Atmosphere is nice, not loud and the service was great. Food was delicious, we had the filet, ribeye and sides of cauliflower and potato puree. For dessert we had tiramisu, it was cake rather than your typical tiramisu.

This place truly deserves the 5 stars, we made Saturday night reservations and we're seated in a nice quiet area, although there were other parties present it was comfortable to have an initial conversation. We started with some cocktails that came reather quick and were made well and opted to try the Fritto Misto, which we both found to be very good. I opted for the surf and turf and my husband opted for the ribeye, with the a la carte options of the spinach, Mac and cheese and carrots. Everything was outstanding, cooked to perfection. We have never had Spinach made the way they presented it but it was so good that we told several family and friends about it. We had an amazing experience here and couldn't have picked a better choice when visiting.

Great place, but if Im paying 248.00 for a steak and a coke my drink should at least never go empty, unfortunately my drink was empty for most of the dinner. Steak was good, but no way it was 40oz. as Ive eaten many 40oz steaks around the country. Atmosphere was great, but its so dark you cant really read the menu in my opinion.

Came here for the first time on 7/3. The ambiance, decor and staff are amazing. The service and friendliness of the staff is second to none. The food was amazing; presented very well, and unbelievably delicious. I’d be coming here every weekend if I didn’t live 3 hours away! Thank you for the great dining experience, will be back soon.

Waiter was great. Place is pretty. Crab cake was very good. Garlic bread was good. My husband had the zuppa di pesce. He said it was very good, but he was sick all night after he had it. I had the tagliatelle bolognese and it was too salty. The chocolate mousse are was O good.

We had Rudy as our waiter and he was absolutely on point the entire night. The drinks were also fantastic. My party had the lobster vodka pasta, steak, & lobster tail. The lobster tail was the best thing hands down. The pasta was loaded with lobster which made the price somewhat worth it. However, the pasta itself lack some flavor. For $60 I would expect a better tasting pasta. I didn't try the steak but was told it hasn't bad at all. Pull apart rolls as the appetizer was pretty good as well.

Absolutely phenomenal experience from the hostess to dessert! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The staff was incredibly accommodating, polite and warm. Our server was Selena. Her service was literally perfection. Her beautiful smile, knowledge of the menu and attentiveness to making our dining experience flawless was second to none. The food was easily worthy of a 5 star rating. The steaks were a cut above, cooked to our specifications! The spicy Rigatoni Ala Vodka with Lobster was a culinary masterpiece, recommended highly. The Martini was blended so exquisitely, I had 2. My family shared the Fettuccine al Burro, perfectly prepared at our table in a cheese wheel by our waitress, further attesting to her level of professionalism. We did not eat, we truly dined. And do not miss dessert, the Chocolate Tortino is a new favorite! Cellaio is one of the best, if not the best restaurant I have ever been to. 5 stars from every angle.

I don’t even know where to start- the bread!! Dipped in the balsamic vinegar and oil, had to have more. Cocktails excellent! Food excellent! Decor, Excellent! Don’t wait, make your reservation and go. A diamond 💎 see you soon. I wish I could talk about dessert but we didn’t have room.

After a day of gambling it was the perfect place to chill out and relax and have a good meal Wasn't noisy like most restaurants and the wait staff was amazing! So courteous We all had $25 food vouchers from Resorts but we weren't made to feel like we were low life's like some places do. It was on the dark side, the perfect place for a romantic dinner. Nice little booths Our food was cooked to perfection and they were so nice acknowledging one of men with is for his birthday bringing out a piece of cake no charge with a big sparkler on it. Even though all of us were too full to order desserts We will definitely return !

