The food was tasty and it was put on our table rather quickly regardless of how busy the place was. I’m a big fan of khachapuri so definitely recommend it if you like h cheese. Love the potatoes with the sauce, it’s kind of sour so if that’s not your thing then keep it in mind.

A Must-Try Georgian Gem in Brooklyn, NYC This is hands down one of the best, if not the best, restaurants I’ve eaten at in Brooklyn, New York City, from an ingredient quality and flavor perspective. The Georgian Salad is absolutely sensational—fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. The bread with cheese (a mix of four different cheeses and egg) was good, though slightly overrated in my opinion; it could benefit from a bit more seasoning to balance the cheesiness. The Khinkali with lamb was decent, but the lamb could use more seasoning, and the dough could be thinner to enhance the overall experience. On the other hand, the cabbage dish was out of this world, and the chicken was fantastic—tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The Georgian wine was another highlight, and I would highly recommend trying it. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot to hang out with friends. The staff were incredibly hospitable and provided excellent service. While it is a bit pricey for the portion sizes, the overall experience makes it worth a visit. If you’re in Brooklyn and looking to try authentic Georgian cuisine, this place is a must!

I like to dress up and come sit at the bar when I visit this location of Chama Mama (otherwise I frequent their Chelsea location). The decor just has a very nice and open space with terracotta and earthy green colors, and the bar and the artwork are beautiful. I love to order at the bar, my favourite is dumplings usually, lamb stuffed grape leaves are delicious and Georgian Amber wine. I always have a great experience as staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and have a great time whenever i visit solo or in a group.

The atmosphere was pleasant, but the portions were small and overpriced. The Imeruli Khachapuri was disappointing—the dough didn’t taste right. A tiny 100ml glass of wine cost $17, which felt excessive. Overall, I’d rate it 5/10. I wouldn’t recommend it and won’t be returning

Chama Mama is memorable, and has very good food— I do think it could be more flavor forward. The carrot pkhali was fresh and I highly recommend it as a side. The beef and pork kebab was good but had a very thick piece of meat, lavash that was a bit dry and chewy, and imo could be more flavorful. I loved the pomegranate with it. The adjaruli kachapuri is a must get as long as you like cheese. Its simple and fun to eat. Tastes just like you would expect it to! Our waiter was excellent, amazing service and helpful with explaining the menu. The greeter (owner? host?) at the front gave off a slightly weird vibe and handed us a brunch menu for dinner, so theres that. Despite some improvements that could be made I highly recommend this restaurant- its memorable, a great spot for a date or nice occasion.

Georgia is basically in the middle of where Europe and Asia meets within the Silk Road. Such amazing food! Went here for a biz meeting with colleagues and it did not disappoint. Georgian food is meant to be shared and we loved all the great dips to go along with everything.

The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the food was simply amazing. Every dish we tried was delicious. I highly recommend the honey cake!

(wow in Georgian) Can't stress this enough, this is a amazing venue with beautiful food and service. Can't afford a plane ticket to Georgia? No need, just head over to Montague street and grab some delicious and authentic Georgian food. Khachapuri: LUXURIOUS. Potatoes: CRISPIEST I've ever had The Georgian Burger: Timeless classic With great drinks to boot, run don't walk over to Chama Mama and have some fantastic food.

