Tour Some of the Bay Area’s Best Indian Food Trucks With Baker, Author, and ‘Masterchef’ Star Hetal Vasavada | Eater SF

"Painted in a rainbow of colors and set among steel-drums, fire pits and Bollywood music, the Chandni Chowk truck is where I go for chai and pani puri that taste like home: I try cutting chai — a stronger, longer-brewed 'half cup' with concentrated tea, ginger and cardamom — and matka chai, which picks up an earthy, smoky note from the clay mug (the mugs are customarily smashed afterward, though you can take one home). For pani puri, the staff fill each crunchy puri with mashed chickpeas and one of five waters — mint, khatta meetha (sweet-and-sour), kala khatta (tart), pineapple (sweet) and a tart, spicy pomegranate — and hand them over to be eaten immediately; beware, some of the panis are a little spicy. I often tell my Indian friends, 'Let’s meet at Chandni Chowk.'" - Lauren Saria

Google
They have some good chat options and North Indian dishes like Chole Bature. The atmosphere is great. Plenty of parking and Indian grocery store is close by.

I visited there first time with my husband as I heard about it from my friends. I ordered pani puri dahi wale and believe me it's out of the world! Really tasty other than more of the restaurant I tried. After that I again ordered papdi chat that was also too good. Staff is very nice also. Highly recommend who are craving to have some chatpata. A MYST TRY!!

Google
Visited for dinner on a Saturday night. The place has a unique vibe, though parking was a bit tricky. Tried papdi chaat, kulche chole, and chole bhature. Chole was tasty and mild, bhature felt a little dry, and the chaat lacked chutneys—mostly just dahi. Overall, food was okay, but it’s a good spot if you want to hang out late at night and chill with friends.

Google
I was really looking forward to the live pani puri station, and it didn’t disappoint. The khatta meetha pani was the best, others were average imo. 3/5 because the other food options we tried were very average in taste. Chai was good but overpriced. Will be visiting again but just to get the pani puri here. Parking was easy to find at 6pm, and there was no wait on a weekday.

Google
Buzzy atmosphere at this outdoor food truck stop. Right across the strip mall anchored by Apni Mandi grocery store, this joint cordoned off an empty parking strip to create a scene right out of Delhi’s namesake town center. Standing-room only eatery serving snacky meals out of two food trucks. One that has monos and indoor-Chinese fare like Hakka noodles and Manchurian. The other truck serves chat items and chole bhature. Crowd was full on a weekend night and there were gas-fire pits to keep them warm. Upbeat Hindi pop music with outdoor string lights create a scene were you could step out with a roommate, get a bit and people-watch. I went for my night craving, had my fill with Hakka noodle and with a side of human connection.

Google
The vibe here is really lively. You can feel the desi atmosphere as soon as you walk into Chandini Chowk. We ordered Samosa Chaat and Pani Puri. The Samosa Chaat was delicious, packed with chutneys and yogurt. The Pani Puri comes with different types of water, and you get eight pieces to choose from flavors like mint, khatta meetha, kala khatta, pineapple, and mango. I really liked the khatta meetha pani the best. The chaat came out quickly, but we had to wait about 20-30 minutes for the pani puri. The best part is that we didn’t have to wait aimlessly, it was well organized with buzzers.

Google
Great place for some delicious live pani puri and chole Kutcher. The momo truck does also have some great momos to go for.

Aditya C.

Google
Loved the vibes. Food not so much. Great place to hangout with friends. There are a lot of food trucks and Indian restaurants in the vicinity. Gather food and eat together by the fire. Really nice decor and vibes. Food was pretty ok. There is a lot of scope for improvement. The pricing is also pretty steep for the taste you get so I won't rate it higher. Still worth going and exploring.

