My experience at Cha Cha Cha was frustrating from the moment I arrived. I walked in at 7:08 pm to a nearly empty restaurant, only one occupied table, yet was turned away for not having a reservation. I was told they were “fully booked” and that only bar seating was available, which made little sense given the vast, empty dining room. I didn’t argue and headed back to my car, but out of curiosity checked OpenTable and saw plenty of reservations available starting at 7:15 pm and throughout the night. I made one immediately, walked back, and was suddenly seated with the explanation that they had “just gotten a cancellation.” That inconsistency alone suggested a lack of basic restaurant management experience.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t redeem the visit. The $20 guacamole was shockingly small and bland, just mashed avocado with no noticeable salt or lime. The Caesar salad was actually the highlight and my favorite dish of the night. The tuna tostada was underwhelming: mostly mayo and paprika, minimal tuna, tiny portion, and absolutely not worth $18. The chicken salbutes were tasty, but unbearably spicy; that level of heat should be clearly disclosed, especially since others at the table couldn’t eat them. Drinks were fine, but nothing memorable.
Overall, poor management, inconsistent service, and overpriced, uneven food make this an easy pass. I won’t be returning.