We went on Sunday of a holiday weekend (11/10) when they had a private wedding in addition to regular restaurant service. We had a rocky start due to the wedding requiring much of the staff's time. 27 mins seated with no drinks or food. Manager immediately came to our rescue once we brought to their attention. Once we received food and better service, the experience begun....and WOW, it was amazing! The polenta app is a must have, the Caesar was very good (polenta was better lol), I had the pasta pomodoro and was amazed on how good regular pasta could be. Like amazing!! Had a petite filet (it was restaurant week menu) and it was cooked perfectly, didn't need anything but of course I tried a few of the sauces. Truffle au jus was my favorite. Hubby had NY strip and he felt similarly, he LOVED his steak! We ultimately had an incredible experience and planned to go back when Chef Scott Conant was there (tonight) but work commitments got in the way. We will def be back. The seating in the restaurant is warm and inviting and very upscale. We look forward to our next time there and hope we can catch it on a good night. The servers we did have were all excellent and attentive when they could be, it was just the competition with the wedding that overshadowed the restaurant guests for a period of time.

The service was very slow, we didn't see our waitress for about 30 minutes. I asked for no prosciutto in my salad as I do not eat meat, but they put it in anyway. The Salmon was very bland and without flavor and the piece was very small. My friends steak was a bit tough. They did take off the price of the salad, and bought us a round of drinks after we complained. I am generally pretty easy to please, but this was my first time there and I was very disappointed, especially for the price. The ambience is nice, however, the booths when you first come in should be facing the other way like the other booths, nobody should have to be looking into the kitchen, and one of the tables was practically in the kitchen hallway. I know this is Sullivan County, but much need of improvement in my opinion.

I love this place before covid I had dinner here every Friday. The ambiance is elegant and the service is impeccable. I only wish that some visiting this restaurant would treat it with the elegance it deserves. (No sneakers, sandals, shorts, tee shirts or jeans) Gentleman put on a shirt, ladies dress up a little. The prompt and friendliness greet from the reception desk, to the bus person to our server in this case Sam who was awesome & professional. Started my dinner with a delicious French Martini with Tito's. Kudos to the bartender it was excellent! I started with cesar's salad. Honestly, I've had better, a bit skimpy, no croutons, no shaved fresh shaved parmesan no hint of anchovies. Instead they fried the parmesan cheese & croutons & sprinkled it over salad. It wasn't bad but not to my expectations I eat out a lot. For dinner I decided on the seared scallops (5) in a light sauce with a variety of vegetables just enough to satisfy the pallet, accompanied by a light CA chardonnay. Excellent. In the past I finished my dinner & danced the night away at the grilled bar at the rear of the casino. So much fun snd a great place to meet people. I made a lot of friends during those times. I found It closed, now used for private events. Too bad.

The place is nicely decorated with upscale atmosphere - great for birthday celebration or other important occasions. Waiter is attentive & good service . However , food is very moderate tasting . We like the appetizers more than main coarse in seafood or steak .

One of the best dinners I've ever had. Went with another couple who made the reservation as we were staying the night at the hotel. We started with the meat and cheese platter which was so good. Nice fresh meats and cheeses. We then had the meatballs which were stuffed with smoke mozzarella and something else crispy on the outside. I went with the tagliatelle bolognese for dinner. They make the pasta fresh daily and the meat and sauce were so good. My wife was so happy we went. I will def come back again

