I brought my puppy here for the first time last week and he absolutely loved it. very nice and the hostess was beyond helpful and overall just a bundle of joy. She always checked in to make sure I was ok always made sure that my dog had water. Always asked if I needed anything else. informed me of their specials if you book a reservation, you get a free mimosa. She also gave me a free chai latte, which was delicious. My dog really enjoyed his peanut butter pancakes. with blueberries and whip cream, and I had the butterscotch pancakes with fruit as well and syrup and it’s just a really nice place to hang out with your dogs. There’s the brunch area where you eat with your dog and then there’s another area that allows dogs inside kind of like a mini indoor dog play pen area. Overall 10/10 i highly recommend and would definitely go back again with friends too!

An exceptional place to bring your dog, and socialize with great people (even if you don't have a dog). This is THE best dog cafe in NYC. For the past few months, me and my 6 month old puppy, Zion, love coming here from the UES, it is a quick, joyful, ferry ride and walk to be cafe! The staff is attentive, friendly and helpful and explain the different areas to order and eat, the off leash area, and then the leash cafe/restaurant area. I really like this place since it is relaxdd and casual, but most of all, all dog owners here are attentive, kind and responsible to maintain the upbeat and fun atmosphere! I like the food, the breakfast burrito is my favorite! They have vegan and non vegan sandwiches, etc. and also sell wine and beer. They have plenty of yummy dog cute food, and clothes too. Lots of events as well. Enjoy your time here, support your local shop and community! We're excited to come back every time!

Sandwich is really good and very reasonable priced. Good selection of dog food. My dog loves pupper cup ice cream here.

First time here and we were super excited. We really wanted to like this place. After checking in for our 2pm reservation and being seated, we weren’t given menus or greeted. I got up and got my own menus and poured my own water. After waiting 45 minutes for someone to take our order, we got up and asked an employee whether someone was going to help us or whether we needed to order at a counter, they said someone would help us. After another 15 minutes, an Employee came to help other tables and we waved her down. We were finally able to place our order. Another table came and sat down and after waiting for so long they just up and walked out. We were going to do the same but since we placed our order, we tried to wait it out. After another 40 minutes our food came out and half of it was given to another table who put their hands on the food. We hurried and ate the food that hadn’t been touched. We asked for our check, and at that point that was the quickest any one helped us. We paid and left. Would not travel to visit this place again unfortunately. We wanted to like it but service was so bad, I would not visit again for brunch, maybe coffee only if we were in the area.

Amazing dog cafe! Literally a cornerstone of our community, Natasa and her lovely team have built a haven for pups, coffee drinkers, brunch lovers, remote workers and event throwers! Can't imagine this neighborhood without Chateau :-) perfect for a daily latte trip or a venture in from the city, it's right next to the ferry!

Cute spot for a chill brunch with your dog. Our pup had raw turkey neck and we got the tofu scramble and gruyere croissant. All food was delicious - service was a little slow but we were not bothered since we were just having a quiet chill Sunday. Tons of cute dog items and a play space available for dogs to meet and play together. Our pup has a blast will definitely come again !

What a great place! Came across Château le Woof after a visit to Noguchi Museum and Socrates Sculpture Park. It's a serene refuge welcoming for both people and their canine companions! (Note - I don't have a dogs, but am a big fan!) The café side serves gourmet eats, sweet and savory, including vegan options, assorted beverages, and wine. I chose a tasty café au lait (with oat milk) and a chocolate chip muffin. They have a much wider selection than that with breads and other baked goods supplied by Balthazar. Enjoyed relaxing with the sun coming through the glass garage door windows. Can't speak about how Château le Woof works for dogs, but given the one chilling with its person at another café table I think it's two thumbs up along with two paws up!

