There’s a variety of apps priced from $4 to $10 on the happy hour menu, including fried artichokes, sliders, fish tacos, lobster tartare, and more. Wanted a nice restaurant on our last night in Boston. A lot of history in the building. Good atmosphere. Inside and outside seating. Made reservation online. Employees were great. Good personalities. Wine list had some good Napa Valley wines on it. Appetizer was good, main courses were great, and the desert was delightful. We would definitely go again when in Boston.

The Chart House I visited the Chart House in Boston Massachusetts after a 6-hour visit to the Museum of Science. It was a welcome break to a long, but fun day. The Chart House has a very welcoming appeal with warm and friendly greeters and a great wait staff. Lear (he told me to call him after I mispronounced his name three times), was a superb and friendly waiter. I first primed my taste buds with an expertly crafted old-fashioned. For dinner I chose the “Chart Your Course" from the menu which gave you a choice of soup or salad, shrimp or prime rib or miso maple glazed salmon, and mini lava cake. I had soup and salad. The soup was lobster bisque and it was amazing. I could detect that there was very little, if any, flour substituted for the cream. It was very hearty and loaded with lobster. The Caesar salad was expertly cut and seasoned with pepper, Parmesan cheese, and Caesar dressing. For the main course I ordered the 10 oz prime rib rare with a glass of Clos Du Bois Cabernet Sauvignon. The prime rib was a thing of beauty as it was tender, juicy, and very tasty. It paired marvelously with the Clos Du Bois. Finally the lava cake was a rich and wonderful ending to a great four-course meal. I consider the Chart House to be moderately priced for a fantastic meal. I recommend stopping in for dinner if you are in Boston, MA.

I could give The Chart House a 5 star on the food alone all day long, but we had a particularly great experience today. My daughter, unfortunately, has celiac disease and it has been a real challenge to find places to accommodate her while also having good food. She loves clam chowder, but has mostly resigned herself to the fact that it's made with flour and only enjoyed as a memory. I had called and spoke with Brian the restaurant manager to ask about gluten free options. I told him about me daughter's plight and he surprisingly told me that the chef could make clam chowder gluten free. When we went to the restaurant today for lunch, they had prepared it just for my daughter. It sounds silly, but I was almost tearful seeing the smile on face and watched her devour a bowl full of the best clam chowder ever. I cannot say enough for this restaurant. The food was superb, but the reason to have a restaurant in the first place was evident in that smile on my daughter's face. Thanks Chart House. Can't wait to come back.

Food was amazing!!! Service was good but it got busy when we were there and it took a while to be attended too. Overall a great location, beautiful building with great History (ask your server about the history of the building) and yummy food!!

My boyfriend and I came here for our 4 year anniversary. My parents have come numerous times and had a great experience, so we thought we would too. It started off with us being sat right next to the kitchen, despite there being no one else on the second floor (except one table on the opposite side.) This didn't bother us at first, but it became uncomfortable when the volume of chatter grew exponentially. At this point we had already gotten our appetizer and drinks, so we would have felt awful asking to move. That being said, the crispy spicy tuna appetizer was one of the best things we've ever eaten. I got the lemon myrtle king salmon and my boyfriend picked lobster stuffed Boston scrod. Both were absolutely incredible, so we had high hopes for dessert. This was not the case. I have worked with pastry for 10 years, so to see it done so poorly was heartbreaking. The crème brûlée trio was a mess. The blood orange was overbaked (curdled), the strawberry was underbaked with the majority of it completely liquid and had a moldy strawberry slice! The classic vanilla was fine. Finally, the biggest disappointment. The hot chocolate lava cake. We were looking forward to it all day. It was so overbaked we could hardly eat it. No molten center and completely dry. It came out relatively quickly, so I'm not sure how it was prepared. Normally we would have said something about it, but since there were so many employees gathered around the bar right next to us, we were too embarrassed to bring it up. All around it was an ok experience. Maybe next time will be better.

Food was amazing! Best lobster mac and cheese that I’ve had. It was a busy time and it took a while to be attended to after seating though. I had to get up and ask if anyone was serving us since we hadn’t even gotten any water after 10~ minutes.

