Very nice castle, and despite not being one of the more famous and spectacular Loire Valley Châteaux, this smaller castle is a great choice if you want to avoid big crowds or spending a full day on one site. Especially the interiors showing the castle's different uses throughout the years, are beautifully done and definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful castle. Restaured well. Wood of the roof repaired too, in good condition. Nice to walk around in the different chambers. Entrance price is 8 Euro per person. Price worth, we can advise this trip.

Nice quaint chateau, loved that they had a video explaining about the history of the castle too, making English speaking goers like us be able to appreciate the place a lot more. Their explanations around also had many languages which was helpful.

It's what you would image a castle should look like, including a moat. The sun was shining and making for good photos today. The inside had many beautiful and interesting slights to see. There were many stairs to climb. So, if you have trouble walking up pie stairs, you might need to enjoy some of it inside and take pleasure in how beautiful it is on the outside. There were plenty of tapestries, furniture and paintings to view. The bedrooms were wonderful. When you go upstairs you can see how they constructed the roof. All and all it was a great time. I even ran out of charge to take more photos of the last rooms I visited. Also, the outside had some stunning sites for picture taking!

A really nice castle to visit! It's not huge as compare with some of the castle we visited in Paris, yet the castle is well maintained and provide you with enough inside and history of the place. The castle is not crowded at all, which gave you lots of time and space to slowly read through and learn more about the castle and it's history. I personally recommend you to visit the castle.

Wow! What a gorgeous castle. Did not go inside as I was there on a day when the chateau was closed. Walking around the grounds during the day and night provides stunning views of the chateau. Sully sur Loire is a charming little town.

This castle is a must see if you want to see some renovated and accessible roof structures. It was an incredible sight. Also some renovated rooms which looked stunning, the castle is really a small wonder with very little tourist. The only negative about the castle is the lack of beautiful gardens which this castle really deserves.

Incredible place! Take the entire tour. My favorite was the stairwell up to the rooftop. You walk along the side of the chateau at the top with cracks in wood next to you showing the moat below. It kind of freaked my mother out as we climbed the spiral stairs. A sign warned us it would be about 60 steps. But with how tight the stair well is and how much it spirals it may not be the favorite place for someone who can get claustrophobic and have panic attacks. 😳 I loved it though. The art and time period furnishings were beautiful. Be sure to walk across the bridge and walk under The Cypress trees that General Lafayette brought back from The USA. A beautiful place to visit. I would most definitely go back.