Château le Woof: the only place where you're quite literally greeted with two doors and the ultimate life choice -- dogs or caffeine? My friends and I came to hang out and game but really wanted to see some dogs. Spoiler alert: we did see a few, but it wasn't exactly a canine parade since it was snowing. Still, dogs are dogs, and that's always a win. * Matcha Latte (S): This latte walked the perfect line -- not too sweet, not bitter. Frothy, warm, and a solid hug in a cup. It's the kind of matcha you sip and feel like you've made at least one good life choice that day. 4/5. * Almond Croissant Not too sweet, but the filling? Not a lot going on inside, like a croissant that decided to be mysterious but didn't quite pull it off. Still tasty, though! 3.5/5. Overall, Chateau Le Woof is spacious, pet-friendly, and a pretty cool spot to grab a bite, sip a drink, and maybe catch a glimpse of a furry friend. 4 out of 5.

Great place for large dog friendly events. We are a Boston terrier meetup group and have hosted 4-5 events at chateau Le woof. Natassa and her team as always the nicest and the staff is wonderful. The coffee and drinks are always great as well. For dog friendly events in New York City/ chateau Le woof is an amazing option. It is also accessible via the ferry for folks coming from different places.

20 out of 10!!! I had my pups 10th birthday party here today. They have an open space in the back and it's huge!!! If you rent the space for 3 hours it's $250 if you order food from them as well. I got their Bark'N Brunch which is $30 per person and their Premium Coffee Bar which was around $10 per person and it includes all the lattes and coffee options they have. Prices may change depending on when you are booking though, but it is totally worth it!!! Tax and Gratuity is also charged when you make the booking. I got there early to decorate and it was such a cute event. Shoutout to the staff and all the employees because they were SOOO attentive. They def did not skimp out, we had two rounds of food and they kept coming back to ask us if we wanted more coffee / drinks. The staffs were so friendly thank you guys sooo much! My friends and all the pups really enjoyed their time as well. Highly recommend this spot if anyone wants to host a birthday party for their pup or just any event! My friend is def doing her dog's bday party here next year. Thank you again, such a wonderful and phenomenal time!

Ordered: Small Iced Latte (~$6): with lavender (75¢) & oat milk (+$1) Aya's take: Awesome local cafe right across from the park and views of the water! Super dog-friendly and plenty of outdoor seating which was lovely on a nice summer day. The Iced Lavender Oat Latte ran me almost ~$8 which is definitely on the higher end for a drink but it was well made, the lavender was prominent in every sip, and it was super creamy and smooth. It's my go-to drink to start the day with. Wonderful try overall!

Such a great concept, beautifully venue and location. The spot is huge, they have a cafe, private room, store, grooming, & outdoor seating. We booked the private area for a doggy birthday, the dogs had lots of space to run around while the dog moms brunched. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great menu for all.

Cute decor and fabulous concept. I have been here several times. Cute dog treats and they have gluten free and vegan treats for humans from sensible edibles. One side is a dog cafe and the other is for humans but dogs are welcome on both sides. This is a great addition to the community. 3 star rating for just ok because the person behind me was served before me and the apple cider drink I ordered was warm, not hot and basically and basically just from a store bought gallon bottle warmed up. For $13.50 I was disappointed and recommend a cinnamon stick or marshmallow fluff to make it worth the high price tag. I hope to come here in the future and try something else.

Really really cool spot. It's very close to the Astoria ferry stop, so highly recommend taking that over the subway (which I think is 15+ minute walk over). We made a brunch reservation, which included a free mimosa for everyone in our party (except for our dog). It is such a welcoming atmosphere here, really run by folks who are dog lovers. We opted to sit in the side where dogs had to be on leash. There was a smaller, enclosed section (though still pretty big) where dogs could be off leash and sit with their parents as they eat. Food is pretty good - the pancakes were enjoyable and the burrito was super tasty and filling. They also have entrees for dogs, at almost the same price as human food. It should be a nice treat for your dog. In the afternoon, there was also a live jazz trio playing which was really cute. We came back after brunch just to listen to them and grab a coffee, which I would recommend because they have specialty coffee (lighter roasts, more complex and fruity favors) alongside more traditional coffee.

