"It’s understandable if you’ve never actually noticed the taco cart in Back Bay Station, since shutting down all sensory receptors is the best strategy for walking through that place. But this taco and burrito cart in the lobby off Dartmouth Street is one of your best bets for quick and cheap Mexican food on your lunch break. The meat is tender and flavorful, you can have a meal for under $15, and the burritos are noticeably grease-free, which is nice if you plan on walking and burrito-ing at the same time." - dan secatore

"In what’s essentially the basement of the SuitSupply store on Newbury, you’ll find Cafe Susu - a cool coffee shop complete with a green velvet couch and matching leafy wallpaper. There’s surprisingly good coffee here, cocktails and beer are served throughout the day, and the wifi is also relatively fast. So you can foreseeably work remotely with a cappuccino in one hand and an Aperol Spritz in the other, right alongside tailors that are hemming suits - making it one of the most unique spots in the city." - joel ang, dan secatore

"The next time your plan to spend as little time as possible in Back Bay Station backfires, resulting in you missing your train, console yourself at Cha Cha Cha. The tacos and burritos sold at this cart in the lobby are not only affordable, but they’re seriously flavorful with really tender meat. We’ve heard stories that, if you’re crying, they’ll give you a taco for free, too - but maybe don’t risk upsetting your emotional balance just to save $2.85." - Dan Secatore

I have been here twice, but the experience and food/drinks were inconsistent. First time: I got the brown sugar boba milk, which was tasty. The boba was cooked well, sweet, and warm because it was fresh. I also got the chocolate and original smiley egg waffles. I liked the chocolate more because the original was a bit too dry. The gooey-ness and sweetness of the chocolate helped balance this. Second time: It was busy this day, and both my drink (black sesame milk tea) and egg waffles (taro) took a super long time (~30 minutes). You can see the stark difference in the quality of the egg waffles the second time compared to the first. However, I liked the taro and would rank it second of the three flavors. The black sesame milk tea was pretty bad because the black sesame flavor was very subtle, and it felt like I was mostly drinking watered-down milk. Ambiance: There is some seating inside, but it can get quite crowded being on Newbury Street.

Google
One of the many options for bubble tea on Newbury st but it does standout with their egg waffles. The egg waffles looked very cute and the taste matched the look. They were very fluffy and had the right amount of chocolate to change the taste but not overpower. The bubble tea was pretty standard and nothing too exciting. The signature fruit tea I got had good tea flavor but all the different fruit flavors got lost in the jumble.

Google
We got one medium size brown sugar bubble tea (oat milk) I want it hot but staff told that this one can only do no ice; and one large size brown sugar bubble latte (oat milk). Bubble is chewy and covered with brown sugar, for me the drink is too milky and sweet but my friend pretty likes it. Maybe I’ll order iced one next time to balance the sweetness or try their tea specials. Latte one has stronger coffee flavor more than milk - truly a coffee drink! Could give it a try if you want less sweet and some caffeine. There are seats indoors, a good place to take a rest while wandering along Newbury street.

Google
The best egg waffles (sometimes called egg puffs) in Boston! Large size, housed in an adorable egg carton, with multiple flavors (I like the chocolate best, but they also have taro and regular), and have an excellent texture. Bubble tea is also good!

Nichole Licata

Google
Went specifically for the egg waffles which they said they don’t offer anymore. I got a milk tea 50% sugar with boba and it wasn’t my favorite. There was only one employee during lunch managing all of the orders.

Google
CHA FEO during Open Newbury Street days serves really sweet Strawberry Tanghulu and crispy Chinese Crepes! The sugar is always freshly glazed and delicious to bite into. That's the only time I would really consider getting a snack or bite to eat there. The drinks are always good though! They also serve those waffles eggs as well, but I find them to be really dry in comparison to Yi Fang. Yi Fang has better waffle bites with fresh boba inside of it. This location gets busy pretty easily so you tend to wait a while but it's not as bad as waiting in the Gongcha lines on Newbury!

Melody Cao

Google
We got the cute egg waffles and they were so cute!!! It comes in a cute egg carton too! Great photo ops :) the taste was good, but it wasn’t anything special. Just tasted like a regular waffle, honestly kind of dry. The happy face, shape, and packaging creativity is really what you’re paying for. Also it was quite expensive, around $7 after tax for 6 cute waffle eggs. Seating area is a bit small, but I like the decor!

