All the food is good. From the soy sauce Brussels to the avocado rice. BUT if you get anything.. let it be the crispy pork belly bao buns! They are the star of the show. The drinks are good too but I feel like they're just for show. The only one that gives me a bit of a buzz is "Lost at Sea". Drink 3 of those and your good. For Dessert I had the banana bread with chocolate gelato....sinfully good. On the pricey side but worth it.

We moved out of the city, but we still come back just for Cellar 335 — it’s that good! The drinks are so fun and creative. The food is amazing and flavorful, beautifully presented, and always fresh. The atmosphere is lively and unique, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of our favorite spots in Jersey City!

Cellar 335 is a hidden gem with a vibrant tiki vibe and an impressive menu that delivers on flavor. We started with charred edamame, tender chicken skewers, and a fresh, flavorful tuna tartare—each dish bursting with bold, balanced tastes. For mains, the drunken noodles had the perfect kick, the chicken tikka masala was rich and comforting, and the avocado rice added a unique, satisfying twist. We ended on a sweet high with the velvety espresso mousse and moist banana cake. Every bite was delicious, and the atmosphere made it even better. A must-visit spot for fun cocktails and memorable bites!

Went here last night for a Christmas themed experience and got anything but. First off one of the two drinks we ordered was 80% ice and no liquid. Not even a lack of alcohol, just no liquid period. Not to mention it was a Christmas themed experience and it came in a regular mug with a black straw when every other table around did not have that. At the very least a candy cane straw haha. The other drink was well made. The food came quickly, but the bulgogi was undercooked and inedible, the edamame was more burnt then seasoned, and the fried rice was freezing. Not to mention we added chicken to the fried rice and they put about 4 bite size pieces. On the plus side, the bao bun ribs were very good, properly cooked and the bao buns were delicious. But everything else including an 18 dollar drink that had three sips worth of liquid made the experience terrible. The price was $150 and we left hungry, still wanting proper drinks, and extremely dissatisfied that we wasted money. $150 can get you a proper dinner anywhere else which is what I would recommend you do. Also the server was a sweetheart. It wasn’t her fault the food was poorly prepared and the drink was all ice no liquid.

This place has a warm and cozy atmosphere, making it a great spot for a casual date night. The Grilled Chicken Satay came as four skewers of chicken breast, and while it was a bit dry on its own, the peanut sauce really brought it to life. The Korean-style wings stole the show—crispy, slightly sweet, and topped with sesame seeds for an extra pop of flavor. While the food portions are on the smaller side, the quality and presentation make up for it. I also tried the Foam Dead Flowers IPA, which was light, subtly sweet, and a great pairing with the meal. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with friendly service, good drinks, and flavorful bites, this is a solid choice—especially for a date night!

I love the decor, creative menu and excellent service at Cellar 335. My favorite dish was the delicious Masala meatballs.

This is a great place for a once in a while splurge for Tiki bar aficionados. It is especially amazing to come around Christmas time! The food is good, and they do accommodate gluten free! We're torn on the price vs servings of a large format drink.

We had such an amazing time when we went there on our special date night. The atmosphere of this place is just fantastic, and I absolutely love it. Just a small tip, make sure to make reservations at least 2-3 weeks in advance to secure your spot. When we arrived, we were a bit early, so we decided to grab a seat at the bar. The bar itself is beautiful, and the bartender was incredibly friendly. After a short while, we were seated at our table, and our server seemed okay at first. However, they were a bit slow, but we understood because the place was quite busy. We started off by ordering some appetizers and drinks. The appetizers came out promptly, but right before our main course, our server brought us our cocktails. Ideally, cocktails should be served with the appetizers, not right before the main course. The menu had limited vegetarian options, but unfortunately, our server wasn't very knowledgeable about what could be made vegetarian. However, despite that, we really enjoyed our entrees, and they were generously portioned. The food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. Overall, if you're planning to visit on a weekend, I'd highly recommend making a reservation at least two weeks in advance. The food was definitely a highlight, but the service was just average and not as accommodating as we would have liked based on our experience.