Re: Dinner Reservation on December 7, 2024 I am writing to review the Alder Hotel and Cellaio Steve Conant Restaurant. I was a guest of the Alder Hotel on December 7, 2024. I reserved the hotel and made a dinner reservation at the Steakhouse for 7:30 to celebrate my brother's 50th Birthday. I am forwarding this e-mail which indicates my reservation was canceled via OPEN TABLE because it is not true. See attached photos of my brother and I seated at a table in the restaurant this past Saturday My brother and I actually arrived at the restaurant a half hour earlier than our 7:30 p.m. Dinner reservation. It appears that the restaurant staff/manager reported that our reservation was cancelled to avoid receiving a bad review. This is why I am sending this to guest services. Our Experience: I reserved a table at the Cellaio Scott Conant Steakhouse at Resorts World Catskills in New York for December 7, 2024 to celebrate my brother's 50th Birthday. We arrived a half hour early for our 7:30 p.m. reservation confirmed via Open Table. We were told to come back at 7:30 p.m. "on time" because they could not seat us earlier. We waited outside of the restaurant and checked in again at 7:30 p.m. We were told we had to wait a while longer. After about 10 to 15 minutes we were seated. Our waiter shared the specials and took our drink order within 5 to 10 minutes. We received our Sprite and Wine as well as a basket of bread. We then waited for another hour and a half and received no meal and just one visit from our waiter asking if we wanted more bread.. We declined the bread and was told the kitchen is backed up. We asked for the manager and was told several times by staff that they were sending the manager over to our table. By this time my brother was frustrated and hungry so we decided to leave because this was not a good way to celebrate the evening of his 50th Birthday. Upon exiting and attempting to pay for our drinks the manager suddenly appeared and told that we didn't have to pay for the drinks. He seemed very confused. Needless to say we received the worst service ever for a restaurant of this caliber. We are still puzzled why everyone around us appeared to come, eat and then leave and we remained seated without our food or anyone offering us anything as we waited or providing some explanation for the delay.. We had no other choice but to conclude that the waiter had an issue serving us because we are African American. The rude treatment began from the reception and continued through the exchange with the manager at our departure. We cannot give our opinion on any food because we never received it but this particular Saturday evening birthday celebration was ruined by the extremely poor customer service. The hotel staff reception at the Alder Hotel was also terrible. The staff acts like zombies and was very loud and obnoxious while checking us in. They acted as if we were bothering them... As for the birthday dinner, I took my brother to the adjacent diner where he enjoyed a steak. The staff at the diner was much better and we have no complaints about the Diner. We ate there because there were no other food options other than Chinese food... We did our best to make the most of the rest of the evening. We will never visit this Steakhouse or the Resorts World Catskills Hotel Casino again.

The best dinnner of my life. the steak melted in my mouth the service was excellent the ambiance was out of this world. I had the best time ever with my loveing careing father ever!!!

Stopped here before going to the casino. Very nice. The pomegranate martini was amazing. The fried calamari and shrimp was great it was lightly fried with a taste of tempura. The skirt steak was also good, big portion. The Mac and cheese was different but good very cheesy different pasta style. The broccoli I wasn't too crazy about, it was alil over cooked and the sauce it was dressed in was tangy. Overall the service was great, our server was very friendly and attentive and accommodating. The ambiance was beautiful

A birthday celebration to remember! I planned this trip weeks ago without even knowing this gem of a restaurant was located inside the casino. The decor and ambiance was great. Our waiter was amazing and broke down everything that interest us on the menu with honesty. I ordered the NY Strip, Brussels and Mac n cheese. My wife ordered the salmon. Everything we ordered was delicious but the bread stole the show. I know, kind of ridiculous but the bread was amazing. I also enjoyed the Brussels, very different from how I have had them in other restaurants. My wife fell in love with the Mac n Cheese, the bread crumb crunch was bomb. My wife and I have already decided that we will be returning for another go at the casino, but while we are there, we well come back to this amazing spot.

This restaurant was top notch. They treated my family like royalty and accommodated our family's needs. The food was exceptional as was the service of all the staff. Truly an exceptional dining experience.

A wonderful place to celebrate my birthday! . Very good texting communication once I had booked my reservation. The waiting lobby of the restaurant is quaint (Euphemism for small) but you can appreciate the extensive and fine wine selection. The ambience is modern and clean with dim lighting. We were promptly seated at our reservation time. The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive! All of the food was over the top amazing. Apps, salads, sides, entrees, desserts! If I had to find one negative thing, it would be that I couldn't make a reservation earlier in the day. A 24 hour casino should be able to take restaurant reservations when the restaurant isn't open. But I left a message and they called me back so I was very happy about the prompt callback. You won't be disappointed eating here! Oh, we were also bummed that Scott Conant didn't stop by to say hello! Hahaha! Maybe next time!