Google
Best Passion fruit green tea I have drank so far in Boston. Don’t think 6.95 is expensive, it already includes Boba and lychee jelly. Must try it(passion fruit green tea), it won’t let you down. However, white peach oolong is pretty normal to me, gotta order 50 percent above sugar, otherwise it taste like water, but they have add sugar service which is great.

Yelp
I came to this cafe several months ago and ordered 6 smiley egg waffles (3 of the chocolate and 3 of the custard flavor). The egg waffles were stored in a 6 slot egg container. They were so cute! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to enjoy the waffles inside because it was very hot inside the cafe. I guess the A/C was not working. They were blowing fans inside the shop but it didn't really help. However, I would come back for the waffles might be on a cooler day.

Chris P.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and got a Durian Deluxe with white boba. It was pretty expensive at $13.86, but I am guessing that's because it's a boba tea shop on Newbury St (I have had durian shakes elsewhere and they were not nearly as expensive). That said, it was delicious and probably was one of the best smoothie type drinks I've ever had. I was not a fan of the white boba though, which have a crunchier texture to them. The inside of the store is clean and has plenty of seating, but it was oddly humid inside. My friend I was with got a tea/juice drink and she said she liked it a lot. Overall, I would definitely come back to Cha Feo; I think I would just try something else less expensive next time.

Jenny N.

Yelp
Cha Feo has some limited seating indoors with additional stables/chairs outdoors. Very cozy and warm vibes. Really nice place to sit and catch up with your friends. Service was quick and friendly, they were able to recommend some customer favorites to us as it was our first time going. I got the signature fruit tea (less sweet less ice) with crystal boba. My friend got their passionfruit tea which already comes with boba and lychee jelly. The tea quality is decent and the tea-flavor and fruit flavors are nicely balance, but it was a tad too sweet for me so I would consider getting even less sweet. We got the egg puffs in the original flavor (seems like taro is always out?) and while very cute and made fresh, we felt that it was quite dry in the middle and not as crispy like a traditional egg puff waffle. Maybe the chocolate chip one would have better moisture/flavor. I also stopped by their stall during open newbury street and got their Tanghulu. You pay inside the store and present the receipt at the stall. Everything was made fresh, the strawberry was so sweet and fresh with the thin coating of crystalized sugar on the outside for the perfect crunch. Definitely will try to go back to get their pancake too. Overall a nice shop offering a variety of tea and snacks. I will come back!

Yelp
3.5/5 We came here during open Newbury and got the egg waffles and jian bing. It's cool because they make the jian bing fresh on the street in front of you, but I thought it could have used more sauce all around (and the added sausage for $3 was not worth it). The egg waffles were very standard - fluffy and moist but nothing special

Brooke C.

Yelp
I'm sad they discontinued their egg puffs :( that was my primary reason for going here. I still got the signature fruit tea with lychee popping boba and it was very good. There wasn't enough seating for me to enjoy my drink sitting down though - I went at 7pm on a Thursday. I enjoyed my tea nonetheless.

Marlene C.

Yelp
I absolutely loved the ambiance and service!! I decided to quickly stop by and grab the chocolate chip egg puffs! they have two options and a variety of teas! - what I absolutely loved, was their customer service! The girls told me "sorry for the wait but we're redoing some because they were messed up" They TRULY CARE ABOUT QUALITY! 10/10 recommend

Yelp
My favorites at Cha Feo are the watermelon slush (with cheese foam) and black sesame milk tea. Their cheese foam tastes great- rich, good balance of sweetness and saltiness. They have new items once in a while and seasonal drinks. Space is a small so dining in environment is not that great.

Jasmine L.

Yelp
Super cute interior and even cuter egg puffs!! They have two flavor options - original and chocolate chip. We got the chocolate egg puff and it was pretty tasty! If you let it cool for an hour, the cake taste becomes more prominent so my mom actually preferred it cold. When it's fresh and hot, the texture is more fluffy but the flavor isn't as prominent. The menu made it seem like chocolate chip would have a lot of chocolate filling, but when you take a bite, there are only like 5 tiny chocolate chips per egg. The Oreo milk tea was pretty good and they give a very generous amount of boba. I really like the interior vibes of this place and you can take super cute pictures with your egg puffs~

Kristen C.