Such a cute cafe! One side is for grooming and a little pup store, selling doggy things & treats. Other side is the cafe , got the chorizo breakfast burrito , so good, the rice was different. Staff were very friendly and felt like such a welcoming atmosphere!

It's a cafe...it's a bar...is a coffee shop...it's a pet shop...it's a groomer...it's dog friendly...there's live music... You get the point. Super cute, unique spot. Good coffee and food. Loved bringing my puppy there!

Would have given more stars. Coffee was good. But the ever single can of beer in their fridge was expired. Told the cashier and they said, "it should still be good since it's packaged." I asked if I should put it back. They said please. If every can of beer is expired, I wonder what else is expired in their kitchen. It's sad since I did enjoy my coffee. Also it smelt like dog poop really really bad right outside.

I was intrigued when someone took me here. It is cafe and pet store in one. We went here after walking around Socrates Sculpture Park. The cashier was very friendly. She asked us what made us come around this area. I love how she made my iced matcha latte. It wasn't bitter nor was it strong. I recommend coming here and sitting outside while you enjoy their delicious drinks and baked goods. You won't regret it.

Super fun place. I don't know who likes it more, me or the doggy! The live music from time to time is a nice bonus.

I would love to give high rating but the employees really ruined it. The employees just stare at you and don't ask if you need help. Not ever friendly or helpful. Our server seems like she was scared and very shy. Did not talk loud, could not hear anything she said, it was like she was whispering. For a first visitor, the layout was little confusing. Once we understand the layout, it was very nice. The concept is great that you can eat with your dog. They have two sections, one for off leash dogs and another section for dogs on leash. Both sections are very nice. The dog is ok. I just wish they would cut the dog food into little pieces for us. I would recommend and I would be back. They just need to work on their employees, there was one male employee who was super nice, thank god we meet him. She showed us around and was super helpful.

This a pawsome place for dogs and their pawrents to visit. The cafe/dog market has separate entrances for dogs side and human side. They have a good selection of beers, coffees, lattes, etc. And of course, we couldn't leave without some dog treats. Will definitely go back again to try their brunch next time.

***Cute cafe spot, Across the street - Dog Friendly Park, Clean*** It was quite busy when we came here. We happen to find outdoor seating, but there is also plenty of indoor seating, and a enclosed dog area. The snacks for the dogs are affordable and I would definitely come back. Across the street is a dog friendly park but keep in mind that your dog has to be leashed.

One of the best experiences I've had in New York City. Everyone is so kind and friendly, pups included, and it's an open air space which is great for accessibility and living through the pandemic as someone who's high risk. There was a live jazz band, a puddle of pugs, and incredible coffee and food. Absolutely a hidden gem that deserves all the shout outs. I can't wait to go back!

This is the best place to buy special dog treats. They have a variety of birthday biscuits and all sorts of snacks, including dog ice cream! They also sell dog toys and there's a large space set aside as an indoor play area to just hang out. I bought a couple birthday biscuits for my dog which she absolutely loved. Next door there's a legit café with the two areas separated by a large glass window. The staff were all super friendly and it all made for a great experience. I'll definitely be coming back here with my dog to get a coffee, pick up more treats, and just hang out with other dogs and owners in a Parisian-themed atmosphere.

Quaint dog themed coffee shop off of Vernon Blvd that welcomes the four-legged critters! Very much a hipster vibe with a separate space for those who wish to have their dogs with them (off-leash!). We ordered Matcha and coffee Americano and they were packaged in to go cups. They also had sandwich and bakery options for a more filling snack. Wine and beer as well! The service was quick even though it was decently busy.

Friendliest crew. Even at 6am! Great coffee and Balthazaar baked goods. And no where makes bringing your dog a special, fun place to be... and their brunch's on weekends are wonderful. My favorite is their french toast. My dogs favorite is the pumpkin pancake... Yes, I'm the crazy dog mom that splurges (on very special occassions) brunch for my furry baby!

