I frequently visit CAVA, and it’s by far my favorite fast-casual restaurant. The food quality is consistently excellent, but what truly sets this place apart is the outstanding service. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, creating a great dining experience every time. A special shoutout to Kimberly, who is often interacting with customers, her warm and cheerful attitude makes every visit even better. Without a doubt, I’ll keep coming back and recommending CAVA to friends, especially those visiting from out of town!

The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful and super welcoming! The food was tasty, and the service was top-notch. This is by far my favorite CAVA location.

I ordered through uber eats got my order and it was missing some things I called the store and the manager Volerie was very nice and polite and was willing to help me with a new order. I received my new order within 15 minutes and it was perfect hot and delicious. Thanks to the Manager Volerie. This is my favorite spot will order again and again. Your team and staff are on point. Keep up the excellent customer service.

I often visit this location close to closing time, and I’m always so happy when Kimberly or Esmeralda is working. Having worked at Chipotle over a decade ago, I truly appreciate how energetic and kind they are, even at the end of a long shift. They always take the time to answer my (sometimes silly) questions about the food with patience and enthusiasm. This is a fantastic CAVA location, I’m not sure how the day shift is, but the evening crew is excellent!

The food delicious. The place feels cozy, smells yummy, and customer service outstanding. My family and I are so happy and grateful we found this gem. Oh and the iced tea DELICIOUS! Happy Eating!

I'll start out by saying that Cava is my absolute favorite fast casual restaurant. Everything tastes so fresh and authentic, and for me it gives me a delicious, healthy meal at a reasonable price. Every time I've gone there, to any Cava, the food is always fresh and tasty. Not one bad meal ever in more than 5 years of going there. This Cava also has a great outdoor space. This Cava in Tenleytown is my neighborhood Cava. All the staff are super friendly and eager to help you out. Just today, I went in to get my usual greens bowl to go. I got to the register to pay for my order and scanned my barcode for loyalty. The cashier, Valerey, told me that I had a birthday reward... a free dessert cookie or brownie. I told her I couldn't take it because I'm pre-diabetic and can't eat a lot of sweets. She comped my bowl instead, since I couldn't take the reward, which was so unexpected and thoughtful of her. I was really touched. You guys are truly exceptional. Thanks!

Yesterday morning I went to CAVA, I didn’t know what to order because it was the first time I visited the store, there was a girl named Kimberly who helped me with what to get, she recommended me the bowl of spicy lamb avocado and I got it. Let me tell you that it was such a delicious bowl and I will definitely return to the store because she was a very polite girl and gave me a good service and because the food was amazing!!

My bowl was amazing and packed! They gave me everything I asked for and more. I typically use the app to order my food and almost every time it has come out well

Great spot for lunch while on campus at usc . Was on campus for grad school and on our lunch my classmates and i stopped by Cava for lunch. My first time at cava and it reminded me of greek Mediterranean food meets chipotle. The food looked fresh, meats were freshly prepared the greens, rice quinoa were all freshly made and very healthy food options available. You can make your own bowl or pita or order a pre designed bowl or pita. I opted to try their chicken pita and opted to have it made as it was intended. You can customize it as you please which was nice. The taste of the pita hit the spot the chicken, veggies, tzatziki sauce, tomatoes all blended well together providing a beautiful blend what you'd expect from Mediterranean food flavors. The size of the pita was plentiful to fill me up. Price for the pita was a bit high but its expected when on campus at $11.xx for the pita or the bowl option. To wash down the food i ordered there in house juice, strawberry citrus juice. They offer seasonal juices along with fountain soda, and bottled drinks. Overall i had a great meal here and would recommend people try cava especially if you are a fan of Mediterranean food and looking for healthy lunch option. I will definitely come back the next time i am back on campus.

The order was not correct. I ordered double broccoli and did not get any. I ordered pita and it wasn't included. There were very few greens and no utensils. I took pictures. I also called Cava and told them the order problems and the girl was in different. She offered no apology and said if I wanted to come in to the restaurant, she would give me the pita. I ordered Uber heat's because I'm at a hotel for business and don't have a rental car. What a ridiculous thing to say. I ordered delivery for a reason.