Google
Historical seafood experience by the wharf. Operating out of a charming, old brick building by the wharf, Chart House is a popular spot among tourists for New England seafood fares. While I typically steer away from more tourist-centric seafood spots in Boston, I recently had a chance to visit during the Dine Out week. As one of Landry's restaurants, Chart House delivered what one might expect: solid food, but nothing mind-blowing. For the first course, I opted for the clam chowder. Despite its light consistency, it was generously filled with tender clam meat. I also added the Kim Chee Calamari, and it seemed like some of the dishes here come with a bit of Asian twists. The calamari itself was somewhat thin, and I was slightly disappointed to find the "kimchi" element reduced to just a spicy mayo drizzle. Nevertheless, its light, crispy batter made it a satisfying appetizer. Another fusion dish was the Bronzed Salmon. Topped with tropical salsa and served with mango sticky rice, the salmon initially seemed unappealing. Yet, the mango salsa and mango rice combination wasn’t too overwhelming, and their subtle sweetness complemented the salmon quite well. Compared to other Landry’s locations, Chart House captures a more “Bostonian” dining experience with its historical charm. The food here may not be the best, but it still provides solid seafood choices in a scenic setting. Would think about returning here for dinner, especially with friends who are visiting Boston for the first time.

Google
Fantastic Historic Restaurant right on the Harbour. Really impressive building with so much history! Service was impeccable, super friendly and welcoming staff. The food was promptly served and it was absolutely delicious! I went for fish tacos & Ceasar Salad with Salmon. Both amazing, big portions but I was super hungry. Amazing selection of wine as well, I went for Californian CabSav . Strongly recommended, THANKS TO THE AMAZING STAFF WORKING THERE.

Yelp
Chart house is one those chains that doesn't feel like it is. Chart House Boston is situated on a wharf in the Boston Harbor. It's ins beautiful area with a great view and just a short walk from the end of the wharf with incredible Harbor views. We took an Uber, but parking and accessibility didn't seem the best. The service was incredible. One of the friendliest and most helpful servers we've ever encountered. It was great to learn a little about him and his family. The food was dynamite. We had the crab cake (not pictured), and the corn slaw made the difference. In my opinion it could have used a tad more searing to get a slight crunch. I had the Lobster Stuffed Boston Scrod, and this ROCKED. So delicious and you could tell it was a quality dish from the first bite. I'd high recommend giving this place a try the next time you're looking for date night ideas in downtown Boston!

Yelp
Food was really good. Loved the Kim Chee Calamari. Services was not the best. Our food was brought to the table and we didn't see the waitress or were asked if we needed anything until we were ready for the check. No drink refills. Had to cut my steak with a butter knife because one was not provided and the waitress did not come around for me to ask for one. Really wanted the lava cake but waitress didn't come back around for me to order. We did not have a reservation and they were booked. We were able to get a table at the bar for family of 6 immediately. The ambiance is nice.

Yelp
My husband and I hosted our wedding celebration (150 guests) at Chart House and we are forever grateful to Nicole Marino and her team for putting on the event of our dreams. Nicole was so kind, patient, and helpful; she gave us multiple tours of the space during the planning process, was responsive to all of our questions and flexible with the timeline. She welcomed my family and I so warmly when we arrived to begin florals set-up, and then her team took it from there. I felt like we were in such capable hands. The environment was beautiful at night; beautifully lit with the high ceilings and historical Boston relics. A perfect backdrop for speeches! The staff was genuinely happy for my husband and I; their energy and enthusiasm was one of our favorite things about this place. (They were so helpful to us during the next day clean-up as well!) The food was delicious, and the drinks flowed throughout the night. I was surprised with the prettiest drink in the middle of the event and it made my night! Thank you so much to Nicole and her team for making this night so special for us. We will never forget it!

