"The chichi set in Dr. Phillips come for the invitingly bright and airy interior as much as they do for the puffy wood-fired lavash and stellar plates of Lebanese staples – grilled and sauteed quails, spicy sujouk sausages, and bemieh, a stew of lamb and okra. While the restaurant serves halal meat, it also offers a selection of Lebanese wine and beer." - Faiyaz Kara

I don’t want to be dramatic but this is quite possibly the best restaurant we have been to. The starters, the LAMB, the humus, the cheese, THE falafels, and so much more, it was all delicious. By far the best food we have had in Orlando. Highly recommend.

Google
We were visiting from my Destin, my wife is Lebanese and picked this lovely location. The food was awesome and delicious! The service was fantastic and our kids enjoyed the food as well. We just took one picture but it doesn’t do it any justice. Food was spectacular!! We give Cedar’s 10 stars!

Google
I’m in Orlando 2-4 times a month for work and I’ve now tried almost every single middle eastern offering the Orlando area has to offer in fair distance of the airport. The food is very tasty, marinated perfectly and fresh meats. The service is perfect here as well and I had the pleasure of dealing with Sergios 3 times now dining here and he’s an absolute gem of a server. The hookah outdoor while dining is a great touch that many other locations do not offer, the belly dancing was the cherry on top. Stop in and enjoy the food and atmosphere, you’ll enjoy it!

Mainly ordered delivery from this place. As far as appetizers go this place has the tastiest, most authentic lebanese food I have tried so far in Orlando. Will definitely dine in next time.

Google
Limited options for hookah, but the strawberry margarita was great! 🍓 The had a table ready for us despite not having a reservation. We ate elsewhere before coming here, but the food options were plentiful (and vegetarian friendly too).

I recently dined at Cedars Restaurant in Orlando and had a mostly enjoyable experience. The food was undeniably delicious, offering a flavorful taste of Middle Eastern cuisine that left my taste buds satisfied. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, with comfortable seating and a welcoming atmosphere that made for a pleasant evening out. However, there is one area where I believe Cedars could make some improvements. The manager's attitude towards guests could be more customer-friendly. During our visit, he informed us that all reservations for outdoor seating needed to go through him to accommodate hookah smokers. While I understand the need for organization, I found his demeanor to be a bit brusque. A more welcoming and accommodating approach to customer service would go a long way in enhancing the overall experience at Cedars.

Be very careful when paying your final bill. The restaurant charged me on top of the high menu prices the followings: -Large party surcharge 18 pct on total although we were only 3 persons. -Tax on top -Tip on top of all above !!! Imagine USD 243 charge for 3 persons !. That was ridiculous. We will never visit that restaurant again. Please see attached bill.

Easily one of the best restaurants in Orlando! Cedar’s is an absolute gem. I’ve had the Mahashi Inab and the Mixed Grill Kabob, and both were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the care and authenticity in every bite. The fresh bread with olive oil alone is worth the visit—warm, soft, and completely addictive. Their vegetables are always fresh, crisp, and seasoned just right. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is excellent, and the food is consistently outstanding. If you’re looking for a high-quality dining experience in Orlando, Cedar’s is a must-try. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

Yelp
It was Christmas. Where to go? Asian? No Lebanese. Reservations were booked on Open Table. Cedars' wasn't busy when we arrived, but patrons began to arrive later. Service was slow at first. The server was not very attentive. The food was outstanding. Two people had the rack of lamb. They pronounced the lamb as "the best." Other orders were salmon, kabobs & vegetable platter.

Adam W.

Yelp
Been craving Lebanese for awhile and was recommended this place. The food was amazing! I haven't had grape leaves in a long time and as soon as I took the first bite I was immediately taken back to my grandmothers house. Our waitress was also so sweet and attentive. We even got to speak to the owner who was so fun to chat with. I will definitely be back!

Alaina S.