Yelp
Lesser known/popular tea place located on Newbury st. My tea came out perfect- no complaints. They put the perfect amount of lychee and boba. Price was reasonable for Boston. I would visit again.

Kelly Z.

Yelp
Look how adorable these egg waffles are! They made it fresh and it was pretty quick service and they came out perfect! We got 1/2 taro and 1/2 regular custard flavor and they were so so so fluffy and it just warms your soul. I am in love with these little waffle bites! The taro flavor is super subtle and gives a great texture everything was perfect! The tonghulu comes frozen, so you might want to heat it up a little with your hands or wait for it to defrost or else it would be too hard to bite through. Once its a little defrosted it gives the texture of like a frozen great but with more flavor. And after you take off the outer plastic you can eat the inner "film" that looks like plastic. Overall, service was good and food were good and I got some really cute pictures. I had a great experience.

Yelp
Boston boba visit two and super surprised! Off the ratings on Google and Yelp, I had minimal expectations compared to other boba on Newbury. A callout by others was the brown sugar, but I like adjusting sugar and ice, both of which are sometimes not alterable at other spots for brown sugar fresh milk drinks. It was pretty busy on a Friday so I opted to just go with the house order instead of asking questions, happy with it too. Price does feel a bit high for a large (over $7 with boba) but I'm not super familiar with Boston prices yet. Egg waffles are pretty cute. I like the literal take on egg waffles in a dozen as the typical sell is a bubble waffle. Chinese Style Classic Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Boba - first of all, great boba! Actual brown sugar boba, evident by the sweet taste. Maybe not around Boston, but many spots advertise brown sugar boba just to give regular boba that's chewy but flavorless. The boba was a firmer chewy, as if it were cooked just long enough to not be considered undercooked. This firmness adds an extra "bounce" that sort of resists your chew, which is a pro in my book. Tea itself was very creamy, very much a house milk tea. Definitely a black tea base and while not powerful, it was somewhat evident. At 25% sugar with brown sugar boba, the drink was still a bit sweet because of the boba sugar coating. I would probably opt for 0% in the future with boba, just noting that the boba itself will add more sweetness to your drink.

Yelp
We came into Cha Feo during one of the Open Newbury Street weekends and were drawn in by their food stall right outside their physical store. We were really excited to try some of their food as we have seen a lot of excitement around Cha Feo on social media. We ordered their Chinese Style Classic Milk Tea with Tofu Pudding, Strawberry Tanghulu, and Chinese Crepe (Jianbing) with Sausage. Our drink was prepared inside the store and we had to pick up the other two items from their stall outside. Although we were most excited about the jianbing, it was unfortunately what we were most disappointed by. It lacked a lot of flavor and our added sausage did very little to salvage the taste. I also wished that it would be packed in a more hands friendly way as this dish is meant to be picked up instead of trying to eat it with their provided forks out of a styrofoam box. I did appreciate that they made them fresh to order and that you are able to watch the process. However, for the price of $9.95 with an additional $1.95 for the sausage, I would not order it again. The tanghulu was pretty good! The sugar coating is a bit thicker than what I am used to, which can make eating it a bit hard with all of the sharp edges that are harder to melt, but the strawberries were juicy and sweet. I also enjoyed their milk tea, it was creamy and just sweet enough where you can still taste the tea. I was also very excited to see tofu pudding as a topping choice, which is an uncommon find. The service experience at Cha Feo wasn't the best. To start, they have an outdated menu pasted near the ordering area which has items that are no longer on the menu. There is no indication that this is an older menu and it looks the same as the other menus in the store. I originally ordered an item they didn't have and because the store was loud, I couldn't hear the staff telling me they no longer made it. When I tried to proceed with my order, the staff seemed impatient with me and was not very helpful in offering an alternative. Additionally, Cha Feo charges an additional $0.50 for cold drink orders with no ice. This is not yet a common practice for other bubble tea stores so I am not tempted to come back. Lastly, as some folks have already pointed out, there are open food containers near the front of the store. I assume these are placed for easy access for their outdoor stand but does not seem to be the most sanitary and food safe practice. Overall, my experience with Cha Feo was a mediocre one. If you really want to try Jianbing I would say to give it a try here and order a drink but otherwise, I would probably skip visiting if you are in the area.