Yelp
My party of 4 arrived for dinner at around 5:15pm. The hostess notified us that a huge party (that we later found out it was a party of 300!) was about to take place upstairs and we could only be seated outside. That was fine, it was a beautiful night out! After being seated, it took a while for our waiter to take our drink orders. After ordering drinks and food at the same time, we waited for about what felt like 30min for our food and drinks to come. Water never came though. The appetizers were good. The coconut shrimp was the best. As we ate, I noticed that our waiter never returned to check on us. We finished our appetizers and sat there for a while, with drinks empty, waiting for our main courses and with dirty dishes all on the table for another 15-20min. This is when it got laughably bad. The girl who was running the food out came to place down our main courses. She nor anyone else made an effort to clear the dirty plates. Although my party did our best to pre-bus our plates. The food runner clunked down half of the main courses basically on top of the dirty dishes. She even stared at one of the dirty dishes that was in the way of her setting the main course down and gave us a look as if to say, "who's gonna move that?"...which I then did. It took me politely asking her to remove the dishes for the dirty plates to be cleared. Still, some dirty dishes were left throughout the meal (pictured in one of the photos). While the rest of my party enjoyed their dishes, despite arriving lukewarm - I did not enjoy mine. I ordered the sea bass and lobster risotto which arrived cold and dry, the sea bass was the texture of overcooked chicken. When we complained about our dish, the waiter just grabbed the plate and walked off without saying a word. In addition, me and another party member sat for almost the entire meal with our drinks empty. Two thirds of the way through the meal our waiter quickly practically ran by our table, mumbled "all good?", and ran off before any of us could answer. When we finally got his attention to order drink refills, the refills took another 10 min and my refill in particular did not come until the end of the meal. Throughout our experience it was very apparent that tables around us were also annoyed and/or feeling the same way we did. We heard the table next to us complaining it was taking over an hour for their food to arrive. It was also apparent how much the wait staff was running around. I give them some grace knowing there was a huge party going on upstairs they probably were also tending too. But, the restaurant should have better prepared and either had more staff available or closed down outside seating! Lastly, I am giving 1 star because the coconut shrimp was delicious and upon complaining about my sea bass, the restaurant removed the charge - so those were positives. All in all, the service was so comically bad that I cannot recommend this establishment.

Yelp
Our server Gisela was great. Attentive, fun and helpful even though it was a busy sunny Saturday. We ordered apps and a drink which was delicious. Gave us good recommendations on not overspending by ordering a flight and fixed a delicious Mojito. Impressive being on the Pier the drink was reasonably priced compared to double at Hook + Line the night before. The ambiance was adorable (we dined indoors) and loved the history and the food - all of it was yummy! Thank you for a very pleasant experience. David Coffin (sp) from the Harbour Cruise recommend the place. Were foodies and from NY Metro so we appreciate and expect quality. Well Done!

Yelp
So happy to see this resturant still around. That in itself was a true delight. So many wonderful experiences since the mid-1980's with the Chart House family. Service stood out! The prime rib a true treat. A great day to remind me of our journey.

Kathy M.

Yelp
Birthday dinner for my husband, prime rib was excellent, we ordered the large cut, lobster bisque soup was great too!! Love historic building on the water.

Molly K.

Yelp
This was my first visit to Chart House. The food was good. The service was fantastic! Our waiter, Daniel, told us halfway through the meal that it was his first night. I had no idea. He was extremely kind and gracious!

Shemesh Y.

Yelp
This is my second time here, and a great positive surprise. While the waiter took forever to bring a glass of wine, or the additional appetizers that we ordered, the food itself was much better than expected. We had: - baked brie, fried calamari, shrimp/ avocado/ mango were all very good starters. Beet ravioli was small and boring. - King salmon - cooked JUST right, very good and fresh meat, and delicious overall. - Scallops&shrimps - also very tasty one, on the smaller side though. - vegetarian pasta. This was a flop. Not only it was THE ONLY vegetarian main course, but also it was awful: slimy, and with no flavor at all.

Yelp
Had a wonderful dining experience during dine out week. I ordered the strawberry salad, salmon, and the cheesecake and sampled the cream pie, which was absolutely divine. My pomegranate martinis were so good. That was pretty happy by the second one. We had a very sweet server named Zoe, who gave us history lesson on the chart house to find out there was a statue of the number two pencil eagle. I surprised to see how nobody took advantage of the $27 lunch menu, which was a shame because this was top-notch five star experience. Even though it's not necessarily tourist season, but anyone who reads this review should take advantage of the both the lunch and dinner menu, you won't be disappointed.

Marsha L.

Yelp
On our recent trip to Boston we had lunch there. The server, Derrick, had a toothpick stuck in the side of his mouth the entire time he waited on us. We were immediately turned off by this I had the fish tacos, which were over cooked, my husband had the burger, which he enjoyed. But we could not get over the tooth pick!! Would not go Back, which is a shame as we used it eat at Chart House in Fort Lauderdale when it was located here.

