"Bringing South American flavours to Warsaw, you’ll quickly find that this bright, airy restaurant is much more than a bar and serves far more than just ceviche. The famous Peruvian dish does feature – with sea bass, tuna and oyster among the varieties – but so do empanadas, grilled steaks and picarones. Argentinian chef-owner Martin Gimenez Castro imbues them all with freshness and vitality. In the evening, the music grows louder and the pisco sours start emerging from the bar at increasing speed." - Michelin Inspector

World Flavours in Polish Gastronomy

"From Argentine chef Martin Gimenez Castro, this popular Bib Gourmand spot in Warsaw showcases iconic South American dishes and techniques: refreshing, zesty ceviches made with fresh fish, golden-crusted empanadas, and perfectly grilled steaks, all complemented by cheeky cocktails based on Latin American spirits and a backdrop of lively music." - Le Guide MICHELIN

Went to have ceviche. Got the one called „Mixto” Sadly it was so tiny for it’s price and way too sour. Guacamole and truffle fries was very good. Beef empanada was okay. Pineapple matcha was great. Kawaii cocktail very soft and tasty. Tuna&corn dish i personaly didn’t like. Corn been boiled without salt so was tasteless. Also i didn’t like that in this kind of place they didn’t care of bring water at the beginning. Cost nothing to be a bit more nicer.

Let’s start with the good news: the truffle fries were excellent — crispy, fragrant, and probably the only thing that truly earned their spot on the menu. The open kitchen was another nice touch — spacious, tidy, and gave a sense of transparency you rarely see. And now, for the ceviche bar that somehow forgot it’s a ceviche bar. There were only four ceviche options on the entire menu — barely enough to call it a theme, let alone a concept. The interior was painfully plain, offering the charm of an IKEA showroom on a Monday morning. Cleanliness? Let’s say… aspirational. Crumbs on the sofa, soy sauce splatters on the wall — the kind of details you can’t unsee once you’ve spotted them. The service was the highlight of awkwardness: cold, uninterested, and vaguely passive-aggressive. We felt like unwanted guests crashing a private dinner. They cleared our plates before we even finished eating, and when pouring our wine, the server dumped nearly half the bottle into the glasses in one go — as if silently suggesting, “Maybe drink up and go?” As for the ceviche itself — utterly forgettable. Overloaded with avocado (and not even a nicely cut one), lacking balance, acidity, or any spark of flavor. Honestly, I’ve had more exciting salads from a gas station. And that Michelin Guide mention? Still trying to figure out why. It certainly wasn’t for the food, the service, the atmosphere, or the experience. Oh, and did I mention it’s all wildly overpriced? For what you get, the bill felt like a punchline to a bad joke. Would I come back? Only if every other restaurant in the city was closed — and even then, I’d think twice.

Very very nice restaurant, food was great, fresh, tasty. Extremely nice service, location of the place is great, just outside a city center. It's on a higher side of price range but it's well worth it.

I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the chef is either overthinking his recipes or is lacking finesse. The service was descent, however, none of the servers was attentive enough to deliver the order as requested or to pay attention to the needs of the patrons. The local has a modern vibe resembling more of a bar than a restaurant with cheap plastic chairs and uncomfortable cushioned sofas against the wall. We ordered a classic pisco sour that seemed to be pulled from a prepackaged mix with very little pisco. We also ordered the ceviche mixto, the grilled octopus, and the langostinos. The ceviche was well seasoned however it lacked dimension. Initially I thought the addition of avocado was interesting, but it really did nothing for the dish. Perhaps sweet potatoes would have given it a more balanced taste and texture. The octopus was well prepared and tasty however the addition of the burratta was a total miss. The langostinos were also tasty but the cream just did not work with it leaving you feeling totally underwhelmed by the experience. In conclusion the whole menu confused me and the dishes we tried missed the mark in taste and composition. I hope they improve over time.

Wow, what a great experience this was! We wanted a break from the traditional Polish food and found this very highly rated restaurant close to our hotel. We sat outside as it was a beautiful day. We ordered a glass of wine and beer and started with their mixed ceviche in tiger's milk which was amazing. We also had the tuna tartar which was delicious and the seabass which was amazing! Tortilla chips were served with the ceviche etc. I would go back in a minute. It was delicious and I would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderfull lunch . In our 3 day vacation in Warsaw we tried a cuple of different restaurants. And Cevice Bar was by far the best place we ate . Our favorites were Tuna Cevice, Polpo and Sea bass. Also the Steak was great. Also the location and the team deserves a 5 star recommendation. Thank you for a wonderfull experience.