Yelp
I have been a fan of Aavash since he opened his first truck Momo Cook. It has been an honor watching his journey to now opening a restaurant featuring all his best dishes. The food quality has stayed consistent for over 6 years. He makes the most flavorful chowmein and the orange sauce he makes is the best it goes well with everything. Anytime aim craving momo or chowmein I think about his dishes. It was my first time trying the full menu. I enjoyed the BBQ chicken with rumali roti it was very smooth and savory. I had the dahi vada and lakhpati chaat and enjoy the lakhpati more because it has some crunch and more flavor. The chai was also good my husband ordered it twice and it was served in a cute tradition chai holder stand. I appreciated the amount of detail they paid attention to maintain the vibe of chandni chonk. His chowmein is not oily and has so much flavor just eating alone is a party for your taste buds. The ambience if the restaurant is super cute and authentic. You can see that they put a lot of time and energy into crafting their menu and decorating the restaurant. I am so happy that this great food is now available in Milpitas.

Yelp
Not my first time at Chandni Chowk, but this time we tried a few different things--Chhole Samosa, Papdi Chaat, Dahi Puri, and of course the live golgappe and chah (pretty sure they call it Matka Chai). The chhole were excellent--perfect color, perfect taste. Samosa was just okay. Papdi chaat was also fine, though I kept wishing they added a bhalla (vada) in there--it would take it to the next level. Dahi puri was okay too, but honestly I only wanted one or two of those... would've been great if the last golgappa at the live station could be a dahi one. The chai was disappointing this time--not the same as before. Ambiance and vibe are always fun here, and service was quick, which I appreciate.
google avatar

Namrata S.

Yelp
Food: They just add chilli sauce and a TON of oil to the top of the Cholay, these are not good. Their dahi vada was good. Service: Took cash from me, gave me no receipt and kept my change, when I asked for change they said they didn't have it and tried to give me parle G crackers?? You need to have a sign that says no change if you take cash, and receipts need to be provided, 0 understanding of liability and implied a desire to take advantage of the situation. I paid for the food, I asked for change, I let it go that they didn't have it and refused the biscuits and then they had the audacity to be rude to me. No thanks :)

Yelp
Chandni Chowk is a chain chaat place that serves high quality street food in the Bay. This location in Fremont is a food truck where you can get live pani puri (you get 8 with 1 order and can choose which of the 5 panis you'd like to try). We did have to wait in line for a bit for our order, but the samosa chaat was flavorful and delicious. The pani puris were also unique and fun to eat. This place is great for a quick snack and good vibes, and it's also next to to Deccan Morsels and Apni Mandi.

Chiristine K.

Yelp
Pani puri is awesome( tangy, full of flavours). I recommend this food truck and will try more food next time.
google avatar

Sumedha D.

Yelp
The atmosphere would make you feel like you're in India. My friends and I had their chhole kulche and golgappe. The service was super quick for chhole kulche but golgappe since it's live counter it's a little slow. The chhole kulche were piping hot which was awesome. It tasted great but wouldn't say it was authentic kulche. Golgappe were not bad. They had 5-6 flavors of paani, but in my opinion apni mandi has better golgappe.
google avatar

Kanika K.

Yelp
The place gets 5 stars for its pani puri. 8 puris for 8.99 with four flavors. Def try their mint and khatta meetha water. The pomegranates and Kala khata water are so so flavored. The service is fast. I really like the concept of outside fire pits and wish they had a larger area with more fire pits. We tried their samosa chaat and it frankly sucked. We couldn't eat it and had to toss it in the trash. I have been here several times for the pani puri and will go again for only that. The Matka chai is also so so. I'd recommend getting chai from Chaiwalla instead.
google avatar

Soumen B.

Yelp
Live pani puri with several options for the pani is their top sellers. You get a buzzer and at once 2-4 folks are served live. Great idea in an excellent location with good ambiance. The surrounding place is lively, gives you good Indian street food vibes. Chole kulche and dahi poori didn't impress as much as pani puri. Several revisits only for the live pani puri.
google avatar

Ramona B.

