Highlights

"Greetings! Welcome to Cecilia’s Caribbean Cuisine. Cecilia’s is an eclectic sample of what caribbean cuisine should be. We are the first Caribbean restaurant to offer Zabiha halal. Our desire is to bring the taste of the West Indies to Los Angeles. Nestled 2 blocks away from LA Live, we are conveniently located in DTLA extremely close to the 110 freeway. The island connection runs deep at Cecilia’s, with our friendly and cool as can be staff."

"Over in Downtown LA, Cecilia's Caribbean Cuisine offers Zabiha Halal food—they're one of the only Island restaurants in the city to do so. Dishes here embed owner Sean Romeo’s vision of fine dining Caribbean food, which includes ackee and saltfish, organic escovitch snapper, curry chicken patties, and more, served out of a trendy, modern space on W. 11th Street." - kat hong

I'm so happy that a place like Ozi's Kitchen exists. Everything we ate was delicious... The meat patties are so flavorful, the oxtail is a must try, the Rasta mac and cheese is so good that they sold out by the end of the night! The atmosphere, ambiance, music, and decor are such a vibe!!! There are a few tables inside and also outdoor seating which is great to have both options. I can't wait to come back and try more menu items very soon. Highly Recommend 10/10.

I am not entirely too sure why this plane has 4.8 stars. The food is beyond horrible the oxtail had no seasoning and the gravy tasted very oily. If I could give it zero I would!!! On top of that the festival is raw and not fully cooked. I would not be coming back here again sickening. Super expensive and food is horrible

Portion sizes are cool but the food sucks. A real Jamaican did not make this nonsense and if you ever had Jamaican food on the east coast or in Jamaica than you know that this is not authentic.

Ozi’s Kitchen is amazing! This is the best Jamaican food I’ve had outside of Jamaica. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the owner is hands on, takes a personal approach to the customers and wants everyone to be happy. Did I mention the food is delicious? It’s a very warm and welcoming place. The weekends are like a party with the DJ outside. I highly recommend it!

This was my first time ordering here and I’m happy I did… the food was delicious. What I appreciated the most is how pleasantly the guy (tall with glasses) that took my order was, and I believe he was the same one the handed me my food. Customer service was A1… definitely coming back.

Very delicious and flavorful food! The basmati rice and peas were a hit with everyone at the table along with the jerk shrimp. The service was great as well, highly recommend!

Some reviews require detailed. In this case less is more and a picture worth a 1,000 words. @ceciliasdtla #sayless #eatmore #ceciliscaribbeansuisine #largeportions #good #mood #food #music #vibes #culture #dtla 🔥🧆🍲🍛🥩 🍤🍗🥬🫑🍅🥤🤤😋

Got the Oxtails for Lunch and man it's a must have. You get with brown rice plantains and veggies. Definitely recommend this spot!
