The Best Restaurants in Plano

"Though it was made popular by Samina Qazi’s pink Kashmiri chai, Chai Walla is not just a cafe. Specialties from Peshawar, a northwest city in Pakistan, such as the chicken or beef pulao (seasoned Basmati rice with nuts and dried fruit) and the chicken or beef karahi (a spicy meat stew) from Qazi’s family recipes, also make worth a visit. The cafe serves lunch and dinner, as well as afternoon tea, in a comfortable, coffee shop-style space with couches, chairs, and coffee tables. It’s great for meeting up with friends to catch up. On weekends, it serves brunch from noon until 3 p.m." - Courtney E. Smith, Didi Paterno

We came all over from mansfield which is almost an hour drive. The reason coming for chai this long is because we loved the chai the very first time. And this is our third time visiting here from an hour long drive every time but this time we are bit disappointed with the flavor as the sugar was very less and taste was bland. But loved the ambiance as always.

So… I was passing by and saw the name chaiwallah, as I was craving for irani chai. Remembered the radio advertisement as well. So made the stop. Let me give the positive first… atmosphere is fabulous and looks great inside. Service is reasonably OK. Chai taste is medium. I am more upset when I get a 50% tea in a to go cup for a full price. Hope management see this and do some basic education to staff and give full cup for full price. If you want to give less quantity use small cups that simple. Taste is medium and quantity also not good.

What a fun place to hang out with friends or family... I visited with family, and we ordered irani chai, desi coffee, samosa, croissant and chicken puff. Loved the food and ambiance. The staff was very kind and friendly. Tons of parking available. We will visit again for sure. Update - we also had a to go order of aaloo paratha, paneer paratha (given the wrong order, was substituted with paneer wrap and French fries without informing us) & chicken pulao. All the dishes were swimming in oil.

Stepping into Chai Wallah felt like discovering a hidden gem! The decor and atmosphere were really amazing - Music was abit too loud couldn’t hear each other talk. The chai itself was absolutely divine – rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The owners' passion for their craft shines through in every sip. They have so many different types of chai. Whether you're a chai enthusiast or just looking for a unique beverage experience, this place is a must-visit! Their falooda and ice cream was pretty good

Food was very ordinary and lacked flavors. Nice decor and could use this place for quick meeting for work/business over Starbucks but other than that, I may not come back for any items in the menu.

Google
It is a great concept but very poor execution. We ordered kadak chai, chicken puffs and samosas. Food was very oily (samosa came in a puddle of oil, I am not kidding you). Tea was ok. Bathroom was filthy! Tables could have been cleaner. This restaurant could do so much better if the owner/manager could pay more attention to the points I made above). It almost felt like they (the owners/managers) do not care. I would have liked to see this restaurant do better but the chances are bleak.

Love this spot a nice place to just relax and enjoy ! Love their chais and desserts! Decor is just wow and such a sweet owner! Highly recommend this place !

Google
This place is SOO COOL! Beautiful setting, very relaxed and comfortable place to sit and have a nice conversation while drinking quality tea and having some delicious finger foods and sweets. Portions are big (enough for two most times) and the cost of the food items are on the higher sides. 3 adults and 1 child ran up a bill just over $70. But the quality of the food was amazing! And there was no forced tip. Did have a moderate service fee, though. All in all, worth the visit!

Yelp
Food, service and ambiance are great!! We loved the malai chicken roll and papdi chaat and topping it off with hot chai and warm halwa.

