"If Central Park really did have a food station, this might actually be it. Skimming the menu filled with pastelitos, soups, subs, hot dogs, burgers and empanadas, it's hard to decide what to try first. That is, until guests reach the Pepiarepa, a Venezuelan classic, made with a fried arepa topped in cabbage, tomatoes, ham, cheese, boiled egg mustard, ketchup and home sauce with choice of beef, chicken, or smoked pork chop." - Eater Staff

Google
My favorite empanada de cazón in Miami is right here! The arepa was also good, but I think the strength of this restaurant is definitely the empanadas. Arepa pelua in my opinion might want to improve with a different type of cheese, something more melting. As a second favorite option I suggest cachapas. Passion fruit juice is delicious. Service is wonderful, very friendly.

Was looking for a quick meal to grab when I stopped here starving. This Venezuelan eatery offers all the typical fare you’d expect (at great prices) and even has a couple notable specials like 2 of their Engy Hot Dogs with a fountain soda for only $3.99 after 3p.m. I decided to go for their “You Can’t Eat Just One Empanadita” special to start which includes 3 fried empanadas of your choice and a fountain soda for $3.99. The empanadas were mediocre, nothing special to rave about though I really enjoyed their house sauces served with them which you shouldn’t miss out on! For my entree I decided to get their Steak Pepiarepa $8.99 since I had never seen anything like it before. Their Pepiarepas are fried arepas cut into chunks, cabbage, tomatoes, ham, boiled egg, mustard, ketchup and their house “engy” sauce so kind of like a deconstructed arepa served in a bowl with your choice of protein. I think I would have preferred ordering a normal stuffed arepa to this even though the flavors and combination were somewhat tasty. Some of the ingredients (like the arepa and steak pieces) were over cooked making it chewy and the whole thing taste pretty second-rate. I did come 30 minutes before closing which I usually try to avoid and maybe is why my meal came out just okay. The staff was very friendly and it was an inviting eatery, but I can’t see myself venturing back any time soon.

Yelp

Yelp
I decided to have go here for lunch since it's near my job I had a vege salad which was delicious with a ginger dressing, a pumpkin soup which was phenomenal and a meat empanada! That came with a awesome sauce! My only complaint it was very pricey for a lunch for 1 it's was $20 I would go again they should do lunch specials!

Yelp
The arepa with perico that they sell at this restaurant is absolutely terrible. The huevos perico were extremely watery, flavorless, and had zero salt whatsoever. The arepa itself was so bland and undercooked as well. I would've rather made my own arepa with perico at home (and it would've come out much better). Tip for the restaurant: season the huevos perico with salt, and please cook the chopped tomatoes by themselves until the juice from the tomatoes evaporates BEFORE adding in the scrambled eggs. Also, try to add salt to the arepa flour and cook the arepas greased in a bit of olive oil in order for the arepa to be more flavorful; as well as trying to cook the arepas for longer so that the middle/inside of the actual arepa is not left so raw.

Ed H.

Yelp
Delicious empanada. And they have so many varieties. I had the mushroom with cheese. It was terrific.

Freya P.

Yelp
Best BAKED arepa perico I've ever eaten, fresh, full of eggs with diced tomatoes and onions (perico style) and tons if shredded cheese, White cheese is my preference. The arepa, although baked is amazing, i will never tire of this dish, i get the engy hot sauce, its homemade and compliments any dish, tasty, fresh. The ground meat pastelitos are packed with tasty delicious filling, definitely recommend.

Yelp
empanadas are delicious, some of the most flavorful i've had. definitely a hidden gem!!

Jennifer L.

Yelp
I absolutely love coming here to get the best cachacas freshly made and arepas the one made with gouda cheese is amazing. One reason and only one reason why I give it four stars is because when I've asked if they have the nata cream to pour over which is a delicious almost like sour cream to pour over the cachacas a few times they've told me they do not have because they've ran out which I can't explain how they don't have. Parking is great, service is awesome, and food is authentic.

April M.

Yelp
Delicious shark empanadas I would eat everyday!! Sauce is also delicious! Reasonable prices! Quality

Ryan W.

