Chattahoochee Coffee Company - Westside

This little coffee shop is so cute! They have all the usual coffee options plus a fun fall menu. I didn’t catch the barista’s name, but she was super nice and quick with my order. I love checking out new coffee spots, and this one did not disappoint! The spiced apple latte was delicious, and both the chocolate croissant and blueberry muffin were really good too. There’s plenty of seating if you want to hang out or get some work done. Parking was a little confusing to figure out, and I think you have to pay for it after a certain time, but overall such a great spot!

Good cafe. I got an iced mocha with an extra shot — very chocolately I loved it. I also got a plain bagel with cream cheese. There is free wifi, lots of indoor and outdoor seats.

Chattahoochee Coffee is the perfect coffee shop to study or work remotely. There is a very nice, spacious atmosphere with Wi-FI to work while enjoying some delicious coffee beverages. There are a great variety of drinks, and the baristas are friendly and prompt. I do wish there was a greater selection of pastries or snacks, as food choices are very limited. Overall, it's a very relaxing, clean, warm, and welcoming coffee shop!

Good inexpensive drip coffee. The bagels are good as well. Service has mostly been great for me unlike the reviews - maybe because I am a regular here. Parking can be a hassle sometimes, but you could very well just park outside if picking up quickly. For extended stays they have a separate garage.

This place is really cozy. The barista was friendly and answered all my questions. The coffee beans are light roast but they do have a dark roast pour over. Parking is in the garage down the road. They've got 3 different espresso roasts: regular, half caff, and decaf. We ordered a plain latte and a drip. Both were very good. One of the best lattes I've had. The vibe is so comfy in there. Exposed brick, taxidermy displays and couches. They also had some delicious looking pastries.

Tucked right underneath the Walton Westside complex with easy validated parking and that perfect urban-meets-nature vibe, the location can’t be beat. Step inside and it’s pure rustic-cozy - exposed brick, warm wood beams, and plenty of natural light. The coffee lineup is killer: from bold pour-overs to silky lattes, every cup is dialed in. Fresh, flaky pastries and honestly priced very reasonably—huge win. Whether you’re knocking out emails at a big communal table, unwinding between classes, or sneaking a quiet moment before a meeting, the Wi-Fi is fast, outlets are plentiful, and the vibe stays chill. This a the spot that makes you want to linger.

Really cool coffee shop tucked away. This was definitely a hidden gem for me. The interior of this location is beautiful. They have a decent seating situation and would be great to study, read, or just hang out. The barista was helpful and friendly. They also have a good selection of branded merchandise. My coffee was prepared perfectly.

Loved the cortado I got and that there was 1 hour free parking in the garage with purchase. Indoor seating mostly and seemed like a lot of people were there to study or work. The decor was fun and the baristas were friendly, I'd come back. They had specials like French toast latte and a variety of flavors of tea and syrups for customization.

The coffee shop offers plenty of room to work, the service was quick and the matcha latte was tasty. Parking can be found in the garage next door but is only free for one hour, afterwards it's $3/hr.

At the foundation, a coffee should be a few things: comfortable, quick and preferably have a nice design. Chattahoochee Coffee checks most the boxes here, but sometimes struggles on the quick element. One time, there was a fifteen minute wait to get coffee on a weekend after ordering it. With a few locations around Atlanta and one of them actually being directly on Chattahoochee River, this has become a small local chain that is very much liked by locals. The interior design is a contemporary hunting lodge style design, with plentiful comfortable seating. Parking situation is a bit confusing here, so that's a minor downside. The coffee is great and served in contemporary white porcelain, reminiscent of Villeroy and Boch design, but of course not the original as that would be price prohibitive for a coffee shop. As a whole, a good spot.

I've never thrown away an entire cup of coffee before, but I guess there's a first for everything. I got a plain cold brew and could not stomach the odd flavor. Definitely not recommended.