Christine Papolio R.

Yelp
Had lunch today. Great bartender. Ordered espresso martinis. Weak espresso. Lobster roll was all fin meat, room temp and flavorless. French fries cold. Undercooked. Taking tums as I write this. Not worth it.

Tuan T.

Yelp
Come here for the best prime rib in MA. Came for lunch with the wife. Tristen took great care of us. Restaurant is managed by Brian whom in my opinion is one of the most competent GMs in hospitality in boston. My experience was 5 stars overall.

Yelp
Upon our first night in Boston, Beau and I, breezed over here..It was evening, and many scenic waterfronts were passed, before arriving here. Our destination, seemed a dream: an old and elegant brick building, situated beside the water! We wandered near the water, sauntering on our seaside stroll. But before long, we pulled ourselves away, to be on time, for our dinner reservations.. We thus hurried, to the historic restaurant, stately situated, on the wharf. Its interior, was dark, with dim lighting, illuminating its brick walls. Once checked in, we were guided up a spiraling staircase of wrought iron. Then, once seated, at a table for two, we took in, the sophisticated settings... Brick walls abounded, and the very tall, and somewhat imposing, wrought iron staircase, took center stage. Soon, a friendly server followed, making recommendations, and taking our seafood order... Out came, our calamari, which was rather tough, though we said nothing. However, the table next to us, expressed this same sentiment, and their unsavory calamari, was replaced, with a softer batch! Nonetheless, our plentiful plates of, shrimp and lobster, looked and tasted beautiful! Enough to make any mermaid, positively happy!! Yes, all was going beautifully, till our server, spilled butter, on Beau's shirt!! In frustration,, she uttered a petty profanity, then apologized profusely, for her blunder! It was an accident, of course, and these things happen, even in upscale establishments! In compensation, Beau's dessert, was not added, to the bill. All in all: it was a lovely evening, albeit, the small mishap! Especially lovely, was the beautiful brick building, situated beside the bay! A befitting spot, for seafood and seaside lovers! Surely, we will return to this place, for an elegant evening, one day!!

Yelp
Chart House was our final stop on our 6-day Boston trip and it was by far one of the best meals of the trip. The history of the building, the stories from the server, and the food...all the food... it was all amazing. Clam Chowder was on point! Delish. Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes- out of this world! Perfectly cooked medium - juicy, seasoned, and could cut it with a fork. Seared Citrus King Salmon - my colleague is still raving about this dish! It was presented artfully with quinoa and greens. As we were preparing to head to the airport, we decided to take in one (or two) craft cocktails before catching our uber. The Bourbon & Chocolate was our choice. And one was simply not enough. This drink has haunted me for months. It was by far one of the best drink experiences. Soft, smooth, chocolate and cherry notes. Well balanced. I've spent a full month hunting down the recipe so I can make it at home and have made it at every holiday gathering, party, and game night. My favorite local venue listened to me rave for so long that they made their own version of bourbon and chocolate (good but not the same) and named it after us on their menu. My chart house experience will stay with me and I can't wait to take my spouse to Boston for this experience.

Mary R.

Yelp
Amazing dining experience-food was excellent and our waiter Tristan was fantastic!!!! Highly recommend!!!

Daniel M.

Yelp
Absolutely gorgeous from top to bottom. The searing and waiting staff went above and beyond. If you want to enjoy a delicious meal with no short comings or draw backs do yourself a favor and come to Chart house. You won't regret it. I know my wife and I didn't.

Vanesa H.

Yelp
Where to begin: Was sat down at reservation time, but it took 25 minutes for the server to return to order our food and drinks. The ceasar salad was good. The lobster bisuqe was too sweet and luke warm. Wrong temp of prime rib. And half of it was solid fat ( pic below) . Ordered the coconut shrimp, which had a weird flavor and dried out, which tasted like rubber. The sauces were set down but not explained what they were and were mixed in with each other. The server seemed not to care and acknowledged that they were slow.

Chris J.

Yelp
Crab cakes and lobster were very good. Maybe not the best seafood I ever had, but the view and location were great.

John B.