Tucked away in Jersey City you will find Cellar 335. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a vibrant tiki bar. We were dinning at the restaurant. The restaurant was packed! I would highly recommend making a reservation on the weekends. The menu was interesting and covered several pan Asian classics. There were several interesting twists to classic dishes. We tried the short rib scallion pancake, drunken noodles, "tiki masala" meatballs and the crispy pork Baos. It was a lot of food and everything was delicious. The meatballs were twist on the chicken masala. If you like chicken tikka masala, this one is for you. The scallion pancake was more of a wrap. The meat was very well charred. The Bao was great for sharing. The crispy pork was delicious. The drunken noodles were perfectly stir fried. We tried a few of their tiki drinks and they did not disappoint. They have larger shareable drinks they set on fire and make for great fun videos.

We found parking nearby and walked over to Madame first their sister lounge for a predinner drink. The bartender and staff was so nice and Madame was great. Then we got to Cellar 335 and were seated in a booth in the back. The lighting and ambience was cool but secluded. The server was awesome he gave us many pointers and his honest opinions. The cornbread was chincy we were expecting two for that price but only one came out. We shared the cellar fries which were good with the bacon on the side. I ordered avocado fried rice and my friend the fried chicken bao buns. She was unimpressed as was I - it lacked depth and flavor. When we walked past the kitchen I saw that there was a huge old cold batch of fried rice they kept to heat up, so it wasn't really fresh. Disappointing. My drink was tart and strong.

Cellar pretty cool for date night. Great vibes, good food and pretty stellar service. We went on a pretty packed night and we didn't have to wait long. Only criticism is that they send the food out too fast. We got apps drinks and main all the same time ‍

Cool spot on the far end of Newark. Vibe was fun, music a bit too loud for a conversation with a large group. We enjoyed everything we had, although the fried rice could have used some heat to it. The cocktails were excellent. Service was the only reason they did not get 5 stars. It was just bad service. Slow. Inattentive.

I went to Cellar 335 years ago and finally made it back around the holidays and honestly it was just as amazing as we remembered.. if not better. The energy in this place is unmatched. From the second you walk in you're surrounded by vibrant lights, festive decor and a cozy but lively atmosphere that feels like a year round party. Their holiday themed cocktails were not only super cute but so delicious. Each drink came out in an adorable mug and the garnishes were over the top in the best way. The bar staff and manager were so friendly and helpful and gave really spectacular recommendations. The food was also incredible. Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and beautifully plated. We tried a mix of small bites and entrees from the crispy edamame to the flavorful tikka meatballs and that show stopping flaming punch bowl at the bar. Nothing was left to take home.

We had an incredible date night at Cellar 335, an underground tiki cocktail lounge in Jersey City. Came here for dinner Friday night with another couple and we had lots of fun! It's decorated like a tiki bar and the drinks come in fun tropical/tiki glasses. The waiters are also super friendly. Food wise, everything we ordered was delicious. Their menu is tapas and bao platters, and they are not stingy with their portions. We ordered the salmon tartare crispy rice, Korean soy garlic wings, pork and kimchi fried rice, duck bao and pork belly bao. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate mousse and ube cannoli. I was pleasantly surprised at how well balanced their Asian fusion flavors were. For drinks, they have fun tropical cocktails including 2 large format drinks that serve 2-4. They also have a full bar where you can order well drinks. Overall, I enjoyed our dinner here and would come back to try more dishes!

