The Best All-You-Can-Eat Restaurants in Houston | Eater Houston

"Brazilian churrascarias are popular in the Houston area, but this national chain’s local outpost is a favorite. Keep your card flipped on green to sample over 12 cuts of meat, including the house picanha and fall-off-the-bone cordeiro leg of lamb, all of which are served tableside, and make sure to try out the salad bar, a fan favorite."

Chama Gaucha is a beautiful restaurant in Houston and known for its legacy from Many years. This place never forget to make your time into memories. I have been there many times, they amazed you in every way possible. I have visited with my office colleagues and we enjoyed time more than anything. AMBIENCE - They have perfect ambience for your get together and date night also for your family dinner. FOOD - food is delicious and the way they serve is so courteous. All meats served on tables. BUFFET - their buffet salad is so great and fresh and have great options of food, salad, cold cuts, fruits, cheese and what not. COCKTAILS - I tried OLD FASHIONED, LIVE signature CARAJILLO and it was great. Loved it 😍 WINE - WINE MENU IS PERFECT COMPARED with food and have really great option. We had one bottle. HUKKA - we tried hukka at patio and it was so great. They have good options of hukka. BAR - bar service is so good, quick drink with smiley bartenders. Service - quick and great.

Me and my son went today for their lunch hour rush and everything was so quick and organized. I have been here many times before for dinner and the service is just as great! Today, I requested a corner table online for me and my 6 yr old son because he is on the spectrum. They accommodated us when we arrived and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. Thank you for your patience and grace! Your staff, food, and service is amazing! One of my top favorite restaurants!

We love coming here. This food and service on this visit was as good as always. Only disappointment is the parking situation. We’ve always parked ourselves in the complex but now the only option for every single parking spot is valet. It’s a strip mall. No reason to hold all the parking spaces hostage. The different valet stands just take the cars and park them at the strip mall across the street so then you have to wait for them to go get them. Easier to just park there yourself and walk. We will probably start eating at different places instead of here to avoid the parking frustration.

I really liked it. Everything was top notch. The meat was very tasty, everything, the salads and appetizers were also tasty. It's ideal for large groups, and most importantly, it's profitable)

Birthday gathering for my daughter was a complete success here! From the moment we entered the parking lot, the customer service was on point! It was a totally new experience at this type of restaurant. We were excited to try everything! Thank you to the amazing staff for making my daughter's celebration a night to remember! We will be back!

Chama Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse offers an exceptional dining experience with its perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and warmth. The restaurant is spacious, providing a cozy yet upscale ambiance that makes it ideal for both intimate dinners and group gatherings. The salad bar is impressive, featuring a wide variety of fresh, high-quality ingredients to suit every taste. Whether you’re craving crisp vegetables, gourmet cheeses, or flavorful sides, there’s something for everyone. The star of the show, of course, is the grilled meat. Each cut is incredibly juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor. The servers bring an endless selection of expertly cooked meats right to your table, ensuring you get to enjoy your favorites at the perfect temperature. Beyond the food, the service is outstanding. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always ready to provide recommendations or accommodate requests, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a top-tier Brazilian steakhouse that delivers on both quality and service, Chama Gaúcha is a must-visit!

Brian truly made our night! His attentive and top-notch service stood out. And that’s not even counting the incredible food. The salad bar offers a great variety of options. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Google
We celebrated a birthday here with friends. Despite the crowd, the restaurant was well-organized. The requirement for all party members to be present for seating was a bit inconvenient, but understandable. The salad bar was enjoyable, and the meat quality was decent. I appreciated that the food wasn't overly salty, unlike some other Brazilian steakhouses. Our only issue was the delayed filet mignon service; we had to request it multiple times. Overall, it was a good experience.

Yelp
First, the parking: it's ONLY valet. the entire lot is that way. on the other hand, the parking staff was courteous and there is not a fixed fee. Tip appropriately . Don't snack before coming here. There is so much food, and it's all good. Skip the: - rice that comes first - mashed potatoes that comes out beforehand - the rolls / popovers are delicious , but tiny. eat only one & save room for the MEAT. The meat comes, and keeps coming. if there is anything you want from their stock, ask for it. it comes out rare to well done. This is the perfect place for a large group.

