Cha Cha Matcha (WeHo)

Small and extremely well hidden if you don’t take the time to find it. Off Melrose, this Chai place is one of my favs in West Hollywood/Beverly Hills area. I got the regular Chai without the Macha and it was delicious. Recommend 10/10

Very cool coffee spot with a simple yet effective menu. They are primarily a matcha spot, but I ordered a vanilla latte and it was delicious. The staff were friendly and quick. We sat for about an hour chatting over our coffee and the atmosphere was really cool. The music was probably louder than you would expect but it didn’t interfere with our conversation and the tunes were good. The chocolate donut was incredible! Moist and dense.

This is the only Cha Cha Matcha were the people who work there are NICE, friendly and awesome. In other locations I felt like I was bothering them when ordering, but here they’re so so so nice and they allowed me to try the drinks before ordering to see if I liked it. They have such good vibes and the store is nicer than the rest.

Love love love this spot delicious matcha tastes ceremonial grade high quality made with love, you can tell. Service is excellent, kind, hardworking, wonderful. I been here a few times and I keep wanting to come back. Word of mouth is not enough, had to write this review 💘

It's a vibe! A little tropical-esque oasis in WeHo. I got the nitro draft matcha latte which tasted fresh and was delicious. My partner got the yuzu lemonade which was very refreshing. The matcha donut was pretty sweet. I'm coming back for the soft serve! Yes, soft serve. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of seats available to bask in the vibes on a Saturday afternoon.

This is by far the best Matcha I've had in Los Angeles. The staff are very friendly and the overall environment of the place was very inviting. I got the Strawberry Matcha Latte from Olivia and this is a must try. I must say my experience was fantastic because of her service. This is a must try if you are looking for a high quality Matcha cafe in Los Angeles.

Great place. It is very trendy for a good reason, high quality matcha. Very nice people - staff and patrons. Excellent location, great area! Amazing patio. Really enjoyed the ambiance. Parking is definitely an issue but worth the effort It is a very popular neighborhood for shopping and strolling after or with your drink.

Cha Cha Matcha is a lovely cafe on Robertson with an easy (paid) street parking. They serve tasty drinks. I’ve tried one of the Signature’s Drinks, Purple Drink with lavender and ube, and added matcha. S’mores Cookie was delicious too. But what’s important to emphasize is the cafe itself, its tables, chairs, views, location. It’s very pleasant to sit there, especially when afternoon sun hits. Nice and cozy. Stuff is super friendly and communicative. Some tables are next to power outlets, which is very helpful if you need to do some online work and plug your laptop or charge your phone while you sip your coffee or matcha.

I love the staff, every time I come in Aaron always remembers my drink. It's the small things :)

I've been a regular a CCM since they started out, and am always happy with whatever I happen to order. Apart from delicious combos, CCM prides itself in great design aesthetic and brand building which I admire. I recently had the Purple ube matcha latte. It was a little bit sweeter than some of the other flavors I've ordered, but not in a sugary saccharine way.

I was craving a Matcha Lemonade and luckily Cha Cha Matcha had one! I came in around 3 pm and there was no line and there were enough seats inside and outside to sit and have a drink. The staff there is also very welcoming. The Matcha Lemonade was everything I expected - refreshing, light, sweet, and a bit earthy. Overall, this drink is a must!

I love matcha. I am a matcha lover for sure! Cha Cha Matcha is always a good go to if you are feeling all things matcha!!! This matcha is from a region in Japan that the royal family also gets matcha from (yes Japan still has a royal family believe it or not!). So if this strain of matcha is good enough for them, then you know it's gotta be good, right? Well, I can vouch for Cha Cha Matcha and say yes it is! I always get the Beautiful Latte and add matcha. This drink has just the right amount of flavor and froth. I get it both hot or cold depending on the weather. I also love their gluten free doughnuts that they have as well. The doughnuts are so moist!!! They bring them in from a third party, but at any rate, they are amazingly tasty! The customer service varies on who is there. For the most part, the staff is pretty nice and friendly, but every now and then you get someone who has had a bad day. The store has an island like aesthetic with green and pink as the main colors with wooden accents. The outdoor seating is nice. I just wish the seats were just a little cleaner.