Horrible customer service. Only friendly to regular customers. Food was okay but overpriced.

I love this place & so does my puppy!! At one end is the cafe with some chairs & tables to sit at & the other end is the puppy area where all the puppies gather along to play together! It's super convenient when it's colder outside & I don't trust dog parks too much after some inconveniences I've had! The baked desserts are delish, the coffee is great & the baristas are always super nice! Even if you don't have a puppy, it's still a super cute cafe to check out (& you can have a boost of serotonin once you see all the puppies!! Haha)

Love this place! Good food AND you can have your doggies play around. Weekend brunch officially starts at 11am unless the chef arrives late. That was kind of annoying. If brunch starts at 11, he should be ready in the kitchen by 10:45 in my opinion. But whatevs. (This is why i took off one star)

Astoria's staple and gem! I've visited this spot so many times for fun, for bday parties and pop-ups! They host so many fun things it's hard to stay away. They've got a great cafe on the human side (with some great drinks, might I add) and then of course the best side where all the pups can run free and play. They've got amazing treats, clothes and accessories for sale. It's a must-go!

Good place to take your dog and coffee prices are reasonable for nyc these days. Would recommend the cappuccino or another espresso drink. Staff is generally nice and helpful as well. The one thing to watch out for are the prices of non-coffee items like cookies, brownies and especially the beer cans in the fridge. Prices aren't marked on many things and over the past year they've increased them significantly. Last time a 16oz fifth hammer beer was $12, which is ridiculous and you don't know that until you get to the register. They were $9 over a year ago (still too high for Astoria) so not worth it anymore.

Cute spot and easy to access from Socrates park. They helped sponsor the Halloween puppy costume contest this weekend at Socrates as well, so great to see them contributing to the community. I don't have a puppy but I have a toddler and the bakes goods there (a mix of different brands) were toddler approved and also had vegan/no dairy options. That said, pricey but given where they are and how they work with the community worth it.

Super cute cafe in Queens!! Good coffee, good vibes, and cute dogs -- you can't really ask for more. The cafe is split into two adjacent areas: a traditional cafe area on the left with seating and where you can place your order with a barista, and a dog play area on the right. I came around 4pm on a Wednesday and there was no line. The barista was super friendly and showed me some of the latte art he was drawing to practice for an upcoming coffee competition. Pros: - Smooth lattes and friendly staff - Quiet so good for working - Cute dogs Cons: - Can be a bit pricey compared to other cafes in the area

After reading some of the reviews, definitely agree with what people are saying here. Have biked past this place a few times on the way to Costco and during nice weather and it always seems like people are outside having a nice time. Came here with my dog for his birthday after seeing that they had an ice cream cake and other cool dog treats. We also saw that they had a brunch deal where you can get "pupcakes" and mimosas and brunch food for humans. Tried to reach out multiple ways to the staff including their birthday form on their website and never got a response back. Decided to just take a chance and go in person. While everyone was friendly, it definitely was a weird experience. I feel like it looked a bit run down and no one was outside. We couldn't figure out where to go in but found the entrance to the cafe and they directed us next door to the indoor dog park. The dog "park" was just maybe a 150 square foot enclosed area that the dogs could be off leash. Everyone was nice, but this was a bit disappointing based on some of the reviews here. We also got some beers, which were craft beers, but just from a can and they were $10 each. That was a bit shocking. They also didn't seem to offer any brunch food so that was not the best either. The dog ice cream cake was too big for just our dog so we ended up not getting that either. Overall, definitely a good concept with nice enough staff, but between the lack of communication, the small space and the prices, I feel like you might as well just buy some beers from the grocery store, and bring it to the gantry and go to the dog park there, since you are just getting canned beers here also.

This pet cafe paradise has everything from doggy ice cream to grooming and doggy birthday party service. There is also a shed with outdoor seating. The coffee is decent. What more could you ask?