Yelp
One of the best Indian food trucks in Fremont. They serve tasty chai in clay cups (disposable) making it feel super authentic. My favorite item from their menu is chole with is serviced with chapati/roti but I like to get an extra one. If you're a fan of spicy food then you'll love the food. The food truck is located across from Fremont Apni Mandi. The parking might be a challenge but not impossible. On the weekends this location gets super busy making it a fun place to visit. Would definitely recommend.
google avatar

Sid G.

Yelp
The place has a great atmosphere with cool lighting and oil barrels repurposed as standing tables, plus a cozy fireplace. We tried the chole-kulcha and chai. The chole was tasty, but the kulchas were a bit underwhelming. However, I really enjoyed the chai!
google avatar

Gagan G.

Yelp
Food was really good and is very spicy depending on what you get. For true Indians only. It's also a standup place so you can't sit down. Pain puri rlly good
google avatar

Dixie L.

Yelp
TL;DR: - pass on the chai tea and try the momo dumplings next door instead. parking: - generous parking available wait time: - zero ambiance: - unique food truck experience that comes with several fireplaces and music. food: [Not Worth It] - chai tea: decided to try this since we wanted a hot beverage on a chilly evening night. Everyone else around us was ordering this so we thought it likely was good. It was not the case! It tasted very bland and thick-- after 2 sips I couldn't finish it.

Yelp
I think one of the best things about the Bay Area is the multitude of authentic or near-authentic foods and experiences of different cultures. My boyfriend and I randomly stumbled upon this gem of a place in while visiting Apni Mandi, a huge 24-hour Indian grocery store. We noticed the lively and warm energy and checked it out. We ordered matka chai and a set of pani puri (8 in each set). The chai was so comforting - creamy, sweet, and spiced. The pani puri experience was fun and delicious. The outer shell is crispy, filled with potato, and then dipped into pani puri water. There were 5 pani puri waters. The pineapple one was unique and delicious. The staff were nice The area was clean. My favorite was the firepits. I didn't see any restrooms but it seems to be more of a quick hangout spot. I highly recommend :)
google avatar

Neel D.

Yelp
My wife and I loved the paanipuri. Lots of options for the pasni, served fresh out of a food truck for an authentic experience. Didn't have to wait long either.

Apoorv G.

Yelp
Shitty food. Too much oil. All frozen stuff. Waste of money. Quantity is also terrible
google avatar

Helen T.

Yelp
i love pani puri!! there's not much here in washington so this was a real treat. it's live so you eat them immediately as they hand you one after the other. it's fun to do this with someone else or a group. my favorite was definitely the khatta metha which has tamarind in it! it's refreshing and savory at the same time.
google avatar

Chandrika B.

Yelp
Found this amazing gol gappa/ pani puri place that satisfies my delhi craving after 8 years of search!! Love their short and sweet menu and fantastic dance songs blaring out of a food truck near apna bazar indian store in fremont. The staff is friendly and the line is always long :) They have live paani puri counter where u can choose from 4-5 different flavors of dipping water - so cool!! I just loved the "khatta meetha". Another highlight for me was the banta soda or kanchhe wali bottal if u all remember from school days back home in india. The masala and the tastte was so refreshing and nostalgic. Mazaaaa!! Slightly more expensive for the price i would want to pay at a food truck but worth it for gol gappa and banta $6. Chk out menu pic below. Dahi sev puri was average - good quality ingredients but very soggy and over loaded.
google avatar

Shweta S.

Yelp
What a fun food truck! The aesthetics are so cool! Regarding the food itself - we loved it! We only got the Dahi Sev puri and the pani puri and both were good. There are 5 pani puri flavors and my personal best was the pineapple. So unique!
google avatar

Danielle C.