Yelp
This little spot is definitely a delicacy in the heart of Doral. Fresh Arepas and delicious burgers plus Colombian style hot dogs means there's almost too many great options to choose from. Super friendly and attentive staff :) Definitely make sure to stop in for lunch if you're in the area!

Yelp
The shopping center where Central Park Food Station is located has limited parking but if you're patient you'll find someone pulling out right away! The service was phenomenal during my visit. It was my first time and won't be the last. I'm a huge fan of breakfast burritos and their Mexican Breakfast Burrito was by far one of the best I've had in quite sometime. The Mexican Breakfast Burrito is huge! You can have the ingredients wrapped with a spinach wrap instead of the traditional whole wheat which is nice. It comes with a coffee or cortadito. During my visit I went with the cortadito and it was perfect. All the employees are bilingual making the ordering process a breeze. The Mexican Breakfast Burrito comes with eggs, potatoes (small chopped up potatoes; these are delicious, onions, and chorizo (the chorizo is the bomb!). You can add an additional ingredient such as cheese or ham (I went with Swiss cheese). Again, the Burrito was the bomb! It was so delicious. They really packed the Burrito with lots of eggs, potatoes, and chorizo. Every bite was amazing! The restaurant is clean and very welcoming. I can't wait till my next visit. Thank you CP Food Station for the wonderful experience.

Yelp
Decided to give them a try as I was in the Doral area and wanted to try a new place. A lot of options to choose from. Decided to go with two lunch specials they had but they messed up on the side dishes for one of my meals. I asked for tostones and salad for one and they gave me rice and beans for both. I of course had to upgrade and add a soup to eat of which I got pumpkin soup for one and lentils for the other. I was disappointed in the pumpkin one as the flavor was alright and it was not thick like you'd except pumpkin soup to be. The lentil soup was delicious and it actually made the pumpkin soup taste even better when I mixed them together. I love empanadas so I had to try their typical Venezuelan empanadas that are fried. Got two cheese and one of picadillo and one of carne mechada. They messed up there too and gave me two of picadillo instead of the carne mechada which is the one that I was looking forward to the most! :( so disappointed. And I'm going to blame the fact that I asked the empanadas to go that they lost they crispness. The shell was kinda soggy. For the $37 I spent I wish I would've had a better experience.

Yelp
I've been coming to Central Park for a couple of years now and am always left satisfied and stuff, this location is one of two for this family run restaurant, the other being a little further west around NW 107th Avenue and 58th Street. The owner and his family are always friendly and welcoming and treat their patrons well. The baked empanadas at Central Park are nothing short of excellent!! Mushroom and cheese & tomato are two of my personal favorites but there's an array of different types, all of which I'm confident are delicious!! Definitely ask for the special "engy" sauces which compliment the empanadas and wraps perfectly!! I almost always go with the "Turkey Kafta Enrollado", this healthy sub/wrap has a Greek/middle eastern twist to it and is always fantastic! This was recommended to me by the owner a couple of years ago and I rarely stray from it. Everything is made to order and always fresh and tasty. Will undoubtedly continue to visit Central Park!

Yelp
The service they have here when ordering online is horrible . You pick the location and than they call you to ask you . So if you don't answer your nevera gets started and it's already paid . The gentleman at 107 Nw 58 with earring is horrible and rude . He clicked on me while talking regarding my order . After all they told 25 minutes to have my order ready . I get there 30 minutes and still had to wait 20 more minutes!! They kept telling me your order is getting finished and nothing !!! If you ask me , the food could be good but if the service and attitude of the employee is terrible I wouldn't recommend it after all . Rude rude from the gentleman with earring , if you can deal with customer don't work in a place where you deal with customers!!!! The worse ever!!!!!! Almost an hour and a half !!! To be more specific it was the gentleman with a hoop

Yelp
If you went by the crowd or lack of it, you would walk away. But this was the second Sunday they were open for breakfast and I am glad I gave it a shot. I had an omelet, which is not on the menu, but they made it for me anyway. It was a little overcooked but this is a Venezuelan place so next time I go local. The coffee was high octane and the baguette was soft and delicious. Then I had an empanada which was very good. The staff was very friendly and I stayed and talked for about an hour. Daniel, who I think is the owner, was very nice. They have a sister store up on 107th near 58th that has a hot dog special on Monday nights. Give this place a shot. Everything is scratch made to order so be patient. I look forward to my further education on Venezuelan food around the corner from my apartment. @kodiak_kuisine

Yelp
The breakfast burrito with added bacon and cheese is delicious. It is enough food to fill you up and last you until dinner time. Get it with the white sauce for a little added yummy-ness.

