Charbroil Grill Brazilian Steakhouse

Very expensive, over $100 per head if you have a drink with your dinner and leave a tip. However, they had the most awesome food I have ever eaten. Filet mignon, prime rib, grilled jumbo shrimp, grilled pineapple, rack of lamb, all of them are all you can eat. Wow.

We like going to Fogo de Chao, so we wanted to try this place for my birthday dinner because we saw it on Instagram and looked nice. Almost all cuts of meat were very very overcooked and service was super slow; we were only able to eat like 8-9 pieces of meat during our visit. If you like to eat meat non stop at AYCE place like I do, this is not the place. Guaranha(Brazilian ginger ale) is $5/can. So freaking expensive! And NO REFILL but server won't tell you that and will ask you if you'd like another guaranha. Keep this in mind if you want to order it. The server was very nice, however, she was not very attentive. We were not able to find her when we needed her. I feel like this place is not worth the price you pay. For like $60/person, I do expect better. We will go back to Fogo de Chao. Fogo knows how to grill meat to perfection.

This steakhouse is better than Fugo De Cho by far. The assortment of meats and the brunch bar was excellent. Also the service was 1000% good never asked for a refill she kept our glasses full. We asked for well done meat and everything they brought to the talble.was we'll done. This is awesome. I would give them 6 stars if I could. I highly recommend this place.

I went here for my husband’s birthday! We both took that first bite of meat and melted, it was perfect. The sirloin is amazing and cooked well! One of the best steaks I’ve had in a long while. Everything tasted good! The grilled pineapple was indescribable, so tart, sweet, and also caramelized with a bit of char! My husband didn’t like it, but I’m the real foodie around here. I know good food! There was also a great selection of items up at the bar! It was just everything you hope to get out of a brazzilian steakhouse. This is coming from someone who wasn’t too fond of Fogo De Chao, but LOVED it here. The meat was definitely grilled with care!

This place is pretty good. Nice variety of steaks they bring out throughout your meal. Takes some getting used to eating so much before you even taste the last three steaks, but all n all pretty good. For the service of all you can eat steak, id say its pricey but more than reasonable for all of what you're getting.

We've been coming to this place for years, the new soft closing steam trays at the hot food bar are a nice upgrade. Staff was great, food was tasty, selection was good and if you don't see something you want ask for it. We always get the grilled pineapple and the cheese breads.

3rd annual Christmas eve family dinner last night. As usual, the food was great, and service very friendly. However, the prices have increased tremendously. And while the food was delicious, there was minimal meat being passed. The wait for more skewers to come around was quite obvious. It seems like the restaurant was purposely controlling how much food was available, either that of the cooks were not prepared with the right amount of food for their customers. Either way, for 4 adults and 1 child, with sodas, coffee, 3 desserts ($13.50 a slice), our bill came to over $400 with $35 food tax. Crazy!! Unfortunately, we will be choosing another restaurant for our annual Christmas eve dinner next year.

We celebrated Father's Day a week early. The food was amazing as always. The selection of salads, fruit, soups, and meat in the bar was fantastic. The carved meats they bring to your table were so tender and flavorful!! Plus, there's a waffle station, omelet station, and hot pasta station. The choices are endless, and we left incredibly full!! Can't wait until out next brunch.

Food was cooked to perfection! The meat was plentiful and mouthwatering! Certainly got our moneys worth! Staff and servers were outstanding! The buffet sides and salad bar was outstanding!

It is not an ordinary buffet. Waitless taking your order on their tablet and starting to make the food then bringing it to you. You need to order the next dish in advance so you don't have to wait 5~15 min. with an empty dish until the next dish brings it to you. This is very inconvenient. They should order paper ready on the table so you can pick your dish and give it to the waitless before your dish is empty. The food quality and price is good, but fish on the rice is too small and very thin. (UPDATE) I went sushi camp today(11/15/2025), the dinner price went up to $25.99 website price is still $23.99

Just go to Chima over at Tyson's. I literally left a whole plate of meat because of how undercooked it was. Definitely won't be back . Thank me later.