Yelp
Interesting food truck in this tiny parking lot. I tried the pani puri and they scoop it for you live one at a time. But you have to eat it right away before you can get the next one. I was a little shocked at this because I'm so used to just getting food at once but I had no choice so I ate some pani puris (like 4?) in a row. They were a bit spicy but I liked the tangy flavors overall. I liked them all! It's a bit messy though so you will probably spill a lot in your little bowl. I would come back again.

Samip G.

Yelp
Super fun place great music and company of unknown but still bearing a connection Very delectable food Thanks for the experience
google avatar

Kira N.

Yelp
Chole bathura and chaats are great. Their chole has such unique taste and vibe here is good and will take you back to old city memories back in india
google avatar

Ajit S.

Yelp
Colorful food truck (as in North India) and they play bollywood music to set the vibe. We tried the golgappas with spicy water (they have 5 kids of water to choose from). Also Dahi poori chaat. The Dahi poori chat was great but we have had better at other places. This place has lot of potential. Expect long lines so if you want to avoid crowd, go when they open (4pm). Strictly vegetarian menu. There is a momo truck next to eat if you want meat based options.
google avatar

Neha G.

Yelp
Chai is awesome. First time, I found a place in bay area that serve chai in kulhaad. Its definitely expensive - but good to try once. Good part is their location. Lot of other food places and grocery store there. Expect a lot of crowd on weekends. Will try other items next time.
google avatar

Chandni D.

Yelp
Had a great time enjoying food truck style desi food with my family! The bollywood music and dhaba style "tables" makes it feel like you're in india! The food, though on the pricier side, was really good! We got some dahi puri, chole kulcha, and thumbs up from the first truck and got hakka noodles, momos, and schezwan potatoes from the second. The highlights for me were definitely the schezwan potatoes and hakka noodles, so good! Also ended the night with paan from Apna Bazaar, definitely recommend for a fun evening out with friends and/or family!

Yelp
Updating my review based on owners feedback. I do review small business and give my authentic review. If I like it or i do not, then it reflects on my review. I take my Elite status seriously too. New version: Pros - What caught my eye is how lively and vibrant the scene looked. It felt like I was transported back to India. Perfect street style vibes, live bands performing music on some days, vibrant colors, hustle bustle and warmth from the colorful fire pits. - Desi food, peppy music and surrounded by fellow snack food lovers. - Ample parking - Absolutely visit if you are feeling homesick or missing India. - My niece and I were dancing happily to the beats of the music and enjoyed our visit here. - Lot of street food snack options at this food truck. Chai is being raved about. Cons - I have only tried pani puri here and not satisfied with the taste, freshness or the flavors of pani. I only liked the mint water. The filling was less and lacked flavor. 8.99$ for 1 plate of pani puri is on the pricy side. I have had better and tastier live pani puri for lesser price in Fremont area. I have not tired other dishes so I cannot comment on them. Old version: Not sure whats the hype about this place but the pani puri my family and I had last night was a joke. Only the mint water was decent rest all were not tasty. Vibe is great. Music, fire pits, colorful arena.
google avatar

Victor G.

Yelp
Chandni Chowk is a colorful food truck next to a parking lot of a large Indian grocery. this food is typical Delhi street food. the scene at night is lit with colorful lights and Indian music. dining is on steel drums, no chairs, standing room only. offerings: live pani puri. 5 panis: mint, kala khatta, khatta meetha (spicy), pineapple, pomegrate. flavors mostly watery fruit flavors, chaat, chai, chloe kulche. eats: live pani puri (8/8.99) -puris are fried hollow, crispy dough balls that can be filled with liquids and/or food condiments. the puris here have basic pani (liquid flavors). -the puris are filled one by one by vendor, placed in a small food tray, u eat it whole. process repeats with another one. one can have a variety of pani. -i liked the mint and fruity ones. the spicy one is interesting, *not suitable for take away. made individually to be eaten immediately. take outs: -food is fresh tasting. limited menu -while take away is possible. eating it asap is the best option for optimal taste -lots of parking in the parking lot. -gets busy at peak times in the evening. -hours skewed late afternoons on. weekends are all day.