Loved the food, drinks, and service. We started with the sampler and lamb stuffed grape leaves. The sampler platter was delicious. Loved all the different flavors and especially loved the cheese. The bread was great as well. The stuffed grape leaves were so good and the cream it came with was also delicious. The cheese and egg bread boat was so good and surprisingly not too heavy. We ordered the half chicken and the cauliflower to share among 4 people. This was enough food for 4 people. The chicken was cooked perfectly. I loved the sauce. The cauliflower with the grits and flavorful sauce was also good. Grits were kind of stuck together though. For dessert we had the grape pudding and honey cake. The grape pudding was really good. Loved the texture. Flavor had some kind of spice mixed in which was very interesting. I think it was cinnamon. The honey cake had a nice texture and wasn't too sweet. For drinks I had a glass of the red natural wine and also had the spicy margarita. The margarita was made with grappa instead of tequila. It was really interesting and not what I expected at all. The natural red was very nice. Our server was very nice and friendly would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Delicious cuisine typically found in southern Brooklyn in a gorgeous south Brooklyn setting. So many great Georgian restaurants in Brighton Beach, Sheepshead Bay, and Bath Beach. Chama Mama combines the stand out food you'd find in those areas with the upscale atmosphere expected in Brooklyn Heights. I started with a glass of house wine and my wife had one of their specialty cocktails. The wine was ultra dry. It had a super dark hue. It was a generous pour that lasted the whole dinner. Our first course was the Georgian salad. Thick cut cucumbers and tomatoes with cilantro, pomegranate seeds, and a generous amount of sunflower oil and vinegar. It reminded of the salads that my grandfather makes. A very comfy salad for me. Next came out the khinkali filled with beef and pork as well as the adjaruli khachapuri. Khinkali were huge, stuffed dumplings. Very doughy with a soupy and savory filling. Classic execution. The khachapuri was excellent too. Smaller bread bowl with plenty of cheese and butter giving it the highest cheese to bread ratio that I've encountered for a khachapuri. I liked the smaller portion as I didn't feel exhausted and stuffed as I usually do after adjaruli khachapuri. For the main course, we shared the roasted half chicken in shqmeruli. This might have been one of the best chicken dishes that I've had. Chicken was juicy with a crispy and wonderfully seasoned skin. The sauce was outstanding. It was a creamy garlic sauce that would go toe-to-toe with the best Alfredo or butter garlic sauces in the world. I highly recommended this dish and did not expect it to be the star. Service was attentive. There were two single occupancy restrooms. The one I used was spacious and handicap accessible. No reservation was needed on a weeknight.

Great dining experience here. Everything here is beautiful . The food. The people. The place. We had the pleasure of being served by a great staff. Service is intimate. We had tried recommended food and drinks and was satisfied. Our first Georgian food experience and was not disappointed. Well recommend place.

This place is so good!! Everything on the menu is super tasty and fun to try. I recommend ordering the Taste of Georgia sampler platter because all of them were different and delicious. Definitely get the cheesy bread. The beef stew is good but if you're not necessarily in the mood for it, I may recommend skipping it. Service is impeccable and the ambiance is fun, trendy and lively. I'd recommend making reservations because it was pretty busy on a weeknight.

Great brunch spot! The dishes are meant to be shared so I would recommend tapas style. I loved the pancakes and egg benedicts and the bread was so fluffy.

I was disappointed in the food of Chama mama but the ambience is nice Food: the seasonal katchpuri a bit disappointing! It was essentially a pizza with some herbs on top - this didn't have much flavor to it. I should have gone for the adjaruli katchpuri. The lamb khinkali was probably the best thing we got but I wish they gave 1 more within the miz. The matchkatebi was good overall but very small portion size! Ambience: really nice, open and welcoming Service: good but a bit slow! Price: a bit high for the portion size in my opinion

The restaurant was festively decorated for the holidays and quite busy when we went. The server apologized for not being as attentive as a result. It was hard to gauge what was gluten-free and I had to verify -- though having the menus updated to show this would've been helpful. We had adjapsandali (cold veggie spread would have been perfect in summer), saperavi & pomegranate beef stew (interesting mashed potatoes had cheese), chicken mtsvadi (the garnish was good the chicken meh), crispy potato with house tkemali (good!), Georgian style freshly baked cornbread (not my favorite), ghognasho adjika (okay), and my husband loved the baked bread.

Sitting outside here is absolutely wonderful in the summer, spring and fall. Great people watching. Every single thing on the menu is amazing! If you haven't tried Georgian food... it's time and if you start here you are starting with some of the best. My top favorites are the Georgian salad, ADJARULI KHACHAPURI, and KHINKALI. The service was okay. Nothing mind blowing ... I sat down before another table and they got served first which tends to annoy me but honestly the food was so good I almost forgot about that.