Yelp
We went here recently for late breakfast/brunch and our overall experience was not good! Restaurant was clean and cozy and had different seating options. Atmosphere was busy with all kind of decorations which might be too overwhelming for some. There were plenty of free parking outside. We ordered Malai paratha that was not on their regular menu and were told that it was "special", plain paratha, Irani chai with milk, and Kashmiri chai. Their "specials" were listed separately on the chalk board behind the front counter, but Malai paratha was not on it for whatever reasons. First, I think "special" menu should be in front of the customers so that they can clearly see instead of behind the front counter. Good thing I asked for the special of the day and only then I was told about the Malai paratha. Why was it not listed on the chalk board? How come the server never bothered to mention all the specials? How would the customer know about all these non-menu items if chalk board is hidden and the server will not tell either? Malai paratha came with house made yogurt, little honey, and house made, decent, size paratha. Irani chai with milk came in a regular cup and had sugar already mixed in it! When ordering our tea, I specifically asked for the sizes of our tea to see if we need to order more than 1, but the server gave guessed answers and wasn't sure about the exact sizes of our tea. Why not put an actual size of the cup in front of the ordering counter and make everyone's life easy? I found out that all of their tea only come in one size and different tea had their own sizes and they are not the same! Our both tea came in with sugar pre-mixed in it! Again, server didn't bother to tell us this important information as the mixed sugar felt little heavy to us. What if someone has any sugar intake restrictions for whatever reasons? How about not mix any sugar at all and have customers add at their table according to their taste instead? Malai paratha and house made yogurt were good and worth the money. Unfortunately, plain paratha was a big ripoff! Did not come with anything beside the small size paratha which costed us $3.99+tax! These type of parathas are sold in any South Asian grocery stores for around $6 for 5 of them! Why selling for so expensive? What is so special? We thought plain paratha would be their house made paratha and size like we got with our Malai paratha order otherwise we would not have ordered it. Both tea were also not good. Kashmiri chai tasted like a coconut syrup was mixed in it! It tasted so bad that we had to ask for a replacement and we got Karak chai instead. Karak chai was also nothing special. Just a regular home made tea type of taste which again, heavily laced with sugar. We left half of the tea. Irani chai with milk was just okay, but mixed sugar made it nothing special. Last but not least, there are only few establishment (to my knowledge), specially in TX, where they charge extra in the name of "service fees" on top of their menu prices - unfortunately, this business is one of them! Their food menu prices are already on the expensive side. Customer service is also iffy. Why charging almost 4% "extra" in the name of service fees then? On top, this extra fees is not even disclosed anywhere and you will only find out after payment! Charging this extra fees is ridiculous specially when the menu prices are already high! The disappointing part is that they don't have any posting or sign that says anything about this extra charge. Isn't this fees fraud and unethical? At least put a sign and/or tell the person what extra they are paying for. How many people pay attention to their receipt? People don't even asked for their receipt let aside checking the receipt for what they have been charged for. It doesn't matter how much business is paying to the credit processor or whatever overhead they are paying for. Menu prices should include everything. Or, don't take any cards and just accept cash. Or, at the least, put a clear sign at the payment terminal about this extra charge so customer will be clear on what exactly they are paying for. Not a single time anyone came and check on us if we needed anything after initially serving our food even though restaurant only had 1 other family beside us. At one point I saw a lady (owner/manager) came out of the kitchen and went to the front register to check something. I thought she was going to stop by on us, but she just walked back to the kitchen. Last I saw her she was on the phone. Based upon our personal experience, I will not go back or recommend this restaurant to others unless they improve their customer service, business practice, etc.

Yelp
No seating for bigger families, foods lacked flavor and quality, looks nice in the pictures and aesthetics are good. employees are very rude but owner is nice

Yelp
Their Kashmiri Chai was really good like some of the best chai I've had in my life my husband got the Irani chai and he said it was ight tho. But he's Indian so his standards are high. Ambiance was nice as well!!

Yelp
Cute furniture places upon walking in, decor was a little busy but definitely aesthetic and vibes especially for the ambiance. We asked for kashmiri chai iced and when it came out it was piping hot which was disappointing because we decided to come here after watching their instagram reel about the iced version. When we asked the server if it had come iced he stated no this is the only way it comes. So I decided to ask another person working (maybe the server was new) and he said yes it is available iced but he visibly seemed upset. He took back the hot tea and replaced it with an up charge.

Anitha K.

Yelp
Bad service and stale food. Ambiance is good. Samosas we ordered were oily and has stale smell.

Saam K.

Yelp
Tea is burned, we came for lunch. Chicken pulao was amazing! The staff will not replace kadak chai with another tea. Low on staff, raita came after 10 mins, by that time we were almost done with the rice entree.

Yelp
Finally a chai spot that's not a hole in the wall with amazing food too! A wonderful alternative to traditional coffee shops, it's quaint and has eclectic decor all around. You walk in, order, and are guided to seating. The menus got a great selection of paratha items, including one of the best tasting Malai Chicken Boti Roll I've had. They also had an excellent Tawa Chicken that left me licking my fingers! They also have a few chai variations as well but if you're not so adventurous you can stick to the traditional Kayak! Overall a really great experience! I highly recommend it and will be coming back for more!