Yelp
Well let me start by saying that how rude is the waitress, I would tell you her name but she didn't say. We asked for a strawberry milkshake and it came very watery, tasted like straight up milk. Then she came back to our table and said oh sorry I forgot to put sugar, and started to put sugar on our shake and asked us to taste, it was still disgusting, therefore I asked very nicely please take it back and bring us a guanábana smoothie and she gave me the dirtiest look and took it back. At this point there were only 3 other guests on two different tables and one of those 3 was waiting on their check for over 15 minutes. She brings the smoothie about 15 minutes later. Then I told her I was ready to order and another 10 minutes went by before she came to take our order. I ordered an arepa pabellón and she brings us an empanada pabellón and argues with me that that's what I ordered before she took it back. Then I asked for 3 small empanadas and they came cold. We asked for a chicken soup and she said we don't have, well we have but it's frozen so I asked is it from today and she said well yes but we freeze it so it leads me to believe that it isn't from today. After his I decided to get up and pay for what we had gotten and leave. Of course our lovely waitress decided to make it even worse by telling me next time you will have to pay before ordering. I was like what type of restaurant is this most restaurants you sit and then pay at the end, however it was up to her to enforce this policy if it even exists since I told her, I am not the one working there she is. The only thing I can think of is that they have experienced the same type of complains from other customers and they have to enforce this policy in order to make any money, sell horrible food but pay before so you make sure to leave unhappy but paid in full, unbelievable. The experience was a total negative one from the beginning. I will not be returning, I strongly discourage anyone from coming here.

Yelp
We came here for breakfast because of the high ratings and I'm so glad we did! 1. Their coffee is delicious and I don't even drink coffee! It's so flavourful and not bitter. Now I don't know why anyone would just drink american drip coffee. 2. The bread is so crispy yet soft in the middle. They panini it a long time so it stays crusty. The slices are quite large, but I ate the whole thing because it was so good :P (if you dip it in Chai Tea with milk and sugar, it's a gingerbread delight!) 3. I tried the cazon empanada because i've never had shark before! It's yummy! The fried dough is crispy like the fried dough balls in dim sum (Jian dui). The filling has onions and baby shark (since the meat is more tender) which is flavourful. If you're ever had sambal, it tastes just like it! Tastes like shrimp paste and the texture like tuna. No shrimp instead though; the lady said they used annatto instead of paprika to get the red colour and for more smokey flavour. All the food is made to order so it's really fresh! I'm impressed! 4. The hospitality is amazing. The gentleman kindly explained the different types of coffee and was attentive to making sure our orders were taken care of and that were happy. I'd come here again and again if I lived in Florida!

Michelle T.

Yelp
We wanted to try a local restaurant, not pizza or a chain type place, so I remember always seeing this place when going to the local Publix. My kids loved it, the food was delicious and service was great! We want to support local shops and vendors during this crisis, this will definitely be a regular for us.

Carol M.

Yelp
Hands down the best hot dog in Doral! If there is something that I could have everyday is a hot dog, and that is why when I find a place with a good one I have to immediately rave about it. We went on a Thursday night and ordered a hot dog, a burger and an empanada. The food is Venezuelan style so the empanada was made with corn flour, fried till crispy and served hot, it was very good. The hot dog had shoestring potatoes, mayo and ketchup, that's what I remember but it was also really good! If you're in the Doral area you have to give this place a try, the staff was very nice and the food was great as well.

Jacqueline M.

Yelp
The three stars is definitely not because of the food. The food is fabulous I have eaten here twice and it is a whole in the wall my coworker and I stumbled upon. The place itself isn't aesthetically pleasing but the food - WOW. Enrollados are a must and please use the green sauce on everything it is heavenly. The reason for the rating was because I ordered through GrubHub delivery and the order was supposed to arrive in 55-60min. I gave them an extra half hour since it was lunchtime and then decided to call in. GrubHub called the restaurant and Central Park could not give them an answer. They asked if they can call GrubHub back in 10 min, so needless to say I cancelled the order. The food here is delicious and service inside the establishment is great. However, beware of ordering delivery around lunchtime as it seems they lose track of orders.