Interesting little coffee place. The decor is quite rustic with some taxidermy on the walls. There was only one employee there so the service was a little slow, but the employee was kind. I ordered a hot chocolate and it was okay.

LOVE the chill ambiance as well as the decor. We walked in on Sunday morning and even though we made eye contact with the employee, no greeting ever came out of her mouth. We ordered an iced americano and rosemary latte, which were good. They use counter culture beans and there's a single bathroom that's shared with the leasing office. There's a parking lot if you drive past the shop that validates for an hour, and there's free wifi.

My first time at this location. I typically frequent the location in Smyrna/mableton by the river. This location is really nice, a bit bigger and also quiet. Barista was friendly. I love their hazelnut latte. This location doesn't serve empanadas. I really wanted on that day. Oh well!

I was burning time before a flight, and this was a great spot to burn it. Classy coffee shop built into a beautiful new apartment community. Plenty of people and dog watching, while you sip your brew. The coffee was dynamite...smooth medium roast from a semi-local roaster in North Carolina. The Barista was very cool. We talked shop for a bit, while I waited for my second round. They actually outfitted the place with power strips and outlets, which encourages loitering

"The smoothest cup of coffee I've ever had"- my partner, about his pour over. We came by here after we saw the good reviews and we're so glad that we did! I got a vanilla cappuccino and he got a pour over. It was $9 and the coffee was so good! They give you a list of what type of beans they used in each option, which was great! The decor is very outdoorsy, the moose was great.

I love coming to this Chattahoochee Coffee Company. The store itself is very nice and has lots of comfortable seating. The drinks I always seem to enjoy and have a wide range of house made syrups to add to any drink. The staff is always friendly and makes sure to try and make the drink the way you want it. I highly recommend to anyone to come here and work a couple hours and just enjoy the overall vibe of the place.

I came here in between events, and so glad that I did! Parking was free in an adjacent garage and super easy. You walk up the steps and into a spacious cafe. I got an iced caramel latte and a buttered croissant. The croissant was a little small to me, but the flavor was good. Reminded me of Parisian cafes! The latte was tasty too, and the ambiance was really nice. I would definitely go back.

The parking was really weird and hard to find since most of the parking spaces available, you had to actually be a resident of the apartment to park there but the overall vibe and atmosphere was very comforting and their coffee was just as good. It was a little expensive but most coffee shops in Atlanta are pricy. I would recommend going here for someone who wants to try a trendy coffee place but because of the price, it's not something I would consider going to every other day.

Update: they have recently introduced paid parking, when it used to be free in the parking deck behind the shop. Free street parking is still available for now. Still one of my favorite shops, but coffee and tea prices have gone up as well.

Came in 1/19 and the barista was super chill. I was just trying to get some beans around the corner at Brash and the girl in there was so rude that we just left and came here. It was spacious compared to most in that area, but the real treat was the barista. She turned my experience I had just had around. She even gave me some solid advice as a newbie espresso machine user. The beans I got made a solid cup at home, and that's impressive being that I barely know what I'm doing. I'll be back for sure.

Showed up at 9:02 am on a Thursday. No lights on, nobody home, no sign on the door except a list of times when they should have been open. Obviously life happens, so maybe something emergent came up, but this experience was still disappointing.

Great, cozy atmosphere to relax with a cup of coffee or tea. I like the soft music they play in the background whenever I come here to study. Things you should know: I. PARKING I park in the parking garage where there are 3 hour FREE spots available. All you have to do is drive your car a little past the coffee shop entrance and you'll see the garage entry. Easy. II. SERVICE no complaints III. QUALITY The coffee & add-in options are pretty good; there are multiple types of milks and syrups to choose from. I'm not a huge fan of the pastries, so I struggle when I want something with my coffee. But, that being said, they're branded as a coffee company and NOT a bakery. It's nice they cater to people by having baked items available. IV. CAPACITY For a Thursday afternoon, pretty busy. Every time I come here the seating is almost full. They have great customer support.

