I am beyond obsessed with Celladora, anytime I’m in Richmond you will find me here. :) Megan the owner is an absolute dear, wealth of knowledge, funny, kind. The food is explorative, fun, tasty, perfect, curious and deliiiiicious!!! An absolute must, text them for a reservation. If brunch you gotta pancake, if dinner buy a bottle, or two!!

We’ve been enjoying Megan’s spot since 2022 and recommend it to anyone. Dare I say best food in Richmond? Obviously an amazing wine selection too.

Great selection of natural wines and amazing staff to help you choose a bottle to go or to enjoy on site. Don't miss their dinner menu. They only use the freshest seasonal ingredients and everything I have tried has been absolutely delicious. Make sure to call/text to make a weekend reservation.

Wow! Such friendly service and amazing food. I loved the staff and their gracious offering of the wide selection of wines. The meals during the Thursday and Friday lunches are somewhat like tapas style or family shareables. Come here and try wines you've never had before. The fleeting aspect of not remembering what you had is what makes the meal ever more special.

Have dined at Celladora many times and can only say great things about the food, wine, and cozy atmosphere. Went yesterday for brunch and I cannot stop raving about it! The unique dishes, full of flavor, speak for themselves. Don’t miss the steak tartare, carrot salad, sirloin sliders, and for dessert, the pancake! The natural wine selection is unbeatable and the owner really knows how to talk about the wines in the most approachable way. Love this little neighborhood spot and highly recommend!

One of the most special places we saw in the area. The wine selection is great and everything we tried was special and tasty. Megan has so much knowledge about every wine, and she is so sweet!!! Food is delicious, and the atmosphere was great. We had such a good time! Highly recommend, don’t miss out!!!

Celladora is the best. The atmosphere in this little shop/restaurant combo is absolutely amazing. The owner Megan makes amazing recommendations for wine pairings. I tell her what I’m cooking and she gives me the best complementing wines. This place is also very family friendly. She has those clip on high chairs and welcomes my wife and me to bring our young daughter. Come in for glass before you go out for the night, or stay for a full meal, either way you will not be disappointed.

I really enjoyed my dining experience at Celladora! First off, I highly recommend you make a reservation because there are only 4 tables in here for dining purposes, so I felt very lucky that we were able to get in here! I was visiting Richmond so my understanding is that this is predominantly a wine shop. The vibe was cool, and overall we had great service! Our waitress was helpful and attentive. The food was pretty good and I wish I could remember exactly what we ordered haha, but I was here with two other friends and we split everything. That is definitely the way to do it so that you can try a lot of things. I really enjoyed the dips, tuna dip, and the rice/meat dish we got. I thought the fish we had was also pretty good! I believe we got a beef tartare but I didn't love that personally. I'd recommend this spot for anyone looking for a nicer date night vibe with a casual feel

Not only is Celladora my favorite wine shop, but it's also currently the best place for dinner (in my opinion). The food is inventive, fresh, and so delicious. The wine service continues to be the best and it doesn't matter who's working, the service is always spectacular. Celladora is the perfect place for a date night.

Loved everything about this charming little wine shop/small plates restaurant. The food was locally sourced and the wines delicious. They never open the same bottle again so you can try something new every time. Would like to see some more seating or outdoor seating in the warmer months but that's a minor criticism. I enjoyed talking to the server who told us about the wines.

We had a wonderful meal and wines. The reservations are done by text and the restaurant was kind to text us before we were leaving that they were running a bit behind ( so we didn't have to wait once we got there) Staff very knowledgeable about the different wines and food being served. While it is a small menu there were different choices given some of my dietary restrictions. Food was delicious and very fresh. I would rate it 9.3/10 only because the seared tuna took time to come out and was generally overcooked and the radicchio was a very bitter element in terms of flavor balance. We loved the choice of frisée for the Caesar salad and the beef tartare was outstanding with the Middle Eastern notes Will be back very soon!!!!

Great food and excellent wine selection. The service and ambiance were excellent. There is however limited seating since it is a small space and wine prices are moderate so not a place for lower priced wine shopping. Overall, great experience.