Yelp
I've been here twice now and the food and tea has been fantastic. They have created a nice ambiance and judging by the amount of people here the place is definitely off to a good start. The only downer was they were out of some items by 8pm on a saturday so hopefully once they get their rhythm things like that won't happen. They could also use some better signage as to the MO. Basically walk in order first then they assign you a table/ seating area. They have a variety of seating options from couches to high tables and lounge style coffee tables and it's a fun, vibrant ambiance. Mucho recommend!

Yelp
Had the pleasure of trying out this place today for an early dinner with my niece (a very picky eater) and I'm so glad I was able to stop by! The food and service are 10/10 and the ambiance is even higher! It's one of the cutest Pakistani restaurants I've ever been to outside of Pakistan, and it totally makes sense that the owner is a female the moment you walk in. She has put in amazing attention to detail into the quality of the food as well as the interior. I ordered the seekh kabab which is not your traditional seekh kabab, but much more juicy and comes cooked in a tomato sauce or "curry" that complimented the meat well. My niece ordered the kids chicken nuggets which she very much enjoyed and the highlight of both of our meals was the amazing mango lassi. I can see myself coming back for the mango lassi alone! I placed a to-go order for my sister and took a bite from her behari beef roll and wanted to kick myself for not ordering one of my own. We both thoroughly enjoyed it as well. So refreshing coming across such a great representation of Pakistani food, I hope to return and try out the variety of chai's that they have to offer.

Yelp
So adorable! And relaxing. Delicious tea and appetizers. Service was fast. The only compliant I have is that they have a lime lemon drink that's made with sprite soda which they don't tell you which is unhealthy.
google avatar

Zarina H.

Yelp
The chai is ok the Cajun corn was yum and well seasoned! The experience and ambience is interesting, it's super busy. I give four stars because it is extremely over priced. I would come here once for the atmosphere and just to experience the place. The couches are comfy and the vibes are cool. You will definitely be entitled with all the interesting decorations. I would come here for the photo ops and to taste the teas.

Yelp
We came here for the first time on Saturday evening around 9pm. The decor here was very pretty and unique. However, the ordering and seating procedure was a mess. They put 'reserved' signs on seating areas so you can't just order a drink and find a seat. You can see from my pictures open seating spaces but they have 'reserved' signs so you can't seat there. You order then wait for a table to become available, that's why a lot of people just standing and crowding around the front area near the register. No beeper they yell out your name. We ended up taking our drinks to go, and the chai were just okay.

Yelp
Our Chai Wallah adventure in Plano left us enchanted from the moment we stepped inside. The intricately designed ambiance felt like a warm embrace from a dear family friend, and we were tempted to take off our shoes in sheer respect for the inviting setting! The Sips and Savors: Fresh Limca: A fizzy delight with a touch of savory chat masala. Refreshingly minty and limey, though a tad overpriced at $6. Rating: 3/5 Rooh Afza Chiller: A generous serving for sweet-toothed souls. Enjoyable, but something you can whip up at home. Rating: 3.5/5, priced at $4.99 Irani Chai: A flavor explosion! Rich and not overly sweet, with the distinct jaggery flavor shining through. A perfect 5/5, and wallet-friendly at $3.99. Mango Lassi: Creamy, but we craved a bolder mango essence. Reminiscent of melted mango kulfi. Rating: 3.5/5, priced at $6.99 Kashmiri Chai: Absolutely loved it, a perfect 5/5! Mango Falooda: Enjoyable, though the odd texture left our mouths a bit dry. Rating: 3/5 Samosa Chaat: A spicy delight with a refreshing yogurt balance - an undeniable 5/5. Papdi Chaat: A delightful blend of sour and spicy, truly excellent! Similar to samosa chaat, but less spicy and more tangy. Rating: 5/5 Loaded Nachos (beef): Really good, but we wished for more fillings. Uneven distribution left us with plain nachos at times, still tasty. Rating: 4/5 Samosa Plate (chicken): $8.99 for three samosas felt steep. Flavorsome, but seasoning inconsistency with two being under-salted and one well-seasoned. Rating: 2/5 Chicken Seek Kabab Roll: Tasty and wrapped in a paratha, but more sauce would be great. The delightful fries complemented the dish! Pricey at $12.99. Rating: 3.5/5 Additional Thoughts: Some online reviews were overly harsh - we must cherish the full experience and celebrate the diversity of Desi food. South Asia's cuisines offer an array of flavors, from creamy coconut-based tropical delicacies to aromatic fenugreek-infused delights, each showcasing unique charm. Despite the warmth, Chai Wallah delivered on its name with exceptional tea offerings. Noteworthy: The cafe serves halal food, making it a fantastic choice for halal seekers. Overall, a pleasant visit that beckons us back in winter for a cozy cup of chai by their inviting fireplace! Overall Rating: 3.5/5 Price: 3.5/5 (Affordable compared to other cafes) Location & Aesthetic: 10/5 (Absolutely stunning!) p.s: If you're curious to see a video of our delightful visit, check it out on my Instagram account @chaifullyyours