My husband and I attended this place for brunch often, we've never experienced any big issues..... . I attended a birthday dinner for my auntie; the waitress took drink orders, never brought out rolls to the table; she never came back to do drink refills; we had to ask someone to locate her; our table was skipped on one of the meats (shrimp), they just stopped coming to our table. I was charged for a alcoholic beverage and didn't drink. My cousin had grease from the meats to drip on her shirt and jacket. It was an absolute disaster. I guess they're not use to big crowds or people who care about the level of service.

We called first to see if we needed reservations, we were told no for two people. As we entered we were cheerfully greeted and asked if we wanted a booth or table. We were given a choice of downloading their app for the drink menu, but when I asked for one, I was pleasantly given a copy to view. The salad bar provided many chilled selections and was stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables. There was a selection of hot soups, and fresh breads. The servers kept offering top grade meats, grilled shrimp and chicken so often that we had to tell them that we needed a break. The area was nicely decorated and well lit. Yes we're going to come again.

Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. Meat was a hit or miss and a second helping of the ones we did like never came. I really wanted to try the grilled pineapple but it never came to our table in the two hours we were there. I enjoyed the grilled shrimp and garlic sirloin the most. At the buffet, the plantains were good. Other meat was kinda gross to me

I gather a small group to surprise my parents of celebrating their 57th anniversary. It was a little funny as I walked in with my parents and the two male hosts ask how many? I was trying my best to discreetly inform them, there will be 15 but eventually he caught on as to why I wasn't able to speak loudly since parents were standing close by lol. As we sat by the host stand, each guest walked in through the front entrance and to their surprise and thought to themselves "Huh .. what a coincidence that they are eating at the same place we are." LoL. As we were getting escorted to our table, the restaurant was clean, pasta and waffle station is on the left side; big salad in the center, dining area is spacious but the chairs around the tables made it really cramp. They also have booth tables along the window wall and additional dining area near the bar. On each side and behind the salad bar, they have hot items along with a chocolate fountain. Since we were there for their Sunday brunch, the menu stated they offer 10 variety of meats but I only seen half of that. While the Brazilian cowboys who walked around with their roasted protein items on skewers, for some reason, they only serve one side of the table and not the other. The majority of the protein that was presented was picanha (top sirloin); it stated there was garlic picanha but no one seen it. I seen the two types of sausages and one chicken item. I didn't see any of the chicken legs or pork items. The protein that I was able to eat was very well seasoned and delicious. Then at one point, there was NO cowboys around on the floor. Weird. Our server Daniela was friendly and knowledgeable but disappeared the majority of the time. I had to asked other servers to refill our water. Even though this restaurant is a AYCE, it wasn't worth the price ($42.99) for the limited protein and the beverages were not included. Their salad bar doesn't have as much selection as most Brazilian restaurants but offer the essential items. The highlight was the pepper steak and bourbon chicken on the hot item around the salad bar. Another highlight was the short order chef behind making fresh pasta dishes, mini omelets and fresh waffles. For additional information the brunch hours is 10:30a-3p. If you decide to bring your own cake it's $25 to be store in the walk in.

Based on two previous good experiences here, we showed up yesterday. We came shortly after noon and were surprised how empty the restaurant was. It still has a great interior, but I think I know the reason for the scarcity of customers. Prices have been jacked up at the same time offerings have decreased. After we were seated our server told us that there were now two options. The first beef option for $40 was to get either sirloin or garlic sirloin steak. For both options there is still chicken and sausage. The second option, for $55 dollars, was the equivalent to the previous $38 option where you could try all the beef cuts. Ouch! And on Saturday they do not have the omelet and waffle bar, but do not charge less. Before deciding if we were going to stay, I took a spin around the soup, salad and dessert bar. It was much smaller than before. Though what they did have there looked very good. And there are no desserts. Zilch, nada, unless you count a handful of grapes. Charging $55 but not offering dessert? That didn't work for us, so we left. We will not be back.

