Absolutely in love with this place! It’s not every day you find a flower shop that also serves boba tea. And they do both incredibly well. The shop is charming, the vibe is peaceful, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. You can tell they really care about both their blooms and their brews. Highly recommended!

We have been fans of Cha since their food truck days. Their menu and offerings just keeps getting better and better. Such delicious fresh food and drinks in a friendly and inviting atmosphere. And I love love that they strive to build community in creative ways. We all need more of that. Thank you guys for what you do for Waco!!!

As one who has lived in many places abroad, I love the authentic flavors this shop brings to Waco. The food is always delicious and fresh. They are friendly and supportive of the community in Waco!

Wow. Went here during lunch with my wife. We were pleasantly surprised! Definitely an underrated downtown Waco spot. Loved the dumpling box, the cucumber salad was so good and tasted so fresh! We also got dumpling soup and the strawberry matcha. There are tons of tables and they have a super nice mural painted on the wall!

I spent the day in Waco and stumbled upon this cute café that had a delicious strawberry matcha I’d love to have again. The sweetness balanced off with the matcha so well, I’d honestly make the drive back just for it!!

Based on Google, this is the best milk tea shop in this area, and I would have to say yes since there’s not a lot of options. I was only visiting Waco and wanted to try Cha Community and their milk tea. I’m asian so I support Asian-owned business. The location was nice, it’s clean, plenty of seating, staff are friendly. The milk tea itself were good! I tried two. - Iced Matcha with Boba 10/10 I love their matcha, it tastes high quality. The tapioca boba is also good! - Pandan Milk Coconut Tea 6/10 I was so excited to see a familiar flavor that I grew up with. Pandan! However, I was disaappointed. It tasted like a canned coconut water drink, there was no creaminess or milky about it. I wanted to throw it away but because it’s almost $8 for this, I finished it but won’t recommend, and I am a coconut and pandan lover myself. I hope to come back and try maybe just adding the pandan flavored syrup to my matcha or regular brown sugar milk tea. - Takoyaki 6/10 It’s not THAT bad, but I think how it was presented to me, it is more likely a frozen takoyaki from asian mart that you heat up in the microwave. It was flat on the other side rather than rounded all throughout. I also don’t know if they just ran out of the toppings but there was uneven amount of mayo/kewpie. Only one side of my takoyaki has mayo. Also, where is the bonito flakes??? It’s more like bonito dust! Because there were barely any. Who knows, maybe they ran out that day (Saturday lunch time 1pm) I also noticed there isn’t any Taro flavored drink? That’s like one of the essential flavors when you go to an Asian milk tea/boba shops. I’m surprised they have it as seasonal only. I hope they add Taro flavor as permanent on their menu. Overall, I’m just happy that there is something like this in Waco. Hope to see more unique and underrated Asian flavors!

I was able to visit the Waco for the 2nd time last December. I was super happy to know their service is the same as in Temple. I got my usual order of Tawainese Cold Noodles (get some and thank me later) and I waited for a little bit. I wanted to order in real time and not just ahead. It was a short wait. I ended buying some merch stuff. Cha Community's food fueled my pregnancy a couple years ago. I can't stop coming back. Their food and drinks are so good. The staff is always friendly! I will always visit either locations whenever I'm able to be in Texas and you should too!

Yelp
I'm from the Bay Area so naturally -- I'm a boba snob. I have to call out good boba when I have it especially if it's out of the competing foodie scene of California. We spent the afternoon venturing through Waco, and wanted to pick up a refresher before heading back to the house. The consensus in the car was to stop for boba. This shop itself is super spacious and offers plenty of seating to get some laptop time in. We ordered our drinks based on the recommendations from the barista and were well on our way within 10 minutes of stopping in. My tea was not too sweet just as I requested and the toppings were generously added based on preferences. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area. Support local small businesses y'all!