The matcha in LA that made me switch from coffee to matcha. This location specifically is special with their house-made milk and the most wonderful staff. Juno (to know him is to love him) has the magic touch and makes the matcha perfectly. He remembers everyone's names, is kind and welcoming, and most of all wonderful at his craft. I'm always hopeful upon coming in that he's working that day. Cha cha's high quality matcha from Uji paired with their clean almond milk that doesn't have any processed junk has ruined all others from me. I've become spoiled and I am so grateful

I love cha cha matcha! I live quite a distance from here, but my partner and I are always willing to come out here to enjoy some matcha. This time I got the strawberry matcha with almond milk and their matcha croissant. I haven't had their strawberry matcha before and honestly it was super good! It was the perfect mix of sweet and matcha if you know what I mean. As always, I enjoy the vibes of cha cha matcha as there is a lot of seating to enjoy your coffee and pastries. The workers are always nice and quick with getting our orders out.

The staff were very sweet and friendly and I loved the overall aesthetic of this cafe. It's very pink and definitely photo worthy. I got their draft matcha latte and it was pretty good! You can definitely taste the hints of vanilla and oat milk. It has a mild sweetness, so if you prefer your matcha on the sweeter end, I would recommend getting one of their other drinks! There are no seats inside but they have a small section right outside with ample tables and seats.

Friendly service helped me find a beverage that suits my palette and the charming atmosphere provides a lovely locale to sit and study. The matcha was indeed delicious and not too sweet.

Service was very quick and welcoming. And the place looked so cute and cozy. I LOVED their draft matcha! It was so delicious. I have not tasted a matcha quite as good as theirs. My sister got their strawberry lemonade and it was so good and refreshing! I am not a local and this is quite a drive for me, but I will definitely be back soon.

Definitely consider trying this matcha spot! The interior and products like cup holders are super cute and all the workers are super friendly! The interior is small though, so you have to leave and sit outside their store once you get your drink. I got a regular matcha latte, however the default option is oat milk. I didn't mind oat milk, but for some reason I tasted a lot of oats than matcha! The matcha was whisked well and you can watch the workers make it in front of you. If you're ever thirsty while venturing around Century City, then this spot is for you!

This place is very cute, the matcha was good, but the two ladies working when I visited (October 14 around 3pm) were not friendly at all. We walked in and were not even greeted. They continued to have a conversation between themselves and didn't even greet us when I went to the register. They just asked what I wanted. I had a question about one of the drinks and they responded with attitude like I should know what their house made item was. The matcha was good. Not great, but good. There are other locations so I will try those and hopefully they have better customer service and tastier drinks.

the matcha itself was pretty good. we got the strawberry matcha and purple drink plus matcha shot. the strawberry matcha tasted weird even after mixing. could not taste strawberry. maybe it was the milk? got whole milk. the purple drink has ube and lavender. Definitely taste the floral lavender but didnt get any hint of ube. no indoor seating only outdoor. also didnt see parking lot but there's free street parking next to it

Well, I stopped by here again today, Saturday, and Aaron once again made me a custom Cafe Mocha! It's not on their menu but if Aaron is there he makes it for me! It's SO good too! Great service by everyone here. Great place. Love this location. The vibe here. Peaceful. Great layout. This is my second good review of this place.

I just love this place! I found it on doordash about a week ago & I've been ordering it ever since lol. Today was my first time going to the store location and it was very cute! Aesthetically pleasing as well. From the decor, trees, to even the dog treats. I love how close it is to my job! My new go to is beautiful latte with 2 shots of matcha.