Yelp
If you come here, come hungry! The experience starts with the salad bar. I had a small hitch when they were out of shrimp salad. I asked about it and was told a few minutes longer. I went back to my seat and there was a plate of it. How they found me, I don't know ow. This place is huge, bigger than most restaurants. The meats were very tender and seasoned well. The variety is impressive. I thought the parking was a challenge at first. There is NO self park. Accordingly, simply come prepared to valet. It was efficient and you pay what you want. This is the perfect place for a celebration. They allowed us to bring our own cake. Five star for certain in food and service!

Yelp
This place was a meat lovers / foodie lover's dream palace. This was my first all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse experience. This place has set the bar very high for future buffets, all you can eat, and Brazilian steakhouses to come. Upon arriving we were told the wait was going to be 15-20 minutes when real wait time was 35-40 minutes. The ambiance was outstanding, the atmosphere was elegant and inviting. I like that there were a lot of space in between tables/parties that made the dining experience seem more intimate. There were lots of people with reservations coming in and even those parties were told to wait 10+ minutes to get seated. The salad bar was self service with a plethora of items to choose from. There were a variety of fresh greens and impressive items. There were deli meats, cheeses, fruits, and other appetizers. The servers were all very attentive and polite. My visit for a dining experience at Chama Gaucha was expectional. The food was delicious and the the service was excellent.

Yelp
I cannot say enough about the service here. We came on a Sunday afternoon because someone came to my husband's job with coupons. We hadn't heard of the restaurant before and decided to try it out. I was a little concerned because I don't eat land animals but the salad bar is AMAZING! According to my husband the meat was great quality, seasoned well and my husband left very full. The wait staff is constantly rotating, refilling drinks, offering clean plates and cocktails from the various carts. Rosa was the waitress that seated us and she was so sweet and the entire team was so attentive. If you want to eat great food, have a beautiful atmosphere and feel like a million bucks, come eat here.

Yelp
What's better than meat? Endless meat, that's what. I've had the opportunity to visit 5 local AYCE Brazilian Steakhouses. Chama Gaúcha wins hands down. Why? Let's talk about it. Their location is pretty central to the city, a definite advantage. I'm not a fan of the valet only in front. There are sections that are self-park in the back, between other valet areas. Otherwise pretty clutch location. Service - It's fast! You have to be smart about the salad bar, and quick with the meat strategy. The second you go green on your card, they rush you. They took us without a reservation on a Sunday afternoon at open. Minimal wait time, and they let us park my Grandfather's walker behind the front desk. At 98, that dude still throws down at a buffet and happy hour. The staff were all very attentive, and it's nice that they each cover all the tables, not just their own. The MEATS - They have two kinds of lamb that comes through, compared to other restaurants that usually have one lamb item. The Garlic Steak, the Parmesan Chicken are both fantastic. The family also really likes the shrimp. Literally every cut of meat is great, but those for sure have a striking flavor that you can't get enough of until you've had far too much and regret your life decisions to that point. Pro tip: I love rare, but I also love crispy melty fats, and some carbon on the edges. Get the medium rare slices so you can have the best of both worlds. And if possible, get the outer edge so you get the peppery salty rub, and the rare juices. Devine. DRANKS - My last visit was the first time I've done drinks here. I had a cheesecake Martini at the behest of our wait staff. It was vodka, but it was absolutely delicious. Sweeter than I normally would go for, but smooth. My Ma went with the Whiskey Sour. It was her first in years, and ahe loved it. Gramps was adamant about a margarita, and went with the Mango. He finished his first, and started gettin' handsy with everyone else's drinks. Highly recommend them if you have a thirst. Dessert - They have a solid assortment, but the last time I ever ordered one was years ago, and I can't quite recall the details. They (family) were happy with the chocolate cake. I stuck to a cappuccino to help with the damage I did at the buffet. Overall, a great experience time after time. Family loves it too. If you haven't been, you should check it out.