All You Can Eat at Charbroil Grill, the Oldest Brazilian Steakhouse in the DMV since 2001! Serving Dry Aged cuts and using Charcoal to cook the meats to add extraordinary flavor! My favorite's were the Picanha cut of meat and the Flan that the Owner uses his Mom's Recipe for was so delicious, you have to try it if you're a fellow Flan lover! The experience was fantastic! We loved the food and the recent renovation for an elevated, modern dining experience! Service was fantastic and we were served first to get the best cuts of meat!!

I love charbroil grill. I've been to a few Brazilian steakhouses and this has to be my favorite. I've been for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. If you love salmon go for dinner. The Sunday brunch has so many options including omelette and pasta station. The staff is always nice. Def recommend coming here you'll leave happy and full.

So so good!! For the price and the quality is unmatched. And thus it was packed on an early Sunday dinner. Our server Frank took really good care of us, we were never with empty plates all throughout the dinner. I think this is a great all around restaurant for families, large groups and for those that dont want to break the bank going to Fogo etc. alongside the meat, I loved the grilled pineapple which I haven't tried before. Highly recommend this place

I took my Abuelita here for an early lunch one day and she loved it! The staff was beyond friendly and patient especially with her as a 90 year old! A family oriented restaurant for sure, thank you guys!

I had a great time! Went for my mother's birthday and it was fantastic, the side bar was good and the food kept coming to the table hot and fast. The service was excellent, we were sat quickly and the server explained how the place works very well to my family. The ambiance on the inside was great but the outside needs to be fixed and cleaned up. But overall it was a great experience! I definitely recommend going for events!

Good service. Food selections were good with a lot of variety on the bar. Plenty of offerings and in a timely manner with the meat selections.

Deliciousness - 3.5/5 Happiness - 3.5/5 This straddled the line between 3 and 4 but, in comparison to other Brazilian steakhouses, I decided to go with a 3. I really enjoyed the salad bar, which had more options (including a stir-fry style steak and some delicious glazed chicken) than I typically find at places like this. But when you go to a Brazilian Steakhouse, you're there for the meat. And it was... decent. A lot of the steak is glazed or seasoned in a sweet sauce that I didn't really enjoy (I dunked a lot of it into the chimichurri sauce from the salad bar to change the flavor profile). While a few cuts were universally enjoyed at the table - notably the beef ribs and flank steak - more of it was too fatty or poorly seasoned to be delicious from beginning to end. I was particularly excited to find salmon on the menu, but ended up not liking it at all. We also got a mango drink and a Caipirinha that lacked flavor at all. The staff certainly were very nice and attentive. This is also notably cheaper than places like Fogo, though it certainly isn't inexpensive. I'd go here again in a pinch since it was perfectly serviceable, but it doesn't quite compare to some of its competitors.

One of my favorite brazilian steakhouses because of their PINEAPPLE! This is what sets them apart from the other chain restaurants. Their dining room got an upgrade since the last time I went. Only thing I wish they had was mashed potatoes! My fav thing to eat with steak but their potatoes au gratin are good substitute! Frank is our favorite server, he is quick and proactive to anything i'd need. Request him if you can! I've been here on date nights, groups of friends, and saw families dining. Perfect for large groups because they have large seating areas!

Absolute trash I had to literally ask the waiters to START bringing the meat to my table. It was 9PM on a Friday. They were just bringing around the pineapple. Picanha steak was TRASH fyi. Go To CHIMA at Tyson's. Service is untouchable. Plus free valet parking. You probably don't have to ask for them to bring the meat around.

If you're into delicious steak this is where you need to be. Excellent cocktails and wines. The salad bar consists of soups, salad, 4 different hot dishes like black pepper beef and bourbon chicken as well as various cheeses and salami's. Expect constant offerings from skirt steak to filet mignon. There are sausages, chicken, lamb, and even shrimp. But don't forget to cleanse your palette with their scrumptious Brazilian grilled pineapple which we've never seen at Fogo. It's certainly a refreshing sweetness when dining on grilled meats. 2 folks with cocktails and tip rolled (literally) out of there for a couple C notes. The ambience is very nice and is well worth the visit.