I LOVE going to Cava in Tenleytown! Why? Everyone there seems like an authentically real and nice person and I always leave feeling better than when I came in. I know that it takes a lot of effort behind the scenes to create such a consistently positive vibe, and I can see that they are really doing it.

So incredibly grateful to this Cava's manager and staff for helping make our end-of-the-year senior presentations event a success at the local high school. The assortment of dips and fresh pita was such a hit and our students and parents were thrilled. The manager helped me figure out the 'menu' for the event, everything was prepped and in order long before my arrival time for pick-up. It was a completely stress-free partnership. Could not recommend this CAVA more for your catering needs.

I love CAVA! This review speaks more to the service, since my food was pretty on point. The service was very eh - I wasn't greeted upon arrival, nor did I get a "what can I get for you" once I actually got to the counter. So I was pretty turned off from the beginning. I ordered a salad and a grains and greens bowl and while I followed the salad bowl all the way through, I failed to do the same with the grains and greens bowl...so it ended up being a salad. That was cool, it was my fault and I didn't need the rice anyway...but it also would've been cool to receive what I asked for. Other than the mediocre service, I have no complaints. I'll be back of course, because I love CAVA, but to different location.

I went to get lunch at Cava today. There was an extremely rude man holding the line up and being very rude to the staff. The staff handled him extremely well considering his lack of respect for everyone around him. The staff remained professional and did their best to move the line along. The food was excellent and the service was great. Will be back again

I work across the street from this location, and lunch here, is often the best part of my shift. The staff are so kind, attentive, and friendly! The restaurant is always so clean, and no matter how long the line is at lunch, they keep the follow of traffic going. Valerie, Sara and Vanessa are so helpful! they are greet you with a bright smile, and are simply that best ! I truly appreciate them for always making my lunch experience the best !!

This place is like a Mediterranean Chipoptle, and was absolutely great (honestly I may even prefer this to Chipotle). The variety of sauces and flavors were amazing and I'm super excited to go back!

Cava has been one of my favorite places to eat for a while. Ive only ever gone to eat in person. I recently decided I wanted it delivered so I had To go to their own website to do it. Anyway I order over $30 worth of food and my main dish was completely inedible. I got the main dish with a lentil base and the lentils tasted like they were A. Either spoiled or B. Not cooked. They were like very hard and crunchy. I was so hungry I tried to eat around them and I only lasted a few bites. Anyway fast forward a few hours and I got super sick. I was like what the f... did I get food poisoning? Anyway I had to throw the food away, it was disgusting. Anyway I thennnnn emailed customer support. I had several exchanges in nearly every single one thr customer service rep didn't answer my questions, I asked for a refund and nothing. It's been 2 weeks of back and forth with them on an open ticket and I'm So irritated. Majority of my experiences at CAVA have been wonderful above and beyond but I'm really really frustrated with how this current situation is being handled - I feel like I'm being given the runaround and I really really really effing hate that. Anyway I really don't know if I'll be coming to eat there again but for everyone else, I highly recommend staying away from their delivery and anything that involves dealing with customer service that is online.

The food is amazing. Everything is so fresh. It's healthy and delicious. Love the variety of toppings you can add on at no extra charge. And it's peanut allergy friendly! I recommend highly. Pete is the best! He's so friendly and nice.

Solid CAVA. Ordered via Uber Eats and still tasty every time. CAVA gives wonderful options for flavorful and "healthy" food. Black lentils are my go-to for a filling and tasty bowl. Will never go back to rice or greens!

I stopped in CAVA on Roswell Rd to pickup a salad. The customer service was outstanding. Because I didn't know they didn't accept cash and the cashier had already taken my payment, the Manager comp my salad and returned my cash. How awesome is that? It was more important to have a happy customer. The salad was delicious. I will definitely go back!

This location is where I first fell head over heals for Cava! Cava is the full package such as my favorite Mediterranean cuisine items, meals are prepared quickly, fresh & healthy ingredients, and delicious drinks to pair up with their meals. I eat there on a weekly basis and mix up my meals with different protein sources such as falafel, braised lamb, braised beef, and their meatballs. Then they have a great spread of sauces such as lemon herb tahini, yogurt dill, and their vinegarette that accompanies their braised lamb & beef soooooo very well! With so many options of salad, rice, hummus, veggies, proteins, and sauces I just never get tired of this place!