We had a Wednesday evening reservation but they weren't busy at all. I started off with the Smoldering Bastard which was light, fruity, and not too sweet. While we each ordered our drinks, our waiter described what it would taste like which helped a lot considering they have a lot of unique drinks and flavor profiles. As for the appetizers, the highlights were the Charred Edamame and Grilled Chicken Satay. The Charred Edamame was unbelievably addicting and I have never seen edamame offered like this at a restaurant - highly recommend getting it for the table. For entrees, the must order is the Short Rib Bao Down. The bao buns are nice and pillowy, the short rib was super tender and the flavors were a beautiful sweet/savory balance. I loved all the toppings it came with and the spicy mayo took each bite to the next level. The Avocado Fried Rice was a good try and nice to get if you want a carb on the table to go with other protein dishes. We ended off on the Ube Cannolis which were sweet, creamy, but light on ube flavor. A unique dessert nonetheless. Solid dinner experience at Cellar 335; worth trying if you're in the JC area.

Really good restaurant. The vibes are always very chill and it's def a busy place on most nights I've been (I've been twice; on a Friday night and Saturday night) - def go with a reservation cause I've seen people waiting both times. Service was pretty good. Everything was fine except on the most recent visit, it felt like the waiter stopped visiting our table after he asked us if we wanted a refill of our beverages. When we said no, he literally checked on the two tables on both sides of us multiple times until I had to flag him down. Mind you, our plates were pushed away from us and we were done. I also see how busy it was so this is me being super nit picky. Outside of that, he was great. Just something to mention as an observation. Food: Kimchi Fried Rice: 10/10 Wings (Maple Chipotle): 7/10 Pork Belly Bao Dish: 10/10 Ribeye Bulgogi: 6/10 The cocktails tend to be very fruity and sweet so I now stick to drinks neat or Prosecco. Even the wine I got last time felt like a light pour. Will for sure be back for the bao and rice!

Such a fun and filling dinner at Cellar 335! I came here years ago and really enjoyed it and once I saw they decorated for Christmas I had to revisit. Upon walking in, I was shocked that the decor was even prettier in person! I was also shocked the times weren't as booked as other places because this spot has good food and drinks. My party of 5 came at 5:15pm on a week day and it wasn't packed until after 7pm. Our server was super nice, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu enough to help us. My mom and sister had the Smoldering Bastard and I had Gin-Gle All The Way. I was scared it would be too ginger-y but the other ingredients blended in perfectly that it wasn't overwhelming. Did I mention they come in the cutest big mugs?! We decided to share a few apps. We ordered the Korean style wings, BBQ Short Ribs, and fries (which were wedges). The star to us was the short ribs. So much so that we ordered another plate. Everything had so much flavor. It was great! I'll definitely be back.

such a fun restaurant!!! came here for my birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. drinks were strong and came in fun glasses. our table had 4 people and we ordered the spicy cornbread, kimchi fried rice, korean style wings w maple chipotle, tiki masala meatballs, tuna tartare, and the short rib bao buns. the only disappointing things were the spicy cornbread (it was tiny) and the tiki masala meatballs. while the meatballs were great, everything else was so amazing that i would not order them again so i could have more of the rest! the kimchi fried rice had so much flavor with the pulled pork. the wings w maple chipotle had the perfect light crunch and slight spice. the tuna tartare tasted very fresh. the short rib bao buns were perfection. the meat pulled apart perfectly and the sauces added a lot of flavor. clearly we enjoyed the meal because i stopped taking pictures after the first course (wings) came out. the vibe was great. the tiki atmosphere was very fun. it was pretty loud so keep that in mind when deciding who to come here with. our waitress was very nice and helped us pick dishes.