As a customer without a dog, I frequently come by for their drinks which I must say are refreshing! Chateau le Woof is both a dog friendly shop for dogs and their humans while also a cafe for humans paying with cash or card. Very versatile. I've never been to a dog cafe but this one works wonders for those who don't have one. Located right across of Socrates Sculpture Park in Astoria, le Woof is split into two sections as well as a few chairs and table for outdoor seating during summer time. For those staying around the area, it is so convenient and hospitable for everyone (without dog allergies and whatnot). With its cute wooden interior, great view, and dog vibes this dog cafe also serves brunch and other goodies found in any cafe and some. Although I haven't tried any edible foods, their secret menu of tea flavors is always my go-to. I usually end up ordering a large ice tea of some sort of the month totally satisfied after a long run along Astoria's coastline. If you can't find their physical new drinks menu, feel free to ask behind the counter. They sometimes know what's new. Their latest sunset vibes with lemonade is a total tropical tea paradise. They also use paper straws. If only they can somehow eliminate their plastic cups to totally ditch plastic! Accepts card and cash. Bathroom available. Good for working Bon appetit!

A doggy day care center + coffee shop They serve excellent coffee from Le Colombe and Balthazar pastries. They also have restrooms for clients. Their outdoor setup doesn't have heating. They said they have jazz performances on warmer days. The decor is cozy and cute, staff super friendly and fun. Can't wait till spring. Oh, they are opening a biodynamic +natural wine shop/organic grocery shop next door called "Marche le Woof." Look forward to shopping there soon!!

Amazing local cafe that's building a fun Astoria community! I love chateau le woof! I come here on the weekends and it has created a really fun gathering place for Astoria! They have live music where you can support artists and listen to them play, while enjoying a coffee indoors or outdoors. Many people come with their dogs so if you enjoy playing or seeing dogs, this is the place to be! They offer a variety of coffee drinks and treats, so you can't go wrong! The location is also right across Socrates sculpture park, so once you have your coffee, and your fill of some live music - go and check out the sculptures! It's so fun, really love what they are doing for the community!

I'm not a dog owner, but Chateau le Woof has friendly service, great tasting coffee, and clean bathrooms. Plus it's located just across from the Socrates Sculpture Gardens and offers a great view across the water.

I came here with my nephew kwest (best friends iggy) we came here because I searched dog friendly cafes in nyc. I love how 2 separate entrances, one for doggos and other for cafe "humans". One side for the doggos has a groomer, a room with dog treats, toys and froyo section for you fur one. And other side for the humans who can order coffees . And also some more treats and toys for the doggos and a few cute benches to sit down and enjoy coffee while your dog plays with other dogs ( if you want of course). I love that this location is across from the water so it gives a cute waterfront view and also outdoor seating for your dog and your friend or significant other so with you enjoy the atmosphere. Overall was a nice experience! Also across is a nice little park you can bring your dogs to but not a dog park so must still be on a leash.

THE BEST PLACE FOR COFFEE & MORE The people are amazing, open and welcoming. This place is a staple to the neighborhood and our Astoria community. They host various events so make sure to follow them on IG!

My frenchie, Stella, loves to play with the other dogs at the indoor play area. We spend about 1-2 hours here every other Saturday. I love the latte and other caffeinated drinks as well as the latte art! I'm not a huge fan of the matcha latte, I think it taste a little weird. I love ALL of the pastries. My favorite wrap is the chorizo wrap.