Yelp
This may be the best little hidden restaurant on Restaurant Row! I was welcomed warmly when I entered despite the near full dining room. I chose the Magical Dining menu and for my appetizer I opted for the safiha, little Lebanese meat pies full of spices- super yummy. For my main I chose the lamb chops which came with veggies (I asked for them to hold the carrots) and white rice. These were by far the most flavorful veggies I've ever had- the lamb chops were tasty but the veggies were the star for sure! I chose the baklava for my dessert and it wasn't as sweet as other ones I've had from Turkish restaurants. Originally my rice didn't come out with my dish but I simply asked the manager and he brought it right over.

Anisa S.

Yelp
My family and I used to came often since it's family owned and so cute but this last visit was not what we were expecting.. while there aren't many places in Orlando that offer entertainment, dining and hookah.. we will definitely contemplate coming back again. The only server that was nice to us were our own who was stretched between various tables. The "team work" was nonexistent and the managers were a little rude..

Danielle N.

Yelp
I have updated my review, the food was exceptional as always.. This time we had the server Jordan, she was amazing so attentive and kind. She works on Saturdays and is great, we will be requesting her next time. Because of her exceptional service I have upgraded my review an extra Star!! This restaurant is a must try! The cedars chicken is so good and you really can't anywhere else, ask for the garlic sauce and eat together!

Hoang T.

Yelp
This is my second time and and food is so good every time. The smoked eggplant is amazing. I even ordered second order to go for later. The grilled shrimp is also my fav thing as well. The service is also very good. They are nice and prompt. I don't live in the area but when I'm in town, I'll be back.

Yelp
Visited Cedars Mediterranean Restaurant yesterday for the first time, but it won't be the last!! Food was outstanding, as was the service!! Looking forward to our next visit!!!

Jody R.

Yelp
Hands-down, one of the top spots in Orlando for authentic Mediterranean cuisine. Definitely on the more expensive side compared to similar restaurants, but you can rest assure that the food is going to be amazing. Can't go wrong with the mixed grill!

John R.

Yelp
I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. From being greeted by a friendly smile upon arriving, to the wonderful attentive waiter (Sam) , and the delicious food; we will 100% be returning!! The chicken and hummus were some of the best I have had at a middle eastern restaurant!!

Mohamed N.

Yelp
Five stars luxury Lebanese Cusine. The food is phenomenal, the staff is friendly. Everything is home made. The meat is the best money can buy in Orlando. You just feel you are in Beirut. Thank you all really. Thank you Sam, Bernard, Joseph and Samy. You recreated the perfect Lebanese experience in Orlando.

Sagir P.

Yelp
Food was okay, the meats could use a little more seasoning or a sauce to go with it. Service was great. Restaurant was nice and clean as well. Home vibe

M M.

Yelp
We absolutely love finding Cedar's. They are absolutely wonderful. Everything is so fresh and tasty. The restaurant is impeccably clean and the staff is five star. Return from my second time this afternoon... love it! The outdoor seating is really wonderful as well .

Carola F.

Yelp
This family-own restaurant is our to-go choice when we want to have Lebanese food. Our favorite is the vegetarian platter! Staff is very friendly. There is plenty of parking spaces right in front of the restaurant and it is wheelchair accessible. They have a belly-dancer I believe once a week for dinner. We prefer to go for lunch when the restaurant is not crowded.

Noel J.

Yelp
This is literally one of my favorites to eat at for some authentic Lebanese food. I do drive an hour and a half one way to eat here. When you walk in it's definitely got the Mediterranean vibe and look. We were sat immediately and greeted with a smile. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We chose outdoor this time. Our server was a female and I didn't get her name but she was amazing. For our appetizers we got kibeh naye I might of butched that spelling lol. Anyways it's raw meat, lamb I believe, ground up super fine and like a paste with the MOST AMAZING spices. You would never know it was raw unless someone told you, and I paired this with tabouleh it's like a Lebanese salad made with tomatoes parsley and onion and of course some more yummy spices. All of it was just superb as always. As our main dish we got the mixed grills which is beef lamb and chicken served with rice and mixed vegetables. And it was to die for!! Meat was so tender and flavorful. And to finish we had some cheese dessert that is fried topped with a simple syrup. It was good as well. Over all I just love this place and all their food. Oh I also forgot to mention all their pita bread is fresh made to order. It's a must go I promise you won't be disappointed

Brian D.

