Cellier Belle Epoque - by Perrier-Jouet

We stopped by Cellier Belle Epoque by Perrier-Jouët for drinks and light snacks before dinner, and it was such a lovely experience. The atmosphere is super nice – bright, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The garden is especially charming, with a welcoming, peaceful vibe that makes you want to stay longer. We really enjoyed the snacks, everything was flavorful and well-prepared, and, of course, the champagne was excellent. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind with a glass in hand. The service was warm and genuinely friendly, adding to the relaxed, upscale feel of the place. It is a bit on the pricey side.

I never write reviews but this should be a warning for others. Their champagne is great, absolutely amazing! However, please don’t ever go for the tasting menu, they charge €120 for very below-average food and unprofessional service. Was a great fan of PJ, but unfortunately that is not the case anymore.

We (two couples) enjoyed a nice lunch at the gorgeous bar of Le Cellier Belle Époque. The bar was beautifully decorated with bottles of champagne. And there is also a beautiful garden to enjoy your drinks outside. Of course, we started our lunch with a bottle of champagne, which was, as we expected, of outstanding quality. The food was equally very refined. I really enjoyed my risotto. Although we had to wait a very long time before the staff brought us the bread we asked for. We found this a bit surprising, because in such an establishment, this should be standard practice. Be warned though: the food is expensive and one bottle of champagne will set you back more than 70 euros. Not a place you'll visit every day, but a great resting place when visiting the famous Avenue de Champagne in Épernay.

The staff were excellent and fun even to an English speaker (as was our experience everywhere in France.) Fast service but also respective of privacy while seated in the gardens. Perfect on a warm fall day

A wonderfully classy establishment. Service is top quality. We bought a bottle and got the box engraved. Such an amazing experience 😍😍 thankyou! Would definitely recommend coming here, drinks are pricey but it's a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Wonderful champagne experience in a classy refined terrace ! Seating is well thought, scattered amongst dense foliage to ensure privacy while also enjoying a beautiful natural decor ! Their menu is quite simple, 7 items and 2 desserts. So we ordered one of each of the dishes to get a feeling of their cuisine and it was AMAZING. Nothing was subpar and we even re-ordered some the dishes to fully grasp this culinary experience. Difficult to choose my favourite, but I would definitely recommend the roasted chicken focaccia and their risotto with its "oeuf-parfait" which was a delight !! Of course a bottle of Blason Rosé to accompany the lot was the cherry on this exquisite table ; delicate and fruity with floral hints that are quite subtle on the palate ! Wonderful experience in a charming lieu, and a great champagne experience.