This place is the newest location among all the Chama Mamas but is really one of their nicest, and I love that it's not far from me. Loves: + Yummy food. For my friend and I, we split: taste of Georgia ($28), khinkali ($12), and adjaruli khachapuri ($18). + Really attentive staff + Nice indoor and outdoor seating; indoor has warm lighting and can feel a bit loud, while outdoors has a bit of a European feel (bc those chairs) + Easy to get a reservation I've always had a positive experience at this chain and believe Chama Mama is truly a lovely addition to the neighborhood! :)

What a gem! Great neighborhood place. I would never think about trying a Georgian Restaurants. It was a beautiful day so we sayt outside to just have wine n people watch. Next time I'll have to come w a group to try different things. All the good that passes by us looked amazing. I had amber wine for the 1st time. Full body, oaky so good perfect for a fall day.

Delicious food with a beautiful interior and very friendly service! Got the Taste of Georgia to start but the pkhali (a sort of vegetable walnut paté) selection to bread ratio was very off so we had to order more bread. The string cheese jerky was the highlight. I'm not sure what it's called but never had anything like it and it was smoky and very good. The side of bread we ordered also came with a very flavorful chili oil that was a hit with everyone at our table. The roasted wild mushrooms were also sooo yummy. The umami flavor was *chefs kiss* Of course we HAD to get the Adjaruli Khachapuri and it was great to see them mix the egg into it. Decadent but sooo good. The Imeruli Khachapuri was also delicious but very different - almost like a pizza topped with fresh herbs. Finally had the khinkali, Georgian soup dumplings with mushroom. They're bigger with thicker skins than chinese soup dumplings but really good. Love that there is plenty of veggie options here but I definitely filled up on a lot of bread and cheese. Very hearty meal.

We made a last-minute reservation here because we were already going to be in the neighborhood at the cat café on the next block. Definitely a lucky find. Staff was very friendly, food was great. We got the stuffed grape leaves, the soup dumplings, and the megruli kharcho (a ground walnut and saffron stew -- sort of like a curry) with cauliflower. The pelamushi (grape pudding) dessert was fantastic.

First off when you enter the restaurant the beauty and intricate details in the decor will take your breath away. Whew. The staff was so courteous and kind. The food came out pretty quickly. I got the IMERULI KHACHAPURI and summer salad for a start. The salad was refreshing and khachapuri was a cheesy delight. Then for the entree I got the chicken salad lunch special that came with a side of crispy potatoes. Im not a huge fan of chicken salad but found the extra texture in the bread used helped bring out a pleasant flavor. The crispy potatoes still stole the spotlight, one my favorites from this restaurant and Georgian food.

What a lovely place that deserves all the stars! I went there for brunch with my family and was able to find a last-minute reservation. The restaurant is super spacious inside, which feels like a breath of fresh air amidst the cramped NYC restaurant scene. The staff were all super kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. They have an open kitchen where you can see how the food is made by their wonderfully talented chefs. I started with the zucchini soup, which was so good--a perfect balance of creamy and soupy. Then we got the cheese boat and some cheese boreks. They were all so wonderful that I wish I could eat them every day.

I was here for lunch on new year's eve with my family and it was terrific. I'm always a bit nervous about bringing my family to a place for the first time since they are very (very!) particular. Knowing they were not familiar with Georgian food added to my anxiety. But they loved it - which is rare. The service was so incredibly helpful - they addressed the myriad of questions some folks in my family had about the menu and they were so patient since we tend to take a long time to decide what to order. Food was delicious. We had the Georgian Mountain Bread, Winter Grain Salad, Lobiani and Georgian Chicken Sandwich - everything was great. We ended up chatting briefly with the table next to us since we were curious about their order and they had ordered the Taste of Georgia and they said it was great too. Highly recommend.