Yelp
All I can say is be ready to eat ! The service was amazing. The staff is very attentive, and you will never have to wonder where your server is. Initially looking at the pictures I didn't think this restaurant would be an option for me because I don't eat beef or pork. Went here for a birthday party and was going to only grab a drink, but to my surprise they had jumbo shrimp and also on the salad bar. The food is really good and there are so many options to choose from. You should most definitely go on an empty stomach because the servers are at your table every seconds ready to serve different selections.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to dine.. Their servers are well trained to make sure all your needs are met. The salad bar is okay...the meat options are great. They offer variety in meats, flavors, and doneness. Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Super rude, I will never be coming back. They turned away another hungry customer. I super upset I was really looking forward to eating.

Yelp
Still the best Brazilian steakhouse in town. It's now $60 for lunch and $65 for dinner and an experience worth the splurge. The only disappointment is that the grilled cinnamon pineapple isn't included in the buffet and is now an a la carte menu. Drinks except iced tea are also a la carte, which at the price point we pay I feel like they should just include all non-alcoholic drinks. All the meats come out with that nice char, giving it a crunchy bite mixed with the fat melting in your mouth. Delish!! Beware that the lamb is pretty gamey. I always put generous amounts of the chimichurri sauce to balance the taste. Salad bar is top notch and surprisingly, the lobster bisque is also quite good with a strong lobster taste and bits of lobster. The service is excellent and the space accommodates large groups pretty well, so it's a nice place I'd recommend for celebrations. Reservations aren't needed for lunch but definitely need for dinner.

Yelp
**waaaaay overdue review:** It's been a couple of years since I last visited due to the distance from my place. While I have had the opportunity to eat at other Brazilian steakhouses, Houstonians, #YouKnow...I figured Chama Gaucha would be the same ol' same ol'. In concept, it indeed is. An all you can eat galore with your red light/green light #NoSquidGame protein play (more like little thick cards they give you). The "Brazilian cowboys" staff are QUITE attentive, and you're never left sitting there with ample time to regret your decision for more meat. Lol Conversely, in ambiance, it definitely differs. Eeeeeeverything about it whispers luxury, from the entrance to the pristine bathrooms to the luminous interior and the impeccably dressed and diligent staff. Chama Guacha features an impressive bar with a variety of fresh vegetables, cheeses, cured meats, and delicious salads. It provides a variety of refreshing and interesting choices to accompany meat-centric meals alongside delectable soups like cream of broccoli or lobster bisque. Despite the temptation, the wisest advice is to eat lightly from this section. The #MainCharacterEnergy OF COURSE is the meat. The offerings leave you with nothing to be desired--filet mignon, flank, ribs, lamb, sirloin, chicken, and sooooo much more. No one is excluded from the preparation of the meat because they have your various cooks! This IS my 5th wedding anniversary, wedding proposal, Christmas, and 40th birthday month annnnnd it is just an ideal location for a special occasion or a romantic date night that costs approximately $50 per person. Just reminiscing about this long-overdue review is making me yearn for another visit before the year comes to a close!

Yelp
This is hands down my favorite restaurant in all of Houston, I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Service: 5/5 I have been here probably a total of 10 times over the years and they have had top notch service every single time. They are always busy, but the servers and staff always make time to come check on us and will cater to our requests without fail. It's like a well oiled machine. Their valet service is also very efficient and quick, which is impressive given the amount of traffic they have. Food: 5/5 top quality cuts of Brazilian BBQ, always fresh! There are times where you have to request certain cuts to be brought over to you, but we've never had a bad meal here. Atmosphere: 5/5 the restaurant is clean, classy, and always packed to the brim. They cater well to families with babies. This is my go-to restaurant if I want a good meal. I will recommend this establishment to anyone!

Yelp
We love Brazilian food! My hubby and I have to have come to a steakhouse at least once a month, and Chama Gaúcha is one of our top choices! We love everything, from the service to the salad bar, the sides, the atmosphere and the never ending meat!!! We definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to try Brazilian steak house. Ahhh, you can never go wrong with the side of fried bananas, the pão de queijos and with the delicious crab chowder, we love everything here!