Rakshit P.

Yelp
Where to begin. This spot just hits different. It's nostalgic on wheels. Its one of the few places in the bay that serve live pani puri. And they have multiple flavors. The service is comparatively fast, based on the amount of people that crowd up this spot. Also, there is always Indian music playing which makes you wanna dance :D Apart from the pani puri, which is very good, I have also tried some of the other chaats here which are very tasty as well. The food along with the ambiance here makes me wanna drive 45 mins to reach here :)
google avatar

Derrick D.

Yelp
Came here late evening for dinner. It's food truck trying to give you India feels for having pani puri outside. The Togo service was quick but the wait for pani puri stall was crazy long. Very loud music playing in background can get annoying real quick and is uncalled for. I got the chole bature and samosa chole for to go. Both were decent tasting and can recommend. Samosas filling was bit hot. Pani puri is bit hyped and flavors are okay. Overall pricy place and you get 10 puris for pani puri. Not sure if I'll visit again but for one time it's okay.
google avatar

Gianguido G.

Yelp
I am not Indian... a friend took me here. Super nice food and great atmosphere. Quite hypster. Northern Indian cuisine. Pricey but super good It is a bunch of food trucks... lot to choose from.

Alka D.

Yelp
Visiting Bay Area and tried couple of dishes their Pani poori is absolutely yummy, went back for more next day. Kids tried chicken monk's and gave it 4/5. Service was excellent also. Not much of ambiance on week days but I have heard it's pretty lively on weekends.
google avatar

Amanda N.

Yelp
Always come here for the panipuri. My friend introduced me and I love trying new foods. We make this a regular thing to come at least once a month. It's a food truck and located in a parking lot. I love the variety of flavors (pineapple, passion fruit, Khatta Meetha, Kala Khatta Pani. I always order with their chai tea that's provided in a clay cup. Definitely worth a try.
google avatar

Salim K.

Yelp
Amazing experience that took me way back in time. Loved the vibe, the setup the entire atmosphere and the very specially decorated/painted truck just made everything perfect. We ordered quite a few rounds of Live Pani Puri and topped that up with cutting chai. All but for the Pomegranate water for the Pani Puri were a hit and tasted pretty authentic (as much as it could get :) ). Wait times can be a bit crazy on weekends though weekdays would not turn out to be that bad if you have made it early in the evening to the truck. Would love to go back and try the other options they got on the truck for sure.
google avatar

Aman J.

Yelp
Took me back to india. Such a cool experience eating pani puri served individually that you're transported to Panjab. I really enjoyed tons of flavors of pani puri water. Samosa chat was great! I do think the chai could be a little sweeter/tastier - but it's hard to make chai to fit everyone's taste/ preferences so that's expected. Service was fast, and the seating takes you back to dhabas in panjab. I love the fun atmosphere in the evening, it's such a vibe with fun music!
google avatar

Neha H.

Yelp
Delicious Pani puri food truck where you can get live Pani puri. It has five different flavors, my favorite were the Kala khatta and mint. I'm craving it again right now! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and enjoy Pani puri.
google avatar

Krystal B.

Yelp
The food was the best I've had since being in India. The Chole Kulche was absolutely incredible! The atmosphere is so fun: outdoor eating with lights, a fire pit and music. Took me right back to India. I'll be coming back!
google avatar

Vrushali N.

Yelp
It's not just a place you go eat Indian street food at, it's a vibe, an emotion. And if you've had a rough day it can also be a refuge, where you can let the 90s Bollywood music take you back to the happy days of your childhood. 5 stars for the Pani Puri because you get 8 pieces instead of 6 like at other places. That means you can try all 5 flavors and then use the remaining 3 puris to go seconds or thirds on your fave flavor . Dahi Sev Puri also comes with 8 puris stuffed to the hilt with potatoes, yogurt, Sev and their very tasty chutneys. 7 stars for the ambience they have created with the fire pits, the oil drums and the amazing music. The servers are all very nice and polite too. They are open till midnight all 7 days, so don't wait too long to go experience this place.
google avatar

Nora K.

