"Cavanaugh’s in University City is a great spot to watch your favorite team do their thing while being surrounded by Eagles and Flyers jerseys and TVs on the wall. Since it’s located in the area of town packed with Drexel and UPenn students, it can get packed with twentysomethings. This also means you’ll spend commercial breaks or halftime accidentally bumping into strangers if you want to order a round of beers and wings from the bar. They do have a few wooden tables where you can spread out with your friends, split a pizza or basket of mozzarella sticks, and drink a few IPAs." - Candis R. McLean

First time but awesome experience. Food and the drinks, cheap and yummy 😋 Every Friday 5 to 7 there is a free appetizer buffet which includes, sausage, dumplings, spring rolls,potato chips,mushroom balls etc, and this small appetizer buffet is perfect with the drinks.

Parmesan wings were very good! Mussels definitely a reason to go back for $7!!! Quesadillas were good! Add the fries for $2 Drinks were WEAK! Decorum needs an upgrade, interior needs a painting! DJ didn't arrive until 10pm and little mickey paid us a visit. Told the manager and he gave us a round on the house. I still would go back for the PARMESAN WINGS and MUSSELS! (White wine and CAJUN were both very good)

Friendly staff, delicious food! You possibly will find any beer you want to have here. They have a huge collection of beers. Good place to get work done with food and drinks.

The appearance of the restaurant was a little dingy and off putting. And also it was understaffed so it took a while for the food to come out. But when it did the food was delicious and in big portions. Also at a decent price. But when we got our check there was a food tax witch was questionable.

Lots of tvs to view the different sports that's on and a lot of room for everyone to dance and move about. It's a excellent mixed crowd and everyone gets along with each other no matter where you're from or what race you are. The drinks are also great and they have more than enough bartenders on hand to serve drinks so there is no waiting period.

Excellent food. Friendly staff. Received our orders fairly quickly. Only disappointment was we were unable to enjoy some adult beverages as they have lost their liquor license. Location convenient - within walking distance to our hotel - we visited them twice while we were in town.

Their food is superb This is the kind of food that will fill you up. They have a great beer selection. They also do very good mixed drinks as well. The staff here are very nice and check on you very often to see if you need something. This is our go-to spot almost every Monday when possible.