Yelp
This has been my Go-To Brazilian Steakhouse haunt for a good number of years now. Came back to review for a first time since Covid BS and left unsurprised at how well they have managed to maintain the business. Service has always been great here. Excellent and plentiful amount of servers making the rounds. Our reservation on a busy Saturday afternoon for a birthday was honored and we were sat quickly. They got a high chair for our baby and made sure not to place and plates are in grabbing distance. The crew that brought the meat around was working quickly and even made sure to return as soon as possible when one of our guests with us made requests for well done cuts of proteins (Lord forgive her). I didn't even get pictures this time around because of how quickly and consistently we were getting fresh food brought around! The value proposition is not as great as it used to be at $60+ a person for dinner, but BidInflation has been hitting everyone without prejudice. The meats themselves are still cooked perfectly, somehow staying medium rare and a perfect crispy and salty crust coating it. Some nice upgrades at the salad bar and the interior has also been improved as well. Still the standard bearer for BSTQHouse!

Yelp
What can I say, oldie for me but definitely a goodie. They have added a second bar in the back which I love. Drinks came out fast. They also had sushi on the cold bar!! Although their salad bar is not as big as Fogo, the items featured are the ones most people eat. The meat was flavorful and the waiters were so friendly.

Yelp
Despite having a tray accidentally fall on me, they apologized and provided excellent service. I highly recommend this place--the atmosphere was amazing, and the steak was fantastic! Also, a special shoutout to Elizabeth; she kept our glasses full and made sure we got what we needed in a timely manner. Overall great experience!

Yelp
Chama is like the fancier, preppier sister of Fogo de Chao. First of all, don't even think of self parking on a weekend. The lot is made up of several valets for the different businesses and it makes finding self parking an issue. However, the valet is tip only so it does make up for some of the inconvenience. The inside was huge. I loved their salad bar, which didn't have just your typical cheeses and vegetables, but also other meats such as smoked salmon, lobster bisque and tuna. Really upscale offerings. Their pan de queso was also delicious and we didn't have to call over a waiter, like at Fogo, to get a hot fresh basket of cheesy goodness. Most of the meats were tender and hot. My favorites were the prime rib and the filet. My husband liked the parmesan chicken and pork. They even brought over my cinnamon pineapple when I asked. Lovely service with a high price tag ($66 per person for dinner), but I would dine at Chama any day over Fogo, for the unique salad bar and on pointe service. One small warning: a separate waiter came over and said something really fast and all I heard was Pina. I thought he was offering me the cinnamon pineapple. It turned out to be a drink and they charged me $13 for it. So just remember if you aren't approached by your normal waiter or a waiter carrying meat, then they might upsell you.

Yelp
Chama Gaucha is probably the best AYCE Brazilian Steakhouse I have been to as of yet. My husband and I are from Orange County and we have tried all the ones in our area, LA, SF, Miami and so on. Chama is the best in terms of its meat quality, fresh salad bar, customer service, and ambiance. We made reservations on a Wednesday night at 8:15pm to celebrate one of my birthday dinners. We came right on time and they sat us right away. It was BUSY! I like that the meat guys come frequently and you can make requests. Every single piece of meat we had was satisfying and cooked to liking. They will ask you what you prefer (medium, medium-rare...). My favorites included the picanha, grilled shrimp, and of course the pineapples. As for the salad bar, everything there was fresh and always stocked. I liked that they offer lobster bisque which was beyond delicious and went perfectly with their cheese bread (which is also the best of any Brazilian place). Oh and their sides include cheesy mashed potatoes, rice, and bananas. I like that everything comes from the server so your food is always hot. They don't just give you a plate of mashed potatoes like at other places. My only complaint about this place is that their salad bar plates are a little smaller but I probably need to get my ass up more frequently anyway LOL. The service was excellent. Our main server was busy but the others ones seemed to really help out. And we got what we wanted. The inside is very lively. It's great for big groups or smaller intimate ones. I like that there are multiple rooms to keep the noise down. Overall, I highly recommend if you like Brazilian steakhouses. It will not disappoint.

Johana M.

Yelp
This place looses your custom cake !!!! And then tries to make up for a house small cake. How you lose a whole cake with a name and give it to the wrong table !???