Yelp
Go for the ambiance.. it transports you back to your Indian street food experience. We had a plate of pani puri with a variety of flavors !! Kala ghatta, ghatta meetta and pine apple were team favorites. The dahi puri was colorful and full of dahi.. a bit overwhelming. All in all I'd come back. But please be more mindful of the establishment and don't steal their tea cups!
google avatar

Arul D.

Yelp
Came to Chandni Chowk on a Saturday evening following some recommendation on Instagram. I'm glad I did not drive all the way just for this, met up with a friend so that made up for the drive. The food is pricey and I did not find it as unique as described in many Instagram blogs. The matka chai was the worst purchase, the flavor of the chai was alright but you could feel the matka taste, and maybe my specific matka was not baked all the way so I could feel the clay. The pani puri was more or less same as anywhere else but they are pricier though they give 8 it's better to split between two. The dahi papdi chat was the best of the three items we had and was a little bit on the sweeter side. Service was great we were with a toddler and the gentleman at the pani puri counter entertained her with some dry puris, kudos on that. Ambiance was indeed great, am sure it gets better as the sun goes down. Music was punchy and ample space to stand around. Parking is a bit tough as you have to park across the street in the lot shared with Apna Bazaar and that's always busy.
google avatar

Aryan G.

Yelp
Suprisingly delicious street food with cute signs and decorations that remind us of the real Chandi Chowk in Dehli. Our whole family went on a weeknight at around 10 pm and we got there it was really lively and happening. I can imagine these trucks having a absolute queue on Friday or Saturday night. There were a few items that stood out and make these 2 food trucks better than most Indian restaurants around the Bay. Must Try: Samosa Chaat - just perfect Chole Kulcha - I've honestly never had chole that was this rich in flavor. It was a deep deep masala that was served piping hot. - the kulcha and baturra could've been less oily but that was part of the experience I guess Chow Mein - better than any Nepalese restaurant - strong garlic flavor that it blended smoothly with the dish - very satisfying I would honestly give this place 5 starts and that's what I felt that night I had the food, but something you have to build the appetite for since it's just a lot at once (which is great thing, just not that often).

Rohit S.

Yelp
Went to this food truck with a bit too many expectations I guess. We tried chole bhatura, pani poori, and dahi papdi chaat. All three were really poor quality and taste. I am giving it two stars instead of one mostly because of the music, fire pits, and drums to eat food on. Would have been nice to have some chairs to sit on, too.

Rohit R.

Yelp
One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to, their pani puri is one of the best in the South Bay and they have great chicken and vegetarian entrees, I especially like the Aslaam BBQ chicken and the palak paneer. Considering they are one of the only restaurants open late, and the staff is extremely nice you should definitely check this place out.
google avatar

Gaurav K.

Yelp
Was not expecting this food truck to be this good! We tried chole kulche, pani puri/gol gappe, masala chai, banta soda and bun maska. All the items mentioned above were hands down fresh and worth every single penny. Service was quick and they were very helpful. The atmosphere gave me the feeling of nostalgia and I think that pretty heavily influences my review here haha
google avatar

Sol I.