Yelp
Against my better judgment we visited Chai Wallah because some friends had heard about the ambiance. First off the ambiance is nothing but a whole lot of wall decor in front of which people can take selfies. The service was good as in we were able to get seated promptly in on of their sofas...no regular tables here which is a welcome change. The food unfortunately was incredibly disappointing. We ordered several chais including masala chai ...mediocre at best with a ton of milk but no depth in flavor. With a name like chai Wallah (and the price) you'd expect nicer cups like say earthenware traditional cups like in India...but it's just cheap IKEA cups. The food was even more disappointing...mediocre and tiny portions. For reference, the Kathi roll shown in my picture is 1/3rd the whole serving. Again lacked flavor or freshness. Overall rather underwhelming...skip unless you want to come only for Instagram pics because the food is certainly not worth it.

Yelp
The ambiance is very nice. Unique and different. The service is sketchy. There is on person in the front, you order at the counter. Not once did anyone ask if everything was okay and if we needed anything. Now to the food. The food is pricey but portion size is large. The naans that come with the food are basically store bought frozen naan, not off the tandoor. There is overwhelming amount of spice in everything, not tongue torching but heartburning. The tawa chicken was so-so, odd oil taste. The chapli kebabs were very good. The chai was okay as well, great presentation but meh flavor. Overall, if you want a good hangout with friends, give it a try!

Yelp
Lots of the items were not available from the menu at all . Most of the seating was marked as 'reserved' when clearly no one used those seats for the 1.5 hours our group was there . The seats weren't comfortable. The hot irani chai was served with a plastic straw in it ! The decor is good and location . Needs more chai variety like ginger tea or masala tea . Hoping they work on these points.

Chak M.

Yelp
Ambience is good, if you want only pics then go, if you want good food or good service please don't. Food is average and service is terrible and rude.
google avatar

Alisha S.

Yelp
Some hits and some misses here, but all in all a good time. Let's start with decor. The ambiance is very much desi and I love it! So many details and rugs! I tried the Famous Kashmiri Chai (iced), Butter Chicken Tikka Sandwich, and Samosa Chaat. The chai was delicious and I'm glad I got it cold. Nice and sweet! The sandwich was subpar, good but nothing too special. It came with fries that were lightly seasoned. Definitely would have wanted more. And the chaat hit my soul. A much needed savory snack!

Yelp
A BIG NO NO!!!! Good decor and thats it. The food is very mediocre, the chai options and the huge variety they offer is also not that good in taste. The sitting area is placed very awkwardly, the sofas is not comfortable. I tried this place twice, the first time i went it was very crowded and the service was obviously not good, i gave it a second shot thinking the crowd must be the reason for the bad service but no. The second time too the service was really bad. The place does not have enough 2 people sitting area and so naturally you will sit on sofa that is meant to sit large parties, we were asked to change our seats 3-4 times in order to accommodate big group of customers who arrived half n hour after we did. We could not even drink a cup of tea in peace without having to change the seats 3-4 times.

Al G.

Yelp
Small cup of Kashmiri chai for $5 served 30% empty. Mr owner: shame on you. Safely below average taste. Better options nearby, trust me this place will disappoint your taste buds and your wallet.