Yelp
It is our family tradition to visit for dinner during the winter holiday and special occasions like birthdays or Mother's/Father's Day. The service is the best I've ever experienced and the teamwork is very admirable! I appreciate their bag and coat rack. They have easily accommodated a stroller for my baby several times before too. It is very family friendly. The salad bar has a good variety. My fav meats are the beef ribs (must request), garlic beef, and sirloin. I always appreciate the complimentary dessert for our birthday celebrations. Last night my daughter and I were the only ones to eat the meats and small vanilla ice cream out of our family who kept to the salad bar last night but the meat quality seemed a little different than usual. Overall, we still enjoyed our time! However, we both experienced food poisoning symptoms in the middle of the night which is the first time ever to happen after eating here so hoping it was just a one time incident! However, I was disappointed that they charged $26 for my 4 yr old who can't eat more than a happy meal size.

Yelp
Our favorite Brazilian steakhouse in Houston. Great service and excellent quality foods and salad bar. Delicious cocktails and wines.

Yelp
My friend had a reservation for their birthday and we all arrived on time despite the lack of parking (parking lot sucks and valet is also slow) and we still had to wait in the crowded lobby for over 15 min. What's the point of having a reservation at a nice restaurant if they're not timely. The service was on/off. They were either super aggressive with the meats (you flip your token green/red for if you want/don't want meat to come by) but they came at you fast and regardless of token. Then there were times when they wouldn't come by at all. The salad bar was awesome - lots of cold meats, cheeses, salads, soups to choose from. The hot meats that came by the table were great too, the house selection was my favorite. This place is also pitch black which makes sense at night and for a nice dinner spot but the tables were also close together so that was a bad combination - hard to see and navigate through the place. The price we paid was $60ish plus tip turned out to be ($80ish). Pricey (Fogo is cheaper for the same thing). Overall the experience I had was just okay.

Yelp
Best service such attentive hosts. Food was the best!! meats r perfect drinks delicious. Dinner for two with 4 drinks ... was about 250 with gratuity but certainly worth every penny . The salad bar options are very good as well- don't skip the soup on side of bar. The ambiance was so fine. Love that there are like individual spaces which makes it more intimate. Go here and skip the fao spot for special events lol

Yelp
Love this place! The house milk lemonade is the best! The salad bar is amazing. My husband loves the meat variety!

Yelp
Serious food poisoning. We had our Company Christmas Party at Chama Gaucha on Saturday 12/9/2023 at 7PM for twenty-seven guests and twelve of our guests had serious food poisoning. All woke up on Sunday with nausea, sore stomach, throwing up, and diarrhea. These symptoms went on for 2 days + and some are still extremely ill. I called the restaurant on Tuesday at 11am to inform them of the situation and the person on the phone said, "You are the first ones to call. I will have a manager call you back" it has been a day now and I still have not heard back from management. I do not recommend this place since they obviously have poor food handling practices, and poor management. Also, they had sports cars with loud exhaust outside of the front door. The engines were racing and sending exhaust into the restaurant when the doors opened.

Yelp
I was recommended by several people to come by and try this Brazilian. Churrascaria and I have to admit The food was top-notch. Service was decent, but very slow to get the rolls out. It was my son's birthday and we both loved cheese rolls and we had to wait quite a bit. for the price that you better hear I expect hot cheese rolls to be at every single table at all times. No excuse for that. Food: I've been to several of these churascarias throughout the years, and I have to admit this is one of the best ones I've ever tasted. All of the meat is season to perfection. All of the meat is very fresh. We really enjoyed the meal here will definitely go back. We tried several of the different cuts as they kept bringing meet so we were never hungry. A lot of time Brazilian steakhouses will season the meat too much salt and you don't get that here. They season the meat just right. Service: again I could easily break this place for three or four stars because we had to wait quite a long time to get the cheese rolls. Our waitress just wasn't getting it done. The trainee that she was training was better than her. He was more attentive and make sure we got everything we needed. I definitely give the service to 3.5. They gotta do better. They are not the cheapest Brazilian steakhouse in town so I expect top notch service. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
I'm a former restaurant consultant and this is by far one of the best run restaurants I've ever visited. They not only have the food quality down, they've MASTERED unmatched service. The consistency in my experience from lunch to dinner, to week days to weekends, keeps me coming back to this location time and time again. The salad bar is fresh and well stocked. The drinks are strong and delicious. The food is hot and well-seasoned. If you're looking for a good date night, fancier lunch offering, or just a great Brazilian steakhouse to give a try, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Happy Hour review only They changed their happy hour menu altogether and you no longer even get a choice of basically anything the restaurant offers. I'm not sure why they even have a happy hour. It was gross, expensive, and won't be coming back for that.