3 stars...We came here with a few good friends and Cellar 335 came highly recommended. I wanted to love the restaurant although there were a few things that made me give them less stars than I wanted to. The restaurant gets packed, it has a great vibe, good crowd, friendly employees, good tasting food and the prices were fair. There is a large bar and the decorations for Christmas were well done. The waiter provided some great recommendations and details on all the dishes. We started with a few appetizers which were all great! We had the Korean style chicken wings, the cucumber salad, the tuna tarte and the peppered beef. For main courses we ordered two orders of the Branzino, one order of the Scottish Salmon and one of the drunken noodles. All the dishes were served at the correct temperature, were well presented and had excellent flavor. For dessert we had the Banana bread with chocolate gelato, the passion fruit Panna Cotta and the chocolate cake. We also had a few drinks called the shouldering bastard which is their take on a Moscow mule. I have to point out the few negatives as they will definitely impact any decision of coming back in the future. If you go through the hundreds of reviews I've written as an Elite Yelper I try to stay focused on the positives and try to promote the business. The most noticeable was that the dishes came out at completely different times. We shared a number of appetizers although they were several minutes apart. I you are going to do that, consult the customer and ask them if that will work. The main courses were the worst. The drunken noodles came out, and about 8 minutes later the two Branzino enteees came out. Then about 5 minutes later the Scottish Salmon came out. I offered up my drunken noodles to everyone as I did not want to start without them. The other part that I was not aware of was a time limit on the table. I did not make the reservation so the main party may have been aware. This has been something many restaurants implemented during COVID and have kept it in place. Sometimes you can't put profits ahead of customer satisfaction and repeat business. There is usually more profits in alcohol and we probably would have ordered at least one more round of drinks and not stayed more than 30 minutes. The waiter took a while to ask about deserts, we could not get tea or coffee as I think their machine was broken. When I drive this far I would like tine to relax, digest my food and let any alcohol pass through my system before driving again. We each drove at least one hour to get there. A few from Oakland NJ and some from Brooklyn NY. We felt rushed at the end which was disappointing. Overall nice night, I would recommend them if you are ok with the time limits.

My partner and I have been here twice. The #1 reason we came back was for the wings! What a crunch! It's a must have item. In addition to the wings, between both visits we also tried the cornbread, Bao Buns (Pork Shank and Pork Belly), Shrimp Pasta (special) and the Rib-eye Bulgogi. The food is rich in flavor and the portions are definitely made for sharing. We probably could have ordered an appetizer and one entree for both of us but we like trying new things so we packed up our tasty leftovers and enjoyed them the following day. Drink: The Smoldering Bastard: This is very ginger forward! If you love ginger this is for you. I didn't love it but it's not a bad drink. Seating: not the most comfortable for parties or two if you are a little on the thicker side. Service: Very attentive! Our server was excellent and offered great suggestions. Vibe: Great for a drink at the bar or an amazing meal!

Generous portion of small plates with interesting combinations and flavors. We tried the Korean chicken wings, salmon tartare on crispy rice, pork knuckle with bao, the drunken noodle, and ended with a dark chocolate dessert. Some of the dishes like the knuckle were a little too strong flavored to our liking. The setting and the music were funky.

Went here on NYE for an early dose of drinks and apps. Drinks Smoldering bastard- gingery and tingly. Best of the lot!! Mai tai- strong toward the end, otherwise a regular Mai tai Kringle on Kingston- average. Tasted different than first two but not my favorite Fighting five- very similar to smoldering bastard overall a good drink with a spicy touch. Food Charred edamame- ordered twice. I'll keep you honest- I chose this place just for their edamame! Charred to perfection with right amount of salt and lime! Avocado fried rice- actual fried rice with sautéed veggies and a big spoon of tasty avacado on top- delicious! Korean wings- average of the lot. But would definitely order again because it goes good with the tiki drinks. Service was great and vibe was christmasy.

Cellar 335 is a tiki bar taking Asian influences and mixing them with an American style menu. The place is decorated in a tiki and island themed and creates a great environment. The places gets quite load so beware. It isn't a great spot for a date but definitely a great spot to go out with friends. The food was delicious I highly recommend the Korean style wings marinated in a garlic soy sauce. Created a great sweetness to the wings. We also got the drunken noodles. Served with chicken, tomato, basil. Service was great at the bar serving great and strong tiki drinks. Definitely a spot I will go back to again.