Yelp
An amazing Tea House with Delicious Food: Chai Wallah welcomes you to an enchanted atmosphere as you are greeted by cheerful wait staff at the front desk. The staff is courteous and friendly. The menu is unique and full of delicious options besides a variety of Tea options. The Kashmiri Tea and Nutella Paratha are a must try. The place is so beautifully and tastefully decorated that it has turned into a Instagram and TikTok paradise The cheerful and friendly owner is kind and knows everything there is to know about hospitality. This place is a true gem.

Yelp
Amazing overall experience! We ordered Peshawari beef pulao, samosa chaat, rabri, and karak chai. Every dish was incredibly delicious. The floor seating was very comfortable, with plush carpets and cushions. The service was great and quick, and the ambiance felt very homely. Loved the whole experience.

Sanjay T.

Yelp
Tried malai chicken and irani chai. The ambience is amazing and not a typical chai shop. It was not busy and the service was excellent. The roll and chai was very good. Irani chai has jaggery and not regular sugar. It's sweet. Chicken roll was juicy and tender.
google avatar

Sundul A.

Yelp
Extremely overrated. Pay $13 for a burger & fries. You will get a cold burger and a grand total of eleven (11) cold, soggy fries. Owners don't run the AC. It is 105° F outside and the same temp inside. Brought both of these issues up with staff, they said "this is how it is" and did not make any accommodations. Miserable experience. -1/10 do NOT recommend.
google avatar

Sumana S.

Yelp
Pretty nice samosa chaat and tea. Really enjoyed the pink Kashmiri chai. I haven't had that before , so I can't comment on the authenticity, but it tasted very subtle and comforting on a cold, windy evening.
google avatar

Shreya C.

Yelp
I went on a late night with a friend to grab a quick bite after drinks. We got the a chicken roll (I think it was the boti) and though it tasted fine, it was microwaved. Did not seem too fresh. Service was okay. They have tried to create an insta friendly ambience. Overall I would say go only if you need food late night and are out of options.
google avatar

Lauren L.

Yelp
The cold coffee was AMAZING, LOVED IT! We would definitely come back for that. Famous pink chai was okay, not very flavorful and very milky. The food was okay, portions sizes are small and not worth the price but we were hungry so it satisfied us. The ambiance is cute and cozy! Great for a date night or friend meet up. Service was quick and nice and it not very busy when we came here.
google avatar

Vrunda D.

Yelp
Good place but customer service is not very good Will recommend for people who loves Indian tea Kashmir tea must try
google avatar

Meliha D.

Yelp
The decor is so eclectic and lively. You will discover new patterns, textures, artwork at each visit. The service was spot on. We were seated and attended to very quickly. The chai came soon after we ordered and it was the perfect temperature. The staff came by to check on us to make sure we were doing okay and were very friendly and not pushy or short at all. I can't wait to come back and try their food!
google avatar

Jesmin N.

Yelp
We came here for Iftar and left unsatisfied. Most of what we ordered was very salty. We ordered a variety of rolls, pani puri, pakoras, Kashmiri chai, and falooda. The best thing that everyone enjoyed was the falooda. The bun kabob we ordered was cold in the middle of the patty, all the other meat dishes were salty - but tender. Service could have been better. The staff answered our questions with their own questions. We asked for raita and were given plain yogurt. Potato pakoras were so thinly cut, we were eating mostly the batter - although the chutney was really good. Fun ambiance and photo opps. I would go back for the falooda but not the food.
google avatar

Keerthana C.

Yelp
Such a cute late night spot to hang and have some snacks and chai!! I really loved the decor inside - all the seating is couches/cushions which makes it feel very cozy. I tried the Kashmiri chai, which was good but honestly not my favorite for the price. If I came back, would definitely try some of the other drinks on the menu and their snack food!!

Purnima S.

Yelp
Food cooked by amateurs! We ordered egg paratha roll and paneer tikka sandwich and it was basically egg omlette and paneer with huge amount of mayo. The price was high Ambience - instagram worthy but too crowded and people hovering around all over to take pictures. Too many furnitures ina a little place.
google avatar

Prabha N.

Yelp
We tried Kashmiri tea and cold desi coffee both tasted very bad. Service was not very inviting.
google avatar

Ana H.

Yelp
Nice ambiance. RUDE wait staff, not welcoming. Won't come back again. She didn't greet us or direct us to a table. She just stared very rudely. Chairs were not the right heigh for the table so it was very awkward to eat. Unfortunate bc I was hoping to enjoy the experience.