A beautiful night for Valentine's Day! Reserved a 7:30pm spot. Came in a little after, and we waited a few. There was a table at the front for us, but we asked if we could have something in the back and they were very accommodating. The restaurant itself is very cozy. Nice lighting and not too loud. Conversations were at a light buzz and the place was full. I knew based on Yelp reviews what we were going to get. My partner started with a drink. The waiter didn't understand what a Hendricks and soda was so she brought a soda bottle and a glass of ice. But it was corrected after we told her. $17 for a Hendricks pour is pretty crazy when the specialty cocktails are $19. But I think this is a place for wine. The grape leaves with lamb were good but not worth getting again. I think we would try the Crispy Smashed Potatoes next time. The ADJARULI KHACHAPURI was SOO SO SO delicious. Literally glorified fancy cheesy bread with egg. Scrambled at our table. The bread was so perfect and with the butter and gooey cheese. Yum. I'd come here just to get three of those and go to town. The CAULIFLOWER IN SHQMERULI was a stand out. The garlic sauce is garlic city so if you don't want a garlic moment, steer clear. Get extra bread with this one cause you'll want to sop up all of the sauce if you're a garlic head. The MEGRULI KHARCHO - CHICKEN was earthy and homey. It reminded me of Indian butter chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy. Perfectly seasoned. The grilled grits were different - no flavor but cool nonetheless. The Pelamushi was so refreshing and light after the "heavier" dinner plates. Such an interesting grape flavor. I will definitely be returning. First time at a Georgian restaurant, and I'm hooked!

This is a review of their customer service.... I added a star since I didn't eat here.... but it was a 2 star experience at best. The hostess had a manner that implied her last gig was at the door of an exclusive club and acted rudely and oddly to me and the rest of my party. I've never encountered a host or hostess who acted like this in any restaurant. NY, high-end or casual, on good days or bad days. Walked in without a reservation expecting to get on a waitlist. I asked if she had any tables available, and the hostess told me that there were no available tables. She then just stared at me for an extended period. Like she was waiting for me to leave, like I should leave. Soo I asked is there a wait? And she says yes, 45 min to 1hr. I say Okay, we can do that. She just stares at me. So I ask..can we get on the list?? She takes my number, with a truly confusing back and forth about texting us if a reservation is canceled, and we leave. Everyone in my party left feeling irritated, judged for no reason, and annoyed by her whole bad vibe and odd un-normal interaction. Some minutes later I get a text message saying the wait is 2-3hrs, twice what she told me. I never recieved a texted about an available table the rest of the evening. If you want to try their food, just grab the train into Chelsea, skip this weird location.

The ambiance here is very good! It reminds me of a wine place but not really. It's just the vibe of it. It's my first time trying Georgian food. We order the Adjaruli Khachapuri and the Meguli Kharcho! The service was good, they sat us down and we were lucky that we didn't need reservations. It did filled up fast though. Overall I think the food was great! The adjaruli was very cheesy! It melts extremely well with the bread. The Meguli was really good! It's chicken made with peanut sauce. It was very well balanced and not too peanut buttery. I would recommend these two dishes if you happen to stop by here for Georgian food! Especially the Meguli Kharcho!

I'd never had Georgian food before and was totally blown away. The flavors and textures were very unique and everything was made fresh. Service was excellent and the atmosphere is outstanding. The staff explained each dish, and sometimes even explained the traditional way of eating it. A lovely dining experience. I was surprised how much fresh tarragon tastes like black licorice, which I love, but not everyone did in our party. We tried a shared a variety of things and there were plenty of dishes with less tarragon but it is a featured ingredient in many of the dishes. We shared a bunch of starters and not pictured we shared the cabbage and chicken main dishes yum! Our drinks were fantastic - mine was very anise-forward with hints of lemongrass. I would definitely come here again.