This is always a fun time, their tiki drinks are also interesting, delicious, and just fun. Definitely come during Christmas because they redecorate the whole place and have holiday themed mugs/drinks. The food is always good, great for splinting. Most of the menu is Thai / Asian influenced. To start we got spicy salmon over crispy rice (great texture contrast between the crunch of the rice and soft salmon). Next was drunken noodz which were cooked perfectly and coated in a delicious sauce. Lastly we got duck bao buns, in which the buns were super pillowy , but the duck was a bit chewy and over cooked.

A great tiki bar tucked away in an unsuspecting building. Beautifully hand crafted drinks with very yummy food. Service was attentive. The Spicy cornbread had such a yummy smoked flavor - the honey-togarashi butter was amazing. Charred edamame had a nice burn. Really a fun vibe throughout - feel like a hidden tropical oasis in the concrete jungle.

it is one of my favorite spots in Jersey City spots! The walk down to the restaurant is deceiving, the venue is large with tiki bar aesthetic. The drinks are immaculate and blend of flavorful but not shy with alcohol. My personal favorite is the Smoldering Bastard. The food is all very good. I literally try something new every time I'm here. The spicy cornbread, tiki meatballs, any bao options, crisy rice appetizer, and cucumber salad are some of the best on the menu. The experience is worth ever penny.

I was so excited to visit Cellar 335 again as the last time I visited was years ago, and I mean years! I made a reservation for Thursday evening, and it wasn't too crowded, it was perfect. My friend and I started off with our drinks which I really wish I remembered the names of. I believe it was Lost at Sea and Saturn. The drinks were worth it, they come well presented and pack a punch! Since we were really hungry, we decided to order the large-format bao bun meal which is meant for more than one person (LOL) but we figured we could take some home. I ordered the crispy tofu and my friend ordered the fried chicken. IT WAS DELICIOUS! We even have some to take home too because I had to have my sister try it. Our waiter was super attentive and answered any questions we had. The ambience is beautiful, it's dimly lit and I love the decor. The bar area is gorgeous. Sometimes they even have specials on the weekdays. Cellar 335 is definitely a Jersey City gem. Make sure you make a reservation and check them out! P.S. parking sucks, it's Jersey City so if you're driving, make sure you leave enough time to find parking!

Cellar 335 is beyond well worth the headache of driving to and finding parking in Jersey City (if you know, you know). You walk downstairs (hence the name) to a dimly lit but vibrant with artwork and spacious restaurant. The music doesn't match the restaurant, as it was American oldies and movie soundtrack tunes playing. At least it's at a level where you can hear whoever you're dining with. For drinks, I had Missed the Boat (pineapple, cinnamon, passion fruit, ginger, allspice, and rum. Literally the perfect drink. Everything was exceptionally balanced and strong enough that I was happy ordering just one. My girlfriend ordered the Happy Harbor (grapefruit, cinnamon, sherry, allspice, and bourbon), which she enjoyed but as much as mine. For starters, we ordered the Maple Chipotle wings and Salmon Tartar and Crispy Rice. The wings were exceptional. With every bite the crunch and flavors jumped off the table. I contemplated ordering a 2nd helping. You can tell how much pride they take in making their drinks and food here. The salmon and crispy rice were flavorful as well. We both ordered bao buns for dinner, as I got the pork shank and she got the crispy duck. You get 8 buns, a side of vegetables or kimchi, and your meat in a separate dish with sauces. I appreciated the fact that you get to make your buns, which was unique to me. The pork shank was fall off the bone tender, and the white bbq sauce complimented it nicely. The duck was delicious but it shouldn't be called crispy. The food and drinks came out at reasonable times, and our server and busboy were pleasant all night. We look forward to future visits.

We stopped into Cellar 335 again the other day, after a dinner at its connected sister restaurant, Madame. At that point in the evening, I was done with cocktails, but tried a small sip of the Big Iron, a blend of cola, vanilla, mandarin, cherry, rum, and cachaca. The tiki-style drink tasted like a mix of Cherry and Vanilla Coke varieties, so it was good, but sweet. I did, however, initiate the ordering of the Spicy Cornbread for a sort of dessert. The treat was on the drier side and had a subtle hint of spice. It was topped with a small disc of firm, honey-Togarashi butter, which needed to be manually incorporated into the pastry, ensuring that the amount was to our liking. It was fine, but like other food we had had there in the past, just mediocre. While I loved the vibe and happening crowd at the creative Cellar 335, I felt like they could really improve their food.

