We had such a great time here! It was so fun getting in with the door of chip bags. The bartender Lana was so nice. We went on a weeknight and had the place to ourselves for a whole which was fun to take pictures and explore. There are so many details in the decor everywhere. It’s very whimsical! The drinks were good. Pricey as most are at these places, especially NYC. They play all Taylor Swift music! It was a memorable experience!

My friend and I went during the beginning of the blizzard, and Christian was a one man show that made us feel very well taken care of. We ordered the chicken bao buns, the potstickers, and maple fries and everything was very very good! The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Christian was the only person who came in that day to keep the bar open during the blizzard and was amazing. Thank you for our great service! Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in NYC!

I went to this place with no high expectations, being a swiftie it caught my attention. We went early as soon as it opened for a SaturTAY brunch and it was so fun! We were greeted by a lovely server who made going into the speakeasy so fun, he let us soak in the location and provided drinks to us as we ordered. He was so sweet and attentive! There was only a few tables but he made sure we had all we need. Overall I had a great experience here!

So fun! It’s a Taylor Swift bar- what’s not to love. Yes, the prices are high. You are in NYC- you are there for the photo ops, music and vibes. The staff was amazing. If you’re a Swiftie and in NYC, you should go.

If you’re ever in NYC and craving a dining experience that blends elegance with soul, Champagne Problems is a must. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was effortlessly chic—inviting, intimate, and full of energy. The kind of place where every detail feels intentional, yet nothing feels forced. The food? Absolutely delicious. —comfort meets culinary finesse. And the waiter? The bomb. Attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in making our night memorable. This isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a vibe, a mood, a moment. We loved it so much, it’s officially on our must-return list. Champagne Problems didn’t just serve us dinner—it served us joy.

Since it was my birthday that’s the place I picked. Now it’s cool the secret door covered with all the bag of chips and when the door opened it was beautiful inside. When we got there there’s only 6 people in the restaurant you’d think the server/ bartender would come around more often asking about food or drinks. She came twice about drinks and nothing whatsoever about food. I was so disappointed we finished out one drink and left.

I had a blast here. The big selling point? A game-style entrance. You pick one of several black chips, and boom—the secret door to the restaurant opens. Super fun and a little mischievous in the best way. Service, though? Mixed bag. It took a bit for a server to seat us, kept saying they were waiting for reservations, and folks who arrived after us got seated sooner, it did put a minor damper on the initial experience. Once we were at the table, the service picked up and stayed solid, the experience was top-tier. The vibe, the plating, the little touches all excellent. Food? Incredible. I’d call it 10 out of 10. Bold flavors, well-executed, and absolutely delicious. Heads up: portions run on the small side. The dessert itself was tasty, but the red topping had a spicy kick that surprised me and wasn’t my thing. Bottom line: I’d absolutely return for the food and the gimmick. If they smooth out the early-service bumps, it goes from great to unforgettable.

I celebrated my birthday here with both my daughters & I had a pretty good time. The food was good, I had a SirDavis drink in a sweet "Manhattan style" drink, jumped into the "bubble ball" wine glass, posed with the Giraffe...FUN!!! The atmosphere- dimmed lights made it warm,cozy and welcoming. Music on target, pick & choose your liquor of choice, comfortable seating areas or just chill at the bar. Bathrooms clean and remind you of where you are. The staff, which was 1 guy at the door who checked our I.D.'s and made us laugh to the 1-woman staff in this restaurant who was so courteous and hospitable. I would def recommend this restaurant to others.

Let's start out by saying we found parking right in front of the restaurant! You can't miss this glittering gold and green, it's definitely a social media restaurant (I'm in love with the PHOTO) Walking in we were greeted by the door man and upon entrance there is a champagne vending machine and chip bags galore. Next we were greeted by the hostess/waitress and walked into the 80's with a jungle glamour sort of thing going on but it's all about the photos right (Not in my book). The seating on the 1st floor is bad because you are way too close to the other parties attending the restaurant, your conversations here are not private although we lucked up and sat next to some cool people. If unable to get the waiters attention press the champagne button in the middle of your table an wallah. So the reason for the chip bag decor is explained by the food because everything comes with chips except the pot stickers. Speaking of pot stickers salty as ever 1 out of 10 and as for the artichoke and spinach dip which was paired with unsalted chips and carrots was bland and there wasn't a salt shaker in sight we ended up attending another restaurant. They say don't knock it until you try it well I tried it and I'm knocking it. If you go for anything just go for the photos.

Love this place!! They play taylor swift song all the time. It was amazing, I had champagne and a cosmopolitan, very good drinks. The place had a few photo ops to take pictures, very fun place to go with friends and enjoy the night. Perfect place for swifties. The bartenders were great and very nice. Service was excellent.

We stopped in here before dinner for a quick drink. I don't think we're the target market for this bar, as it's Taylor swift themed and has some gimmicks like a wall of chip packs you have to press to get inside and a big champagne coupe you can climb in for photos. We did like the big giraffe. The complimentary chips while you drink were a nice touch. Drinks were on the expensive side. Wouldn't return, but if you're a Taylor swift fan you will probably like it.