Nelson G.

Yelp
Food is Ok. Service is very impersonal, wanted to order another item from the menu and had to approach the counter and call one of the servers several times. The manager or owner was sitting in one of the tables working on his laptop disconnected from the restaurant situation.

Mari S.

Yelp
We ordered a little of everything, empanadas, enrollado, hot dog and tequeños. All the food was delicious and according to my 3 yo she said she "ate really good" I knocked off a star because although the staff was extremely nice, the service was lacking. The tequeños came out cold in the middle - they took them back to redo, they forgot the fries and our second beer. We ordered and received plenty of food so it wasn't an issue for us but just an FYI.

Stella M.

Yelp
the plantain and cheese arepa was AMAIZING service was friendly and helpful. can't wait to go back

Jacquie N.

Yelp
A must Stop for me when I need a quick bite. Couple of my favorites is #1 the Veggie Juice with carrots, cucumber, beets, celery and ginger. This, I could do every day. 2) the empanadas are excellent. All made on premises with some Venezuelian and/or Honduran twist. The variety goes from basic chicken to shark (yes, shark) There is even a Lebanese empanadas. Now tell me, just where else are you going to find that? The rest of the memu has burger, subs, salads, soups and hot dogs. If you come for the Dog, get the "Tocidoggy" (cheese & bacon). Finally, drinks for every one. Sodas, café, and even beer & wine. If you have a chance to meet the owner, chat him up. He had some great ideas.

Carolyn B.

Yelp
Wow definitely 5stars, for quality of food and prices. This place is an authentic Venezuelan spot. Nothing fancy, but definitely worth every bite. They have great specials. Empanadas for $1, 2 Venezuelan hotdogs and a drink for $3.99, and much more. Definitely will be returning before but head back home.

Kenny L.

Yelp
OMG this place was delicious!! If you're looking for a quick bite to eat, affordable and delicious, then this is the place. I chose this place because my husband wanted egg whites! I love that they give you a variety of coffee option with your breakfast meal, American or cortadito. I, of course, had both and they were AMAZING!! The staff was super friendly and very amable as we say in Hispanic culture. The atmosphere is very Latin. I definitely recommend the guava and cheese empanadas as it was super delicious!! I had the two egg breakfast, which I forgot to take a picture but we know how eggs look lol.

Khalela S.

Yelp
Mhmmmm! I love their sandwiches. If you are looking for on the go or only have 30mins to eat lunch this is the place to go if you are around the area. They make everything to order and they have stuff that are on a warmer. I had their mango smoothie with milk and it was pretty good.

Ismel M.

Yelp
This nice Venezuelan restaurant in the heart of Miami has the best food that you can bring your family and friends to enjoy a nice meal with good Energy all around.

Giancarlo T.

Yelp
My friend and I were studying down the street at Starbucks when we decided to check this place out for lunch. First off, parking is a pain due to this restaurant being in a small shopping plaza so try to avoid visiting during peak lunch times. Besides that our overall experience was great. This little joint has its own vibe which welcomes you as soon as you walk in. I must warn you this place is petite in seating capacity, about 5 tables for 4 people and a bar top that can seat another 7. But what it lacks in size it makes up for it in flavor! I had a beef Pepiarepa with their signature ENGY sauce and let me tell you it was awesome! This dish comes with cabage, tomatoes, onions, hard boiled eggs, ham, and beef layerd upon a bed of crispy arepas. Plus their signature ENGY sauce perfectly complimented my plate! The service was great as all of the employees were attentive to our needs. I can't wait to come back here with my wife and something different off the menu. Verdict: If you're in the doral area and are looking for a reasonably priced, large amount of deliciousness please stop by Central Park Station Doral. You won't regret it!

Bill S.

Yelp
First visit to Central Park Food Station. I had the Max Burger with a fried egg. It was good and fun to eat and believe me it takes two hands. It's a must try. Bill

Raymond K.