I work around here as a dog walker so I decided to give this shop a chance. This is a review of the cafe human side, and I did not have a dog with me at the time. The lady tending the station was busy helping another customer. And I didn't mind so I waited, there was two other employees there. By the register both had seen me but were pretend not too which is fine because maybe being on register isn't there job. Finally one of them said something to the lady who was still helping a prior customer. So one of the other employees asked me for my order . He seemed quite tired , like he didn't want to be there . And I was like same I get that , when you have long days and they just keep going. I placed my order and had to repeat a few times which is fine it's a noisy place. He didn't tell me where the sugar or napkins were , and I didn't think to ask because I felt a little uncomfortable , like I wasn't wanted there (black poc) At this point I wasn't having the best experience , but there is no way to avoid tipping at the register. Or if there is they keep it small. At $8.53 for an oat matcha latte , and not having the best experience thus far I didn't like being forced to tip. Places like this need to pay their employees fairer rates . While $8.53 is prob a little more than average for an oat matcha latte. Why not add $.50 or $1 more cents if it'll go directly to your staff. As for the matcha it was okay, nothing spectacular. As for the matcha , it was ok

I highly recommend this place! J.A.R.V.I.S. absolutely loves it! Luis the groomer is Fantastic! Not only is he a talented stylist but he is an all around amazing human being! I cannot recommend this place enough! You and your dog will love your experience here and Luis!

This is a dual cafe split into two separate sides: one for 2 legged friends and one for four legged furry creatures. The dog side has a play pen where dogs can run, scuffle, and make new friends. The cafe serves sandwiches, a variety of quiches, pastries, and many beverages. They also have doggie treats, toys, and miscellaneous gifts.o The chai tea latte was one of the best I've ever had and the bathrooms are pristine! Nothing brightens up a day like playing catch with a friendly pup or getting the lick of love. Certainly a welcome distraction from the fact that the Noguchi museum is closed on Tuesdays. You can also take a walk through the Socrates sculpture park across the street if dogs aren't your best friends.

We waited about an hour for $17 silver dollar pancakes the size of a quarter. They were advertised as regular sized. Ridiculous price and wait.

CUTE! Bring your pups! love the live music and little play area inside for the doggos. You can also buy beverages and it's attached to a cafe. There's also a little grocery store on the other side. Everything is a little pricey ($17 for a dog rope toy) but it was definitely a fun afternoon for my fur-baby!

Two stars for great cafe staff and concept but customer service is BAD. I usually don't write bad reviews as I don't like how it affects businesses. But this was an exception and I wish they took care of their customers more. Let's start with the pros: - great vibes. There's a separate room for all things dog, treats pup ice cream cakes, dog outfits -seating where dogs can play and dog owners can chill -outdoor seating -chorizo sandwich was pretty good and big -in store staff was great -great cafe selection and drinks Cons: Where to even start. Multiple scenarios that we tried but everything was so unorganized. Not sure if this is an issue with whoever handles instagram and phone but there's a great miscommunication from online versus in-store experience. This was for the ice cream pupcake that we've gone lengths for! 1. No one answers the phone! 2. When asked over Instagram if it's available girl said it was all the time. So need to order in advance. 3. We MADE the trip to Astoria 30 minutes to find out it was sold out. 4. We left our contact info and was told we would be contacted if stock came in. 5. Stock came in. No calls at all. Only knew because their insta story told us. 6. We called today because the event was tomorrow. Surprisingly, a girl, prob same girl on instagram, answered and took our order promising to deliver to our place for the hassle. I rushed home from work just so the ice cream won't melt. Not so surprised, nothing arrived. 7. So we called 10x again to ask what's up with the order, no answer. 8. We decided to drive to Chateau bec I wouldn't take the train and waste my time like the first time. Guess what, we found our order just in the fridge. 9. Staff was unaware of the order and wasn't shipped at all!!!! 10. Honestly best to order ice cream pupcake elsewhere. But dine in is okay! IT'S VERY FRUSTRATING. I wish this girl knew this made such a bad impression. The staff is great but there's miscommunication to the expense of their clients.

My pomeranian Leo is starting to come out of his shell and socialize a bit more thanks to his visits at Chateau Le Woof. This cute place is a little haven for dogs and dog owners alike with a coffee shop right next door. I'm especially greatful for this place on the cold winter months when the snow and melting salt is pilled thick on the NY pavement. Also I have to add...this place is a total *vibe*. Everyone is friendly and laid back which makes coming here a treat for both Leo and myself.