Charbroil Grill is easily one of the best Brazilian steakhouses in the DMV. The newly renovated space looks amazing, giving it a modern and upscale feel. The food was top tier, and every cut of meat was cooked perfectly over charcoal, which made a huge difference in flavor. The picanha was especially tender and juicy. The hot and cold bar had plenty of fresh sides. Dessert was just as impressive. The Brazilian flan was smooth and creamy, the chocolate ganache cake was rich, and the passion fruit mousse was light and refreshing. Service was great, with the staff making sure we always had fresh cuts and everything cooked how we liked it. Coming back!"

Visiting on a Thursday night, I was quite surprised to see it was fairly empty. 4.5 stars overall primarily because we kept having to ask for specific food to be brought around which kept us waiting longer than we wanted to eat. Overall, I'm glad I was able to experience! Great salad bar choices and sides plus the meat selection was good with nice seasonings on each. The sauce for the salmon was quite peculiar, would definitely get it on the side or a little sauce dish.

This place was phenomenal! The ambiance was appealing, and offered pleasant distractions while dining and waiting between the different meats making the rounds to your table. The waitress was attentive, not overbearing, and ensure that every need was met...almost as if you were visiting her home. The food was decent, and the carvers were entertaining and generous with the portions. Go for a good time, appeased appetite, and look to visit again assuredly. The foot traffic is constant, so ensure your timing is good.

I went for Thanksgiving 11/27/2025 with my son for the very first time. Went to get sides twice and none of the people with meat came to our table, yet they went to every table around us. They walked by us every time and did not even look our way. After being there for 20 minutes, the waitress came over and asked has no one come by yet, we said no and she apologized and went over to them. Then they came over. Very disappointed.

The restaurant was clean (even the bathroom)! It smelled fresh! The food and the service were Top-Notch! I recommend going for Sunday brunch. The made to order omelets , waffles and create your on pasta dishes were AWESOME!

An incredible AYCE Brazilian Steakhouse! They have over 15+ cuts and I learned that they use charcoal fires to cook their meats (unlike other places that use gas grills). They also have dry aged cuts which is something you don't see at other Brazilian Steakhouses! There's plenty of seating on the inside and it's also the perfect place to go with a big group. Service was great, I swear the flow of meat did not stop down a single time. It was a little harder to get basic items such as refills on drinks and then eventually the check but it's understandable since they're so busy. My favorite cuts had to be the Picanha, Garlic Top Sirloin, and the Spicy Pork Sausage, but you really can't go wrong with any of their options.

This place is getting pricier by the visit, it seems, but I mean, they can back it up so.....Just be prepared to spend some money, particularly if you're dining with, or paying for, a large group. Ambiance - The ambiance is nice. The light seems to balance the dimness with having efficient lighting to actually see the food perfectly. Food - The food is consistent. Always good. There's a dot on your table where you flip it to green to get the servers to bring you meat, or flip to red to stop. Honestly, they come regardless. :) The choices at the "salad" bar are where you can get all the sides. That seafood chowder is amazing, but be careful. You want to save room for the meats. *Pro tip* - Hang around for the grilled pineapple! You'll thank me later!! They ask you what temperature you like your meat so they can be sure to accommodate you. Also, if they don't bring any of that cheese bread for the table, ask for it. It's wonderful! Customer service - The staff is really friendly and accommodating. They make sure you have everything you want. Overall, we come here a lot; and the price hasn't deterred us....much. :) It's also a really good place for brunch, where they have a pasta station and a waffle station.

