This was my second visit to Chambers- I reluctantly came back although I wasn't that impressed the first time since my colleague made reservations here, and I remain not that impressed by their food and service. Ambiance is nice since it's on the swanky side, but the food won't blow you away. This time around, I tried:
-Red Quinoa Salad (Prosciutto, Arugula, Stone Fruit, Shaved Rhubarb, Sunflower Seeds, Angostura Bitters Vinaigrette, $13, http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/chambers-san-francisco-3?select=OIwB0xiTLcrmw9u0U7l9MA#OIwB0xiTLcrmw9u0U7l9MA): Ok, but I didn't think the ingredients worked that well together. The quinoa was also cooked very al dente, and on the crunchy side. I prefer my quinoa fluffier, and wouldn't order this dish again.
-Chambers Burger (Smoked Onion Marmalade, Butter Lettuce, Cheese, Challah Bun, Served w/Kennebec Fries, $15 + Pork Belly $3, http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/chambers-san-francisco-3?select=OIwB0xiTLcrmw9u0U7l9MA#a7oHYWEuZUTqhh0ybFXRCQ): An ok burger, but nothing special, not even with the addition of the pork belly. At least the fries were nice and crispy.
Service was good, but there are too many other nice restaurants in SF, and I doubt I'll be back here again. Parking is hit or miss depending on when you come, but there is street parking available around here.