Yelp
Funky food truck with Bollywood music playing in the background! The vibe is one of eating street food in India. Have to get tokens and wait for the buzzer for both food and panipuri. Food came very quickly despite the crowd but the pani puri buzzer took a long while to ring. We got the samosa chat, chole kulche and cutting chai. Both food items were good, the chole itself was very tasty, although the kulcha had a slight aftertaste to it, but eating it with the chole, yogurt and pickle hit the spot. Definitely needs to be eaten in front of the truck though, likely won't be as good if packaged. There's a few drums which people can use as ad hoc tables. Standing space only. The cutting chai was tasty although pricey, matka chai is also available, at a higher price. Panipuri has 5 different waters one can choose from for each puri. The pomegranate and pineapple were not for us, tasted odd. The mint, khattha meetha and kala kattha were ok, nothing exceptional. They put aloo masala in the puris before dunking it in the water, so for folks looking for the style of pani puri where hot chole and chutneys are available for inside the puris, this is not the place for that. The food above was enough for two people, there is momo truck next to it which was tempting but we were full. Parked in the lot in the opposite street where there are other stores.

Jro B.

Yelp
I thought I wrote a review for it already, but I think i wasjust taking pictures and posting it, but anyway, as far as the food goes this fantastic, awesome medley, a flavor and the profile of the stuff it's just amazing they have on the spot and the Samosa shot is just to die for I think I've tried half of the menu by now and I'm looking forward to try the other half I think and my girlfriends ate there for a week straight. It's a fantastic food truck with a lot to offer.
google avatar

Ravi K.

Yelp
We decided to get the tea before we head out for dinner. This food truck is dope. The whole setup is so cute, and the music was good. Loved their tea. Will surely come back to try other items on their menu. The prices are reasonable. The service was quick. Overall a great place to get quick bites and hang out with friends and family.

Dishi P.

Yelp
Love the colourful ambiance, 90s music and fire pits. Food is tasty. Though I feel it's expensive than other food trucks around for the quantity it is served. I am not sure if live panipuri station is sustainable for longer run. Needs more management and overlook. People kept waiting for turns and server couldn't keep track of how many orders to serve. Chole quantity needs to be more for two bhaturas.
google avatar

Pallavi P.

Yelp
Tucked away on Fremont Blvd is this food truck serving some delicious chat & chole kulche, saving a few other items. However, what the menu lacks in variety, it makes up in taste! We got the live Pani puri, where you are served Pani puris as they are expertly made by hand. They have a variety of flavors - khatta meetha was my favorite. This is the usual way Pani puri is served in India, so it was great to not have to deal with the DIY version that is served in most chaat places here. We got the dahi puri - a delicious blend of fillings and dips that made this is a super flavorful dish. We also got the chole kulche - delicious garbanzo beans in gravy, served with soft & fluffy kulche (bread) accompanied by a yogurt dip & Indian pickle. Garnished with a fried green chili, it packed the perfect punch. This being a did truck, you have to stand & eat your food. There are some metal barrels that can be used as tables and we enjoyed our meal the classic street food style. It being a rather cold night, they had thoughtful placed fire pits by these makeshift tables giving the place an Indian "dhaba" (casual roadside eatery) vibe. Overall, we enjoyed all the dishes we ordered and will be sure to go back to sample more of their offerings!

Yelp
Great place with great vibe. The music was turned down which was much appreciated We went just for the paani puri, however ended up ordering dahi puri and chole kulche, both of which were good. Chole kulche in particular was unexpectedly amazing. Pani puri was with 5 flavors, good to taste all 5. Kaala khatta flavor was great. Overall, a must visit for people who like such food.

Yelp
The atmosphere of the street and the adjacent shopping area is electric and lively. One can easily spend time walking around and sampling food from the carts and restaurants in this area with loud music playing in the background for some extra entertainment. We got samosa chaat and chole kulche here. While we waited for our food we warmed ourselves by the fireplace they had setup. Both our dishes were delicious. They had sweet chutney on one side and spicy chutney on the other side on the samosa chaat. Due to the relative darkness near the cart it was difficult to see whether we were getting a sweet or spicy spoonful, it would have been better if they drizzled both the chutneys over the entire dish instead. The chole kulche on the other hand were not too spicy and perfectly spiced. It was served with a fried chilli which provided a nice extra kick of heat.