Yelp
I came across this unassuming store front as I was shopping for home renovation materials and what a pleasant surprise this place was. Central Park is a local hidden gem when it comes Latin American cuisine. I will admit, I have tried nothing but their baked empanada but they are probably the best damn empanadas I've ever had the pleasure and privilege I've had in my entire life. They are so good that they typically run out before noon on the weekends. I always order the beef empanadas as they put seasoned fresh shredded beef inside of them and they're baked to a flaky, soft yet crispy exterior texture. The moment you bite into them, you're in heaven. Empanadas also come with a spicy red sauce and a white garlic sauce I think? Either way, very tasty and I always make a trip over here whenever I'm in the area. $3 for the empanada but very well worth it.

Christopher H.

Yelp
The burgers are pretty solid here. I got the cheeseburger and a side of fries. Polite staff, clean place, and good food. No long wait time for food either--which is great. It's just a little disappointing that the specials they offer are all basically after 3.

Shannen C.

Yelp
I haven't had such a delicious burger in years!!!!!! Literally my companion and I ended up fighting for the last piece until we left!!! Everything in the menu is exquisite, we ended up ordering; pepito, scrambled eggs with a fried arepa and the maxi burger. All the food was out of this world including the chicha!!! If I would I would eat here every single day do my life and I wouldn't get bored lol!! No but seriously though 15/10 hehe the staff is amazing and the food top notch. Extremely recommended and they are open until late!!

George M.

Yelp
Came here on a cold Saturday afternoon after spending a couple hours looking for tiles. Miami's tile district is no joke and you can build quite an appetite so LilYibs and were hungry. We ordered a couple sandwiches and my Old Man ordered an empanada. The place was empty except for another couple that was already about to eat. The food was more than descent and the service was pleasant but they were slooooooooooow It's as if they made each item we ordered separately which meant we all ate at different times. That and plus what must have been the owners just eating and drinking behind the counter turned me off for whatever reason. One guy made some cuban coffee to share but drank most of it himself and then immediately drank a soda right afterwards!?! Who does that??? Pro Tip: Get the Yelp deal and save yourself some coin

Rochelle R.

Yelp
I had the beef Enrollado and pumpkin soup and they were delicious!!! Friendly service good food.. I will for sure come back again when I'm in town.

Giovanna H.

Yelp
Little spot in between Medley and Doral. Lots of food options. Good spot to stop by for a quick bite. Very good baked empanadas, fried empanadas, wraps and burgers. The Venezuelan burgers and super delicious. They also have fresh juices and smoothies. The attention was fantastic. The owner was sure to give us A+++ customer service. He was very attentive and friendly. Gave the kiddos cookies after they dropped soda all over the floor. The only thing I felt needs a bit of improvement are the employees. They need to be a bit more quick and friendly. Other than that good food and loved the owners care for his customers.

Luije P.

Yelp
Excellent service and amazing food for a great price. What else do you need in life?

Elizabeth P.

Yelp
When in Doral do as the Doralians do and eat Venezuelan food. Here they do have Venezuelan food but also lots of other varieties. The baked empanadas here are still the best I've tried anywhere. Today I had the tomato and mozzarella baked empanada. It's delicious and just the right size for light lunch. I had it with their lentil soup which was also very good. Here's another plus to coming here - they honor their Yelp check-in offer. Today I got my free beer. Cheers! Look forward to coming again soon.

Nick M.

Yelp
In the area early for a flight and wanted a nice simple lunch. Grabbed a few empañadas but they were huge! Managed to only eat half of what I ordered and loved every bite. Probably going to be a common stop when in the area for food. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Michelle M.

Yelp
A-MAZ-ING!!!! After tasting a sandwich or two off other people, I decided to go for it and place an online order today with this restaurant. Although I was a bit hesitant since I am not familiar with their menu I went ahead and placed an order for a engy beef wrap. This has by far been the best sandwich I have had in quite some time! Shredded beef wrapped up in a whole wheat pita with mushrooms, avocado, lettuce, and tomato. PLUS a containers of engy sauce and ginger dressings on the side! PHENOMENAL MEAL! All that for $7.99. Great price, very helpful staff as I was not sure about what I was ordering, their suggestions were greatly appreciated and spot on! I devoured the first half but will go ahead and offer a picture of half my sandwich. Will definitely return as soon as I can.