Yelp
Came here on a whim. Tried numerous things everything was amazing. So fresh you leave full but a good full. The service was great and he guided us through the menu since it was our first time. Hope you get a chance to experience this place .

Steve A.

Yelp
I realized it has been ten years since I've left a review of Cedar's on Yelp! Blissfully, nothing has changed. It's still the best Middle Eastern food in Orlando. In fact, I've traveled the world and have yet to find better. The hummus and tabbouleh and baba ganoush can't be beat. The falafel is never greasy, and the pitas are baked fresh and replenished multiple times during your meal. Service is always friendly, and you can tell they are really happy for your business. Perfection.

Tere F.

Yelp
This has been a favorite of ours for a long time yet I have not been since prior to COVID! If I want some good Mediterranean food this was the only place I would go! It is cheap no but it is worth every dime for the flavorful Lebanese food it's authentic! The service is as you would expect they are attentive but also leave you to enjoy your good and take your time the Mediterranean way savor good food and good company take your time and eat! The ambiance is very lively yet relaxed Monday night and the place was pretty full not the usual for most restaurants. Hubby and I paid $116 not overly expensive for what we ate plus 2 beer and a glass of wine. This is a five star experience we moved away from the rat race of Orlando to north west Florida our first visit to see our grown kids and we had to come here!

Elisabeth H.

Yelp
Great food. Wonderful local restaurant specializing in Middle Eastern cuisine. Also perfect for catering events. Indoor and outdoor dining.

Yelp
Many GF choices and the menu is clearly marked! I have eaten here many times and feel safe that it's GF. This is a family business and the food is delicious, healthy, and from scratch. No fake food here. All of the traditional appetizers, Kabobs, Fish, and my favorite marinated Cornish Hen! Excellent attentive service. Outdoor patio and softly lit comfortable dining room.

Claudia E.

Yelp
This restaurant has the most excellent Lebanese food and service. If you have the opportunity and want to experience a good time and entertainment, try to go on Saturdays. Here, you can enjoy great music in a show that will leave you astonished and encourage you to keep coming. The owner will also come and greet you, providing you with excellent service! The best is that you won't know he was the owner until the. End. Which makes him so committed and humble. The dishes are delicious, and they have a great variety. I will encourage you to allow them to indulge you and make your money worthwhile, providing you with an exquisite experience. Thank you Cedars

Nadine A.

Yelp
Was excited to try this place because I heard great things but unfortunately i didn't have the best experience. I'll start off by saying the staff is very friendly and the environment was nice and chill. However the food was just okay, a bit of the dry side sadly. Maybe came on a bad day, maybe one day I'll try it again!

Tom R.

Yelp
This was our first visit and we loved it! We mentioned to our server, Nora, that it was first time and explained the items and made excellent suggestions. We shared the vegetable platter and the mixed grill and it was a lot of food. We persevered and ate it all! Thanks Nora! We will back!!

Joseph S.

Yelp
If this is the one in Orlando Florida cause yelp won't show me the address of the restaurant as it asks me for a review, but if it is, that is some truly authentic and delicious Lebanese food!

Jovin L.

