The Central Valley is not very beautiful. It is quite hazy, especially near Bakersfield, and there is not much to see except for the occasional mountain, most often blocked by haze. It is very flat, with not much natural appeal. On the other hand, it produces amazing products. Bakersfield oranges are the freshest and juiciest I have ever had, and Fresno’s sugarcane is delicious. While the cities themselves do not have much to offer, the surrounding farmlands definitely do.