It was absolutely pouring outside so I decided that I should warm myself up with a hot cup of matcha. The inside was super cute and really pink and although it was raining outside, most of the tables are actually outside. I decided to keep it simple and went with the standard matcha (just matcha and water) with vanilla sweetener ($5). Their most current menu is at the very front so I wasn't able to really look through it until I got to the cashier. I've been regularly around the area for about 4 years now and have always been wanting to try the matcha here. I was honestly a bit disappointed because the matcha didn't taste any different from the matcha that I usually make at home myself. Maybe my expectations were too high after seeing all the rave reviews. The matcha also wasn't blended that well and by the time I got to the bottom of the cup I got a lot of the chalky texture that tends to happen because of that. The cups that they use are super flimsy and the lids don't stay on the cups at all. When I walked back to my car I was spilling hot matcha all over my hands. Maybe I just got the wrong thing and I should be getting their more specialty drinks. Now I know that the regular matcha with water isn't the way to go here though.

Loved the aesthetic of this cafe. Even the napkins and straws are adorable. The girls working here were super nice and explained everything on the menu, and let me try the matcha draft (which was alright imo). My chai matcha latte was beautiful, but was just okay honestly. The chai definitely overpowered the drink, the matcha flavor was very faint which was disappointing. I was debating coming back to try just a matcha latte, but knowning it would be the same amount of matcha that was in the drink I got today doesn't make me confident that the latte wouldn't just taste like an $8 green milk.

Loved trying matcha here and was surprised I was able to find street parking nearby! Decor of the shop, seating area and drinks were super cute! Drinks themselves... I ended up only trying one twice - the white chocolate peppermint matcha latte with oat milk - both iced and hot. I loved the iced version so much - probably my favorite drink of last year - I came back for a second but for some reason they made it hot instead of iced... oh well. Decided to just try it anyways but in my opinion the iced is the way to go. Matcha was a great flavor and blended well, not too sweet and just so good. The other option I was interested in was not available. However the price point for this particular drink was high (around $11) - other drinks were more reasonably priced but the price definitely makes me think twice about coming more regularly when in the area. Still super yummy though.

This is my favorite LA location! They are always so friendly and welcoming here. The ginger turmeric and the yuzu lemonade Matcha or my go to! They are consistent and always made well. You get the buzz of a coffee naturally. Cute sitting area and easy metered parking all around. Highly recommended!

The Purple Drink and the Matcha Draft from Cha Cha Matcha are so good! If you're a fan of Lavender, Ube and matcha, the Purple drink is for you. We ordered it with oat milk and was very surprised at how tasty it was! The matcha draft is also very delicious! Not as sweet as the Purple Drink but does have vanilla, honey, and oat milk, making it a winner in my book! These two drinks came out very quickly and we were in and out within 5 min. There are seats inside and outside to hang out with your drinks. It's a cute place to hang out with friends and have a tasty treat! I'll definitely be coming back for more.

Such cute corner spot! The color scheme reminds me of some tropical place that sits well with sun and even after the rain. The vibe is so relaxing here. There is outdoor overhead heaters too. I do wish the music choice would be more tropically vs. hip hop as It def exudes that vibe more! Got the berry smoothie and cold brew matcha. It was so creamy and strong matcha flavor without it being over powering with bitterness. They do say sourced from Japan exclusively! The matcha is added and mixed fresh as you see it so it's def a good flavor. If you'd like to buy a packet yourself it is $55 for a small packet that will last a month! Damn it's too matcha! I'd stick to them making it for me for $7! The smoothie was about $14 which was quite in the high end in my humblest opinion. But hey melrose is not a place you count your dollars. The merch area is so darn cute. Spoke to my color scheme of pink and greeneries. I was so tempted to get all the cups and sweaters too! Will def be back for all the other matcha matcha flavors!

Ummmm, I can't get enough of the purple drink with matcha! This is the cutest spot with the best matcha, yummy gluten free treats and sweet humans serving all this greatness. If you're in LA and want to people watch and possibly run into a few celebrities, this is the place to be! I usually order my matcha with their house made dairy free milks and love it! Staff is always super sweet and there's barely ever a wait!

Very nice location to visit for some cha cha coffee! The baristas took they time to make our beverages and we absolutely love them!!! The ambiance is very pink and I love the plants everywhere as well as outdoor seating! Drinking this matcha now, I can say I love the earthy taste stop by bring your squad!