Yelp
FoodieIQ Scores: - Fatayer (spinach pies) = 5.2/10 (Okay!) - Cheese rolls = 5.1/10 (Okay!) - Bemieh (lamb stew with rice) = 3.4/10 (Meh!) I've never had Lebanese food before so I figured I'd check out this place because I heard great things and I enjoy Mediterranean food. My favorite out of the 3 dishes was the fatayer. This spinach pie is a little unique because of the addition of walnuts but even with that it tasted average to me. The cheese rolls are basically their version of mozzarella sticks. To me, the key is always the cheese and this one didn't taste special to me. It wasn't great and it wasn't bad so I gave it an average score. I'm a big lamb fan so when I saw the lamb stew I knew I had to order it. The lamb was cooked well and I enjoyed the meat but the sauce just wasn't for me. The spices weren't bad but my taste buds just didn't enjoy them and is the reason for the low score. Overall, the restaurant looked nice and the service was on point but my taste buds just didn't enjoy the spices on the food. I don't want this review to discourage you from going because I don't believe it's a food quality issue. It's more of a my taste buds just didn't like it.

Jonathan F.

Yelp
I've been going to Cedar's for years. The price point for some items can be on the high side but the authentic flavors are reliably on point. The freshly baked pita is definitely a plus.

Erick S.

Yelp
The atmosphere is great in here for a romantic date. Seating takes a border-line longer than it needs to be and their table service is non existent without you requesting anything while they are passing by your table. The food and presentation is excellent and delicious. The only difference I see is in the quality of their "Freshly Baked" Pitta bread - They do not serve the ones you see in the oven but the ones that are pre-prepared and kept under a heat-lamp. This makes them crunchy and dried out (a far cry from soft, steaming and fresh ones they are known for) I would still recommend this place for a romantic date :-)

Majid M.

Yelp
One of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants in the area, I always take any family or friends that come to visit us to this restaurant

Susan S.

Yelp
We were looking forward to going to Cedar's after friends had recommended it for over a year. We had reservations for our table of 10 people for 8.00 PM, and the place of half full. The service was terrible. We waited for over 10 minutes to place drink orders. It took one person in our group almost 30 minutes to get her drink. One member of our group ordered wine and they could not bring her the wine because they were "waiting for a glass", she got a glass of wine 30-40 minutes after ordering (we could see wine glasses in the glass rack). None of the food came out together. Appetizers came out with entrees. Three of us were still waiting for food when everyone else had finished their meals. I ordered the baked Kibbeh. It was not edible. It was burned, black, and so tough I could not cut it. My husband had to tell the server to clear dishes that had piled up. The friends that recommended Cedar's were with us and they were equally disappointed and embarrassed because they had raved about the place. They repeatedly apologized to all of us, but it was not their fault. The fault is only Cedars. Cedar's you lost a great deal of money the night we were there, we all would have ordered more drinks and desserts if the service had been better. It is too bad, Cedars you don't get a second chance to make a good impression.

Ariston T.

Yelp
This was my first Lebanese restaurant and it was great! There was someone at the table that rarely ate red meat but fell in-love with the Lamb Rack when she tried someone's: From the pictures and ratings -Lamb Rack 5/5 -Shish Kabob 3/5 -shredded steak (forgot the name) 4/5 -Fried Kibbeh 4/5 - CHATEAU KSARA RESERVE DU COUVENT 5/5 -Sujouk 3/5 I can say the sides of were phenomenal, it caught us off guard. I'd definitely return Oh and our waitress was great but I forgot her name (I'm just bad with names)

Cati J.

Yelp
This restaurant is a 10/10 in food, service and the price-quality ratio. Wow wow wow! The food was just amazing. Fresh and perfectly cooked. Zero complaints. Our server was amazing. Have use good recommendations and even gave us extra pita bread and sauce to take home with our leftovers. I believe this sample platter was $20 and there was plenty to share and have leftovers! This is my new go-to restaurant for when I'm craving middle eastern food.

Carly C.

Yelp
Food was great and service was good. However, I had dropped one of my belongings on the floor and left the Resturant. When I came back, a patron informed me they had turned it into the resturant. When I asked for it back they refused, and essentially stealing my belongings. They were going around to each other asking who took it. I've never left a review in my life, then again I haven't had my belongings stolen from me in a resturant by a worker. Unfortunately have to give one star due to sticky fingers. If you keep everything locked up, then this is a great place to visit. Otherwise I would suggest against it.