Victoria N.

Yelp
Had the strawberry tanghulu on their secret menu on Sundays during "Open Newbury Street". It was such a unique treat that I've been wanting to try for a while! Such a fun treat! Very crunchy and sweet, just as you would expect. Line is long so make sure you order inside quick!

Angelina Z.

Yelp
I came to Cha Feo about 3 years ago when they just opened, and remember being blown away by their black sesame drink. I stopped by again recently, and was overall quite disappointed. First off, there are open food containers at the entrance and by the seating area. I wasn't sure if it was food that was later going to be served to customers--if so, it didn't seem hygienic at all. The black sesame drink also had a very faint sesame taste (overpowering milk flavor). The menu is pretty extensive, so maybe if I came back I'd try a different drink.

Lucy G.

Yelp
I got the Strawberry Tanghulu when Newbury St was open to the public These were some of the best street fruits I've ever had. There was a very long line for these strawberries and the restaurant took care of of the customer in a very excellent manner by assigning ticket numbers. The staff were all very nice people. The reason I'm not giving them five stars is because the shop was very dirty when I went inside to order. All of their trash cans seemed to be overflowing and there was stuff all over the floor.

Joana W.

Yelp
I ordered the black sesame milk tea with boba and lychee with lychee jelly. I like the the lychee drink more than the black sesame even tho the black sesame was one of their top drinks. I didn't care for it because it was quite bland and bitter from the black sesame.

Rav H.

Yelp
I really love Boba tea and have tried so many flavors of Boba tea. I have to say that Cha Leo has a pretty good selection of flavors and are good about specifying the drink to your order (amount of ice, amount of sugar, type of milk, etc.) The thing this particular Boba shop is known for is their egg waffles! Literally waffles shaped like egg! They offer chocolate filling, taro filling and just plain. They were out of the taro filling when I went, so we just got it plain. It was very cute to look at, but taste wise was just like eating slightly dry vanilla cake. I think it might be different if I have it with a filling instead. It is on Newbury street, but we managed to find parking-- it's not impossible! Overall a good place to try if you are in the area, but not anywhere to go out of your way for.

Grier F.

Yelp
Their egg puffs tasted chalky and dry. The one with taro was better since there was filling to help moisten the puffs but the plain ones with no filling are drying. I felt as though I received a lot of attitude for no reason. I'm not sure if I'll be giving them another chance in the future. Their drinks range from $7-9 so basically market price! We go their black sugar boba and the boba was really hard, felt as though it was frozen and microwaved. They weren't completely thawed.

Emily L.

Yelp
Came in for a quick afternoon pick me up and unfortunately left very sorely disappointed with the taro milk tea. It was extremely watered down and did not taste good. The boba was standard and did not stand out. Would recommend avoiding the taro trying other options on the menu should you choose to come here, though we are not sure we would return.

Alice D.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday afternoon and there were a few other folks in the store space - it was a little small, but a decent amount of seating. The person taking orders was diligent with questions and overall very straight to the point - polite with patrons and efficient at making drinks and such. I got my drink within minutes and was out the door quite quickly. The drink itself was pretty good - the tea was well brewed and the bubbles were the perfect texture. The jelly was also super refreshing overall. The price was a little steep and would deter me from coming back super regularly, but for a once in a while visit when walking down Newbury, I thought it was a nice treat!

Merry K.

Yelp
What a treat!!!!! Eggs without the "cholesterol" Took a U turn because a passerby walked by us eating their Egg Cake. Turn out to be a

Coco P.

Yelp
The smell and the sanitation...not very good. It was the first time trying chinese crepes and not that good.

Alee L.

Yelp
The drinks at Cha Feo are ok, I didn't find them tasty. I ordered the black sesame milk tea and I didn't like it, it had too much going on, with tofu and boba. Also, the classic milk tea was bland. The other boba shops' milk tea has a much stronger tea flavor and much creamier. The egg waffle is cute and not sweet, but nothing new besides the presentation. I will be going to other shops for these drinks and won't be back here.