Known for their riverside location at Walton on the Chattahoochee, Chattahoochee Coffee Company also has an in-town location at Walton Westside right behind Westside Provisions District (WSPD). You can park for free at WSPD and take a set of stairs up to the coffee shop. You can also park for free inside Walton's deck. I used to be a regular at the original riverside location years ago: https://www.yelp.com/biz/chattahoochee-coffee-company-atlanta-8. Its view/setting is still unparalleled when it comes to Atlanta cafes today. This location opened in 2015 and is the company's second store. They opened a third store, also on the Chattahoochee but west of Atlanta, in 2020. So far, every location has been part of an apartment complex. My wife visited this location many times with her classmates when she was in medical school. They would study here. We visited on a Saturday around noon and this place was busy. Most seats were taken. I estimate the interior capacity to be about 40. The apartment has a spacious string-lit covered gravel patio, with seating for about 40 more, right outside the shop. The interior design is a mix of rustic, loft, and homey cabin with high ceilings, exposed duct and brickwork, tables and chairs made out of what looks like reclaimed wood, some soft seating (e.g sofa), and - the most interesting part to me - mounted animal heads/horns and other game hunting trophies. Overall, it's got a relaxed, warm atmosphere and it seems like a comfortable place to work. Many customers had their laptops out and looked settled in. The cafe uses the Walton apartment community's Wi-Fi. It wasn't working well for us, maybe because there were so many people. I'm not sure how fast the internet connection typically is. Chattahoochee Coffee Company serves Counter Culture Coffee (based in Durham, NC) and Rishi Tea (based in Milwaukee, WI). During our visit, they had seven types of coffee (drip, brew, espresso) and 10 types of loose-leaf tea. Most drinks started at $3.00-4.50 each. They offered pour overs, French press, cold brew, and non-caffeinated options like hot cocoa and fruit smoothies too. They also served food -- hand pies, quiche, assorted pastries, granola, and other snacks. Grab-and-go items I saw included bagels, muffins, turnovers, and cookies plus gluten-free products (e.g. brownies). Additionally, they had merchandise for sale. Things like French press coffee makers and tea kettles. My wife and I got lattes made with Counter Culture's Hologram espresso blend. The menu described Hologram as "fruity, milk chocolate, syrup." I got a large 12 oz for $5.00 and my wife got a small 8 oz for $5.25. Hers cost more because she asked for almond milk instead of whole milk. They use whole milk from Mountain Fresh Creamery (based in Clermont, GA). Yum. I got a vanilla latte and my wife got a chocolate latte. I preferred the vanilla latte over the chocolate latte. It was noticeably sweeter (I prefer sweeter, creamier coffee drinks). I enjoyed both lattes and thought they were good though standard and par for the course; not significantly more enjoyable than the Nespresso drinks I make at home. Service was fine. Steven was our server and he was friendly. The business uses ShopKeep (iPad) to process payments. TL;DR - Good, but not outstanding, coffee shop. Serves its purpose. Wi-Fi should be better.

Not really sure what's going on with this place. The last few times I've been here they aren't open even tho their business hours are posted on the window, and no notice for closing early or opening late. Once was during the week at like 5:30p, and the other two times were on a Saturday and Sunday at 8:30am and 10:45a respectively. Timing just has been inconsistent.

I came in the evening and was a little disappointed there were no more pastries. But I got a really delicious latte. I liked the vibe, it wasn't too crowded and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I'm not the biggest fan of taxidermy...but I would still come back to this place in a heart beat.

My hazelnut latte was bold and had a nice subdued level of sweetness. I recommend ordering a large because that is still relatively small (for American coffeehouse standards). The barista worked fast and was handy with the foam art. My cup had a nice little heart on top which made my smile! There's indoor and outdoor seating and the noise level was quiet, I'd definitely come back here to get some work done. Fyi if you park in the lot adjoining JCT, you just walk up the stairs at the back of the lot to find Chattahoochee.