Yelp
Good, the steak was just ok. Service was amazing. But the desert. Oh. My. God. I don't even like cake but the Boston cream cake was some of the best cake and even dessert I have ever had. Definitely will be back.

Maidik I.

Yelp
Great atmosphere! Steve greeted me at the door, Milan & David were attentive behind the bar. Great place, great staff. 5 stars!

Heidi S.

Yelp
Food, drinks, and service were fantastic! Atmosphere was a bonus! Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Absolutely the best !!! The King crab legs are off the chart. The salmon is amazing . Jennifer and Joseph were so nice. I highly recommend this establishment while in Boston.

Yelp
I came here for dinner during a recent weekend trip in Boston. Surprisingly, there wasn't a long wait despite how busy they appeared. To start, my table shared the Heirloom Bruschetta Board - delicious - and I split the mojito flight with my husband. The mojitos weren't strong, and they tasted like freeze pops. For my entree, I ordered the Boston Cod (baked and breaded) which came with roasted veggies, and I added a side of garlic mashed potatoes. I didn't really care for the veggies, the cod simply had bread crumbs on top (I wish it was more crunchy) and the mashed potatoes were my favorite part of the whole meal - buttery and garlicky perfection. Overall, I was happy with my visit and would return during another trip.

David Y.

Yelp
Was here for a cozy dinner . That's what we got. Great holiday ambiance. My lobster and shrimp carbons a was perfect. They may have training some one new on wait staff but the whole team took care of us. We also got a table for two in front of tree so bonus. Was wanting to try one of their smokey specialty drink. But I'm not a rum or gin drinker so unfortunately had to pass. But the granacha wine was spot on.

Kathy V.

Yelp
My husband and I had dinner at the Chart House last night. We started with a delicious crab cake each. I had a perfectly cooked filet. My husband had a NY strip with coconut shrimp. Food was hot and delicious. The service was excellent. The restaurant itself is so cool. The lighting, views of ships passing all added to the beauty of this restaurant. We will be returning.

Yelp
Haven't been to this location in many years but have enjoyed Chart House in other locations. As always, great location and sites when sitting outside. While waiting for a third member of our party, we wanted to start with apps and a cocktail. Waited a more than a reasonable time for a server. Ultimately it was the bartender who came from inside the restaurant to help out (short staffed) and took our drink order (drinks were very good). We asked also for water. Waited a while. No water. We asked another server in the area and he offered to bring us some but still none came. Asked a hostess passing our table and she wanted us to describe the first staff person (what did she look like) and then wanted us to describe the second person. How about you simply exercise good customer service and offer to bring it to us? Finally got our water from a fourth person. He dropped them at our table and walked off, as if we'd bothered them with such a request. We ordered our apps (also very good). Then it came time to order dinner and one of the orders was for salmon and shrimp. The server said they "were all out". Detailed that they'd had a busy service last night it was the one thing they were out of. So we ordered something else. With tables close to each other, we saw a couple who came in after us get served the salmon dish they were supposedly out of! Seriously? Is this because we troubled you more than once for our water? It certainly seemed like that!! Food is worthy of 4 stars. Price of drinks is reasonable. Dinners are overpriced. While we fully understand staffing issues, that's no excuse for poor service (slow, yes but should still be customer centric). Telling us falsely you were out of something is just inexplicable. Thus dropping to 3 stars.

Paul M.

Yelp
My partner and I had a small waiting issue that the manager quickly noticed and corrected. He included a round of free drinks in the apology. Manuela our server was more than accommodating for the rest of the evening. The crab cakes and and ahi tuna apps were delicious as was the Mahi Mahi. 5 stars and A+ to the Chart House!

Adrienne D.

Yelp
We went to the church house in Boston. Not only was the location. Epic because it was historical. But the food as usual was fantastic. We got the lobster bisque as well as their famous clam chowder. Salmon was excellent. Shrimp cocktail fantastic. Most of the wait staff is not American lol. so their "style" is always a little different. But they were still lovely. Prime rib, top notch. And in the fall they had a Bree and seek and croute that was absolutely to live for.

Victor C.

Yelp
Place was nice clam chowder was on point . Had a Lobster roll one of the best I had in a while . Place was nice service was great.

Deb M.