Gennie L.

Yelp
the cake cream milk tea is so good! it tastes like a combination of cake and milk tea. it is incredibly sweet though. their drinks are on the pricier end for boba. medium drinks are about $7 and large drinks are about $8. customer service was excellent. there's a few tables, but many customers often grab and go. they've got a few tea series, including cheezo tea, chafeo dirty special and fresh fruit tea. overall rating: 9/10

Amy C.

Yelp
I've been here a few times while shopping on Newbury St for bubble tea! They have a variety of drinks to choose from which I love! One of my favorites is the black sesame milk tea! It has a strong black sesame flavor which makes it so good! They also recently added these new egg puffs that were so cute! There's original or ones with taro paste and I tried the taro one which was good and they make it fresh! It is a bit pricey though, about $8 for 6 pieces. It's a yummy snack if you're on Newbury St!

My-Linh D.

Yelp
Very cute spot! They have a variety of drinks and I like how they blend the fruits with the drinks. I would say it's in the pricier side but the drinks come with bubble and lychee.

Della S.

Yelp
Sadly I have to echo some of the neutral/negative reviews on here... I love brown sugar bubble milk/milk tea. Most places in Boston make a decent brown sugar bubble milk, and there are a few places that make it really well. I saw some reviews raving about the brown sugar boba milk here so I had to come try it myself. Made the trek to Newbury street, saw the long line, and got very excited. The drink was quite pricey-- a regular sized cup was $6.50, but to be fair they also add cheese foam on top and flame it. My first sip was underwhelming. I was expecting toasty sweetness from the brown sugar syrup and a tart, slight saltiness from the cheese foam. Instead everything just tasted very bland. The pearls themselves were way too firm and had no chew. The brown sugar syrup had no flavor. I couldn't distinguish between the milk and cheese foam. I also got to try the watermelon smoothie cheezo tea. It was pretty refreshing and the watermelon flavor definitely outshined the tea flavor. I like that they have lactose free milk, toppings are 50 cents, and the ice/sweetness is super customizable. But if I'm craving brown sugar boba milk, I will take my wallet elsewhere.

Marni M.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Sunday around noon. A very clean and organized bubble tea shop with the typical variety of options to pick from. I opted for the watermelon smoothie without the cheese top and added regular boba. It was refreshing and light which was exactly what I wanted on that beautiful spring day. A little expensive for boba but still interested in trying other items from their menu.

Merlyn R.

Yelp
The Boba tea was very good but mildly overpriced. I am lactose free, so unfortunately there weren't too many options that also offered tapioca pearls. There are several indoor seating options which is nice on a hot summer day!

Tulsa H.

Yelp
The tea is very good here. This place is quite hidden but worth finding. Delicious tea. Highly recommend trying at least once.

Dannie W.

Yelp
The passion fruit ice tea is not bad. It has passion fruit seeds inside even though I don't like the texture. They added a lot of boba and jelly there so it's fun to chew. The price is not bad.

Clare D.

Yelp
Good drinks but the place was filled with tables covered with other people's trash. My son didn't like the milk cap at the top of his Oreo drink but I liked mine. I think it's the salty cheese foam. The Thai milk tea was delicious.

Jen C.

Yelp
My friend and I came on a Saturday afternoon for a quick pick me up. It was very crowded inside, so I had high hopes. I ordered the black sesame milk tea and my friend ordered the brown sugar milk tea. I'm a huge black sesame fan - I've been searching for black sesame desserts in Boston without much luck. I was super excited to see black sesame on their menu. My friend said that I literally grimaced after my first sip. The taste was very underwhelming. It felt like I was drinking straight up milk - a solid 2/5 for me. I love black sesame, but this drink wasn't it for me. After taking a sip of my friend's brown sugar milk tea, I gave it 3/5 max. She agreed. It wasn't anything special whatsoever. I was also unhappy with how expensive the drinks were for the quality that we received. It's more expensive than Tiger Sugar, but Tiger Sugar tastes much better. I hate to directly compare competitors, but it was the first thought that came to both of our minds. For this price point, we've had much better milk tea elsewhere.

Ansia F.