Yelp
It's ranked #6 of all restaurants in Houston on trip advisor. Wow. Ok. So we just had to try it for our anniversary. I think it is in the old spot where Rodizio Grill used to be, back in the ... early 2000's. Yes? Rodizio Grill tried to take on Fogo back then, but sadly failed. I had gone there a couple times before, but they were an unworthy competitor to Fogo. I heard Fogo's location used to be a crematorium before they converted to a restaurant. So they have their own dedicated parking which is a "leg" up on Chama. Haha. We decided to go at 3:30 pm on a Saturday, like 30 minutes after they opened, hoping that parking wouldn't be an issue. Boy was I wrong. The valets had put cones in every freakin spot in the entire lot already. No self parking. Geez. Now I haven't been to a churrascaria for a while. And my wife and kid have never been. So I was really hoping for the best. I knew coming early could be hit or miss, and maybe the service wouldn't be as good if they weren't as crowded or if they had just opened. But the place was hoppin by the time we were seated. I couldn't believe it. I guess everyone was thinking like me. Service was great. We never seemed to have the same waiter which was fine because it's like whoever was available was jumping in to help. The meat carvers remembered that my wife liked more well done and would accommodate after the first round. Great memory. No happy hour drinks on Saturday. All the wine was $10 or more a glass for the 5 oz. 8 oz is more expensive. The soup was lobster bisque which I love. Bananas, mashed potatoes, rice, spicy onions with peppers were all brought out to the table along with cheesy bread of course. Pineapple on the skewer came out just as we were wrapping up. The shrimp never made it to our table sadly. Nor the ribs. The chimmichurri sauce was nice and was good on the lamb which had a bit of a gamey taste still. I liked the garlic beef (it's super garlicky). They didn't ask how old my kid was. They just assumed she was 8, which is the next higher tier of pricing. She actually only just turned 8 so I guess their intuition was good. She didn't eat much. So I think probably for her it wasn't worth $36. For us I think it was worth $61 a person only for a special occasion as we can't eat much. The meats were good. But sadly we just couldn't stomach much. When I asked for the check they asked if we came on a special occasion. I told them it was for our anniversary. He said oh ok. But we didn't get a free desert like others had mentioned. Just the check. Which is fine. Maybe they're tightening up? It did disappoint slightly given other folks has noted they were given a free desert to celebrate their special occasion. Better not to ask me next time if we came for a special occasion if they don't do anything special for it. Not even a verbal congratulation.

Excellent salad bar! Delicious giant asparagus, small cheese buns, wonderful salads, fabulous Cheese selection, etc. etc. Amazing service! If I were a carnivore, it would have been even better! I wish there had been a fish dish...

Yelp
Visited this year for our anniversary. Service was, as it always has been, extraordinary, and our waiter Julio was phenomenal. He is among the best, kindest and most attentive waiters we have ever had. Absolutely recommend this establishment. Great food, great staff and always a great time.

Yelp
Treated my younger brother for his birthday to Chama Gaucha. Upon being seated, we were given a cheesy warm bread that was delicious! We then went to the salad bar which had a variety of options. Choices of cold vegetables, numerous kinds of salads, warm potatoes, cooked bacon, choice of lobster bisque, salami, other meats and cheeses. The salad bar alone is enough to satisfy your hunger. Our next course was the meats! We were brought picanha, top and bottom sirloin, lamb, sausage, Parmesan coated chicken, chicken wings, grilled shrimp and so much more. The restaurant has an abundance of choices of meats that will fulfill your carnivorous craving. For dessert, I had the papaya cream, which is my all time favorite creamy yogurt like dessert. I don't like papaya the fruit itself but this dessert is delicious! Others at the table had crème brûlée, tres leches cake, and scoop of ice cream that were all equally as good. The staff was very attentive as if we were the only persons in the restaurant, which we weren't. Overall, food and service was amazing and for the variety of food and other options, the price is well worth it. Always a good choice coming to this establishment.