This restaurant hits the mark on everything - highly recommend for a slightly elevated dinner experience. The interior here is so modern and well done, especially the bar. It's giving Instagram aesthetic but with actually good food. Service is also top notch; our server was Georgian and patiently explained the menu and stood by while we waffled over the wine options. Everything we ordered (4 people) tasted amazing: Seasonal khachapuri - usually we get the Adjaruli which is the typical one you see people ordering. This one was so good with the herbs cutting through the cheese. It's also pre-sliced like a pie so easy to share. Freshly baked bread - a mid-meal addition for us to dip into the sauces of our other dishes. Wow it was much bigger than we expected, and so fresh out of the oven it was steaming. Crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Megruli kharcho - a pretty unique dish IMO. The walnut sauce has a nuttiness that mixes so well with the spices. The grilled grits came piping hot and soft on the inside and were great for dipping. Roasted cabbage in baje - cabbage was cooked through and easy to slice through, and the cilantro and dill definitely came through in the sauce. Pork mtsvadi - cooked well, and the sauce had a tanginess that complemented the pork. Chama mama Cabernet Sauvignon - didn't drink much myself but my table mates really enjoyed this. There were no disappointments here and my group really enjoyed this meal. I've been to the Chelsea location which is also great, but I might like this one more now!

So wanted to love this place. Service was awful. Took over an hour for food (kabob and eggs). Wait was definitely not worth it. The egg weren't even cooked and the dish was so over salted. I would never come back here. Everything was just oily and greasy. Nothing tasted fresh, no creativity just cheese and breads. So underwhelmed.

Beautiful ambiance at Chama Mama. I had early dinner reservations so I was bummed when we were tucked away in a tight corner space. We asked to move and definitely were happier with our table. This was my first time trying Georgian cuisine. Our server provided recommendations for dinner. I enjoyed the Georgian Sun wine (red). It paired well with the dishes we tried. We asked for a sauce for the chicken kebab dish because I felt like there was something missing. I actually noticed later on that it is supposed to come with a tomato sauce so that was a letdown as I was half-way done before getting it. The food was packed with flavor. We ended dinner with their highly recommended honey cake and a cappuccino. It was delicious and I see why it is the popular choice. Enjoyed my first Georgian cuisine experience.

LOTS OF VEGAN OPTIONS. The service was great and the food was amazing . Such a great brunch spot excited to come back in the spring . This restaurant is in a great neighborhood with lots of shops so there are things to do after brunch.

Thrilled to have a Chama Mama in the neighborhood! I had a chance to visit during their soft open, and really enjoyed the food and service. They've recently started serving their full menu, so you know I'll be going back very soon.

I came here with a group of four. The restaurant decor is beautiful. Low lighting with dainty ceiling lamps. The bar is backed by lovely archways. The menu is best enjoyed family style. Our waiter was friendly and helpful with suggestions. To start, we had the roasted mushrooms. These were tender, but not quite as flavorful as I was expecting. We also got the smashed potatoes, which were deliciously crispy and bursting with citrus flavor. It was a generous portion size as well. We also got the adjaruli khachapuri. This dish featured a base of bread with hot cheese, butter, and egg inside. The ingredients were separate upon serving and mixed at the table. The dish was super cheesy and a bit hard to cut. It was rich and tasty, but I prefer the imeruli khachapuri, which is sliced and more like a pizza. We tried the kvari cheese dumplings as well. Unlike the khachapuri, the cheese was not melty. The accompanying mint yogurt sauce added nice texture, but I would skip this dish next time. For a main, we shared the megruli kharcho with cauliflower. The cauliflower was hearty and well prepared. It was served with a generous amount of walnut sauce, which was thick with a unique but subtle flavor. To drink, I had the lychee margarita. It was quite small. It was juicy and sweet. Prices were great. I was shocked the bill was so low given how much food we ordered. Definitely recommended!

