Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs

Absolutely amazing place I went to the one in Eugene love their sandwiches love the names. They’re catchy titles for the sandwiches just the atmosphere really cool laid-back always really great. Glad to see that. It has transferred over from Eugene down here into Vegas too. Really recommend checking out their subs. They’re delicious lots of options.

Love this place! Ate at the first location in Tempe years ago. Just wished that had the bean sprouts to add to the sandwiches, but that's okay

Was drug here did not know what was gonna happen. This place is fantastic. They really know their clientele very nice and polite. Food is outrageously good.

Cool, colorful cartoonish decor. Cozy with table seating, a beer and light drinks bar, and outside seating. The teriyaki chicken 4 inch sub "nug" was toasted with good fresh ingredients. The Munchies, no chos" Nachos were cute and tasty. They were made with Doritos. The Mimosa was decent. This is a fun place to hang out. Mid range prices. Pleasant staff.

I was not under the influence when I ate from here😁 if I was I probably would have cried bcuz it's so freaking good..we got the Bomb, meatball sub..the sauce was awesome, tangy tomato sauce loaded with herbs...melty cheese. And The Canna, Italian sub. I got it w/o peppers and mushrooms, should have gotten it the way the chef wanted it because it's likely this person is a flavor afficianado. Even though, the combo of stuff that I wasn't being picky about still made the sandwich delicious. (L,T,O, Blk olives, pickles, the shake, cuz, house dressing). I LOVE THIS BREAD. Never had any like it. Definite spot to go back too.

Their sandwiches are literally freaking amazing!!! Their garlic toasted bread is so fresh and delicious. I got the Kali Mist, Pakalolo, and Midwest Best, and I have 0 complaints! Warm, toasty, and delicious! They have really cool artsy restaurant with good drinks and even a decent bar. I can't get over it, plus the guys at the bar had really good customer service, so that's a plus! I'm definitely coming back. Even my husband enjoyed it, and he's a really picky eater.

can never go wrong with Cheba hut. By far one of my favorite sandwich shops in town. Every location I have gone to the customer service is always amazing and the quality is consistent. The food does take a minute but they cook their meat it's not just sitting there in pans like other sandwich shops which I appreciate. They offer different varieties of drinks like kool aid and teas that they don't have at many other places. Their decor is eccentric and makes you feel like a dive bar feeling almost ( and they do have a bar area) I opted for the white widow and made some substitutions and they always get it on par. Thank you for always providing great service and great food!

I brought a friend for lunch. We had pretzel bites, Kali Mist and La Canna (Italian). We were greeted nicely and she took our order. The sodas are self serve which is nice! If eating in you get a number for the table for delivery. It was a nice day so we sat on the patio. The tables had not been wiped and were a bit dirty but that is my only negative. I had the Cali Mist my last visit and recommended it to my friend. He loved it! It really is a fantastic sandwich. The dressing they put on it just makes everything moist and even better. The toasted sub is a welcomed addition! The La Canna was good. I presured myself to try something else as it was my 2nd visit but I really love that Cali Mist lol. I love their pretzel bites. The are warm pillows of love and the sweet Mustard dip is a nice addition. So happy this is in my restaurant rotation now! I love this place!

Took some out of town visitors to check out this local sub shop and they all loved it. Toasted subs, with super fresh ingredients beautifully packed into a high quality bread and toasted with some ingredients in place. I ordered an old favorite no longer on the menu, a "Blunt (size), Humboldt (sandwich style) on wheat bread. The wheat bread was crisp on the inside and outside with a light airy wheat crumb. Provolone cheese was toasted on the bread followed by smeared avocado and all the vegetables you could imagine. I took 8 friends who all ordered different subs and everyone commented on the quality meats and veggies and loved their subs as well. They have cotton mouth cures (koolaid and soft drinks) munchies (we shared a fruity pebbles marshmallow treat) as well as a bar with about 10 great beers on tap! The staff was communicative and quick and super friendly. Clean restrooms. Kid friendly. Vegetarian friendly. Definitely one of the best sub shops in Vegas and definitely the best one you can get a great beer at!!

Yesterday I came here & it was a vibe.. when I walked in, they had the music playing & I felt like I was in the club. The sub I had was Kali Mist & man that shit was good asf as I was so hungry I busted that shit down. Customer service was great, too... I didn't even notice that they had a full bar, I needed a drannnkkkl after my long day of work.. Overall, i had a great experience I'll definitely come back again

Came here for a quick lunch and got the small kali mist (spicy club) on garlic herb bread. The sub was very small but it was super fresh, loved the crunch of the pickle and bread was toasted perfectly. The service was quick.