Yelp
Our family of 3 had dinner here last night. Our 2nd time here. It is our favorite Brazilian Steakhouse in Houston. The meats were the best quality and very well seasoned. The ribeye was amazing and my favorite of the night! Others that were very good included the filet mignon, picanha, garlic beef, bottom sirloin and pork ribs (have to request this specifically as did not see the gauchos serving this). The service was great and the decor as nice as any of the other Brazilian BBQ restaurant. The selection of meats as well as the salad bar may be a bit more limited than some of the others but quality over quantity, right? Of the 4 we have tried (and they are all good so can't go wrong with any of them), my order of preference would be Chama Gaucha, Gauchos Do Sul, Fogo De Chao, then Texas de Brazil. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I had been here before so I had high expectations for my girlfriend's birthday dinner. This experience left much to be desired. Before we ordered wine, the server spilled a glass of water on my girlfriends lap and never apologized. Instead, the waiter blamed me for spilling the water. We asked to speak to the manager, and he was less helpful than our server. He also refused apologize. We sat at our table for 10 minutes and not a single server came by to check on us so we decided to walk out. This was by far the worst customer service I have ever received -- and at a high-dining restaurant nonetheless! Zero stars. This company will never receive our business.

Yelp
An amazing experience for families and friends. Having been here two times, I really appreciate how streamlined this Brazilian steakhouse can be. The food itself has both quality and quantity. The salad bar has plenty to offer and a wide variety of food to break up the cuts of meat. I personally always like to get their dressed salads with some items you would find on a charcuterie board. And overall, there are no bad choices for the meat served. I love the lamb, picanha, and ribeye. Those always feel like the most tender and tasty things offered. Not far behind are the filet mignon, garlic beef, and parmesan chicken. And make sure you get the chimichurri to go along with each slice of meat. Lastly, the service is quick and efficient. The servers are always quick to notice if you're curious about something, and if you haven't seen something you want for a while, they will ask you about it. I also appreciate that they had servers with different sides going around, so that you're not just given a plate of mashed potatoes or rice, then end up eating a fraction of it. Pretty good idea to alleviate any potential waste. If you're celebrating something, or just looking to treat yourself, Chama Gaucha is the perfect spot.

Yelp
I had dinner reservations here for my boyfriend's birthday and overall it was pretty good. Service was immaculate, servers were everywhere to make sure you got what you needed. The service is very quick here which is something I like. The steaks were flavorful and fresh. If you wanted a specific cut they will have it right over. One thing though, valet gets pretty overwhelming because how the complex is, although overall I would come back!

Yelp
Bang for the buck, it's good. Food, service, ambiance... all good. It's a nice treat. A lot of variety at the table and food bar.

Yelp
We decided to select this place because we have been there in the past. we thought since my son is celebrating his 17 bday and enjoys meats he would love this place so we booked our reservation along with a comment / note to let them know we are celebrating a special birthday . We reach for dinner and we get a corner table of 4 by the sliding door not enough room we look around and see tables are there but we take our seats thinking that the others may be reserved . We enjoy the salad bar and when we are ready to eat we turn the card to green and wait for the meats to come . We were disappointed with the service as we had to keep asking for the cheese bread and later they would come automatically. The server when he came with the chicken only served my daughter and left and we were just looking at each other as to what just happened . My son asked for medium cut and the server gave him rare and just walked away . We told our server that myself and my daughter eat chicken shrimp and lamb only so if he could get us those and he said yes . We kept waiting for a while until a gentleman in blue shirt came to our table and asked us what we wanted and how we were doing it was only after that the service speeded up . We know places of such galore take pride in service and make special occasions even more special but they failed us on this aspect as well . The server got our check and that's when my husband got up making an excuse to let someone know we are here to celebrate . It was only after that they got birthday dessert for my son . My expectations were extremely high and I knew my family would enjoy this place without a doubt but yesterday experience was huge disappointment for the price paid

Yelp
Way better salad and side bar than Fogo... Great service. Got a little behind at dinner time but they rallied...lunch time is better. Price point is ok. Needs to drop probably $7 a person to feel like a win win but hey they can raise it bc we pay.

