The place was a total vibe.. the steak was good for the price. My best bite would be the chorizo criollo.. i felt like i was flying after i took a bite. Please order that! The next thing it the tartar which was very good, empanadas was great also. I had the leek which was okay. But the yuca for the steak sides… uh… not good at all. One bite and decided not to eat. Anyway the dessert was supersuper good! Love it! Overall, would come back.

Revisited after nearly four years, and the quality of both the food and the hospitality remains unchanged. As a foreign expat living in Madrid, I can confidently say this place is truly top-notch. A must-try starter is my all-time favorite, cecina. I also never miss their steak tartare, which is consistently excellent. This time, as there were just two of us, we opted for the solomillo, perfectly prepared. If you have a bigger appetite, do not hesitate to order the Galician chuletón — you won’t regret it!!

The restaurant was in a great location, the design and ambience of the place was amazing Staff were also friendly and tried to make the experience more pleasant. We went there for lunch time during weekdays but it was really busy; we were lucky to get a table. The meat was juicy and delicious; all their grilling is made on charcoal so the taste is different than other steakhouses

We recently visited Charrúa Madrid, and it instantly became one of our favorite spots in the city. The restaurant is small, cozy, and wonderfully romantic — the kind of place that makes you want to linger over every course. The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared, the kind of cooking that makes you excited for the next bite. The staff were equally impressive: attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. We loved it so much that we ended up eating here twice in just four days! That alone says everything. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Madrid.

What an amazing restaurant. The atmosphere is really unlike anywhere else I’ve eaten - the decor is beautifully done and the whole place has such an intimate feel to it, it feels very special. The food is also amazing - everything from the salads, to the French fries, to the steak, to the dessert - it was pretty flawless. My only negative is our table was 30 mins late - I get that this happens but really we should’ve been offered a drink for whilst we were waiting. Ordinarily this would’ve lowered my rating of a place but our waiter who served us when we were finally seated was brilliant and very apologetic about the situation - I think his name was Depack and he was great. Definitely would come back here

Great food & ambiance! Loved the wagu steak & the steak empanada may have been the best thing we ate! Gave atmosphere a 4 out of 5 since it was so hot and Smokey inside the restaurant due to the wood burning ovens.

Just had a sublime experience here. Amazing food, crafted excellence and quite possibly the best steak in Madrid. I will definitely be coming back, perhaps for a lunchtime sausage.