Came in this weekend to get some coffee. They have free parking in the deck right next to the shop. They don't have an extensive menu but they have all the classics. We both got a vanilla latte - I got mine with soy milk though. They have about 4 flavor options (vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, lavender if I remember correctly), maybe one more. They also have a few dairy free milk options. They have a selection of pastries that looked good as well. They have quite a bit of indoor seating and outdoor seating.

What a great place to study, write, chill, or spend some time w/ a partner or friends. We came around 6 pm, a couple of hours before they closed. They close at 8:00 pm. I'm not a coffee drinker but my son wanted to go to a cafe and write, which I needed to get some writing done so we headed to this location since the other one was closed. I ordered a caramel latte since the caramel macchiato here is true espresso and outside of my league. It came out all cute w/ the design in the mug. I had to add a stevia packet to drink it. My son ordered the southwestern hand pie, which looked like an empanada. It was vegan, which he is not but enjoyed it nonetheless. He also had a chai latte and didn't add anything to it. The mix of music is nice. The inside seating is a mix of couches, nice arm chairs, and table and chair seating for 2, 4, & more. The staff were friendly and helpful and didn't give us the side eye as we stayed until 7:50. lol. Outside there's a cool patio as well with a nice view of the skyline, complete w/ patio lights. We'll be back!

Great study spot and lots of good options for drip coffee! Plenty of parking in the parking garage. This place is located in an apartment complex. I would definitely come again

I love coming here to study. They have lots of room for you to spread out and lots of options for you to choose from. There are high tops, comfy chairs even a large table. Plugs are available all around the tables. They also have an outside area for a nice breezy day. I'm not a fan of their dip coffee or their regular coffee. But their macchiato, cappuccino and lattes are my jam. I love the designs they put on them. The various decorations around the shops are interesting. We seem to discover new things that we haven't notice before every time we come. The coffee shop is usually pretty quiet during the week. Lots of people on their laptop doing work and a few people would meet to discuss business things. They are in the same complex as Walton. Plenty of parking in the deck (3 hours limit). The outside area is definitely a nice change of scenery. We have walked from here to Westside provisions to get lunch and desserts. I would definitely come back to hang out!

I stumbled upon this place while visiting the Atlanta area. Chattahoochee is nestled amidst a modern outdoor shopping area (Iook for the store, Design Within Reach). Just park in the back of the lot and walk up some steps. Coffee greatness awaits. The store serves the usual coffee drinks and uses Counter Culture beans. Taste, flavor, & presentation were excellent. I'd highly recommend if you're in this area.

Walked over the Chattahoochee coffee on a nice Sunday morning. When I was in graduate school, I would study here, it's quiet, open with plenty of table space. Due to Covid, there were slightly less availability seats, but still plenty of people there reading, working, studying. We ordered two drinks to go. Don't expect a quite order and drink, there is typically one person working, who takes orders and makes the drinks. I ordered a standard hot coffee. My wife opted for a matcha latte. Both were tasty! The offerings here are relatively limited, but cover the basics for standard coffee and tea drinks. They also have plenty of non-dairy creamer options. Typical prices for this type of coffee house in the area.

We came here mid-morning to hang out and get some work done. There were a ton of police milling around outside when we arrived. I could not tell if they had gotten drinks there or were there for some other reason. We found a parking spot pretty easily on the street right out front. The staff is friendly and the place has an upscale hipster chic vibe. There is a ton of seating, both inside and out. The indoor seating varied from couches, to comfy chairs, to bar style high seating. Truly something for everyone or group. The drinks are fairly priced for the atmosphere and tasty as well. The wifi was not that string though, which is why this is only a 4 star review. I want to check out their other location on the river.

BEST. LATTE. EVER! This is a super cute, rustic coffee shop located on the bottom floor of an apartment building. It's kinda tucked in so a little harder to locate, but plug it into your GPS and you won't have any issues. The vibe is chill, calm, fairly quiet but not whisper mode at all. The decor is rustic "woodsy" and the latte is magical. Also, much less expensive than some other places with much better quality coffee and a barista who actually knows what they are doing!