Yelp
The best Brazilian steakhouse I've gone to in Houston! Hats off to every single staff member here-- they are absolutely phenomenal! From our waiters/waitresses, to the guachas and bus boys. Every single worker gave excellent service and made our experience great. The food here is also top notch. Compared to other similar places, the meat, sides, salad bar are all delicious. 10/10 on everything we tried. The cheese bread is definitely a favorite of mine. There was also fried cheese with honey that was served that was such a delicious surprise. My fiancé and I were celebrating our recent engagement and new job promotions and our server offered us some complimentary dessert which was absolutely yummy. The parking lot is all valet but is complimentary with optional tip. Seems to get packed after a while so make sure to get there in time to do the valet towards the evni Definitely coming back here

Yelp
Probably the best churrascaria in houston. The variety and quantity of meat is excellent. The service is great and the salad bar is outstanding as well.

Yelp
The waiter was amazing, very charismatic! The food was just a back to back delight... The meats were well-executed and tasty. One of my standout favorites was the chicken wrapped bacon, but do try everything at least once! Dessert was fantastic! The waiter confidently recommended the cheesecake crème brûlée! The waiter shared this hidden menu item with us and I'm glad we tried it! The waiter even caramelized the sugar with a liqueur at the table! I found myself involuntarily dragging my finger on the plate to ensure that not a drop remained on the plate! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
This was my first time at a Brazilian steakhouse and I loved it. If you want to get your monies worth make sure this is your first meal of the day !!! About $60-$70. With a drink it will be closer to about $90. So upon entering, it was SUPER busy (Saturday night). There were at least 30 people in the waiting area alone so it did take some time before we were seated. Upon seating, we were given instructions and served quickly so that was nice! Cheese bread was good! The cheese caught me by a surprise lol. We were also given fried plantains along with our meat and it was so good. Super soft and sweet, just as it should be. They also had mashed potato's and fries which were good as well. Those mashed potatoes were MASHED! The salad bar was sooo good. Lots of different salad and veggie options. Even some sushi options. Lots of variety across the board. Made me excited for the main course! Now onto the meat!!!!. Ugh I loved them all. I particularly remember the ribeye and the shrimp. I also loved the grilled pineapple. I actually wasn't a fan of the lamb chops. But there were so so many options and they definitely bombard you with them lol. For about 10 minutes it was nonstop meat before we got a break and then they came back and after that they slowed down. They Definrielg know what they're doing lol. But overall, it was a great restaurant with delicious food and a nice vibe. It would be great for large parties or even something more intimate!

Yelp
Meat and service were excellent, I made the mistake of not being hungry enough. I went during lunch time on a Tuesday so it wasn't too crowded thank God. I'm definitely going again Lunch was 52 per person.

Yelp
In my top 10 if you're debating on going, don't think about it, just do it. Unless you're vegetarian ofc but even then there's a salad bar with like 10 cheeses from different countries.

Yelp
It was a lunch date with besties. The lighting was really dim and it was so hard for us to see. The food was good tho

Yelp
This was the first time i came to this Brazilian steakhouse. The service was phenomenal. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We have to other places such as Texas de Brazil and fogo de chao. I would rank this number 2, behind Texas de Brazil since they had limited salad bar and their plantains had too much rums. The salad bar was unique since they had tuna poke-kinda dish and lobster bisque. As for the meats, their seasonings were interesting. I liked their sirloins and garlic steak. The lambs were a bit over cooked. The pork ribs were flavorful but so dry. We thought the sausages were too salty. They also had roasted pineapples which I thought was very interesting. Overall, we would come back here again since it offers different Brazilian steakhouse experience.