Very cool decor. Solid sandwich. I got the chicken bacon ranch sandwich since it was recommended from people on Reddit. It was good, but I definitely like the pepperoni and salami sandwich they have better. I'm not too familiar with the names on their menu, but my husband got their version of an italian sub on garlic bread and it was great. I'm not sure if I would become a regular here, but it is tasty. I really liked their strawberry, cherry, ACV tea as well.

I was so impressed with how amazing their toasted subs were. I ordered the 5-0 on garlic bread added mayo and absolutely loved every bit especially how spicy the giardiniera was. This sandwich hit on all levels and I am not the type to hype a sandwich. I will definitely be back to try their different offerings.

It's LOUD IN HERE! Okay, now that I'm done shouting over the music (I'm old), I will tell you the sandwiches are EXCELLENT!!! I lived in Hendo for a dozen years and never made it here, but upon return to The Sphere for U2's opening night, I made it to Cheba Hut! WOW! I LOVE this place!! Next time I'm in town, I will be there for sure. I need to try a few more of the offerings. High food quality, great creativity, helpful folks up front, and quick delivery of your order. Can't beat it. Now, it's one of my Top 5 sandwiches in Vegas. Would be 5 stars if the music wasn't so loud.

I'm not a stoner or anything, but my friend recommended we go here, so we went. Very cool decor and "toasted" themed menu item names. The service behind the counter and bar was good. We came around dinnertime after a UNLV basketball game on Nov 11, 2023. We split an Alcapulco Gold sub and The Kind sub. Both were completely loaded and so good. The bread is amazing and should probably be sold on its own. We didn't get one, but the Hash Can drink looks pretty interesting. The college kids banged several at the bar in the short time we were there.

I love Cheba Hut and have been to various locations. This has been my second time at this location and while the ambiance and service is great at all locations, this location's sandwiches tasted a little off. I had the Thai Stick, which I've had a few different times and it just didn't hit the same this time. Also, some of the booths and bathroom were not as clean as they could have been but the staff was great!

Food = great love it makes me want to come back again Service = accommodating Initially put it as 2 stars but updating it to 1 star, I reminded them about my order and they haven't even started making my food. It's been 1 hour and 10 mins and my food hasn't came out. I'm probably going to have to wait a whopping 1 hour and 30 mins just to get my food. And I won't even get any compensation or anything. Even at a fast food if they're late by a substantial amount they would give you a free item or a discount for the next time

What can I say, Cheba Hut is just alright. The stoner in me loves koolaid on tap, strain named Sammies, joint puns as sizes, and the munchies. The whole theme is dank and full of stoner puns; that's the whole stick. As much as I want to LOVE this place, it feels like a high school joke. The kids working here are always high. The service is slow and it's just simple sandwiches. It hits the spot just lacked the wow and they messed up my order. Where they really shine are their varieties of rice krispy treats. I was hoping for top shelf Dank and it was just mid grade.

Ultimate munchies spot! If you're looking for food that's quality on a sandwich, this is it! The service is always quick and they're very helpful when it comes to making your sandwiches. The sizes of the subs will shock you, they're named after stoner size bleezys if ya know, ya know haha ranging from nugs, pinners and blunts. The footlong is the blunt. I always get the chicken Kali mist and the ambiance will make you feel like you're walking into the coolest subway basement above ground you've ever been in. They have a bar also and amazing creativity when it comes to decorating. Favorite sandwich spot by far!

So full disclosure, I have never heard or been to this place before lol I wanted to try something new and decided this place looked like it had great sandwiches. I called my order ahead as the crowds around UNLV can translate to long wait times. The process was fast and easy and it took them about 15 minutes to make my order. Simple process of picking up and was less than a minute. Now let's get to the good stuff, the sandwiches!!! I ordered the Panarama red (chicken parm), and didn't do any alterations to it all all. It was hot and the cheese was melty, but the sauce and flavor of the over all sandwich lacked luster. The garlic bread it was on was good. I think most chicken Parma are breaded and this was just diced up chicken. I think the texture of the sandwich could have used the crunch from the breaded chicken. The second sandwich I tried was the Midwest Best. Let me tell you, this sandwich was good!!! I only had pickles taken off because, well I don't usually like pickles unless they are on my Cuban sandwiches. The sandwich had great flavor and great sauce. If I go back I know this one is one I would get again. There were many choices that looked good so I will definitely be back!! If you live under a rock like me and haven't tried this food then you should go!!

Cheba Hut Hands down the best sandwiches we've had in a very long time. I can't praise this place enough for their flavor combinations. Each sandwich packs a flavor punch that leaves you wanting more and more. Put this into your lunch spot rotation and you'll never be bored again.