WOW! Yum! oh my goodness, vegan options for me! I just moved to Westminster CO, and I was headed to get a vegan pizza, when I happened upon CAVA; the photo of a healthy bowl of veggies, beans, rice, and dressing caught my eye, so I stopped in and found myself in a vegan paradise! There were so many options to choose from, everything was fresh and colorful, and the bowl I created was mind-blowingly delicious! I will definitely be a regular at CAVA!

This healthy fast casual restaurant close to Tenleytown metro station has improved so much since I was here last few weeks ago. I was particularly happy to see that the harissa dressing is creamy once more (it was very dry and grainy for awhile). The service was friendly, fast, and efficient. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. This is now one of my favorite Cava locations in the area.

Moved from Chicago in October and did not seem to think the hype was real over a fast food chain. I've been to Roti and Naf Naf and thought they were ok but not great - CAVA will change your mind. Love the variety and freshness that is CAVA. I'm converted to greens with chicken, veggies and almost all of the toppings. This location in general is great. The service has been top notch and freshness her questioned. I'm a fan, the end!

I have been to 2 CAVA locations several times in the past year. I appreciate the freshness and quality of the vegetables. Most of the time I order the same bowl. My preference is the lentils and avocado bowl. The price is different and the portions are getting less and less in the bowl. If they are going to increase the price at least keep the serving size above the half mark of the bowl. Also communicating with the staff some time is difficult and they appear to be rushing people through the line. Whatever happened to good customer service!!

After working in Tenleytown / DC for a couple of years, I can truly say this is one of the best Mediterranean healthy fast food ("Chipotle") type spots, with high quality, DELICIOUS ingredients that have a lot of variety. I recently discovered that I'm no longer allergic to Chickpeas / hummus (after 10+ years), and find that the falafel is very well cooked here compared to other places (including the famed Amsterdam Falafel), and the healthy options & taste are not hindered by each other :) The drinks are so delicious & fresh: creative juices, ranging from kale mango Apple, to simple flavored iced teas. Although, a little steep at $2 per (I'd guess) 12-16oz cup, but with free refills it's not too bad. P.S. A comparative falafel quality shop is Roti! Check that out too :)

My daughters moved here last week and our first meal out was at Cava and I was immediately hooked. Not only is the food delicious, the staff is so friendly and accommodating. I had it six days in a row. The store manager, Valery really made me feel welcomed; I will definitely be back every time I visit my girls in DC. I'm sad we don't have any locations in Arizona.

Last week, I ordered delivery from the cava website. The order went through and my credit card was charged BUT the food never arrived. I called the H Street store to inquire but I was told that my order was picked up by "their delivery partner" so there was nothing they could do. I was instructed to request a refund from corporate via the website. Yes, they told me to talk to their corporate people about my missing salads. As told, I sent a messages via website but no one responded. I followed up three days later via the website again but still no response. I visited the store in person and was told to send an email using hello@cava.com. Getting in touch with anyone who can help has been an amazingly difficult task. Online customer service is nonexistent. Almost two weeks later, I have not been able to reach a real person in corporate. Frustrated, I reach out to Cava via their Facebook page. The bot said someone from Customer Experience would reach out that day... No one emailed or called. I have not been able to talk to anyone who can help, aside from the store manager who was powerless. I simply want a full refund for the order. Service online varies. But this is unreal.

Maybe you are catching me on a healthy break/phase but I'm absolutely loving the healthy salad bowls at CAVA. I like the large portion size and flavor of the veggies and meats. I got the half grain/half salad which was enough for two generous meals. I've been a huge Roti fan for a long time but it's good to see some competition. What gave it the edge was the harissa topping and that spicy/tangy harissa green dressing. I love the pickled onions and all the fresh veggies. Definitely will be on my list for healthy options in the DC area.