If your a Taylor swift fan , you would definitely love this spot. 89% was her music playing. Her video playing . The drinks are 25.00 and up. Be sure to order in a fun cup , the food very good. I tried they're spring rolls. They came in 6 pieces (small) w soy sauce on the side. The service was very quick and attentive. The bathroom looks great dark green , black , gold . Very elegant. And u get to jump in a giant cup of champagne and take photos. Ohhhh did I mention in order to get inside the lounge u are face w a wall full potato chip bags. You have to press the correct one in order to have the door open.

The decor is very flashy and instagram friendly and there's a teaser at the entrance in order to get in. I liked everything but the food. Drinks were pretty good. I'd probably go back to try something else.

The BEST, coolest bar I've ever been to. We came on a Saturday night for my sister's bachelorette. We got a seat at the bar and got to chatting with Courtney. I CANNOT say enough amazing things about her. She went out of her way repeatedly throughout the entire night to make my sister feel special and make her night even better. The vibe inside is amazing. It's such a safe place too, like what scary people would ever come to a Taylor Swift bar???? It's so obvious they didn't cut corners when designing and decorating the interior. It felt like what the inside of my brain looks like. Overall, I'm literally counting down the days until I go back. Courtney, thank you so much for singing and dancing with us, telling us all the ins and outs of your art, and for making my sister's day so unforgettable

Saw this place on IG! As a Swiftie, I had to check it out! Got to live my bejeweled dreams by taking photos in the martini glass!! Staff is very attentive and personable! It's a place you can dress up or be casual. Drinks were great!

Without a doubt this has to be the most fun venue in all of New York. It is NYC's hottest spot. It is a hidden speakeasy behind a wall of potato chips. One bag of chips gives you access to he bar and lounge. It is the only place in all of New York that has a vending machine for champagne. Guests can dance in a Giant Champagne Coupe. They can dance on the bar and on the booths. There are 3 levels to this amazing. place. And there's more, Champagne Problems has an excellent Chinese food menu. I've never had a better time. One night we had a private party and we drank 12 bottles of champagne. I was surprised there was no hangover the next day.

It's a cute spot! Don't go on a time crunch because it's a long wait on line but it's nice and the food and drinks were good

I had a great time--the vibes were on point! The decor was super trendy, perfect for capturing some fun photos. The drinks were impressive, though I was craving a lychee martini, which they didn't have. The bartender was really accommodating and whipped up a similar cocktail that was just as tasty. I only tried the spring rolls; they were small, but still packed with flavor.

What a gem on the Bowery! We had the best time here on Friday night. Alfonso at the front brought the energy - a great way to begin the Champagne Problems experience! Iran, our server was exceptional and so funny. We met the manager, Annie, as well who took great care of us. I can't wait to bring everyone I know back especially for a dip in the giant champagne coupe ball pit.

good drinks, that's about it. service was a bit terrible and we waited 40+ minutes in a line outside even though we had a reservation. they also double booked our reservation time and probably doing that for everyone's times. also from a fellow swiftie, not really taylor themed fyi

This bar is marketed as a Taylor Swift themed bar but it barely has any Taylor references. We were soooo confused about everything in this bar. Why are there so many chips and giraffes? We asked the waitstaff about the reasoning behind the giraffe references and got very unclear answers. On top of that, the drinks were awful and overpriced. The bar-staff couldn't make standard cocktails and didn't know what elderflower liqueur was. The drinks on the menu were the weirdest, grossest concoctions. We couldn't wait to leave as soon as we got here. Do NOT come here if you are looking for good drinks and Taylor Swift references!!! Oh also FYI, it says they open at 4pm, but only the front "grocery store" opens at 4pm -- the actual bar opens at 5pm.

A gimmick more than a bar. Our table waited an entire hour for drinks - staff would not check on our order or cancel claiming they were too busy. Hostile, slow, and drinks were ultimately extremely underwhelming. If looking for a cocktail bar, you can skip this one.

Fabulous place to visit while in New York City!! Great Ambiance, service is A+. Make it a point to visit, you won't be disappointed!!! Champagne Problems is a place that I will visit every time I'm in NY!! 5 stars!!!

this place is very unique and has great, albeit expensive, drinks but rely too heavily on aesthetics to carry the experience. service needs A LOT of work. our waiter was attentive for about 15 minutes before focusing completely on a different party of about 10 people. I was in a party of 6 and assumed that juggling 2 large parties must've been difficult and that's why he wasn't available. But he ended up dancing on the floor with the other party since they were a bachelorette. we tried to get his attention to order more but he would look at us and keep walking. when we finally we able to order drinks, we waited for over 30 minutes and decided to cut our losses and asked for the check instead. the only other table near us was also seated for 45 minutes with no drinks or apps brought out. we had to ask someone else who worked there for the check because our waiter was still nowhere to be found. she told us there was an issue with the ticket printer in the bar and that caused the delay, but why couldn't our waiter let us know that? and why did the entire bachelorette party have several rounds of drinks in the time that we were waiting? our waiter saw us leaving and finally said "oh you guys are closing already?" like he hadn't deserted us to pay all his attention on a different party. tip was also included, which isn't an issue but the service did not deserve a $50 tip considering what we went through.