I attended a special event at Celladora a week ago, and the darling wine shop has been on my mind ever since. I loved everything about it and can't wait to return again sometime soon! Our group (Social Club RVA) had the entire space reserved with a pre-set menu and optional wine tasting. Safe to say, I opted into the tasting. Upon walking in, it was clear that so much thought had been put into the aesthetic of the space. The vibe was so welcoming, with an intimate setup of two long tables (special for the group, it's usually separated out, I believe). Megan and her team were lovely hosts, and we had a very relaxed tasting of three different natural wines (Sunset was my favorite) with explanations on each, as well as eight different food items. We started with the house-spiced nuts, which were cashews with lime leaves, lemongrass, and Thai chili. Delightful all around. I had to stop myself from over-indulging in them. We also had house-marinated olives with citrus, garlic, and dried chili. Olives are among my favorite foods and when the table almost left some behind, myself and another girl scooped up a bunch of them so they wouldn't go to waste. Once we were fully settled in at the tables, we were treated to three dips (yogurt and garlic, mahamara, and baba ganoush) with Sub Rosa flatbread. Oh, my gosh. I probably could've finished off those dips and bread singlehandedly if I wasn't with a large group. Sooooo good! I especially loved the yogurt dip. It was so cool and refreshing. For our next course, we had flounder ceviche with peppers, clementines, and cilantro. I didn't personally love this, but I am also not huge on peppers or raw fish. Others did enjoy it though. Just not my thing! After that, we had cucumber salad with Szechuan oil, cilantro, and peanuts. Loved this dish, and I'm not usually a big cucumber fan! So tasty. Once that was cleared, we had queso fundido, of which I had the bulk. People were actually going to leave the cheese behind, like come on, you can't do that! Oro's gemelli and pork larb were our last two courses. Both were a touch too spicy for me, but pretty much anything is too spicy for me, so please don't let that stop you from ordering them if they have them. All told, Celladora was the scene of one of my happiest nights of summer thus far, and I'd recommend them to anyone who wants to indulge in delightful food and great wine.

I love Celladora Wines! If you're looking for an intimate wine experience, this is the spot for you. ***LOCATION*** Located in the Fan, on Lombardy near Floyd, this cozy wine shop is a local gem. With its giant windows and limited seating, you're in for an intentional moment with tasty wines. ***EXPERIENCE*** I've been hear a few times and every time I visit I'm so happy. I think the natural lighting and people watching give me so much joy. I also love the bright colors of the water glasses. There are only four tables at this place. You're able to make a reservation by messaging them on Instagram, texting their number, or calling them. Celladora Wines is one of many local establishments that make Richmond so special. Richmond's local businesses excel at familiarity. It's like living in a small town and knowing everyone, when in reality it's a city. Places like Celladora shine at creating those relationships. I love that they only have four tables. It feels like you're really catered to as a guest here. Sometimes you might wait a little, but when it's your turn you're given undivided attention. I love that they try to give customers the chance explore different wines. It's a lot of fun to try more organic and natural wines for me! They have food here too. They also host really fun popups. You can learn more about them on their Instagram. ***PRICE*** I spent about $30 for two glasses of wine on a recent visit. ***BATHROOM*** There is a very clean and stylish single all gender restroom for guests. ***CONCLUSION*** This is an incredible spot for a first date, a girls night, those new to wine, those familiar with wine, a selfcare day, and more. I love Celladora Wines and highly recommend trying it to anyone and everyone.

Celladora is a quaint wine bar located in the fan! They have a variety of wines from regions from around the world. Celladora is very cozy with limited seating so reservations are highly recommended. They serve small plates and desserts that are very peculiar. It's a very intimate space. I would recommend this for a date night or causal outing for parties of 3 or less.

Megan and the team here are AMAZING! The food is currently our favorite in the whole city (don't miss the dips or beef tartare).

Food and service were exceptional. Very knowledgeable staff. Great selection of wines that you won't find most other places, by the bottle and glass. Rockfish cecviche was amazing; highly recommend the dips also. Small spot, definitely make a reservation.

Although the natural wines were generally not my thing they were enjoyably presented and explained. Perhaps benefitting from my first visit being during the peak of summer produce season, the food was incredible and consistently well-executed with fantastic flavor combinations. Whoever's cooking here knows what they're doing. The small plates are ideal for two couples to share around the table.

I really enjoyed my time at Celladora tonight. I've been meaning to go all year and finally had the chance to check it out. It's SO cozy inside. Perfect for a date night. I went with my two sisters to grab a bottle. The place is very small so I would recommend making reservations just to ensure seating. We sat at a table but apparently there was a reservation snafu so we were asked to move. We would've moved regardless but we were offered a free glass of wine for the inconvenience. Wow, I love good customer service. Things like that make me want to continue to patronize the business because it shows they genuinely care. They have a really good wine selection and everything is organized by regions. They also have food! Sadly, we just came from dinner so we didn't get the chance to eat but I will be definitely be back to try the food because it all smelled delicious!!