VERY DISAPPOINTING! Today I was in Woodbridge and decided to have a steak lunch. Looking online I found the charbroil Grill website and they seemed to have good reviews; so I stopped in for lunch, not knowing what kind of steakhouse it is until I was greeted and told it is abuffet style, all you can eat restaurant very much the same style as Fogo de Chao in the DC area. The ambience was pleasant, the staff was very ATTENTIVE and polite and friendly. Their salad buffet is good. I'm not going to say it's excellent because it was not as sumptuous as the one at Fogo de Chão, but it was good. I sat down and the young lady who took care of me explained everything to me that they have a regular menu at $41 and an expanded menu at $55 that includes prime meats, such as filet mignon and others; so I opted for the expanded menu, again because I've never been to this restaurant before and so I thought I'll give it a try. The first item I received was a spicy sausage, which was absolutely exquisite! Very delicious very well prepared so much so that I even asked for a second one! But my disappointment began when I started receiving the meat items. I had told the server that I would prefer my meats prepared medium-well, but the first piece of meat I received was almost overcooked and tough, so I explained to her and asked her to change my orders to medium, which she promptly agreed. I liked the sirloins, the turkey and the shrimp. I did not really care for the lamb or prime beef because both of them tasted a little bit too fatty and not enjoyable, at least for my palate. But my biggest disappointment was the so-called "filet mignon" , it was prepared medium, which I liked, but it was tough. It was gristly and cooked with the blue skin on it. I did not eat even half a bite of it and then put it away. I explained that to the waitress and her justification was that it's a buffet style restaurant and so will not be prime quality meat! I paid my total bill which was came to $65 including one lemonade that I had and I rounded it up to $75 including tip; but I must say I don't think this lunch or this meal was worth more than $35 or $40 in my estimation. another issue that I would like to bring thing to the attention of this restaurant is that if you are calling yourself a steak restaurant, then at least provide a steak knife for the meats rather than a regular serrated-edge dinner knife that shreds the meat rather than cutting it, making it less enjoyable. Also, if you claim to serve filet mignon, then please make sure that your filet mignon is free of any gristle and the blue skin that was cooked together with the steak.

Can't get enough of this place. Had my granddaughters birthday dinner here. We were a party of 21 and the attention we received was OUTSTANDING!!! Definitely recommend this place for the great cuts of meats and I love the side bar. It is above the others. So many choices.

Bleh, for the price - definitely not worth the price. Save your money and take your butt to Chima or Fogo.

Today I went with a friend to this restaurant, and it was kind of late in the afternoon. The waitress asked us if we wanted the full meat all you can eat menu at 35 dollars. We were not hungry enough to spend that kind of money, so we asked her if they have just the salad bar. I was shocked to find out that the salad bar was close to 30 dollars. If we knew this, we would have walked right out of there. So now we now not to visit this restaurant ever again!!

I went there on a Sunday and they only have one serving of Prime Rib. Let me remind you that this is an AYCE Brazilian Steakhouse but since Covid, I noticed that the quality and quantity of food served; are lesser but the price is going up. I'm a frequent diner here with my wife, but we gave up due to the cut back and lack of servings

The ambience is fine, but they were not playing Brazilian music. Service was great, the waitress was amazing and so nice. The food though, in general not bad but it is not the authentic Brazilian food, the buffet was not what usually would be available in a Brazilian restaurant, I was disappointed about the food.

This place never disappoints! So much food, such a good price. Walked in and we were seated right away. The servers are always so personable and the gauchos~~#Amazing, your plate is never empty. Sirloin, sausages, chicken thighs, an amazing salad bar, waffles made to order... My husband had his customary caipiriinha, I had coffee and Sambuca. This really should be your brunch spot... If you haven't been here, you're truly missing out. Totally family friendly and relaxed.

Was an amazing anniversary dinner. The buffet was nice and the food didn't look like it was sitting for a while. The meats were good. The beef brisket and shaved steak were my favorite. The grilled pineapple was good and sweet too. The drinks were good. Our waitress was extremely sweet and amazing. The conversation from her was home felt. The dinner lighting and mood was good as it wasn't too loud or crowded in there as well. Will be returning again!!

Spend the extra 13-15 dollars per person and go to either Fogo or Chima. The meats here taste like Select grade, and the salad bar's presentation feels like a cut rate buffet or a hotel continental breakfast compared to the other two. Doesn't help that the restaurant itself has a dark, out-of-the-way ambiance to it dating back to moody late 80s pizza huts (not knocking pizza hut; there's a reason they went back to their old logos etc). It feels to me like Charbroil is kinda coasting or perhaps even struggling rather than taking risks to improve their product. If Charbroil was charging 40 per person, I could justify it as a bargain experience compared to the others. But at 50, they're competing with Texas De Brazil, Chima, Fogo, and losing against all of them. At this point, might as well bump up to 55, spend a bit extra on choice (or switch butchers if they're getting choice already because it doesn't taste like it), and update their salad bar. Credit to the service team though, they were on the ball with taking specific meat orders and refilling drinks, even though they brought the wrong drinks the first time.