Chama Mama, what happened? I am a massive fan of Georgian food, and I've been to the Chelsea location before, as well as several other Georgian spots in the city. On my latest visit, toward the end of the meal, my dining partner and I looked at each other at the same time and agreed the vibes were distinctively off. The imaruli khachapuri tasted different than I was used to. It was just... "fine". The Georgian salad was OK. And the megruli kharcho was *awful*. The service wouldn't leave us alone when we weren't ready to order, yet suddenly abandoned us when we wanted to pay. One-time anomaly? I'm willing to accept that. But I most likely won't be back to the Brooklyn Heights location again.

We dropped in for brunch on Sunday. Nice looking place on a great street. The roaring fire in the back was welcoming on a windy day in late November. Service was very slow. Sipped half a coffee slowly until noticed a hair protruding up from it. Got a replacement cup and only finished half. They credited back the first cup but then charged for the second. If you're keeping score, I drank one cup, half with a hair in it, and got charged for it. As for food, if it wasn't for the trio of adjika condiments my adjaruli khachapuri would have been rather boring. They stir the egg into the cheese at the table. It may be traditional but I recommend telling them not to, as the egg gets lost in the cheese completely. My table mates fared better with the chili piji and a succulent chicken kabob.

I have never been to the country Georgia, a country that is at the intersection of Europe & Asia, so I can't know what authentic Georgian dishes have tasted like. However, if whatever dishes I have had at Chama Mama, a Georgian cuisine restaurant, are as good as where they are originated from, I could fall in love with Georgian food! I have thoroughly enjoyed the serene and calm modern designs of the restaurant Interiors. Earthtone colors, wood n upholstery furniture add an extra touch of coziness to dining guests. Dishes we tried and would totally recommend others to try: Lamb stuffed grape leaves Adjaruli Khachapuri Khinkali (Georgian Dumpling) with Beef & Pork Cauliflower in Shqmeruli

Excellent experience on all counts. Service is always warm, knowledgeable and efficient. Place is comfortable and modern, though can get a bit loud on a Saturday evening. Food is the star of the show. Every dish was wonderful right down to the wine and the coffee. Cheese, breads, and chicken mysvadi in particular are stand outs. The salads are fresh and flavorful

Visited this location for the third time last night. The meat, dumplings, cheese, bread, khachapuri... amazing. The cocktails and orange wine are fantastic too. And the best part is the service, everyone is so friendly and genuinely proud of the cuisine. I can't recommend this place enough!

Chama Mama was one of the few restaurants open late (till 11 pm) and on a Monday no less! My date and I enjoyed the near empty space at 10 pm where the staff even outnumbered us. The atmosphere was absolutely serene in all its largeness and glamour. We ordered the classic adjaruli khachapuri, which we were unable to finish due to how cheesy it was; cheese-lovers can rejoice but we might prefer one with more mix-ins (I've had khachapuri at other places with spinach, chopped up bits of meat). Next up was the lamb khinkali, which remind me of thick-skinned xiaolongbao. $11 felt a bit steep for just 3; still, they were juicy and delicious. Last was the chicken skewer. It came with 4 large pieces on pita. This was very flavorful, and I was surprised by how well the chicken was cooked.

Really delicious and unique food in a beautiful space! We got the taste of Georgia to start, which was a selection of different dips. For mains, we shared the kvari and smashed potatoes. The smashed potatoes were seasoned SO well. The herbs were really tasty. The service was great and recommended us great dishes since this was our first time here. This certainly won't be my last. I want to come back and try so many more things!

I've been a huge Chama Mama fan for quite some time now, especially after visiting their Chelsea location frequently. I live nearby and was looking for a week night dinner spot, and got SUPER excited that they opened a location in Brooklyn Heights. The ambiance is stunning. The space is much much larger than the Chelsea location and it was bustling when we showed up for dinner that night. The service? Impeccable. The food? Just as incredible as their Chelsea location. I have some standard dishes that I order, every single I visit. To start, the taste of georgia is great if you have a large group, get the khachapuri (aka cheese boat) and the beef and pork kebabs. My friend really wanted to try the Megruli Kharcho - Chicken, and just WOW, something magic is sprinkled in that sauce. It's so great to still discover new and exciting dishes in a restaurant you frequent. Cannot wait to return. So thrilled to have them in the neighborhood.

