5 stars all the way!! We are on a road trip from Pennsylvania and stopped here for the boiled peanuts. I walked out with 4 bags of amazing fresh produce and bread! The man (owner?) was SO helpful and SO kind! 5 stars for A+ customer svc, LOW prices, hospitality, food quality, LOCAL produce, selection, boiled peanuts, and cleanliness!

I love this place. The most delicious vegetables and fruits. Last visit I got homemade pimento cheese and even a free slice of cake! A weekly must visit stop!

Google
a quaint mom and pop, open air kinda market, i discovered they've been in business over 40 years, started out selling tomatoes outside of the building. merch includes a huge array of indoor / outdoor plants & flowers, fresh vegetables & fruits, frozen meats, seasonal items, locally prepared cakes, sweets and novelties along with some specialty items. the staff is very, very friendly helpful and knowledgeable...some items are a little exorbitant, while others are what you'd pay at the grocery store. A very nice place. in spite of the 36 mile one way trip, I'll continue shopping here... ☺

I've been going to Cayce Farmer's Market for forever! I went by there today, and it did not disappoint!! The tomatoes were so beautiful! Actually everything was beautiful!! I have moved to Rock Hill, so I can't visit quite as often, but I will stop by every time I am in Cola town. Everyone there is so amazing. It's one of my favorite hometown locations!!

Had a sign up that said peaches $30 a bushel but he refused to sell me a bushel for 30 then went and tore the sign down Its 30 for half bushel sc peaches are cheaper than that in tn. So we let him keep his produce Poor customer service and doesnt stand by what they post prices to be

Yelp
Stopped by here looking for a certain plant. A collard plant to be exact. They didn't have any at the time. So I perused the store to see what else they had and they had a very nice selection of vegetable plants and other plants. They had a humongous elephant ear in the store and I fell in love. I will come back again when I plant my fall garden to see what they have! I spoke with the owner or the manager to ask him some questions. He was very nice and informative. He gave me some tips for my garden.

Yelp
I called them before making the trip to inquire as to if they had "green peanuts".... I had been looking in all the grocery stores with no luck. A guy answered the phone and he wasn't sure what "green peanuts" were.... and I had to explain it to him! He FINALLY told me they did have them so I went not knowing quite what to expect. When I got there, they had them bagged in both 2lb and 3lb bags that you can't see through. At the register I asked and was told they were "Jumbo". I felt them through the bag and told her that they were in fact NOT jumbo and she felt and agreed (thus misrepresentation) LET THE BUYER BEWARE!!!!! I also told her about the person who answered their phone and his lack of knowledge and I made the comment that he shouldn't be answering the phone with his lack of knowledge. I bought 7 lbs of them as I was craving them...... and I enjoy both the jumbo and the small reds. These were the very WORST I've ever had and now understand why they hide them in the type bags they use. (I've eaten quite a few peanuts in my lifetime and in fact, I have my own boiled peanut business but am reliant on the grocery stores to purchase them green (and YES... there is a difference between "green" and "raw" and I've found that a lot of folks don't know that) Anyway, these were so bad that 95% were next to nothing inside them and I threw them all in the trash and made a promise to myself that I'll NEVER go back there and can't recommend anyone else to either. They have other produce but a small selection and more expensive than the grocery stores Another reviewer said they have dairy and bakery but I didn't see either. Its MY OPINION..... that if you're close to the Cayce Farmers Mkt, you would be MUCH BETTER OFF driving a couple blocks down the highway and going to "Food Lion" or.... The State Farmers Mkt is only 5 miles down Charleston Hwy. I WISH I HAD TAKEN A COUPLE PHOTOS SO SHOW YOU..... but at the time, I was so upset and angry that I wasn't thinking about that and couldn't get them in the trash quick enough.

Yelp
I'm all about the fresh stuff, and this farmer's market didn't disappoint. Friendly staff eager to help and offer suggestions plus a wide variety of fresh produce make for a good-for-you experience. They have baked goods as well as a limited selection of dairy products. I was slightly disappointed I could not find any dairy products from a SC dairy farmer -- it was all from a farm in Ohio. For this reason I had to give 4 stars. Plenty of parking our front and along the side of the building. Not open year round, so be sure to ask for the schedule.

Yelp
I stopped here on my way back from Asheville to Charleston. I had just went to the Western North Carolina (WNC) farmers market which is amazing. This place was decent but nothing compared to that farmers market. They did have some produce that reduced and watermelons for a buck! Nice customer service.

Yelp
In my opinion there are many things that make living in Cayce delightful, but there also amenities I miss from living in other places (like good beer selection, restaurant selection, variety at a grocery store). Cayce Farmer's Market makes me forget about the the things I miss because none of the other places had a local farmers market right around the corner. The kind folks at Cayce Farmer's Market take you to a better time. The only thing nicer than the folks that run this place is the prices of their produce, plants, and flowers. Shopping here will cut your grocery bill by 33%. We get all of our veggies, beans, local pickled products, and honey here. You're greated with a smile, and they'll talk to you about the weather, news, etc. if you feel like talking. Great place to get flowers, plants, Christmas trees, and boiled peanuts. They close from January to mid March, and I get excited when I see a hand painted sign that says "We're opening on _____ day. True southern gem. I love that I'm just a hop, skip and a jump away.