SS D.

Yelp
The GOOD: The chicken pulao was beautiful. Moist, the rice perfectly cooked and FULL of flavor without being "spicy" or hot in any way. It was almost shocking how perfect it was. (Most places pulao comes out bland or spicy, dry and with tons of annoying things you bite into.) We also ordered the chicken karahi. I've been in Florida and Virginia for a while and was really missing the way I've usually had it back home in California- kind of like a stir fry with light gravy and TONS of flavor. This place had the real deal. Like where you smack your lips, it's that good. And even though there was a plethora of green chili, it managed not to kill me (but hopefully they'll hold back on it next time). Also had the Kashmiri chai which was good. Looking forward to trying some of their other teas. The BAD: The pani puri was stale. Also missing half the fillings and sauces I usually enjoy with it. Seating is purely lounge-style which only works if you're snacking lightly with your drinks. It's no fun crouching over your food, especially when sharing with other people. But the food is amazing which means I want to go there for dinner and sit comfortably at a table. So adding a few dining tables or seating bars would be awesome. Giving this a 4 star rating bc I'll always be held back by the seating.

Hidden spot in Plano. Delicious food, great service! Definitely coming back with more friends.

Yelp
Extremely rude lady at the front beleive she is the owner. Yelp
Fun ambiance. I recommend sticking to chai rather than food. Some of the food seemed slightly undercooked. Service was okay.

Yelp
When you step in it's quite overwhelming with all the eccentric decor. They have random seating options that vary from dining chairs to lower lounge chairs with low tables as well. The food was actually decent. We had the chicken and beef paratha roll, and the aloo paratha which were all tasty but also oily. We asked for ketchup and/or a dipping sauce but it was never brought out to us. They were also charging 1.50 for a bottle of water so we chose to get chai instead which were fine. Lastly it was so hot and humid inside and didn't seem like they had the AC turned on despite it being over 90 degrees outside.

Yelp
Best ambiance.good variety of street food on the menu. We tried karak chai with paprika chat, samosa chat, zinger burger and samosa. All very good. We got there right when we got there and that was a good decision. It got very busy pretty soon. People were standing in wait line.

Yelp
Went there last Thursday for Kashmiri Chai and it was so perfect. Also had a little Ras Mulai (probably not spelled right) and it was so good. My sister in law, niece and I are planning to go there again on Friday with a few friends for girls night. The service was good-just an average wait, but that tea was sooo good. You can tell a woman owns this place as it is so nicely decorated. I feel as if I'm back in Pakistan and I love Pakistan as it's my second home I plan on trying another sweet besides Ras Malai to go along with my Kashmiri Tea when we go on Friday. Will be my second time and hope to make it a habit of returning.

Yelp
Their food is good and ambiance is excellent. Their Falooda was excellent and way better than Agha juice. The service was also way better than Agha juice's.

Yelp
Excellent chai and coffee. It's very popular and crowded most weekends and evenings. Hard to find table so I had to take out twice. Loud busy festive ambiance. Good service. Owners can easily expand space or new locations.

Yelp
The Ealaichi chai tasted like tepid water. The owner/ mgr refused to understand our concern. Bad quality product and bad customer service. Don't waste your money at this place.

Yelp
Best kashmiri tea in Dallas. Tried aloo paratha, it was delicious, and was made fresh to order.

Yelp
I wanted to try this place and brought my family here on a Saturday around 2pm, figured we could beat the lunch rush and come and have some snacks. As we entered 4 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2, 3rd graders. I did not see a table available and asked the hostess we are 8 and how long is the wait, he said atleast 30mins, I said thats fine we will wait outside in our car and he took down my # and said he will call. Well 30mins go by and i decided to call incase he did and I missed it, he answered and said the table for us is just not yet ready and that they will be closing at 3pm and re open at 5pm. I was like, what the heck!! Why didn't this guy tell us this in the first place, we would have never wasted our time and waited for a table to be free for then to be told to leave because they were closing?!!! I asked the hostess guy that and he tried to play it off oh actually i was about to call you but you called first. This was total bullshit! Because of this inhospitable treatment I would never even come back. He did not even apologize for the inconvenience and kept going on stating it was very busy. This is poor management, and I hope he learned from me calling back and trying to school him on how to properly treat customers. 1 star for the managment.
