"This restaurant doubles as an immersive gallery housing some of China’s best known art and is the product of a Hainan-born owner and French curator. The signature poached chicken is made with free-range, antibiotic-free Wenchang birds that are about 180-day old; however, you may pre-order older chickens if you prefer a stronger flavour. The wholesome eight-treasure chicken soup steamed for six hours in a whole coconut is also recommended." - Michelin Inspector

They might have changed their name/owners lately as it's now "Sunny Bowl" or 幸福食堂 in Chinese. Nevertheless, they serve pretty much the same thing, Taiwanese style noodles. The food was fine, and I like their cuttlefish ball the most. During rush hours when you can't find a spot to sit down at the K11 food court which is 20m away, you may want to give this canteen a try.

The beef noodles were actually pretty good. The beef was tender, the noodles were al dente, and the broth was flavorful. However, the other dishes were a little disappointing, especially the 蛋餅, which was way too thick and doughy. Diners order through a QR code, so there is no staff to take your order, but they completely forgot about my boba milk tea.

Delicious! I had the Fried Taiwanese Chicken with Braised Pork bowl. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken is amazing! The bowl is very filling. The place can be a little difficult to find, so when you get off the escalator in the basement food court, walk all the way to the back and you'll see a hallway on your left with lots of dessert and coffee stands/shops. Walk past all these shops/stands and Chan Taiwan is at the end, on the right.

📍饞.台式食堂 @Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong 🖤好食 (quality):😋😋😋😋😋 🤍環境 (environment): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🤎服務 (service): 💗💗💗💗 - I have got a spot for you to enjoy some traditional Taiwan food in Hong Kong and the prices are pretty good too! 👀They are located at the bottom level of K11 Musea and they serve traditional Taiwanese food like minced pork rice and fried platter! 💗This time, I tried: 🍜Minced Pork Rice/Noodles 🍜 Who is also a Minced pork fan here? I am always so drawn to minced pork with rice/noodles and theirs completed my cravings. 🫣Not only they have enough sauce on top, they also have veggies and eggs to balance out the oiliness which is great! 🫶🏻 🍗Fried Popcorn Chicken and Taiwan Sausage 🍗 We also got a platter full of fried popcorn chicken and sausages. I am absolutely in love with the Taiwan sausage but do not eat too much of it, it gets very salty after! 🥰 💜Fried Sweet Potato QQ Ball 💜 Their QQ balls are freshly fried and they look so cute in presentation!! I was absolutely in love with the colour too! They are a perfect bite size snack/dessert! ✌🏻 This is definitely a great place to enjoy some yummy food with your friends! I think all of them are shareable! 🫶🏻💗 Thank you for the great hospitality and the yummy food! @chan.taiwan.cuisine 🤍

The Taiwanese popcorn chicken was incredible! Had a bowl with lots of different things in it like spicy minced pork, rice, stir fried lettuce, half a tea egg, preserved veg and the popcorn chicken. Their iced fruit teas are also great!

Tried twice. Rice was way too salty. Then tried noodles… worse as the soup base was strong in MSG. Meat was fine. Chopsticks couldn’t really pick noodles up! A mess. Not going for the third time.