I would highly suggest that you ignore the 1 star review and go here soon! It is a very small but special wine bar and retail shop in the heart of the Fan. Megan, the owner, hand picks all of the wine from all over the world. She is passionate about bringing good wine to the community and the Fan is tremendously lucky that she decided to move there to open up this spot. She has poured her heart and soul into the business and it is very apparent if you give yourself the opportunity to experience it. The unique selection of wines are from all over the world and there's something nice for anyone's budget. And if you're not a wino like me, Megan will make sure that she figures out what your palate is and gets you what you'll enjoy. The chef is also incredible. He only works off a hot plate but manages to make some delectable foods that pair perfectly with wine. Send Celladora a request on IG and they'll reserve a table for you. This is not the place you go for quick service. It's a place you go to enjoy company and learning about wine.

After walking by Celladora several times and admiring how cute and charming it was in there, I finally made a reservation for dinner. Despite being predominately a wine shop, I was very impressed with the food. We started with the beef tartare, which was very unique compared to other restaurants in Richmond. Instead of relying on capers and olive oil, they used a really complex combination of spices to really make it taste exciting and different. I loved it. Then we had the flounder ceviche, which was refreshing, delicious, and a bit spicy! Moving onto the seared tuna -- it was cooked perfectly and the sauce was wonderful. I loved the dollop of cream to help bring a richness to the dish. The green beans were fine, but the star was definitely the tuna. Lastly, we had the pork larb, which had so much flavor! I was genuinely impressed by this dish and how sweet yet sour yet spicy it was. There were so many flavors and it was just delicious. I'm not a wine expert, but the bottle our server recommended to pair with our food was very nice. I will definitely be coming back! :)

Absolutely love this place. My wife and I were very excited when Celladora opened in the neighborhood and it's surpassed our expectations. Megan and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and have guided us in fun directions. And the food! Oh the food... it's as much of a hero as the wine. I've been a bunch of times, including renting the whole place out for a party and it's been fantastic every time. This place is a gem in Richmond.

Not one to WINE, but choosing this local shop for dinner was a POUR decision... We went to Celladora to celebrate an anniversary with our family of 4. We were seated at our reservation time and greeted with the menu explained. We were told at the beginning that one of their dinner large plates and signature desserts were sold out. We ordered one small plate and 4 dinner plates (2 pastas and 2 sesame tuna). The front staff member recommended wine and we were off to a good start. Our small plate came in a reasonable amount of time which we ate, enjoyed, and then we waited...and waited...and waited. During that time no one checked in and offered an explanation for the delay. Finally, the 2 pasta dinners arrived after an hour wait and our table members went ahead to start eating while it was hot. They slowly finished their meals and we were still waiting for the other two entrees. Still no one came to explain or offer an explanation. Finally, the staff member arrived with the meals and said, "sorry, we have a small kitchen and there was a miscommunication on meal timing". The restaurant did comp our wine to make up for the wait. We ate our meal 90 minutes after ordering, 30 minutes after the other table members received their meals, and then had the credit card scanner left on our table to pay while we were still eating. No one checked on us at all after they dropped off our meal. So the GOOD was the building ambiance and wine knowledge. The BAD was the service experience, the food delivery, and also the food itself. The small plate was excellent but the dinner entrees were so coated in garlic we could not taste any other flavors. We love garlic but the overuse in all these entrees (especially in the tuna) left an aftertaste that was overbearing and long lasting. We could tell the food was fresh and high quality but the lack of balance of flavors and innovation in ingredients was disappointing -- especially paired with the service and timing experience. While we appreciate the effort to apologize with the free bottle of wine, this is NOT a restaurant we would recommend. We were surprised by the experience due to the great reviews and sad that our celebration was not what we had hoped for. While there was food and there was wine, this was only a wine shop trying, but not succeeding, at being a restaurant.

Such a quaint and lovely spot for a glass of wine and some good food! Also a great spot to pop in for some work in the afternoon. The service is great and so is the atmosphere!!

Love love love this place! Have been here a few times now and I would recommend it to anyone & everyone. It is a very small restaurant but it it so homey and nice. The service has always been so great, the waiters & waitresses I have encountered are all very knowledgeable on the different wines and so friendly. The food here is also great. My favorite thing on the menu is their charcuterie board, which always has a new pickled veggie every time I go! My favorite thing about this place is you can describe the type of wine you are in the mood for that night and they will select a few different bottles for you based on your wants. I will absolutely continue to go here as it is my favorite place in all of Richmond.

One of my favorite places in the fan hands down! They have amazing wines at all price points, fun events and cool collabs with local chefs.

Treated very well by the owner when all tables were full. Had a tasting of 4 wines she opened up. Could not buy any as we were walking around the city but promised to come back the next day. She had 4 more wines for us to try :) Ended up with 4 bottles. Amazing place and we will be back for food and wine next time we visit Richmond.

This place is amazing the food is amazing ambiance is nice great for a date night. Service is good as well our waiter was knowledgeable on the wines that were open let us taste before we picked a wine we wanted a glass of.