What can I say - I'm hooked! So much flavor, so many combinations, and all for a reasonable price. I'm addicted to the harissa, beef meatballs, and the green schug sauce. Shout out to Valery, the store manager, who always says hello when she sees me. Thank you!

Excellent portions, fresh food, intense flavors, extremely healthy. I love the CAVA business model, which is like Chipotle but more vegetarian and keto/paleo friendly. Super green salad base, harissa, hummus, falafel with toppings like pickled onions, olives, and feta. It's a huge amount of filling, healthy good. They should be receiving government subsidies.

I eat here like 3-4 time a week cause the food is so good. My food order is usually complicated but the women on the front line here always accommodate me and have even remembered my order. I would like to send a personal thanks to the manager, I believe her name is Yolanda. She has an amazing staff. I always enjoy dining at this location. Thank you to all these hardworking ladies and gentlemen.

Rude employees not helpful. I called to order and it is not allowed you have to order online. I asked if I come in to place an order I get it now? I tried on line at 5:15 for 6:15 pickup but I waited to place order and then the pickup time went to 7;00. So I called and didn't place my order. My friend went in order the same order. People rude no one in the restaurant. She was rang up and it was .53 cents more when she asked they said it's cheaper to order online. So I now noticed the order was placed and I was charged for food that was not picked up. Because my friend reordered and paid for our pickup order. I want to be credited back. And someone needs to train employees how to be friendly and learn what customer service. They don't deserve a star. I will NOT promote this restaurant.

Cava is easily my fave go-to lunch spot in Tenleytown. I work in the area so it's a super convenient 7-minute walk from the office. I would describe Cava as a fresh tasting and wholesome dining option among a sea of greasy and unhealthy fast food. Their menu is perfectly sized...enough to find something you'll like but not too many so as to overwhelm. I really don't bother with variety...I order a splendid greens and lentils grain bowl EVERY TIME. Some might say my order is monotonous and uninspired. I'd suggest those same folks try it and tell me they wouldn't enjoy it again and again and again. Crowds can be tough...especially on a beautiful day when American University is in session. I order via Cava's super convenient app which allows me to walk in and out with my order in a matter of seconds. Customer service is top notch. I'm in there almost every day and they know my name :) Like your mom always says...eat your veggies. At Cava, you're gonna love 'em!

This place was sooooo good. It is one of the best resteraunts I have ever been to. The customer service was great and my server was so nice. You should definitely go here. One of my favorite brunch meals there was the French toast. It was absolutely incredible. This place was the best. You will be blown away with how good it is.

I didn't become familiar with Cava Mezze Grill until I started my new job. Every time someone tried to describe Cava to me, it was always "It's like......Chipotle, but with Greek food." I was a little apprehensive at first, because I didn't fully understand the description. But, girl. Honey. Darling.Let me tell you. Cava does not disappoint. Everything on the menu is just so tasty! The pitas, the super greens, the rice bowl--everything! My favorite meal is the rice bowl with spicy lamb meatballs, it has so much flavor but it's not packed with too much sodium. Before I became hooked on the lamb, I would always get the chicken or falafel, both choices are equally as satisfying--you can not go wrong. Since I work close to this location, my coworkers and I go here for lunch A LOT (...they may or may not know our names and orders?..), so we usually order online and go over and pick up our food which is so convenient and super helpful on our busy days. There have been a few instances where we've ordered our food online and it wasn't ready at the specified time, but the Cava staff were overly apologetic and offered a complimentary drink for each of the orders. It's rare that Cava isn't absolutely on point, but if they ever do drop the ball, they have no problem apologizing and making sure everything is up to par before you leave. Come on, customer service! This location is right in Tenleytown and can get suuuper busy, but the staff does an amazing job of accommodating everyone while keeping the line moving. The most I've ever had to wait to order here was 10 minutes max, even during lunch time. I've never seen this location look dirty or have anything out of place, every time I go I notice that there is always adequate amounts of cutlery (both plastic and silver), napkins, and straws. I frequent this place at least twice a week, and have never been disappointed with any aspect of my meal. I recommend!