I just started working on Atlanta's Westside and was thrilled to find that the Chattahoochee Coffee Company has a location right by my new office. They are conveniently located in the Walton apartment complex. Parking was easy. They have the interior you would expect from the brand, but also included is a outdoor patio area where you can enjoy your brew with a skyline view. Service was quick and baristas were fabulous. I have experienced their cafe mocha and chai tea. They helped me find a gluten free snack as well. One word. Yummy!

Didn't order anything. Poor service. Clerk acted like she didn't want to conduct business. She was on the phone, but could've acknowledged that I've been standing there for a min. At least tell me you'll be with me in a moment or something. Then she was so quiet I didn't even know she was on the phone. The attitude could've been much better. I didn't feel welcomed. So I walked out.

Came to this place after working out at my gym with my friends to grab a quick cup of Joe. They only have one barista but he moved pretty quickly and was very pleasant. I got a shot in the dark and it was absolutely delicious. I like their counter culture coffee blend. Nice chocolatey notes. The location is nestled up under an apartment complex so I imagine that's why it was pretty full. There's also very little parking. They do have an ample amount of seating inside and also an outside area to sit as well

Chattahoochee Coffee Westside is my favorite coffee shop in Atlanta. Nice location with free parking. Cozy atmosphere equally suitable for work and leisure with lots of seating options and plugs for laptop charging. Friendly and knowledgeable baristas that are great at their jobs. Great snacks, coffee, and tea (particularly recommend the seasonal rosemary latte, chai, and matcha). Just overall an awesome, well-rounded spot, especially if you live in the area and want to chat with some cool employees and the strong crowd of regulars. Would give more than 5 stars if I could

Really cool shop! It's decorated well with super friendly staff. Spacious for those who want to come and work/study from it. Pour over was good. So is the ginger Turmeric tea. Needs some plants though,to go with their awesome decor.

ATMOSPHERE: Casual, quaint and small. This is the perfect place to meet someone for a cup of coffee, study, work, and/or relax. Most people are on their laptops with headsets kind of sitting to themselves. There were a few "seemingly business meetings" happening at the time that I was there but the noise level was still quiet. The chairs and couches are comfortable and I did notice enough outlets in case you need to charge your device while there. I order the french press coffee everytime I go. The large is enough for two people to get two mug fulls. Not too many coffee shops have french press coffee on the menu so I thought this was not only an added bonus, but also something that makes this place stand out among others. LOCATION: This quaint coffee shop is located in the Walton apartment complex in West Midtown. Depending on the time of day you come, parking may or may not be a problem. This coffee shop has nice picnic tables in the back with a nice distant view of the city. PROs- Coffee, atmosphere. Every time I've gone, there has been a gluten free dessert option! CONs- Potentially parking TIP- Come early!

Cute space. Good size. Full of tables and comfy couches/chairs. IDK what's close by but lots of student studying going on. If you're staying to sip on a beverage, they really fill your cup to the top. I found a loose leaf tea steamer that's really good in comparison to retail. I looked it up on Amazon. Only one restroom that's unisex and attached to the lobby, mail area for the apartments. I'd definitely return there and not frequent Starbucks, this feels more neighborhood friendly. My beverage was a Dirty Chai ($5+) and left a tip

This was some of the best coffee!! I've tried various coffee shops across the US and this was one of my favorites. Espresso was on point, and the oat milk latte I got was perfection!!

First of all, Chattahoochee Coffee Company why are you so good to me?! Do I even deserve you?! Day(s): Saturday and Sunday morning around 9a Parking: Shared parking deck with an apartment building BUT you have designated 3hr Visitor Parking spots. Let's be honest...if you need more than 3hrs move the car just buy some stuff don't be greedy The Other stuff: So I don't drink coffee yet I'm always down for a coffee shop atmosphere so I had a hot chocolate and it had faux latte art [whipped cream with a twist]! I was very much so into it! On Saturday I sat at a table and I noticed outlets in the floor but on Sunday I sat on the couch and just when I realized I was too far from an outlet...there I was BLESSED with a power strip with more than enough outlets. I did not use the restroom but it was just outside the coffee shop. WAIT WAIT WAIT it was NOT a Porta Potty..it's in a shared space with the leasing office. This location has my favorite ambience of the two current locations.

