How to Make Your Home Kitchen More Sustainable | Eater

"Led by Edward Maibach, the organization stresses that household choices and public policy both matter: individuals should buy clean energy from their utility or consider solar and programs like Clean Choice Energy, and should reduce consumption even when power is green. Maibach also urges people to push elected officials for climate-smart policies — especially commitments to 100 percent clean, renewable energy — and emphasizes reframing climate change as immediate and personal, since many still perceive it as distant in time, space, and species." - Nick Mancall-Bitel

There was plenty of parking and we enjoyed the walk from Parking Lot K near the little pond. The traffic guards were helpful and we saw a deer! The theater is very big but I don’t love how high up some of the seats are because it’s difficult to see. All the ushers were so helpful. The show we saw was meant to be dark and so every time someone opened the side doors it was distracting when light came in. There are huge windows so they couldn’t prevent the light, which means the halls can also get really warm.

I have been here a number of times with similar results. Bathrooms are small and there's almost always a wait. There is only one long line for drinks - at intermission, this is not a good policy. The saving grace of this place is the Fairfax Symphony, a very fine orchestra with a truly masterful conductor, Christopher Zimmerman. Too bad the hall is so poorly run.

The seating in Orchestra is like a smaller version of the Kennedy Center. Every seat has a view of the stage. Smaller kids can see too but I recommend to carry a child seat from a car so kids can see better.

Who couldn’t like going to University if they went to George Mason. It ticks more than all the boxes!!! So many opportunities. I could of sit there for hours listening to the beautiful music that these amazingly talented people were playing 👏🏼

Went on a Saturday night for a jazz concert and had a great time. The campus and building were clean and easily navigable. Every seat in the house is a good one. It was a smaller venue and that was perfect for an intimate feeling. They serve light refreshments and the workers were friendly. Plenty of stalls in the ladies bathroom, but the men's was weirdly small, so there was a long line for them. Would definitely go again.

Renee Fleming was great. However, I was not able to enjoy her performance in the way I would have liked. The elderly couple sitting next to us kept taking out their cell phones and making noise putting away their binoculars and unzipping and zipping a purse. The couple behind us would not stop talking and whispering. There's nothing worse than ignorant people with money. I am disappointed!

Nice, medium-sized venue, where one has a decent view from every seat. We weren't able to take pics or videos, although a couple of people broke the rules. I feel they should've been escorted out, forfeiting their right to the remaining of the performance. After the Incredible Christmas show with 'Take 6', I grabbed other flyers for upcoming shows.

Beautiful auditorium with great acoustics--perfect for a community band show! It is very parking accessible and easy for those with other abilities to use