What a hoot! This restaurant looks like a tiki bar inside; they complete the bins with their fun drink menu and surf music playing. I came by with a couple of friends pretty early on a weekend. We were seated quickly and our server was really sweet. We asked about Non-alcoholic beverages, and she said they could make any of their cocktails without booze. But, so many drinks have flavored liquors, so I can't imagine the N/A version of any of their drinks would be good; we agreed it would be super if they had a Mocktail menu to accompany their current Alcoholic one. Their food menu was pretty great and their portions were larger than expected (appetizers are actually shareable); I tried the Bok Choy with mushroom appetizer and thoroughly enjoyed it. My main was the Roasted Scottish Salmon with veggies. It had pretty amazing flavors and I really enjoyed it! It would be fun to come back and really tiki it up!

The food is great and fairly unique for the area. The menu is all shareable plates which is nice for a group, but can get pricey quickly. The drinks come in fun containers. We came during the holiday season, so the whole place is festively decorated. The only complaint was the noise; it was a packed night and we had to speak up to hear each other across the table.

Best bao buns!!! Randomly stumbled upon this place while on a trip and so glad we did. We had the short rib bao buns and they were amazing. Can't wait to come back. The ambiance was dark while still laid back and nice. Definitely recommended.

I tried: + Shipwrerrrrecked cocktail + Dead man walking cocktail + Smoldering bastard + Spicy cornbread + bao down - crispy pork belly + Confit duck legs and scallion pancakes + Avocado rice + Chinese broccoli + shrimp and garlic + Cellar fries + Salmon Sushi special + Ube cheesecake cannoli + Passionfruit panna cotta My favorite cocktail was the shipwrecked, though the dead man walking was also awesome. Standout food was the confit pancakes, avocado rice and my fave - the ube cannoli. Runners-up were the spicy cornbread, pork belly bao, shrimp and garlic, salmon special and panna cotta. Make a reservation if possible!

This place is the absolute most amazing restaurant I've ever been to in my entire life! From the food to the service to the decoration and ambiance I love everything about it. I will 1000% be back here again and again and again! I went here for my friends birthday in December it was Christmas themed from the decor to the drinks! It was super busy and our waitress did not miss a beat. The food was to die for! Most things are shareable making it much easier to order and try everything. Everything was 5 star worthy! The service was phenomenal. Our waitress was attentive and friendly and explained all the specials clearly. She let us taste their frozen drink which was absolutely delicious. Great experience will be returning.

Cellar 335 gave aesthetics - Tiki Bar meets a sultry, dimly lit lounge. The place was buzzing, the smells of food around us enchanting, and the look of the drinks super tempting. After an evening of drinking with friends, we went to Cellar 335 for a nice meal and a couple of cold beers. For food, we ordered: Spicy Cornbread (5/5) - want to dock a point (but won't) for it being a bit too small in size but we remediated by ordering extras. The fact that we wanted more of this is testament to how enjoyable this was. The cornbread itself could do with little lesser sweetness given the exquisite togarashi honey butter. Nonetheless, we ordered seconds, so we clearly enjoyed this. Drunken Chicken Noodle (4/5) - delicious, simple, clean. Nothing to fault, however, not memorable for me. Fried Chicken Bao (5/5) - soft baos, crispy fried chicken, pickled veggies - this is what a perfect shareable platter looks like. It could do with more of the sauce that the chicken was doused in but absolutely enjoyed this on a night of beers. Afterall, beers and fried chicken - match made in heaven. And for desserts, Passion fruit Panna Cotta (5/5) - subtle, elegant flavors in the panna cotta itself and the dollop of ice cream and coconut crunch on top. What is there to fault? Absolutely how delicious and a great finisher. Ube Cheesecake Cannoli (4/5) - +1 for the accompanying mango sorbet. On its own, the Ube Cheesecake Cannoli was average. The real hero here was the sorbet. Great service, great food, great drinks, great vibes.