Located inside the Resorts World Catskills casino, Cellaio Steak is an excellent destination for a special occasion. I enjoyed the skirt steak with chichurri herbs and asparagus for dinner. For dessert, we went with the sticky banana bread pudding...my choice, but even my boyfriend, who doesn't like bananas enjoyed it. Love the booths for your own little private dining.

Wagu need was good. But the branzino was better. They also have this pull apart bread that is to die for.

My wife and I had a steak each. NY steak and a Rib Eye. For the price, the quality of the food is bad. I think they use usda choice for steaks. The worst steaks we ever had at a Steak place. Service is good when there are barely any customers but once the waiter begins serving 3 tables and up the service becomes terrible. We had to wait 15 to 25 minutes each time just to ask for something/anything. Time spent waiting for our waiter was a lot longer then the time we spent having our dinner. Any neighborhood Diner serves better steak then this place. There is no flavor whatsoever and low-quality meat considering the price.

Good service, NY Strip cooked just as I like. The Shrimp cocktail (not pictured) was very good as well. Nice dinner with the wife.

Before I begin I will say be sure to bring your big wallet lol. The restaurant was clean, the food was really delicious & very fresh. I was seated at the bar and served very quickly. The staff were all very polite and very accommodating. I was quickly served bread with a variety of sauces & an option of butter which I took. I ordered the New York Strip, Puréed Potatoes, & Roasted Cauliflower. It came with a sauce which was a bit sweet for me but overall good. The cauliflower was cooked very well with just the right amount of crunch. The steak was cooked just to my liking very juicy and tender. I looooved the potatoes, they had a broth over it and fried onions which took it to another level. I would 100% attend again.

Very nice steak house for being upstate New York (I'm from the city so I consider this steakhouse being upstate). I ordered a martini and filet mignon. It was delicious, however I do feel like my steak was my fiancés and vis versa. I ordered medium and he ordered medium rare. We think they got switch on accident. I still enjoyed it. My fiancé wished it was rarer. I came for my friends 30th birthday and the waiter came in a "surprise entrance" for singing happy birthday. There was definitely an element of surprise which was a nice touch. For desserts majority of us ordered gelato, i had an amaretto flavor which was delicious. The portion for this could of been larger. I do feel like I felt not feeling completely full. I regret not ordering an appetizer.

We enjoyed a nice dinner here last night. The service was very good: friendly, timely and helpful. My NY strip with blue cheese sauce was well worth the money and my friend enjoyed his skirt steak (I tried a bit, too- flavorful!). We were promptly seated just after 5 p.m. but it got very busy just a bit later on, so I'd make a reservation. The menu is a bit limited but I'm sure everything is quite delicious. It is also a bit pricey for the area but so is everything at the casino, so it was no surprise. Worth a special meal if you're going to the casino!

We stayed one night in Resorts World and this was a convenient location to dine. Restaurant was very nice and our server was great. The highlight of the meal was the Gnochetti Sausage Mushroom Ragu. It was to die for. We also had Chicken Scarpareilo which was also good. Portions are big so good for sharing. This would have been a 4 star review if it wasn't the Caesar Salad. The Romaine wasn't fresh. It had brown spots of a lettuce that is about to go bad. It was also pre made and came out of a fridge since it was ice cold

I was very disappointed with my last few experiences at Cellaio Steak house. The Service is good but for what you're paying for the food is, I'm sorry to say subpar. I've actually had better food at the casino's diner. I never have a problem paying high prices for food as long as it is good the ribeye steak for $71 is just a money grab IMO it's flavorless and hasn't changed since it was only $55. We ordered the broccolini to go with it and we're still trying to figure out what they flavored it with, it was mushy and pretty much unedible. We used to enjoy eating the food but it has been going down hill for a while now not worth the money you'll have to spend. It's a shame it's a really beautiful restaurant just not worth the money they are asking for to dine there.