They offer Greek food, including lots of food that is gluten free (they have it listed very clearly on their website) in a fast food, chipotle like format. You go through the line, ordering food that is added to your rice bowl (or other options) as you go. Everything tastes very fresh and the meal is always filling. If you need food fast, this is a great option. My one complaint is they don't have great lamb. I love a good, classic lamb gyro and their braised lamb just doesn't cut it, I always have to resort to chicken. My review would definitely be four/five stars with some improved (gluten free) protein choices.

We had high hopes for this place. Great place to go if you want to just stare at the lights, but horrible if you want a good meal. Everything was undercooked. The mashed potatoes are definetly made from powdered potatoes. $88 for a three course meal. It wasn't worth $20. When we left and passed Longhorn, we commented on how we should have eaten there. They always cook the food perfectly and their potatoes are fresh.

Awesome food! Friendly staff and great vegan options. Salad with super greens, mesclun, harrisa, hummus, roasted seasonal veggies, pickled banana peppers, quinoa, kalamata olives, tomato/cucumber salad, Sumac radishes, & cabbage slaw....not sure if I could fit anything else in the bowl...

A legendary DC hotspot! I absolutely love Cava! Love their chicken greens and grains bowl! When I eat at Cava, I don't feel guilty about eating out because they have a lot of healthy options. I didn't know I had a love for Mediterranean food until I moved to DC! This is a great place to grab food to go, a great lunch spot, dinner spot, date spot or a place to have some alone time as well! I also love their sodas! Their Mexican cola is bomb!!! Definitely recommend for those who are new to Mediterranean food and need a healthy place to eat!

I love Cava. Was in the neighborhood so I decided definitely NO to chipotle and went with my favorite -----CAVA AND THERE WAS NO DISAPPOINTMENT.

I can't say enough good things about CAVA - and every time I've visited this location, it's a been a well-oiled machine. I've been here through the lunch rush, dinner rush, and off-peak times- and each time it has impressed me. This is the perfect quick lunch option. It'll get you in and out in less than 30 minutes - and it will fill you up without weighing you down. You'll leave feeling refreshed and ready for the afternoon ahead rather than groggy and ready for a nap like so many heavy lunches make you feel. I recommend taking a look at the menu before you head in. It works as an assembly line (a la Chipotle) and especially at rush hours, you don't want to slow the rhythm. Choose from a salad (lots of lettuce option), grain bowl (rices), salad + grain (my favorite!), or pita (or two mini pitas). Then three of the following dips/spreads: eggplant + red pepper dip, tzatziki, harissa, crazy feta, roasted red pepper, & hummus. You choose one protein (falafel, grilled chicken, grilled meatballs, braised beef, braised lamb, roasted seasonal veges). Top it all off with UNLIMITED toppings and sauces (think olives, onions, romaine, etc.). There are so many variations - you can't get bored. I rarely order drinks at restaurants but the custom drinks here are top-notch. I usually treat myself to one. Highly recommend trying this place out! I haven't met someone who has been disappointed yet!

I had a craving for a good hearty salad. I looked for restaurants near me and came up with CAVA. I made sure to figure out what I wanted before heading there. To get in and out quickly.Well because we're all social distancing I had to wait outside only 2 people at a time , which is fine with me, I was grateful to have a healthy food option. However, when I finally got inside after waiting, the servers didn't seem all to thrilled to have a paying customer. I waited for about 5 minutes before I was acknowledged. 2 people were working behind the counter but neither one greeted me , or asked what I wanted , or even said I had to wait. Both people appeared to be closing up shop and or taking on line orders. A couple even walked in and picked up there order for pickup, but I stood there waiting patiently. Finally the server who just finished taking out their garbage asked another employee if I had been helped and she finally got my order started. She was pleasant and helpful. I just wished the other people were a little more mindful of customer service norms and common courtesy because the food is good, but the poor service is enough to make me not return. I visited on May,8 2020.

Cava sucks big time! It's not the first time they messed up my order. Only half of my order was delivered today. They delivered wrong order too. And they charged my card for the missing order. I called the store on 24th and park, the staff was super rude. I am never going to order from Cava again. And Yes, they never send utensils. Also going to tell all my co workers to not order from Cava anymore