Yelp
Unfortunately my dragonfruit tea smoothie was bland and totally incorrect. My initial order was wrong. I was given a dragonfruit milk tea. I tried to drink it to avoid going back in line but I really did not enjoy it. My drink was remade however they forgot to add the boba AND they forgot the sugar..by the time I figured this out I was already in an uber. When I got home I ended up tossing it in the trash.

Catherine X.

Yelp
With so many great boba shops in Boston, I would say you're better off getting a drink elsewhere. They do have plenty of seating with cute decor so it could be a great place to work if you're looking to get out. Unfortunately, drink wise, they're nothing special. We ordered the Dragonfruit Smoothie Cheezo Tea and the Passion Fruit Ice tea. The Dragonfruit smoothie was pretty watered down and I ended up tossing it halfway through because it got too watery. I will give props to them for using real fresh fruit but sadly both the consistency and flavor were not great. The Passion Fruit ice tea was fine but a bit on the sour side. Their brown sugar boba was average as well. I really enjoy when my boba balls are still slightly warm, softer, and sweeter. The boba here was pretty much the opposite of all 3 so it didn't quite match up with my personal preferences. I don't think I'll be returning but if you like your boba drinks on the lighter side, this may be the spot for you.

Yerina K.

Yelp
The service was really fast and I didn't need to wait long. I got the signature fruit drink and that was very refreshing! The price is a little up there, but the cup is cute and the place itself was picturesque.

Alexa C.

Yelp
A local insisted I have this coffee before I flew out of Boston on my way home. He described it as the most sensory experience a cup of coffee could ever achieve in his book. Well, I was sold! After scouring Newberry St. looking for it without knowing the name, we found it in the nick of time. I entered on a cold January evening anticipating this delectable treat. The Dirty Coffee Latte is served dine-in only and so I took a seat and awaited this caffeinated concoction. The presentation alone was magnificent in every way. I mean c'mon! That is truly a sight for sore eyes! How did it taste ? Well, It was frothy on top with like a salty foamy covering the creamy coffee underneath resembling a thicker version of a latte. The bottom of the mug was lined in chocolate which I discovered at the end of it. The spoon they included to stir it was made of stone so it perfectly scraped up all the inner pockets of goodness it had since you were instructed to mix it. I had to congratulate them on the most exquisite coffee experience I've ever had. Yes, they sell lots of bubble tea which I am a huge fan of BUT the Dirty Coffee is a must order on some many different levels. It is served cold which is my preference but even if you prefer scalding hot renditions, I'd make an exception for these folks. They truly nailed it!

Anna X.

Yelp
I love going to Cha Feo for their brown sugar boba milk tea! It's the best I've ever tried. It's got the right amount of sweetness and is portioned well for its $6.50 price tag. The boba is usually always top-notch with the perfect amount of chewiness. It's never too soggy or goopy. They top the bev with a good amount of torched cheese foam but you can opt out of it. I loved stopping by here as a pick-me-up during the warmer seasons. No other place compares to Cha Feo when it comes to brown sugar boba milk tea. :- ) The only other thing I've tried from their menu is their Oreo milk tea and it's not one I'd recommend. It was pretty lackluster and uninspiring- not nearly as flavorful as their brown sugar boba milk tea! It wasn't very sweet or had much going on. It was nice to get bits of Oreos in each sip, though!

Victoria C.

Yelp
With so many bubble tea shops on Newbury St, I would bypass this one. I ordered a white peach oolong tea with cheese foam and wasn't too impressed. I wanted to try out something different and really like peach, but the tea itself tasted a little too bitter or over brewed for me. Mixing with the cheese foam added in a touch of sweetness, but I would have preferred a different drink. The inside of the store is very narrow, but they do have some tables and couches to sit and chat. My friend also ordered this drink with boba and enjoyed it much more than me and said the boba had the soft and chewy texture that you'd expect. The workers were nice and this place had people coming in and out for pickup orders as well.

Betty S.

Yelp
My friends and I had a pretty disappointing visit here. With all of the new boba places popping up on Newbury St, we decided to give this one a try. My friends got the jasmine green milk tea which was very underwhelming-- it tasted more of milk than anything else. I got their signature fruit tea, which also wasn't very good (especially compared to the other fruit teas you can get nearby at Yi Fang or Onezo). Considering the price point of this place ($6+ per drink), the quality of the tea is quite lackluster. If you do find yourself here, i'd recommend keeping the sugar level a bit higher so your drink is more enjoyable!

