pickled onions on the serving counter. It's was very slow on Sunday afternoon...maybe 6 total customers. But tables needed to be wiped down, trash on the floor. Just looked dirty. Last.....yes, there is a small label that says "beverage trash only", which you can see no one follows, but I just found it kind of gross to have the trash receptacle literally 3" from the plastic forks & spoons.

I ordered takeout the Harissa Acocado Bowl with pita. There's no pita in the bag and portion is small. The rice is crunchy and the avocado is so hard I cannot pierce it with a fork.

I eat here all the time! Cava has healthy food at a good price point. The location at Legacy West is my favorite because the people that work there are friendly and fun. Reagan, Teanna, Queen, Conner, Oh there are others there that I'm not remembering, that are just as awesome... give it a shot, especially if your military, fire, LEO. Great folks. Healthy food

Super healthy and tasty foods. Ivan behind the counter was very friendly and helpful in choosing bowls we both liked. Highly recommended and will be coming back!

Rice was dry. Female named Angel was very rude and arguing with the other worker about the amount of chicken I was given. Portion sizes were smaller than other locations. Fountain drinks were not working. Most tables inside were dirty. Won't be coming back.

This location never fails. The entire team is great and friendly. Cheyenne, the manager runs a great store and I can tell that the team always goes above and beyond for their customers. Sandy, is awesome. She took care of me and made my belly happy. She was amazing and so nice making sure she got my order correct. The food is always consistent and the staff warm. This is my go to spot especially since I live around the corner, winning.

I love coming here for lunch. The bowls and gyro wraps are both delicious. I feel like they could work a bit more on cleaning up the dining area and serving area so that's why I took off a star.

Dropped in with my mom for lunch today and we will definitely be back! I think we found our new favorite place. It has only been open for two weeks and there are only four other locations in Texas. Love the concept! I give it five stars for taste and quality. For the portions you get, the prices, in my opinion, are reasonable. I ordered a salad grain bowl with baby spinach, brown basmati rice, falafel, chicken, roasted red pepper dip, crazy feta, cauliflower quinoa tabbouleh, and pita crisps with spicy lime tahini dressing. Huge portions, affordable Mediterranean. I've never thought the Mediterranean restaurant in popping areas like Legacy West, where many fancy cars like Ferrari, Porsche, McLaren are driven with rumble roars, sells the affordable lunch. Even though it is affordable, it's huge portions, fresh, clean, healthy, handled by waitstaffs behind the glass panels. My menu chosen from BUILD included grains, spreads, toppings, proteins, dressings, and a pita bread. Due to the fact it was my first time visiting, I was really confused what I had to choose but the wait staffs were really nice to explain everything to mix stuffs in a bowl. I, in particular, loved the three different spreads, three different area in a bowl, to makes three different tastes. They have plenty of outdoor sittings to see the people, and dancing fountains, and to prevent the contamination in this pandemic era. I hope they survive here to provide the high quality food with nice view, affordable price to the people.

This was my first time visiting this location and I loved it. I was traveling for work and was looking for healthy food options while I had to eat out. The food here was so fresh and very flavorful. As it was my first time the staff here was very helpful and helped to explain what my options were as I moved down the line. I also really loved that in the bowl they gave you half of an avocado. a lot of places charge you +$2 for just a scoop of avocado and they actually gave you a decent amount. I love the spicy toppings they had along with the cucumber, mint, and lime juice. I can't wait to travel somewhere else that has one of these close by. I will be going again!!!!

The worst service I could cry from the humiliation of standing at the counter to order and not being greeted. Slow night on 12/3/21. My first time here and I left w no order. I asked the guy in the red pattern shirt what should I order and he said tell him what I want. I asked him for suggestions because I did not know how the menu worked. I sat down to visit the website because I needed help deciding how the menu worked but felt out of place waiting for cell service. Pro top: visit the website first before walking in. Also, the in person menu does have a few additional option not on the website. I won't be back.

Came here with my family and I will not be returning. The service was absolutely POOR! No one wanted to be at work tonight and it showed. There's was one lady welling to help but the bigger guy was absolutely rude

I'm a fan of the greens and grains bowl. Protein options are always fresh, veggies are crisp and sauces and dips add the perfect touch. The outdoor patio offers a great view of the Legacy West fountains. This is the perfect casual dining spot and I'm so glad it's nearby.

This review is not about how good the food tastes or the quality of the service - because this store has the best tasting food out of any Cava and the service is very good. it's about the sanitary standards Last night we went and ordered 4 plates - different greens - some vegan and some had meats. I personally have been on a water diet for two days prior to that meal - i was really looking forward it to it. All 4 of us developed food poising symptoms shortly after. Not sure what the culprit is - we think it's the cucumber because that's the only thing we all had in common. But the issue here is somewhere along the line someone ignored something that's clearly bad and it ended up in our food.

I visited this restaurant for the first time due to so many reviews on social media. The staff were friendly and patient while making recommendations for me to try. I decided on trying the build it with grains and greens. I chose the lamb meatballs as my protein. I chose the skhug and lemon herb tahini dressing to top it off. The meatballs were a little dry but overall flavorful. I love all of the filler ingredients and the dressings topped the dish off. I will try another protein next time. I would definitely visit again.

It was my first time trying Cava. It was a fun place to try. Similar to chipotle in how you order but the menu is very different. The staff was nice and the food was fresh. Wish the portions were a bit bigger but it was still enjoyable. They were having a busy day so some of the items on the menu was out of stock.