Yelp
I was surprised that Cha Community was right across from Splendid Oaks. I didn't recognize it until I found it on Google Maps. My friend shared that their food was legit, so we decided to stop by for lunch. We ordered pork belly, Taiwanese cold noodles, coffee, and sparkling blood orange lemonade. Everything was good, but the Taiwanese noodles were surprisingly spicy! They were delicious and flavorful, but the spice threw me off a bit. We enjoyed everything, as it was far better than I expected. We will be stopping by again to try other items on the menu!

Elaine M.

Yelp
I love this tea shop! It's so cute and the vibe so chill. Parking might be a little confusing, you can park at the open lot across the street. We were visiting from Dallas and needed a cozy spot to read, get a drink, do some drawing, this place was very comfortable. I got a chai latte with almond milk and it was perfect. I wish we hadn't just eaten lunch because I didn't get to try the savory snacks (Taiwanese snacks are the best!). We already decided we were going to hit this place up first the next time we are in the area.

Hope G.

Yelp
Dumplings were tasty. Wish they served with beef and not just pork. Tea with mango bubbles was delicious.

Leah C.

Yelp
I heart cha community! The octopus balls were mega yum and the book shelf has a great assortment of books

Net A.

Yelp
It was a warm day so to cool off we drove here to get refreshed. Just made a quick stop to order cold drinks. I had the Wacoco Organic coconut black tea with a house sweetener and oat milk tea and mango popping boba. My son had Bee U Green Tea, Jasmine green tea with strawberry puree. Well my drink was delicious with every silent popping mango boba inside my mouth made my warm day entertaining and cool!!!

Isabella M.

Yelp
My favorite Boba place in Waco! As a Baylor student I love when they have the boba truck on campus! The Waco location is a really nice study spot with very friendly staff. Fun place to hang out with friends and play games too. Their dumplings are really good and I also love their takoyaki! My go to drink is the Jasmine milk tea or the Wacoco.

Josh C.

Yelp
The boba hits just right. Surprised that Waco has a legit boba shop. The place has a lot of open tables to study and the wifi is reliable. Note, the parking lot is the sandy lot across from Cha Community. You can also just park along the street in front of the place.

Lauryn P.

Yelp
Stopped in on a drive through Waco, and this place almost made me think about staying in town for a while. Probably the best curry dish I've ever had. The cabbage was the perfect addition to the curry, which wasn't as flavorful on its own. The portion size was pretty large for $10 and left me feeling full for the rest of the day. I also had a strawberry matcha latte at 50% sweetness, which I'd recommend getting a bit sweeter if that's what you're after. The interior felt really trendy and cozy, and there were a few children's books available in English and Mandarin to flick through while waiting. They also offer a small selection of pan dulce by the register, which looked very tempting.

Lauren P.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, awesome food, delicious boba! This local spot is homie and welcoming.

Jennifer V.

Yelp
After visiting Magnolia we wanted to get some boba for the road before heading back to Austin . There is parking a cross the street and a few spots in the front. The recommended not to park on the side because it belongs to another business and you will get towed The shop is cute and a nice place to sit and study . The drink itself was not that great. The tea was ok but the boba didn't have that chewy consistency and were a bit on the hard side . Unfortunately this is one of the few boba places around the Waco area

Lori S.

Yelp
Where do I begin?!? Our experience with Devin and Cha Community who catered our daughter's wedding in Waco, Texas at the Palladium was absolutely wonderful! From our first contact to closing the doors after the reception: there are not enough stars!! Everything and everyone arrived on time! Set up seemed effortless and smooth. The food was delicious! We had dumplings, cold noodles, pork bellies, Gua bao, chick pea curry, and cucumber salad (soo many people loved the cucumber salad!!) ALL was OMG delicious! The servers were kind, pleasant and so helpful and Devin stayed to help and make sure everything went perfectly! We also used a Boba Tea Bar and it was truly enjoyed by all! I highly recommend using Cha Community to cater your next event! Thank you Davin and Jaja - you have done Waco proud!

Dwayne O.

Yelp
Waco Cha Went to the store front next to Alpha Omega, their service was very quick and good. Galaxy Lemonade was a purple color lemonade, was okay nothing that would get me excited. Milk Tea with Boba is a favorite among the college crowd and they will come back for their Boba drinks. They generally are at the Saturday and Sunday Farmers Market. Some of their t-shirts are fun and popular.