Marvin B.

Yelp
Cha Feo is a solid boba place, but I've definitely had better drinks in the Boston area. I ordered the Taro Milk Tea. It was good, but it was watered down and could have used more taro flavor and sweetness. The cashier stated that they used a non-dairy creamer that is also vegan, which is great! The boba itself was decent and chewy. The staff could be more friendly and welcoming, but the drink came out pretty quickly! I probably won't be actively seeking it when I'm craving boba, but I might stop by again when I'm on Newbury Street!

Jason K.

Yelp
Read this as a 3.5 star review. As the previous review states, grand opening week and accompanying BOGO deal. The decor here seems to be virtually identical to and inherited from the Egalitea Organic Cafe that used to occupy this storefront (prolly the same ownership but not sure). I got the Cake Milk Tea and the Cha Feo House Milk Tea. The Cake Milk Tea did taste like a cake in liquid form and is definitely one of their more unique offerings at this spot. On the other hand, I wasn't wowed by their Cha Feo House Milk Tea which seems to taste like green milk tea. Not particularly sweet and very light, I thought it was pretty much generic tea. I think I might be inclined to try some of their more unique drinks but I am not inclined to come here as my first choice for bubble tea. IG: Mood4foodeatery

Yelp
We ordered Thai milk tea and passion fruit tea. It took 40 min for it to be ready and it is hands down the worst bubble tea we've ever had. Incredibly tasteless.

Yelp
Went on a busy Saturday afternoon so the line was long and trashcan were full. However the service was quick. Even the line was long but my order was taken in a short time. The tea was same as other Bobba place however the brown bobba wasn't fully soft to the center so that fell short. Assuming they were busy therefore they didn't fully cook the bobba but will definitely give them another try if around the area.

Yelp
I got the Four Seasons Green Milk Tea with the caramel cheese foam. My friend recommended trying out the caramel cheese foam, and it did not disappoint. I requested 25% sugar in my drink and between the sweetness of the boba pearls, it was the perfect amount of sweetness for a person who doesn't have much of a sweet tooth. The service was great! They forgot the milk in my milk tea but they were super nice and fixed it quickly. My favorite part of Cha Feo might have to be the cute seating area that they have. It would be a great place to take some cute photos for the gram.

Yelp
The classic milk tea brought me back to Hong Kong. It is creamy and rich of the tea flavor. I'm super picky about milk tea in general so I am ecstatic to have this right on Newbury Street. I was debating between 20 and 50% sugar and settled on the latter, which turned out to be the right choice for me. I'm pretty sad I didn't get two because I drank this so quickly, I will absolutely be back!

Yelp
Got the black sesame milk tea. It originally comes with the white pearls but I asked to swap them with the regular pearls. (But I didn't realize that it was gonna cost me extra to swap them) overall this place has some great quality milk teas with unique flavors and real ingredients. The drinks are a little too heavy for me though in my opinion. They're very rich in flavor. Maybe I should've gotten a fruit tea and would've liked that better. The prices here are on the higher side of what I've seen bubble tea cost but can't complain because their bubble teas aren't basic.

Yelp
cozy indoors and decent seating. there weren't that many people in the shop during a weekend afternoon so that was kind of nice since boba shops tend to get very crowded especially in newbury. but the drinks were a bit disappointing. the jasmine milk teas that my friends got basically tasted like sugary milk/some kind of cream(?), no hint of jasmine green tea in there. and the watermelon iced tea really just tasted like water with a very slight watermelon hint to it. it was like someone blended the rind of the watermelon rather than the flesh. the egg puffs were delicious though. would come again for those.

Yelp
Their boba tea is amazing! My friends and I tried 4 different flavors and all of them were so delicious. I ordered Thai Tea and it was great! My friends ordered Green Tea Fruit Punch (with real fruits), Jasmine Green Milk Tea, and Watermelon Ice Tea. These teas are so refreshing during the hot summer day! I highly recommend you to check them out if you will have the opportunity.