My husband and I had a much needed night out and away which started with dinner at Cellaio. From the time we entered and throughout the entire dinner, we had nothing but stellar service. Our waiter, Tyler, was very attentive and was able to answer our questions from the wine selection to food. He made excellent recommendations and took such good care of us. The calamari was like nothing I've had before. The seasoning was melt in your mouth yummy. I had the petit file with shrimp and my husband, the skirt steak. Both were cooked exactly as we asked and expertly seasoned. I ordered the creamed spinach (my mouth is watering just thinking of it) and my husband, the pureed potatoes. Every one of the dinner items were beyond our expectations and amazingly delicious. Our waiter, Tyler, recommended the sorbets - we asked him to surprise us and he asked our preferences. The coffee and sorbets were a splendid way to close out our dinner. We both left with smiles on our faces and very happy bellies. Can't wait to go back and we will be sure to ask for Tyler.

Unfortunately, my rating hasn't changed from the last time. The service was exceptional. But the food is just ... OK. The ribeye lacked in flavor. The brussels sprouts were burnt. I had a good time there. I usually do. It's good to be with family, friends, etc. But the food is just so painfully average. You would think with the way they promote Scott Conant your taste buds are going to explode. The next time we go to Resorts we're going to eat off-property.

They have taken the amazing bread dips away! This is really why I came here! So disappointed! Why get rid of a great thing, Scott? Also, the Stromboli is gone;( steak was really dry this time! Overall, I was very dissatisfied! This WAS one of my favorite places to eat! Not now!

Amazing food, amazing service. Lovely night out great atmosphere. We go there three times a year for special occasions. It's a bit pricey.

Comfortable and relaxing date night. I have never had a complaint about service either. Every time I've come here the steak has been delicious and cooked properly. Love coming here regularly for a quality steak dinner.

The service was not up to par. I would prefer table clothes in a high priced restaurant. If you are not seated on a cushioned chair, it's very uncomfortable. In the middle of my meal, I changed my chair. The ambiance did not fit the prices on the menu but the steaks were delicious and would probably return again.

Service was excellent. The three us had three different entrees. The seared scallops, tuna tartare and the pasta Bolognese. All three were very good. The only slight knock is that I ordered an Expresso Martini and it was pretty bad. The shame is that I live that drink. But hey, It might have been an off day for the bartender though .. we all have them. So service and food five stars Bad $20 drink two stars Equals four stars I expect that the next time I go I will give the chocolate martini a try instead and they will become a Five Star review.

Cellaio is one of the best steak houses, that I have had the pleasure of enjoying. Billed as an Italian steak house, it does not fail to live up to the title (I've eaten in steak houses in Firenze, so I have tasted what I and many others believe is the best). Every plate is exquisite and delicious. When you are at Cellaio you cannot make a bad menu choice. The steaks are cooked to perfection, with hot pink centers and filled with succulent juices. Oh and do try the mac and cheese side dish, I am willing to bet you've never had mac and cheese like this before. The dish is smothered in gooey mouth watering cheese and the "mac" is a heavenly vehicle for soaking up the cheese and transporting it to your mouth. Cellaio is not the place to come and eat if you are not really hungry, or in a hurry. You have to savor the experience. The staff are warm and friendly, the atmosphere delightful, the wine list outstanding. At Cellaio everything encourages you to sit, eat, and enjoy. We eat there every trip to Resorts World in the Catskills NY, one stop and you will too.

Simply exquisite and outstanding in every way! A must try if you're in the area. Located inside the Resorts World Casino, Cellaio is such a gorgeous, luxurious restaurant with many appealing features. Before you enter, the outside of the restaurant has some displays of their aged meats and fine wines. Absolutely gorgeous! Walking in, the decor is modern, tasteful, and elegant. I knew we were in for a really wonderful dining experience as soon as we got there. We were seated at a table near the middle of the restaurant with views of the wine fridge, beautiful chandeliers, and centerpieces. We ordered some cocktails and appetizers. Wow!! All I can say is from the first sip my palate was happy! Great cocktails, beautiful frutti misto appetizer- out of this world. And we didn't even have dinner yet!! Dinner was Chef Scott's signature Pasta Al Pomodoro- cannot even begin to describe how absolutely amazing this pasta is. I'm Italian and it's the BEST pasta dish I've ever been served in my life. Meatballs with fregola- the flavors in these meatballs!! My husband had NY strip- totally mouth watering, expertly prepared. I simply cannot use enough positive adjectives to describe Cellaio. I also got to meet Chef Scott which completely made my whole year! :) I've watched him on Chopped for years. He is one of the nicest, down-to-earth, personable people I've ever met! Scott went out of his way to talk with us and check on our table a few times. It was the best dining experience- ever! Loved Cellaio so so much!