Julie H.

Yelp
My friend and I had seen this place on Instagram, so we stopped by when we were hanging out in Waco. Drinks: 5/5 I got the galaxy lemonade, which was really good! It was refreshing, and it wasn't too tart. My friend got the strawberry matcha, and she said that it tasted good too. Boba: 3/5 The boba itself had a subtle hint of sweetness, which made it tasty! Unfortunately the texture of it was way too soft, instead of being firmer and chewier like I've typically had at other boba places.

Gabriella F.

Yelp
Great tasting Matcha and Boba! The place is cute, love the bar sitting in front of the window. Perfect for a gloomy day! Great customer service!.

Sylvia A.

Yelp
Wasn't a big fan of boba until i came to this place!! Now I'm obsessed, especially with the brown sugar boba! The staff is super friendly and the place is so cute and cozy!! Would recommend to anyone who needs a new regular boba place!

Andrea M.

Yelp
Great drinks. We had the Brown sugar boba and the Thai Tea and they were both delicious. We have been looking for a good boba spot and this is the best we've been to in Waco. Great environment as well.

Madelyn T.

Yelp
They always have great food, drinks, and friendly service! I took my girlfriend for the first time today and the food was so good she didn't even notice she was eating the paper along with her bao bun. We had a nice meal and a nice laugh.

KC O.

Yelp
Cha Community is amazing! The drinks are great and the food, as well! Inside is cozy, with character. Service was professional and prompt. They also have books and games to keep you/your family entertained. I love this place!

Katie R.

Yelp
TLDR; Best Boba in Waco, period! Get some ASAP. My Favorites: Vietnamese Coffee (25% Sweetened, Extra Boba ); Milky Way (25% Sweetened, Extra Boba); Galaxy Lemonade . I've been to multiple boba places in Waco, and the care and dedication Waco Cha puts into crafting their drinks definitely shows - I haven't gotten something that I HAVEN'T liked yet! I also have introduced friends who don't like Boba to Waco Cha and they love the drinks too, even without the Boba. Vibe of the store is really chill, too. This is a 5-star Waco gem with a great mission to help build strong communiTEA! Love it!

Giana P.

Yelp
Anyone that knows me knows I love boba tea. Waco Cha is the real deal. It's so fresh and authentic, and by far the best place to get boba tea in Waco. It's not powdery and artificial like some other places can be. You can tell the ingredients are 100% real. Also, the options are plentiful. So many different teas to pick! The artwork outside and inside the building is so incredible. I'm a huge fan. Another wonderful thing about Waco Cha is how invested in the community they are. I first had Waco Cha at the Waco Farmer's Market and am thrilled they have a food truck and a store front. Waco Cha is amazing! Go, go, go if you have not been!

Michael D.

Yelp
Update: I have tried their dumplings and coming from someone who has never had them, I really enjoyed them :) I still think parking is not the Best but it's not something that can be changed.

Sofia M.

Yelp
Fantastic boba!! We are boba snobs from Maryland and were very impressed with Cha Community. The store itself is SO cute, the people working there are incredibly friendly, and the food options are so inclusive. Make this a stop when you visit!

Hannah Elizabeth B.

Yelp
We love Waco Cha! My family and I were planning a trip to Waco and stumbled across Waco Cha on instagram. My brother in law grew up in Taiwan and they are always looking for authentic bubble tea experiences. Waco Cha did not disappoint. We hunted their truck down TWICE at an antique store and at the farmers' market- and it was so worth it. They hold a special place in their community and also offer excellent and authentic bubble tea with various options.

Claire H.

Yelp
There was a trailer at family weekend. They kept the line moving and grooving. The Milky Way (25% sweetness + tapioca boba) was amazing. My new favorite boba place!

Candice K.