This is a very pretty restaurant. The atmosphere was great. We started off with beef and pork dumplings. I had the beef and pork kebab which was a house blend of beef and pork wrapped in lavash and served with tomato sauce. It was all very tasty. The service was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Omg. Ordered 14 dollar soup and salad lunch. Salad was a handful of wilted lettuce and the soup was not even enough to fill a teacup. Granted soup tasted solid but ..jeez ..at least fill the tiny container to the top. Live and learn.

Georgian food and wine! A must try. Excellent and caring service. It's important for them to share with their guests everything they know about Georgian food and wine. This is a beautiful venue, yet fun and relaxing. The open kitchen front is interesting. The food was really yummy. Lots of stuffed dough options. You won't leave hungry. Also, Georgia may be where the beverage wine originated and so I think the style of wine they serve is authentic. Get here and enjoy!

This is easily one of the best dining experiences that I've had in NYC since I moved here eight years ago. Before coming in, I had never had Georgian food before and didn't know what to expect. Every single item was absolutely delicious and the service was even better. I was curious about the amber wine and the server was nice enough to give me a taste before pouring a full glass. Even the Georgian sparkling water was tasty. Not to mention, the actual decor and energy of the restaurant was so great. Everybody in there seemed happy and it was pretty packed for a Wednesday night but still intimate. Before we left, our food was boxed up and we got a handwritten note with our receipt. I'll definitely be back sooner than later!

They have very pleasant outdoor seating. I felt like if I went somewhere and was on vacation. Menu has pictures. I enjoyed my lunch there.

Fantastic brunch spot in Brooklyn heights. So if Anthropology was to open a restaurant this would be the vibe. I love the warm rustic tones and all the wild fresh flowers decor.The restaurant was very busy with lots of families. Food were all very tasty and fresh. We ordered 4 dishes with one cocktail and they were all excellent for sharing and we were very very full. Our bill came to be around $50 each. Probably wouldn't come every weekend at this price point but happy to come back again. Service was fine nothing special but the lady host was very welcoming.

Really enjoyed visiting this new restaurant on a Saturday evening at the bar area. Checked this spot out an hour prior to seeing the Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra perform just around the block, in the Brooklyn Heights area. Enjoyed learning about and tasting some Georgian Corn-Bread and Khinkali Lamb with a 2020 Georgian red wine. The staff was super kind and efficient. The music and aesthetics at the restaurant was very pleasing. (I look forward to returning to try their signature Adjaruli Khachapuri)

What a gem! Had a dinner there yesterday and let me tell you I almost forgot how real tomatoes taste like. That's to say everything was so fresh and delicious. We had khachapuri with egg, Georgian salad, rack of lamb, honey cake and napoleon cake. And every dish was impressive. The selection of wine is amazing, and I know a thing or two about wine. Our server Sebastian was knowledgeable and super attentive. Highly recommend this place!

So happy Chama Mama is in Brooklyn Heights. The food is fantastic, the service is wonderful and the atmosphere is lovely. When friends and family visit us from out of town, we take them here and they always absolutely love it. Highly recommended!

Delicious I will definitely be back!! If you've never tried this food, I recommend going in a group and sharing so you can try multiple things. You can't go wrong, though; everything is wonderful.

Went to their Chelsea location few times over the years and decided to order from this location. First of all the amount of salad they put was kind of offensive, literally like two table spoons of salad. Chicken was very soggy and mediocre just not as flavorful you would expect from a Georgian restaurant. Honey cake was burned and stale looking like some dish washing sponge, napoleon was okay but tasted kinda old. Overall very disappointing and would never go to their restaurants again, $100+ for a takeout that went halfway into a garbage.