Yelp
Just came home from 3 course price fixed Christmas dinner that was $79. Food was very mediocre - surf and turf (filet and shrimp) was just ok - not nearly what I would expect for a steak house. Although the filet was cooked perfectly, it was thin, very salty, and tasted like it was fried on the stove. The dessert was not a lava cake but rather a stale brownie with some chocolate sauce and ice cream. It was not a hot gooey cake. Needless to say, I took a taste and left the rest. I did mention the dissatisfaction with the lava cake to the server but she said it was made correctly. Service was fair - rushed, which is understandable as they wanted to move folks along but still for the price it would have been nice to relax a bit. Steak knife was provided halfway through the meal. I know they were busy but expected more when spending $120 pp. Same dinner being offered NYE, but I will be going elsewhere.

Brian B.

Yelp
We went to celebrate my daughters graduation as well as Mothers Day. Our server Zoe was amazing, one of the best servers I have ever had. With the craziness of the holiday she always met us with a smile and insured we had what we needed without having to wait. The food was outstanding, cooked just how we liked it.

Jim D.

Yelp
The restaurant was beautiful. The service was excellent. The restaurant was busy. The food was fantastic. I got the prime rib which was delicious and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes, spinach, and mushrooms were excellent. I would highly recommend going here.

Annette M.

Yelp
Whenever we visit Boston, our favorite place to eat is at the historic Chart House on Long Wharf. We usually opt for the cozy bar area with high top tables and bar seating. This was our first stop this past Tuesday evening upon arrival. Eating at the bar, we lucked out with Julianna as the lead bartender. We loved watching this petite, fierce, organized, and fun professional bar manager seamlessly juggle the multi-tasks of running a busy bar in a popular restaurant. Julianna is on par with the best project managers I have ever workers with! She is a delight!

Andy L.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place!! Zoe took care of us way above and beyond!! She's the best of the best. Go and ask for Zoe!!! And of course the food is always great. We've been going to Chart House for years and are Landry Members too.

Margaret C.

Yelp
Eleven coworkers/friends enjoyed lunch today at the Chart House. The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. Btw, the calamari appetizer is out of this world! When we asked our waitstaff Manuela about the history of the beautiful building, we learned it has a very rich and storied background going back hundreds of years. Manuela also agreed to take a photo of our crew. And she made us look good! We will be returning when given the first opportunity.

Kevino C.

Yelp
What an amazing experience we had here. We came here for Dine Out Boston on the first day it started and our first choice could not have gone any better! Staff were extremely nice and the atmosphere was great; however, song choices were mid. For dine out, lunch is $28 and dinner is $46 so a little on the pricey side but considering how much is given, I would say it is absolutely worth it. For lunch, you have three courses: a starter, main dish, and dessert. Let's start with the starters: New England Clam Chowder: a classic and well made. Each bite had tons of flavor and the oyster crackers added a nice crunch-texture to it. Perfect! The other option for starters was a caesar salad but we thought it would have been too simple so we chose not to get it. Next are the main courses. Baja Salmon: the mango sticky rice was absolutely delicious! It was flavorful with every bite and the hints of sweetness went perfectly with the avocado corn salad and salmon. Although the salmon started off a little dry, the salad really helped with the flavor and added a unique texture. Prime Rib French Dip: this was our absolute favorite. The prime rib was so tasty and the french dip added an additional taste that enhanced the already delicious flavor. Fries were thin and crispy. Next are the dessert. New York Style Cheesecake: smooth and rich but a little warm for my liking. Still a delicious, lightly sweet dessert and a great ending to our lunch. Boston Cream Pie: both light in texture but rich in flavor. What more could you ask of a boston cream pie. An ultimate classic treat made perfectly. Overall, a great experience and a great choice for dine out. $28 for a three-course lunch is great pricing. The view is also great. Absolutely recommend!

Yelp
For a place that considers themselves a "steak house" I didn't even get to eat steak. After ordering a NY Strip the first time it was overcooked. After sending back my order and receiving it for a second time I cut it open to find it fully raw to the point where it's color was still blue. I already thought the second steak was extremely raw, but to my surprise, the third steak was even more raw with a poor sear. While the food and it's value was exceedingly underwhelming, at least I wasn't charged for it, and instead received the grilled salmon as compensation. Luckily the service and the rest of the food took this review from 2 to 3 stars.