Yelp
So good! We ordered two large orders of the pork and veggie dumplings. Whenever I order dumplings, I tend to expect frozen Ling Ling potstickers so I was really impressed by these! The veggie had edamame which I never had before. You can choose 2 sides and we went for the Asian slaw and cucumber salad. It really helped balance out the dumplings. My favorite was the cucumber salad - it was a perfect marinade of sweet and sour

Madi A.

Yelp
I've been coming here almost daily for months. Fantastic drinks, quality, and service. I love that all the drinks are fresh and not made from artificial powders like some other tea spots in Waco. My favorite is the matcha, but I love every drink I've tried and their from-scratch dumplings. It's a great environment to study, meet people, and relax. Parking is not as difficult as other reviews make it seem - park right in front of the store (street parking), or across the street in the lot.

Christy R.

Yelp
Easy to find and park, just make sure you park in the right in the NeighborWorks grass parking lot and not Alpha Omegas parking lot. Cute tables and spaces for sipping boba with friends. I loved the Waco Cha with oat milk. Boba is very good, nice staff with ! A great find in Waco.

Karla B.

Yelp
Seriously one of the BEST milk tea I've ever tried! I'm from Houston and I've had a lot of boba! Really excellent quality, they use organic milk and creamer and you can tell the flavors are authentic versus being from a powder or mix like 99% of milk teas. I got the Milky Way (Thai Tea) and it was perfect at 50% sweetness. All natural and some of the best Thai tea I've had. I've tried to replicate my own Thai Tea at home because I'm tired of the process version and my Thai Tea doesn't even come close Really good!

Holli H.

Yelp
I didn't even go in. my mom wanted some boba and our usual place was out of the bursting balls so i was looking for another place to get her some. saw this is a bubble tea place but the lady was so rude on the phone i didn't even go.

Omkar S.

Yelp
The atmosphere and the employees were personable and friendly! There were even games to play while we waited for 15 minutes with the looming threat of having our car towed. The sole reason that we went there is the only thing that let us down. The boba was bland and tasteless, while the tea itself was rather meh. However, the milk tea was good! Overall, the serving size was relatively small, but the atmosphere made up for it. Lots of cute plants and nice people. Keep the dollar, Devin.

Halie R.

Yelp
I love boba tea and Waco Cha did not disappoint! Honestly, I was pulled in by their business philosophy and values of always using fresh-made teas/syrups and properly cooking their boba. Not to mention three of their staff members are from Norman, so gotta support fellow Norman peeps! I rarely see Butterfly Pea tea on any menu, so I was stoked to see their Galaxy Lemonade option (pictured). Got it with 50% sugar and boba and WOW, it was delish! Second trip I got the Milky Way with 50% sugar, boba, and oat milk - I'd increase to 75% sugar next time, but still really enjoyed it! Location is great, love their value for community, and would totally hang out in their tea shop if we lived locally. Check it out!

Kirsten M.

Yelp
Amazing authentic Taiwanese milk teas. Love the Matcha Cha-tte and Wacoco (coconut black tea with honey and oat milk). Boba is done perfectly, staff is so kind & helpful. Love the new storefront but it's always fun to find their truck at the Downtown farmer's market or elsewhere! Drinks are a little pricey but you pay for the great quality and get it every time. Love this place!!

Adilene C.

Yelp
Best bubble tea! Best service and great response time. If ever have a question they are quick to respond and always always helpful! I am fan of all teas, I can not do matcha anywhere else

Kristi R.

Yelp
Amazing tea! And a nice place to study. Don't be afraid to try something new here. The team is always nice here.

Sarah M.

Yelp
This place is such a gem. The drinks are DELICIOUS and the atmosphere is really neat. I love the live plants, fun wall mural and the section curated for kids. The owners have thought of everything!

liliana a.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful atmosphere & milk tea!! If you're in Waco & craving something sweet... this place is an absolute MUST!! Will definitely be coming again :)

Seir L.

