Amazing restaurant with a comfortable, warm atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the Latin food is absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavor. We came from NY out to Jersey for the day. And my husband and I and the family wanted good Guatemalan food. The place was so good and the service was awesome . Can’t wait to go back again.

Lovely restaurant and adjoining bakery. Order in the bakery side and then sit on restaurant side. First time having Guatemalan food🇬🇹 and it was delish. And so was the breads/desserts in their bakery. 🤩 Had the chicken in cheese sauce (pollo en crema) with rice, beans, house made tortillas which more soooo good , and a salad. Soda Tiky de 🍍 Got to go back for the breakfast! Very nice people and very reasonable prices. The guy that helped me was very nice.

yesterday me and my youngest daughter went in this establishment because we was hungry and the way they treated us was horrible mind you they are flat in the middle of the hood and no one in there speaks English it was just horrible y'all 😡 my daughter asked one lady for a menu she said they didn't have no menu then I asked another lady for a menu and she told me they does have a menu but wouldn't hand it to me .. .people just have to do better if you're going to put a restaurant in the middle of a black community at least has someone in there that speak English and don't treat us like we don't count do better we like to try new foods as well cuz that was my whole intentions going in this restaurant and they basically turned us around

HORRIBLE ! I’m half Guatemalan , I’ve been to Guatemala . I have a Guatemalan grandmother. The chow mein was good. Kinda cold. Idk every Guatemalan restaurant in NJ the food is always cold. I’ve been to Guatemalan restaurants in California even to the Guatemalan night market and the food is amazing . It’s even hot ! And they’re vendors. The Tortillas were cold and didn’t even have the thickness to them like Guatemalan tortillas. Also ordered the chicken with rice and frijoles. When I went to break the chicken up there was barely any chicken all of it was bone and fried skin. I was eating it at the Liberty state park once I noticed how little bit of chicken was in this fried chicken that I was charged $10 for . Rice and frijoles and a chicken that was fried bone. I had to drive back and tell them how I didn’t want this plate. They refunded me the $10. It’s sucha shame that the food wasn’t what I was expecting. I give them a 1 star cause the chow mein was okay. I guess I’ll just have my grandma cook me some food. Go to California or Guatemala if you want the real deal.

I’m Guatemalan and rarely get to eat and enjoy the yummy dishes from guatemala and I’ve heard a lot about this place , my cousin took me! And omg We Had the breakfast with the carne asada ! In love!! I’m so ready to go more often and try out more Of the other dishes! 😋