Very cute and convenient location on Abbot Kinney! As a matcha-lover, I ordered a strawberry matcha latte. I appreciate how much ice they put because it's extra refreshing. But, when people say "matcha tastes like seaweed," they're talking about matcha like this. Although the strawberry flavor is yummy and pleasant, the actual matcha aftertaste is not my personal preference. Service is really great! Although I don't recommend it if you're looking for authentic ceremonial matcha, I would be interested in trying their other drinks.

Came in at around 5 p.m. on a Thursday and there wasn't a line, but some of the tables and chairs were taken. Drinks were made quickly and the cafe is a great place to take some pictures. I got the Purple drink with matcha (+$2), which tasted more like cinnamon toast crunch with a hint of lavender rather than ube. Still good though. The drink came out to be $9 which is soo expensive even though it's LA.

Loved this place. Their matcha is definitely quality. Got their soft serve and the purple drink on my first visit-both were good. On my second visit, got the matcha latte and their smoothie. The smoothie was a bit overpriced but matcha was still as good. Definitely recommend this place for matcha lover-nice outdoor seatings to grab a few matcha drinks and catch up or chat with friends.

Recently went to this location and had a very negative experience. Jonathan (I believe) was very rude to me while taking my order. He was also not wearing a uniform or apron while being behind the bar which seems very unhygienic. The drinks were very pretty but were chalky and not mixed well. Would not recommend coming here. After some researching about the brand, I found some deeply problematic things about their founders. It might not affect whether you do business with them in the future but thought you should all know where your money is going.

I've come here a few times while running around LA. Their matcha is so tasty!! I wish they would open a location in Orange County (fingers crossed). I love the draft matcha! Perfect amount of sweetness. The LA location is super cute with an outdoor patio space where you can sit with your pup. They even have merch inside. Love this spot and love their matcha!!

Ordered the draft matcha latte & strawberry matcha! Both were yummy but I did like the draft matcha better! It was smooth, sweetness was perfect. The place looks really pretty and clean! I did have trouble finding parking but other than that everything was great! Service was amazing, the girls were so sweet.

Super bright and airy store with friendly baristas! I tried the Draft Matcha Latte and for personal preference i think it could be stronger in matcha flavor. I could definitely taste the quality of their milks though - I would just recommend ordering something else if you wanted stronger matcha.

We were walking around Melrose and wanted a pit stop for a refreshing dessert and to take a break from the sun. The matcha lattes looked really pretty, but I opted for the matcha soft serve instead. It's a huge portion and can easily be shared! There's some nice outdoor seating to sit and relax as well as a bathroom in the back that was relatively clean. I wouldn't come out of my way to come to this location, but if you're in the area and want some matcha this is a solid pit stop!

Cha cha matcha.. let's talk about ! This is the cutest matcha bar ever ! The aesthetics of this place are super gorgeous, they also have plenty of places to sit inside or outside. Parking can be a little tricky but make sure to pay the meter because they do ticket you out here. The customer service here is great! The whole menu is so pretty and unique I loved how everything is literally matcha !! I love matcha and have been on a matcha kick so I was so excited to come here. We ordered the strawberry matcha which was good and the purple drink which has lavender, taro, matcha and CBD. Personally the drink was way too sweet for me. Overall thoughts.. Gorgeous place but the matcha was way too sweet for me.

This drink and location is so aesthetically pleasing. It's funny how cute the drink looks against the wall. I had my doubts about the flavor, but it didn't disappoint. And after a couple sips it leaves you wanting more. Didn't know if strawberry and matcha would work together but they do. Service was great. It's on Abbott Kinney so expected a long wait. It was surprisingly fast.

This is the best location they have. The draft is so much better here than at Venice. And the staff is sooo sweet. Especially Juno! Very kind and explained all the vegan drink options for my sister and I. Love this place!

Lovely little matcha cafe in West Hollywood with great outdoor seating. Delicious nitro draft matcha lattes with just a touch of sweetness paired great with their chocolate banana bread. Will definitely come back.