Another Atlanta Coffee staple that serves Counter Culture - my faveeeee. This location is in the apartments behind Westside Provsions. There is complimentary parking in a garage, just steps from the coffee shop. To enter, you have to go through a fortress with a security guard (part of the apartments). There is ample seating in the coffee show, and also decent outlet access. The coffee is obviously good. They have a typical coffee shop menu and some house made syrups. When I'm in the area, I like to work from here because it's always quiet.

Nice place, friendly baristas, excellent wi-fi. I will return soon. Parking is easy and free.

Located inside an apartment complex. + Cool loft ambiance with high ceilings + Outside picnic tables in the shade with a view of Westside = Small menu and mediocre coffees + Teas and smoothies (same ones as Akers mill) - Limited parking like a handful + Fast service with a friendly staff + Arden garden juices It's an intimate space and they do a fantastic job with interiors. Just wish they could improve their coffees. To be fair, if you like doctored up or weak coffees, this place is for you. I do like their smoothies and AG juices enough that I stop by when I'm in the area.

Good service and friendly, however, the coffee tasted burnt and bitter (not my favorite cup) but the almond milk was well frothed so that adds some brownie points for me. With lots of other options available in ATL I'm not sure this is your hot latte spot, but if in need it is passable!

Great atmosphere! So nice and relaxed. It wasn't too noisy when I went. A great study spot for afternoons and plenty of outlets from what I saw. I got a chocolate latte, it wasn't sweet at all which is what I preferred. Price is comparable to Starbucks I guess. I mean a little cheaper for me. Barista was so nice! She was helpful when giving suggestions. I can't wait to come back. Parking I thought was a little confusing. I parked at the parking deck with 3 hour visitor parking.

TL;DR def come here but don't tell anyone else because I need this place to study on the weekends. Disclaimer: Per usual, this review comes in the perspective of a low budget college student looking for a place to study. Tucked away from the rest of Westside and a bit of a struggle to find, this is one of three coffee places in the area. A bit of a walk from campus, this coffee shop is one of those hidden gems and was the only "boutique" coffee shops with spaces to sit. The layout and ambiance remind me of a cabin, with a majority of the furniture being brick and wood. Unfortunately, the tables, bar stools, and couches do not have a ton of natural light, if that's something you desire while working. Otherwise, the overhead lighting is perfect and creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, especially in the colder seasons. The plethora of outlets and subtle music establishes an ideal work environment. Of course, I got the cold brew on my first time here. It came in at a nice price of 4.00 (tax included) placing it in the just above sbux category but not at the Octane/Artisan inflated price bracket. The taste is amazing with a rich and bold flavor. The aftertaste is best described as chocolatey, a nice and pleasant contrast from the usual bitter taste cheaper cold brews have. 10/10 would come again. Just on sheer taste alone, I am now a usual customer.

This was such a great stop before checking out the Westside Provisions District. It appeared as though is a part of an apartment complex but has access to everyone. The interior decor is old fashioned yet modern with abstract art, exposed brick, various antler wall hangings, dark wood and leather furniture. Makes for a very warm and inviting atmosphere. I enjoyed a small vanilla latte and a cranberry and white chocolate scone that I regrettably shared with my husband, lol. Sweet and salty just how a delicious scone shown be, it had no chance. The lattes were great as well, no need for additional sugar and beautifully presented with latte art. Their coffee in general is very good. It's not dark and bitter but rather tastes as though it has many layers of flavors to create a well balance taste. The baristas were very friendly and you can tell they are well trained. Very good experience.