This place has such a fun vibe! I came here for a birthday party on a Wednesday around 6:15 and it was pretty quiet. So if you don't like crowds, come early because this place fills up. The servers were very friendly. For a drink, I got the Pole Star and I loved it. I would recommend if you like lime and passion fruit. For meals, we had: Garlic Shrimp: absolutely delicious. I am definitely getting this again if I come back. Tuna Tartare: also another hit. I think this was my favorite. Really fresh and flavorful. Spicy Cornbread: loved it.

Delicious food and drinks, great atmosphere and service. If you come here, be sure to order the spicy cornbread and ask for extra because it's very tasty and the portions are small. The duck with onion pancakes is simply amazing, and the portion is very large.

Celebrated my daughter's birthday here last Thursday. Parking was a nightmare , but the service was excellent , warm, friendly, helpful. Food was tasty with good portions . I like the avocado rice with shrimp& chicken - yum!!!

Sooooo good. Super tasty, sooooo filling. Drinks are pretty strong and tested like it too. Music was loud af, could barely hear my friends speak. So many good menu items, will be back to try more. Service was slow though, but it's fineeeee

Hello again everyone back again with another review. Quick backstory, I had this place on my "food list" for a few years but never went. Tried to a couple of times but they wouldn't seat us and that was cool. So I just made reservations so we won't get turned away again. Soon as I seen the Duck, I knew I had to get it. It was melt in your mouth tender and I enjoyed every minute of it. I think they're going for a Tikki bar I guess. I do want to go back and try the Bao buns.

Came here for a work dinner and liked that everyone was able to try different items since all dishes were prepared for sharing. The cocktails were also well received by the table. The atmosphere was great and not so busy on a Tuesday night.

I was excited to try this place because the reviews are great, but I was truly disappointed. Everything on the menu sounds amazing, but there are only 1 or 2 dishes that are good and the majority of the dishes were just so incredibly salty. For our appetizers, we got the Szechuan Cauliflower, Korean Style Wings (Maple Chipotle) & Salmon Tartar & Cripsy Rice. The wings were good and had a pretty unique flavor. The salmon tartar wasn't anything special and the szechuan cauliflower tasted good on the 1st few bites and then immediately got way too salty. For our mains, we got the Shrimp & Garlic and Drunken Chicken Noodles. The shrimp & garlic was probably the dish we enjoyed the most. The drunken noodles tasted and looked NOTHING like drunken noodles so not sure what was going on there. It was also sooo saucy/salty. I'm a huge sauce gal but I found myself wanting less sauce here which never happens. The crazy thing is that we took home the leftovers and added more carbs and it was STILL too salty. This is just one of those places that leaves you feely a little gross/unwell after all the sodium you just took in. The place is cute/aesthetic but the service was also whack. Our waitress gave us our dessert menu within 30 minutes of being seated and was checking if we wanted to order dessert when we didn't even receive our main dishes yet. Maybe an honest mistake, but it felt pretty disorganized.

I came here on a first date and may I say I would definitely come back. We chose this place because we heard great things and decided to check it out. The set up was very interesting and not something I've seen too often at restaurants; it was very dark inside but the energy from the workers made the place seem live. To start, we ordered a few drinks (strong) and they were really good and then ordered the fries as the appetizer, which were amazing. Then, I ordered the avocado bowl as an entree.. wow it was so good and filling (I barely finished my plate). The pricing was very reasonable and the service was great. I'd definitely come back for a second outing.