Lovely little wine bar with incredible food. We loved the personal and intimate vibe, and the carefully curated wine list and menu. I highly recommend for a relaxed but upscale afternoon or evening!

Very cute wine bar recently opened in the fan. They will open wines for you to taste based on your wine preferences to make sure you get a glass/bottle of something you love. I haven't had dinner here yet, but the meat/cheese plate is excellent.

We had a wonderful experience at CW! The employees were so knowledgeable (they had great wine suggestions) and friendly and the food was delicious. It's a small intimate setting so you definitely need a reservation but it's worth planning ahead for. We had 4 in our party and shared several of the dishes. The menu is small but every dish was great.

Celladora wines was a cute little gem that we recently stumbled across. They've only been open a few months. They feature wines from a variety of regions ranging from the US to Australia. My sisters and I split a sparkling Rosè and it did not disappoint. I suggest making a reservation as the seating is limited. We didn't have reservations and were given a table and unfortunately we had to let it go. The manager was accommodating and found us a seat and also comped our bottle! Now that's service. They offer small plates and a charcuterie option as well. I left with a Spanish wine that was less than 20 dollars. Their wines range in a variety of prices.

Celladora is cute, cozy, essentially affordable, and the most satisfying way to find your next bottle of (natural) wine. Every time I've asked for help finding something I might enjoy, whoever is working there has been extremely pleasant and thoughtful in getting to know my taste and recommending me something that's new to me, but feels familiar and to their credit, is usually right up my alley. I can't recommend it enough and I promise if you make the trip to Celladora you won't want to leave, but eventually you will, and you'll likely take a delicious bottle of wine with you.

I visited this combination wine store/restaurant yesterday with 3 other family members. It has a fantastic display of wines from everywhere you can think of, and is probably best known for that feature. The person who waited on us was very pleasant. However, the restaurant has approximately 4 tables in a very small space to serve their customers. The menu is very skimpy in choices, and leans toward natural items, of which only a few are actually cooked. Most were marinated. The choices were not what you would expect to see in a really good restaurant, depending on your opinion of course. What we had was very small servings that we split between the 4 of us. They were OK but not spectacular. They charged a lot for what we got, and that included a corkage fee of $15 per bottle. The total bill for food and 2 bottles of wine was about $370 and we didn't get desert or drinks other than the wine and water. Considering that it wasn't spectacular food, that was a lot for what we got. The noise level was almost unbearable. The table next to us had 4 women seated at it who were extremely loud, and there were frequent loud noises due to metallic items clashing together, generated by the staff. It was hard to hear what people sitting right next to or across from me. All the surfaces are made of hard materials, which contributed to the noise. I would recommend Celladora for the wines, but not the restaurant.

This place is a lovely new gem for RVA. My friends had been raving about this place for months, and I definitely felt left out since I hadn't been yet! My first visit was to buy a couple bottles for a dinner I was going to. The staff was kind and let me browse, offering suggestions if I needed them. I recently met a friend there for light snacks and a couple glasses. It's so cute! We met in the late afternoon right when they opened, had two glasses of wine each and then chose a cheese and charcuterie board which came with Sub Rosa bread. The cheeses and speck were delicious. It also came with a jam, pickled vegetable and mustard. It's the perfect post-work, pre-dinner snack and wind down. We had such a lovely and chill time, and I think the size is perfect. It's nice to have some more intimate small spots in Richmond. I've heard their dinner pop ups are really fun. Hoping to be able to attend one of those, but in the meantime I'll definitely be going back and recommending it to others.

We have been here twice now, once on a Saturday afternoon for snacks and wine with friends and once on a week day afternoon to share a few glasses of wine. Megan, the owner and operator, was friendly and approachable as we chatted about wine and the menu. I enjoyed poking around and exploring the bottles. Lovely spot with great selection! Great sun in the windows!

Please ignore the one ridiculous non 5 review. A superb evening with delicious affordable wines and creative fresh small dishes. Owner was superb and incredibly patient and gracious. There really is nothing like it in RVA with comfortable, open, and hip feeling. I'm looking forward to going again and perusing the incredible boutique wine selection.

I decided to try this place after seeing it on a popular Richmond page. My plan was to have a glass of wine and purchase a bottle. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned. Upon entering the establishment, there were maybe 5 or 6 tables and wall to wall of wine. I wasn't greeted by anyone so I proceeded to walk a little further in looking for a register, bar, a place to take my order....any kind of customer service to be honest. When I didn't find anything, I spotted someone who appeared to work there, having a conversation with some customers. I asked for some direction (how to place an order, if I could sit at the empty table) she advised I had to place the order through her and to wait for her to clean the table before I sat down. She then proceeded to continue her conversation with the previous customers for another 5/10 mins. Needless to say, I left without ordering. I would rather give my money to an establishment with better customer service.