My experience here was a little disappointing to say the least. They did get us seated quickly which I appreciate, and it was pretty packed but this doesn't come close to a restaurant like Fogo de Chão. They were a little slow with their meats, didn't pay much attention, and skipped tables while serving. I will say their customer service was very good and their servers and host were kind. Their meat was alright, but nothing to go crazy over and were a little overrated to be honest (although, you get what you pay for). All in all, if you're looking for a cheap place to eat steak it isn't terrible. But I probably will not be back.

The food was excellent we went for Sunday brunch , the restaurant is very clean , breakfast selection were excellent. The meat selections were limited for lunch . The service was not good our table was skipped quite often , but some customers were given special treatment .

We had a reservation for a party of 8 initially, and when we got to the hostess, the hostess said we could not be sat until we had 80% of our party. Unfortunately, 3 people were unable to male it at the last minute, dropping our count to 5 people. At this time, we had 4 out of the 5 people in the lobby. I asked the hostess if we could be seated as we had 80% of our party, and she said no, we had to wait for the 5th person. I said that is not what you told us before. Then the hostess decided to take us to our table. Upon getting to our table, she proceeded to seat us a table for 4 and said she would move us to another table once the 5th person comes. I told the hostess that was not right when we had a reservation for more than 4 people, and there was a table for 5 right next to us. Finally, after asking to speak to the manager, she let us sit at the table for a party of 5. The server approached the table with an attitude. After we ordered drinks, she started to be nice. While eating, we asked the servers coming around with meat for meat buy were repeatedly ignored while they served other tables. We finally had enough and asked the server for the manager again. Finally, we hear the manager telling the servers to vote by our table to serve us meat. Unfortunately, by that time, we were no longer interested and feeling discriminated upon. The manager then offered me a drink and a desert as it was my birthday and he could see how disappointed I was. However, $20 for the drink and dessert did not compare or make it acceptable for the $400 we spent. As this restaurant was my selection of choice for my birthday, I felt bad that my friends spent a lot of money at this establishment to leave disappointed. This experience has left a bad taste in our mouths and will mostly not return to this establishment. I hope no one has to experience the disappointment like we did.

I love Brazilian steakhouses and this one was delicious. We went during lunchtime so we had the place to ourselves for a bit. They can accommodate parties of all sizes. The servers were attentive and the food was fresh. I had an island lunch, which was a nice compliment to my meal. I paced myself so that I could try everything. My favorite was the black pepper steak, the garlic steak and the grilled pineapple. If in the area, I will definitely recommend.

Everything I tried was fantastic! I wish the salad bar was a little better for my wife who doesn't eat meat.

I went to celebrate a Birthday with 6 friends and after 2 hours we got kicked out of the stablishment. After paying a $600 bill in food and drinks. They said limit is 2 hours and they didnt care that we were still consuming drinks. They were very rude and kicked us out and laugh at our faces. Very bad service.

Charbroil Grill is the only Brazilian Steakhouse in the Woodbridge area, so that should be noted. The prices are actually really good too! (M-F lunch is $28.99). The food selection for lunch is quite a bit less than dinner, so be sure to check the menu online to know what to expect! I went the day after Christmas but it wasn't too hard to get a reservation and a good number of seating options were available. They were SEVERELY understaffed though. Only 1 person to cut/serve the meat and 1 person to handle checks, drinks, etc. Waiting times between meat cycles were 15+ minutes. They were very apologetic for wait times, but yeah. Getting a drink also took a similar amount of time. The atmosphere is definitely much more of a family-centered vibe than what you would find at other Brazilian steakhouses like Fogo or Chima. The food was alright and generally with the price. I may not come back again unless I hear that they have a bigger staff to handle expected service requests.