The physical space and decor is lovely. Comfortable spacious seats permit you a relatively private experience even if there are lots of other guests. The grandeur of the modern minimalist space - and the price range - gave me great expectations for my dining experience. Service was good for the time. Although ours seemed not to have answers to some of my questions about the menu (like what a listed ingredient is), and took a while to get back to my table with the answers, we can forgive this due to the current context (we also sat with dirty plates between courses for a while). Other than the slowness, the service was relatively good and attentive. (There were several tables and few staff - a problem all restaurants are facing right now understandably). I was there for a birthday and really enjoyed the detail of a lovely gelato dessert after dinner to celebrate. After the rush, service was quick and attentive. Onto the menu - it was ambitious. The first three drinks I picked from the drink list were unavailable. The food came out quickly and with a nice presentation. Obviously this is a steak house but they really have an Italian menu so I couldn't resist ordering grilled octopus. Not the worst I've ever had - not terribly over cooked but definitely bland. Bibb salad is rich and tasty. Would definitely recommend this to indulge. Our steak was small - the skirt steak, so it was easy to over cook. The sauce I asked for - the wine reduction was pretty much just wine, which made the steak kind of soggy and unpleasant. Not the best flavor combination. If I go back I would definitely try a heartier steak and a different sauce. The table got fresh warm breads with unique dipping sauces. This was a fantastic detail I really enjoyed - few places ever give a sourdough olive bread to start! So yummy. The dessert I got for my birthday was a gelato - it was amazing. I expect other desserts they offer are worth trying. All in all a pleasant experience. The food portions are generous and definitely shareable. The service is decent and the prices are typical for a casino's high end restaurant.

Just tried it for the first time this week and I love it. The entire experience was amazing and totally exceeded my expectations. The waitress made us feel like VIP's and literally checked on every aspect of our dinner. She made suggestions and gave us an alternative side so we had something different to try. They also recognized our anniversary which was totally unexpected and made our evening even more special. I will be back outside of restaurant week. So glad I gave it a chance.

I don't think I'd ever been turned down by a restaurant before the kitchen has even closed. This happened to us last night when we came in for our 9:00 reservation- I had called the hostess ahead of time to apologize and let her know we were running a tad late, as we are not from the area and were coming all the way from Plattsville area (over 1hr drive). Hostess on the phone said, "Absolutely, not a problem." HOW IS IT then that when I arrive at 9:30, hostess has gone home for the night clearly, and nobody including the grumpy bartender greets us as we walk in. Some guy from the kitchen came out and rudely said to us "You should've came earlier then, because we only do appetizers right now". I'm appalled. I work as a bartender in this industry, and especially for a place that is not open every night of the week, similar to mine, turning down business seems outrageous to me. I'll give it another try next time I'm upstate, albeit with a slightly salty taste in my mouth from this experience. Cellaio's: don't tell customers your kitchen closes at 10 when it doesn't, and people travel from very far to eat there!!!