Yelp
I'm prefacing this review by saying that I'm a frequent customer of Waco Cha and I love their amazing boba and overall aesthetic, ambiance, and community philosophy. They're pretty consistent when it comes to their tasty boba and I have never visited to find out they're out of boba, read my 1102 review to know what I'm talking about. I love the atmosphere and service is pleasant, not Chick-fil-A-type service, but pleasant enough. This might not be the most popular opinion, but I would like a more efficient cover for the drinks, one that avoids constant drink spills. I love the plastic seals that most boba places put on their drinks. I love to flip my cup upside down and shake up my bubbles at the bottom to avoid drinking the syrup with the first sips; however, I find that when I stir the drink at WC, I'm constantly reaching for napkins due to spills. The lids are not very efficient. One other thing, maybe a more varied menu, even if it is limited, might entice additional customers. When I travel to other cities, I love ordering smoothies or slushes (lychee or passion fruit flavored). In my opinion, these recommendations would make Waco Cha the absolute best boba shop in Texas!!

R D.

Yelp
Love this comfy little place. The matcha and Vietnamese coffee are my favorites so far.

Melisa R.

Yelp
I had the wacoco drink and it was delicious. The interior is also super cute and they have board games you can play with friends. Can't wait to go back go Texas to try this place out again!

Carlos G.

Yelp
Waco Cha is the best bubble tea you will ever try. Bar none. I have had bubble tea all over the US but Waco Cha truly is the best you can get. Their tea is sourced from the best local ingredients, you can customize your sweetness, and they have lots of cool flavors and drink combinations. Come to Waco Cha and try REAL bubble tea, just like the kind you would get overseas. Can't recommend this place enough!

Megan P.

Yelp
The BEST tea!! I make an effort to go every Saturday to the Farmers market just so I can get one of their drinks. The owners and people working are always so friendly. I love that they not only make good tea, but are looking for ways to build community in Waco and they are doing that through something they love and have a passion for. My favorite drink is the Milky Way, but can't go wrong with any! Can't say enough good things.

Cindy M.

Yelp
The Milkyway is AMAZING! I've been here so many times and it never fails. Also loved the service!! I believe my server was Emily. Can't recommend enough!

Jasmine S.

Yelp
This was my second time having milk tea, first time having boba. I ordered the Milky Way (Thai Tea) at 75% sweetness and it was delicious!! They have grab and go only + online order pickup options currently due to COVID. Even with the adjustments, my experience as first time customer was A1. The server allowed me to sample and was patient in explaining the menu, best sellers, etc. She also apologized for the wait, which was appreciated. I can't wait until it's safe to dine in again because the atmosphere was super cute & extremely study friendly. I'll definitely be returning & would highly recommend.

Maddie B.

Yelp
Okay I have very, very high standards for Boba after growing up in Irvine, California and I absolutely love Waco Cha!! Their drink blends are fantastic (try the Milky Way!!) and the boba is cooked so well. If you're trying to find good boba in Waco, it's so worth it to chase them down!

Jaidyn K.

Yelp
I can't wait to go back to this place! My tea was unique (I've never had bubble tea with oat milk or their wonderful honey/honey syrup they add) and the service was spectacular. I live three hours from Waco and find myself contemplating making the drive just for this place... pretty illogical unless you've tried it.

M M.

Yelp
Really wish I could leave a good review for a local business... But product was not up to standards. The milk teas we got were very dilute, hardly any tea flavor, and the boba was extra soft and not chewy as expected. Honestly I make milk tea at home that is better. If I come back I will try something other than the jasmine green tea and the Vietnamese coffee, but I won't go out of my way to return. Also- there was a really strong, bad smell in the building when we went.

Ryan T.

Yelp
I love the product(it's so good!). But more importantly I love the people behind the product. They're making bridges in cultures using authentic and high quality tea. It's Waco based and owned. Did I say it tastes good? Can't give enough praise to them! Give it a try.

Scott B.

Yelp
This company is the premiere bubble tea vendor in the Waco area. Always friendly service and literally everything is delicious and refreshing. In particular, the boba, coconut jelly and aloe are fantastic add-ins. Find them around Waco, check their Instagram page for Truck hours and details. What is cool is that they park outside of partner companies stores. Get yours and you will be a fan of Waco Cha for life.