Ammara T.

Yelp
We were not impressed by the food at all. It was at best a fast food style mediterranean cafe. We got the appetizer platter for $20 which was your basic tabouleh, hummus and some spinach filled pies. They also had some complimentary fresh baked bread but it was really dry and tasteless. For our main entree we got the mixed kabob plate and it was alright but nothing amazing that everyone is raving about. I also asked for a mint tea and got charged $10 which is way overpriced. Overall we spent too much money here and left hungry for some basic food. Our waitress however was a 10/10 and super helpful and attentive the entire time. I think her name was Noor! Thank you for making our experience great.

Christina S.

Yelp
Two stars for great dessert! This was my first time there and there was absolutely no one inside when I arrived. There were a few people outside, but it is a smoking area so that may be why. I arrived during happy hour (no clue they had one) and was waiting for a friend. The server that sat me, didn't even ask me if I wanted something to drink while I was waiting and disappeared to the bar area. He waited until my friend got there and then came over, when he had time, even though the restaurant was completely empty. We ordered the french fries, come to find out that they are fried and then sautéed, they tasted a little undone to us so we asked for a new one. Apparently, that just set him off for the evening. It was angry service from there on out. We ordered bread and the cold appetizer plate, which was delicious. Unfortunately, I had to send that back as well because there was a hair near the hummus. Of course, that irritated him even more. I asked for new plates and he brought two for us and I had to ask for water multiple times. The new plate that he brought over was dirty and I had to grab a new one from another table. I was not sure why they even had plates sitting out due to the Covid situation. I even blew a hair off of that plate as well and he was rude about it when he came back by. Not sure if he was having a bad day or if he doesn't know what customer service is. Anyhow, the food was good. We ordered a spinach pie, falafel and a salad. The salad had a very interesting dressing on it. It was very flavorful yet it did not seem that it had many calories. The dessert was the complete highlight for me. The knafe was the best knafe I had ever had! It had a wonderful rose flavored syrup and the cheese was gooey and it was hot. Randomly, Sergio took over for our table and was really nice and kind. Overall, if you don't pay as much attention to your plates as I do, you will probably enjoy yourself here. Also, this was very disturbing to me that there was a ceiling tile that looked very scary. Not sure what happened there. Great knafe though!

Derek M.

Yelp
Ordered food to go. Shawarma wrap, chicken wrap, hummus with meat, and cheese sticks. Everything was really good. We have ordered from here several times and the food has been delicious. We have always done take out so I do not know about dine in service.

Sujaila R.

Yelp
Food has gone down. The quality of the food is not the best. Steak is tough and hommus is just ok. Mixed grill is not that good either. Not sure what happened.

Christopher P.

Yelp
Looking for authentic Lebanese food they have it! Cedars Orlando is amazing! I can't wait to visit again

Aubrey E.

Yelp
Love this place. Have taken several large groups here for business dinners. I think I've probably eaten everything on the menu. Very good Lebanese cuisine. Highly recommend.

Alexus T.

Yelp
The best choice of the weekend! Visiting from out of town, we are celebrating my brother's birthday and I put myself in charge of finding a nice restaurant because I am the foodie of the family. Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisines will forever be my go to and my family has never really tried it. I wanted them to experience a new culture and this restaurant did not disappoint! Parking was easy because there is a big lot right in front and it is easy to spot the sign in the plaza. Cedar's is the true definition of fine dining and authentic food. From the decor, live entertainment and the friendly staff, we really enjoyed our experience here. You need to add this one to your list and dress for the occasion!

Larry G.

Yelp
A most delightful dining experience. The food was tasty, the atmosphere pleasant and the waiter was efficient and friendly. Special mention must be made of the delicious hot pita bread, which the waiter told me is made at the restaurant.

Deverika G.