I been coming to Celliao for 3 years. When I started dining the food was amazing everything we ordered was unique and tasty..the service is wonderful, but.. something has happened with the food.. the Caesar salad I ordered didn't have any crutons and basically a few leaves of romaine for the price I paid it was a total ripoff. The portions have been getting smaller.. the pumpkin soup was mediocre and only a few tablespoons of soup. The dips they had are gone, now, they give oil and balsamic to dip bread.. really??? The pasta I had with the meat sauces doesn't taste the way it did nor is it yellow like it was... the service is wonderful..I will be back in six weeks and if it doesn't change we'll go to the 24 dining

Looks more fancy than it is. Very expensive and everything on the menu is a la carte. If you want a salad with your entree, it's a price. A side? $$ My salmon came lonely on the plate, no rice (they don't have rice). $28 bucks! It did have an edible garnish though (arugula yuk). The service was really good though and the salmon was delicious.

This place looks the part, but does not deliver when it comes to good food. We had to wait a half an hour for a table in an establishment that was mostly empty after 9pm. Made no sense, but we were given the last seating time and sat at the bar till they were ready. We order 2 expresso martinis and we both received some of the worst drinks weve ever had. So we understood that the bartenders were probably better at making drinks that were probably ordered more routinely, so we ordered a gin and tonic and I got a shots from there on out. Spent 20$ expresso martinis were that bad? We were waiting for so long, and no one bothered to tell us if our table was ready. We had to go an ask and they were like, oh yeah something is available. That being said the service people at the front and the servers were very polite and helpful. We ordered a salad, a chicken dish and scallops. Salad was drenched in dressing and was ok. Chicken was so dry. Scallops barely had any taste. Subpar food experience and complete was of money to go here.

We decided to return to this place for my husbands birthday...as we did exactly a year ago. He loves steak and we both enjoyed it here! This is coming from NYC where we know we can be spoiled with all of it.... My critique stems from the bar. We were early for our reservation so my partner really wanted to have a nice cocktail before dinner...I told him order whatever and in truth, we were both being indecisive but agreed on Dirty Martinis.....what could go wrong? Apparently....everything? I think maybe....it would come down to bad olives. They tasted funny and although we brought the drinks to the table....we never drank them. I ended up spitting the olive I did try to eat, out. Other than that....food and service was great. We both had a glass of wine and a little dessert...which were lovely After we paid the bill I told our server what had happened. He seemed a tad concerned....although when we ordered the drinks initially everyone was busy or preoccupied with their own personal lives. I told them after the fact but when we got back to our room I ended up getting pretty sick. Again, I don't think it was the food but something about the olives sat really wrong with me. It's honestly my fault for not speaking up sooner...I just really didn't want to be an ass....but in hindsight, I wish I did. Olives can go bad fast and grow bacteria if left out....which is probably what happened. Word of advice: Stick to wine, and beer! And the food and dessert were great. Just....Do not....order anything with olives....or cocktails in general....just my advice. Maybe highballs, neat pours, and wine and champagne? Oh! Best Caesar Salad we've ever had!

Best meal in the area. Service was perfect. Polenta was astonishingly good and the spaghetti was a lesson in Joe the simplest dishes are elevated by high quality ingredients.

For a restaurant with such great food, they have really poor service. Let's just get that out of the way right off the start. The hostess was phenomenal, our waiter was the pits. We ordered drinks and actually had to retrieve them ourselves from the bar because he didn't come back for 15+ minutes. Service was slow and inattentive the whole night. BUT THE FOOD! The food is exquisite! We had the shrimp cocktail, ribeye, strip steak, baked potato, carrots and the Brussels. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the sauce accompaniments were spot on, the sides were delicious and definitely shareable. The drinks were well made by the bartender as well. We opted out of dessert due to the slow nature of the service and wanting to get on with the rest of our night.

Any time we stay at Resorts we make sure to make a reservation at Cellaio Steak because we are huge fans of Scott's and every since we ate there the first time we were completely hooked . Even with all the Covid restrictions we were so comfortable and felt completely as ease dining there . We were greeted by a masked server which was a huge plus , all tables were more then 6 feet apart and the Menus were all printed paper that is disposed of as soon as your done using them to not risk Covid spread . So we ordered the salami stramboli as an appetizer and for our main course my husband got the king crab legs and I ordered the veal parmigiana and we got a baked potato as a side plate . Every bite was more delicious then the last . Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned perfectly. Being huge fans we will definitely be back and can't wait for the next time !!! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone .

Amazing! Wish I could give Cellaio Steak ten stars. My wife and I dined there last night with another couple. We all agreed it was one of our top 5 dining experiences of all time. Scott Conant's signature Spaghetti al Pomodoro was absolutely stunning. The polenta....life changing. NY Strip and the Filet were remarkable. Cocktails were spot on. I'm running out of adjectives to describe how great an evening we had. Shout out to Sam, our server. Thanks again!

Had a great meal here , the food was excellent, servers very nice, and the cocktails were perfect. Make sure to have the spaghetti pomodoro, the polenta, and the stromboli bread. We also got the veal parmesan which will be the best you ever had.

This was the highest rated restaurant at Resorts World, so I opted to dine here for my 38th bday. We had a fantastic dining experience here. We skipped the appetizers and decided to go straight to the entrees. I ordered a NY strip with abaked potato. My hubs ordered the salmon and creamed spinach. My strip was seasoned and cooked to perfection as was my baked potato. Everything was bursting with flavor. My hubs devoured his salmon and creamed spinach. We liked our entrees so much that we decided we must try dessert. He had the salted caramel boudin and I mango and blueberry sorbet. The desserts were a hit. I would have liked to have a latte with my dessert, but the restaurant didn't have any soy milk. No worries, that's what Starbucks is for (I plan to head there after we wrap up out visit here). Overall, we felt that Cellaio was a HIT and after trying Double Tap and the food court (which were HORRIBLE), we realized that ALL of our meals should have been at Cellaio.

Beautifully decorated and charming, Cellaio offers the Las Vegas experience for the convenience of upstate New York. The menu is winnowed but appeasing to anyone who graces its presence. Our first impression began with a private seating towards the rear of the restaurant. After choosing our desired water (flat, tap or sparkling) we were immediately presented with a bottle of champagne in celebration of my wife and I's anniversary. Our waiter Tyler cheers to our occasion and then began his explanation of both the restaurant and the Chopped Chief Scott Conants inspiration behind the menu. Tyler was very open to our questions and gave us top tier suggestions that were extraordinarily on point. Our food coma began with the standard bread display offering several dipping sauces each more lovely then the next. We followed this with the order of Polenta Boscaio which delighted our palettes but fired us up for the main course. The polenta was cooked perfectly and the flavors were unmatched. Both of us decided with the special cut of the night a 36 day aged NY strip accompanied by a side of Sautéed cauliflower adorned in onion strings and crispy pancetta. The steak: rubbed only with a mix of truffle salt and pepper was cooked perfectly, the only way to eat a steak... medium rare. I can not express the flavor of this steak, and as a frequent dweller of steakhouses this was by far one of the best if not the best cuts I've ever had. Peter Lugers, Morton's, Ruth Chris, Rothmans...I've had them all and i don't know what they did to this steer but the meat, texture and flavor sold me on whatever they were going to charge me. The cauliflower was also great but the polenta/bread filled us up and so I focused more on the star of the meal then the vegetables...sorry Mom. Anyway we continued to desert but treaded lightly knowing our stomachs could only hold so much. Tyler suggested the house made sorbet which included some very eclectic flavors such as jasmine mint, elderberry lavender and others all of which Tyler gave his personal experience of each. We chose the lavender and it was truly the perfect ending to the meal. I also ordered a Tea which was also a upscale brand, loose fitting in a silk sachet. There is nothing worse then shitty tea or coffee after a meal and luckily this was not the case. Our experience was Truly memorable, the prices fair, about 100 per person with a 3 course meal plus drinks and the knowledge of a returning customer. Tyler was a standup waiter, and due to his professionalism created the upscale Las Vegas ambiance one would expect. Lastly the dress code was not enforced but I do expect that to change soon...don't wear shorts to a steakhouse you putzt. Thanks for reading.