Carlos S.

Yelp
ordered a steak pepito w a beer and was delicious . staff very friendly and polite . enjoyed talking to cook about the sandwich

Kimberly C.

Yelp
Ordered from the window for to-go. My honey and I couldn't speak Spanish fluently so there was definitely a language barrier present. And I say that because we ordered 2 pallabon fried empanadas (one beef and one shark) and 1 chicken fried empanada. They instead gave us 1 pallabon (shark I believe, or chicken) and 1 regular beef, the chicken order was correct. The disadvantage of getting empanadas to go is that you don't know which one is which until you bite into it, so by then it's too late to correct your order. Also, they don't label the empanada bags so have fun guessing. I somewhat liked the cornmeal exterior of the fried empanadas but boy, oh boy, were they super greasy. I've honestly had better, but what saves the day is their garlic cilantro sauce. Was not too pleased. Not planning on coming again.

Mark M.

Yelp
I didn't realize until after I walked in the door that they were 1 minute from closing. I asked if they were done serving. Fortunately, they allowed me in. That said, the server helped me figure out my order since I wasn't sure how big the portions were. Ended up getting two pastelitos and one pollo mechado con queso. It turned out to be just the right amount and was very delicious. On a side note, it was a pleasure to see the ladies were deaf-aware and willing to help me understand what they were saying. They even asked me to teach them how to sign Thank you in ASL. That made my day. All that said, the quality of the food, the quality of the place (it's not much on the outside but great inside), and the quality of service here exceeded my expectations. I look forward to eating here again. They also do have an app if you want to order before you arrive. A very nice feature which might come in handy someday if I'm in a hurry.

Yelp
Came across this restaurant while driving around Doral. The name always stood out to me so I decided to check it out one day. It's very nice and clean inside, they have a lovely bar area where you can come in and have a delicious Venezuelan treat without using up an actual table. I usually order through Yelp, I always get the chicken avacado arepa, I'm not sure exactly what it's called but it's exactly that and it is SO GOOD!!! I'm surprised I haven't taken a picture of it. But next time I will, because I'm definitely going back.

Yelp
Omg. Idk what else to say but this was some of the best tasting food I've eaten in my life. The fried chicken empanadas with the picante and white sauce was perfection. I had already eaten it before I could get a pic, lol. The main entree we had was chicken with grilled peppers and onions, white rice and black beans...perfection! I'm in town from Savannah, GA and my brother wanted to try Venezuelan food. Wise choice, wise men.

Yelp
Friendly staff and helpful with the menu. Menu has a variety of healthy choices, stick add wraps salads, and soups. Prices are within reason. AND VERY GOOD TASTING FOOD! I had the avocado salad wrap...mmmm

Yelp
I was in town and looking for something a Lil bit different in the area and found this place on yelp. Do yourself and your taste buds a favor and stop by here. I had the chicken enrollados. And shark Empanadas. They were very patient with me and explain all the food and differences in great detail.

Yelp
BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! This review is for Mixed meat pepito subs. I was in a rush and decided to pick up something quick for my short lunch break at Central Park Food Station. It was my first time and I asked the lady at the window for recommendations and finally decided for the Pepito sub. Honestly I thought a simple sandwich will be good. What can go wrong with a sandwich? Apparently everything. I ordered beef and chicken, and I got pork and chicken instead. The guy who charged me dismissed me by saying I will be fine and that their smoked pork is very good. I don't think he has the right attitude. If I am ordering something, I should get what I asked for and not what their cook decides. I did not fight it since I don't have much time for lunch. I took it back to my office and almost broke my teeth when I tried to take a bite. The bread was STALE and HARD AS A ROCK. After paying $10.69 for the sandwich, I don't believe they can't afford fresh bread. Not even Subway would commit such atrocity. They also told me it comes with papitas but either the cook forgot about it or maybe she decided I did not want it. To their benefit, the pork was ok and after I called and told them about the situation, they did offered another one. This could have helped but I don't have endless lunch breaks so I told them never mind. It was an AWFUL experience here that left upset and hungry.