Yelp
I dont wanna tell people I love this spot and am just sad I don't live closer or Id get take out ALL the time! Its not often post pandemic you can get any dish and it is delicious. Just throw a dart at the menu and you are GOOD! That is if you like Mediterranean food. Cedar's doesn't disappoint. Great atmosphere for a dinner date, lunch date or even large party meal. The decor is minimalistic for its peers over in "Restaurant Row" but still stylish. The kitchen is mostly open where you can see their brick oven and lavash bread being made. The staff is so nice and they did have an issue with some repairs needed to their ladies room (running toilet and broken door latch in one stall) but the staff immediately jumped to address it when I mentioned it. Parking is good once you can get in the shared lot there is a lot of businesses in this space. Much easier than other restaurants in that area. Ok now the FOOD! I first tried their mixed grill kebab with their basmati/jasmine rice and veggies. The veggies are perfect! Firm but not raw with seasoning (hello Garlic!). The rice is so aromatic it can be eaten solo. And then the grilled meat assortments are flavorful and juicy. My last visit was lamb chops with the same sides. Soooo good! Even more tender and flavorful than the kebab. The appetizers Ive tried are their salad, their hummus with roasted lamb, falafel, the kibbeh and the Shanklish. Amazing! All of them! Finale is always their Knafe but the Baklava is really good. Some stuff didnt make it to the pics but I promise you they dont miss. I cant wait to go back!

Bill G.

Yelp
Absolutely love Cedars. I am a transplant from the Detroit area going now 17 years. My first 10 years here was frustrating because Florida has limited great food unless your Latino. Cedars is authentic Arabic food and likened to what I experienced for many, many years in Dearborn, MI, which is the largest Arabic community in the US. My birthday is soon. Cedars is my choice!

Natália S.

Yelp
Tivemos uma excelente experiência no Cedars. Comida maravilhosa. E muito saborosa. Pedimos a Kafta e lamb de prato principal. E de entrada pedimos esfiha e o pão fresquinho com a leban salad. O atendimento foi excelente. Vamos voltar em breve com certeza

Ida C.

Yelp
Had a marvelous time at this restaurant. First time at restaurant . We're greeted very warm and friendly. We had a choice ofOur server, Sergio was helpful in helping us decide what to have. Since this was Mediterranean, we had to let Sergio guide us. Our entrees included Mixed Grill on Kabobs of chicken, lamb and beef. Meat was very juicy and tender. Our next entree was Farouj Musahab. It was beautifully grilled, marinated lemon flavored Cornish hen. It was juicy. Our vegetables included , broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, and yellow squash. There was plenty of rice. Because there was so many things on the menu and the way Sergio described them , we got extra dishes. We also had the Kibbeh Bi Laban, which was Fried Kibbeh balls( ground beef and cracked wheat, stuffed with lamb) cooked in yogurt sauce served with rice. There are so many good dishes that I will be going back here again.

Joanne L.

Yelp
Service was slow it probably took 45 minutes for the food to come out. The food was great

John S.

Yelp
Why is this 4 star? It's great. Food / atmosphere amazing. Come on a Saturday for belly dancer. So fun!

Barry H.

Yelp
Iconic and just like it was directly from Lebanon. Love the staff how treat us like family.

Wendy B.

Yelp
We usually get take out from here but it is a great place to dine also. There is a belly dancer sometimes that's a fun treat to watch. The food is always amazing but the baklava omg - I could eat the whole tray!!!

Judy B.

Yelp
This was our first time at Cedar's Restaurant. We came here for lunch and both ordered a vegetarian platter with Tabbouleh, Hummus, Baba Ghanouj, Spinach Pie, and Falafel. It was delicious, tasted fresh, and the Lebanese bread served with it fresh from the oven. We would order the same dish again although next time we will share and get a soup or another dish to share. The service was kind, attentive and good. We sat outside because of covid, unfortunately someone was smoking a cigar. We were able to keep enough space between the smoker and ourselves but it took a star off my review.

Margaret M.

Yelp
Food was fantastic especially the kibbee navarro. Service was excellent. Overall A++the owner was very pleasant. And ordered the delivery guys a cold coke