Jeanette N.

Yelp
We sat outside after coming back to Long Wharf from Salem. It was pretty busy but they got us in pretty quickly. The front desk was a bit disorganized, but the food was outstanding, so it made up for it. I had the seafood carbonara, which was packed with seafood and the sauce was light (not pasty like some restaurants), and flavorful. We also ordered the NY Strip. My husband said it was perfectly prepared, flavorful and spot in. One of the best in his experience (which is pretty long ). He also loved the garlic mashed potatoes. Our server was polite, but not hovering and refilled our drinks promptly. We can't wait to go back when we are in Boston.

Yelp
Boston Harbor goodness! Such a cute spot right on the harbor, and very savory food and drinks were quite lovely. Ambiance --We we're unable to get a seat upstairs where the views are just lovely but we had a high table by the bar. Darklit vibe made for a calm, intimate atmosphere Food --We ordered a Surf & Turf (Filet Minon & Lobster) combo & Paneed Chicken both with mash potatoes. I personally am allergic to shellfish so I can't speak personally to the Lobster, but my friend did tell me he absolutely loved it, as well as the Filet Minon. The Paneed Chicken was a great amount of savory, mixed with lime juices and the Mash, it was an excellent combo! --For appetizer we ordered Spinach and Artichoke dip. Not my favorite SpinArt dip I've had but still delicious and enjoyable. Drinks --Ordered a "Rose'loma". I recommend if you want something sweet but not too sweet :) Overall Lovely experience, I would come back. This spot is a bit on the pricey side, (Paneed Chicken was about $27) but if you're looking for a little more quality, I would check it out!

Yelp
Excellent service and food in a unique 200+ year old building. Joseph knew the menu well and had lots of information on the offerings. I had the king salmon dish and it was excellently prepared. This is a more expensive restaurant.

Yelp
Manuela, our server, was awesome. Her pleasant personality and warmth made our visit special. The food was very good and tasty. We will return.

Yelp
I had a great lunch here today and have been here a few times for drinks as well. The waitstaff is great (shoutout to Manuela) and the bar is really cozy. Nice easy walk to many destinations before or after if you're new to the city!

Yelp
Ambience was great. Pleasant host/hostess. Nice variety on menu. Server was very Pleasant. Strange that only one person ordered in a party of three. And before we ordered they brought out his salad!! Also the meal was fine. Prime rib and stuffed sole. But the server didn't tell us it came with asparagus and we ordered a side. Not needed. And server also seemed rushed. Asked if we wanted coffee after we were almost done with the dessert! Timing was off. But nice place.

Yelp
Food was excellent, and the service was even better. What a cool and rustic place to eat at after touching down in Boston. Zoe was excellent and super friendly!

Yelp
Tourist trap. Will never go back. We reserved a table for 1:30 and got our mediocre meal at 3:00. Ridiculous experience from beginning to end. Even after an unreasonably long wait, the orders were not correct. Drinks were missing, sides were wrong, everything but the bill was exceedingly slow to arrive. Sour milk was brought out. They're 100% skating by on the fact that they are located in a tourist spot. Server offered to comp drinks and dessert to make up for things, but honestly, our bill for a big table was still steep and not in any way worth it. Host stand was rude and unsympathetic. Take your money elsewhere!

Yelp
My wife and I were there April 10th for a High Point University event. We had a great time and the staff were exceptional! Zoe, Miruna, David and Rick did an amazing job taking care of the guests. The food was delicious and the seafood display was impressive. Thanks to the Chart House crew for a great evening. We had the pleasure of meeting other HPU families as well.

Yelp
We had a wonderful time at the Chart House on Sunday. Zoe, Manjuela, and Miruna all helped make my daughter's bridal shower really special. The loft was the perfect space, the food was delicious, and all the staff we met were incredibly kind and helpful. Thanks again!

Yelp
Been meaning to review this since I went in november, and wow! The food was amazing and so was the mojito flight my boyfriend and I shared! For just $30 (i cant remember exactly), we got 6 mojito drinks each (2 servings in each cup with different flavored syrups), and then an amazing dinner for decent price as well. I ordered the shrimp and scallops which was absolutely delicious!! If I am in boston again I will definitely be back here.