Had a great time here! The decor was very modern and sleek, yet with a tropical feel. It gets packed here so I suggest booking reservations, especially on the weekends. The drinks were fun, fruity and strong. Try the surfing lava if you want a smoky, berry and bold mix. The tropical princess was refreshing w/ pineapple flavors. My only suggestion would be to lessen the ice on the drinks. For appetizers we had the spicy cornbread and cellar fries. The cornbread was savory with a bit of kick. It's served in a small portion, good for one person. The cellar fries are wedge cut with cheesy goodness, bacon and scallions. The Korean style chicken wings were tangy, sweet and spicy. The Kimchi fried rice was perfectly spicy and loaded with flavor. The table's favorite item was unanimous...Crispy pork belly (1st place) and short rib bao buns were both savory and mouth watering. Service was great, our waiter kept checking in us if we needed anything, and refilling our water. I would definitely go back!!! Cons: - music too loud - street parking - too much ice on drinks

My friend and I had this spot on our list for about 3 months before we finally got a chance to visit. So we were quite excited to experience it. Unfortunately, the food was quite sub par. The tofu bao buns, while an intriguing meal option were flavorless and boring. The fried tofu was unseasoned. The bland tofu paired with the bao buns (also simple and dull in flavor) were struggling. Even paired with the brown sauce and cabbage slaw, this entire dish was lame. While the appetizers were pretty tasty, the drinks were also a let down for the price. To be fair, the manager was nice enough to take the bao buns off our bill but unfortunately I will not be visiting any time soon.

Located in basement of a building with vibrant decor, asian inspired menu, tiki drinks and great vibe and ambience. Reservations are recommended as its gets pretty busy especially on weekends. We sat at the bar, ordered few drinks, corn bread, hummus as appetizers and Tofu bao buns as entree. Drinks were great and food was really tasty - service could be faster though. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for tiki vibes with great food.

This place has been on my list for a long time now, and I finally got the pleasure of trying it! The decor is super cute inside like a cool tiki hut. I started with the cannibal, tropics, which was strong, and so cute it even got set on fire! For appetizers, we tried the spicy cornbread, Chinese, broccoli, avocado, rice, and pepper beef. Wow, everything was exploding with flavor like the best fancy elevated Chinese food you will ever try! I can't even say which one was my favorite because they were all amazing. I then tried the fighting, five, which was super cute, and came inside of a skull! To end the meal, my friend begged me to get the Ube cannoli so we did, and I am so glad! It was super delicious. If you want a perfect date night in the Jersey City area, this is the place!

I've been waiting a couple of years to come here and I wasn't disappointed. As it was an early Tuesday evening the restaurant wasn't crowded and everything went pretty quickly (seating, ordering, etc). My friend and I shared some plates which were the large Crispy Pork Belly, Skirt Steak Bulgogi, Salmon Tartar and Spicy Cucumber Salad. Sharing is the best approach and tbh we could have easily handled a few more. None of the plates disappointed and the pork belly was the best! The only complaint you can have here is the restaurant can get loud based on where you're sitting (if you happen to be close to one of the speakers bumping out music).

What a great holiday experience!! We went during the Sleighs and Leighs pop up. What a fantastic time! The restaurant is decorated so nicely with lights and ornaments. The service was good and everyone was in their festive holiday shirts. The food was the best part! Delicious from the appetizer to the dinners and the holiday drinks are fun in the festive cups. The only downside to this restaurant is the parking situation, there is not a garage nearby and the streets are pretty packed. Don't let that steer you away from this place. Was a fantastic meal and experience.

I don't get why they have so many stars Service is good. I can see why they have more stars cus the service but food... it's okay Korean bbq ribeye: taste like galbi. Meat was fatty and juicy. Wouldn't mind getting this again but I could just go to kpot and do all you can eat and pay less and eat more galbi. Not sure it's worth it but it is good Chinese broccoli: good but nothing special Tuna tartare: okay. There was a tang to it but nothing like wow so good. I wouldn't get it again. I wanted to try the bao buns but the portion is too much Honestly wanted to order more food to try but glad we didn't. We are trying not to over order. Food isn't cheap but also not expensive but it adds up cus some of the dishes are tapas style...