Stopped by today and the bartender had amazing service absolutely wonderful visit the bartender I believe his name was Jeremy was very friendly and attentive he was great to talk to and made sure he helped everyone that came by definitely coming back more often if he's working loved the service and food Maryland pkwy Cheba hut definitely has an amazing bartender

Ok so this is a complete stoner place and this is a very unique take and go place. They do have a bar that I haven't tried but I love just taking my sandwich to go and enjoying it at home with a movie and my edibles. The ambience is real chill and quiet and a very clean restaurant. The toasted sandwiches are the best I had yet. I usually only eat Port of Subs, Firehouse or Jersey Mikes but this place is damn good that this is my new favorite place going forward. The service is good at times and lacks other times but still overall so yummy

The food is great and all but the staff needs to do better ! I was calling to place an order and was put on hold for a very long time actually never picked up so I hung up and called again and was hung up on. I get there and the staff was NOT busy at all!! They were literally standing around and talking so why tf would they be ending calls or putting people on hold! Cheba needs new employees

This is a great place to be near a college. With its weed theme, it's kitschy and fun. The sandwich flavor combinations are really interesting but also offer classics for those that prefer them. They have a bar that serves rotating beers and have a half hour where you can get beers for $4.20 from 4-7. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I ordered the Sensi Star which was a local favorite on Garlic Bread. I was not disappointed. I also love that they offer multiple sizes so you can choose how hungry you are. The bread was well toasted and the bacon was crispy with a tang and spice from the dressing. The pretzel nugs were also pretty tasty and not too salty and with the mustard provided, it was a great combo. The garlic bread paid homage to the great bread they use on the sandwiches. The only thing I missed was the cheese pull on the garlic bread. All and all, if I was looking for an interesting sandwich and a quick bite before or after class, I'd absolutely return.

Food is always delicious, I had a mix up and delay with my order today so sadly I had a little melt down and the staff quickly rectified the issue and had new sandwiches made and got me on my way and out the door almost instantly thanks to Kit my people weee fed on time and loved it

i've been coming here for a while now and ca't believe I haven't reviewed it yet. All the subs I have tried here re good. They have very creative sandwiches and are named creatively. A very good selection of veggie sandwiches, I may even try one someday. My go-to sandwich is the 5-0, All the Pig, Baby! It has ham, salami, prosciutto , pepperoni, bacon, cheddar and veggies. But like I said I don't think you can go wrong with any sub. I also recommend the Loaded Not'chos which is cheddar, jalapeños, onions, black olives, hot sauce, and ranch on top of Doritos. They have a nice selection of sweets although I haven't tried any. Always constantly good food and friendly employees.

I really don't understand why it's so hard for you all to put equal amounts of ingredients. This is a BLT. Where is the lettuce???? If you are ordering online go somewhere else. They aren't consistent enough.

amazing service especially the manager Vinny. We had our door dash driver steal our food. When I came to the store to pick it up myself, cheba not only made my order super fast, but also comped it out of inconvenience even though it wasn't their fault. I never asked for a refund. They just did it out of the kindness of their heart, because the staff genuinely cares They went way above, and beyond more so than DoorDash did. I visit this location very frequently and every time it's amazing the food never disappoints and the service is top-notch. Highly recommend this store 10/10.

Wasn't going to put this in a review but after seeing someone else's review from not too long ago about finding glass in their sandwich, I feel that potential customers need to be aware. Found a piece of plastic in my sandwich just now...Took a bite of my AK-47 and almost broke my tooth while chewing. I am pretty turned off from eating here.

Their catering menu is easy to navigate and the pricing is provided which made deciding our spread and staying on budget easy. Despite my oversight of calling right before a lunch rush to place my order, the girl that took my order was chill and even offered me some suggestions on how to order and their sizing so I could craft the perfect order. We ended up making our own box of "toasted" subs which includes 5 of your choice of subs. We also got some chips, a Cheba Greek Salad, and munchies because a Cheba Hut order is incomplete without the munchies. We chose La Canna which is the Italian, Midwest Best (club), Griefo (cream cheese and veggie), White Widow (chicken, bacon, and ranch, G-13 (turkey and roast beef). As you have likely guessed by the names of the sandwiches, Cheba Hut is 420 inspired though the food is not infused. The Greek Salad did not have a catchy name but was delicious, nonetheless. If you have a small group like we did, choosing a handful of munchies and cutting them into smaller munchies works if you don't want to commit to the munchie box but if you have at last 10 people then the munchie box is your best bet. Seriously- go be a hero! All of these choices were a hit (no pun intended) with our group. Pro Tip- throw on some 70's music for your team building luncheon to avoid awkward silence while adding to the theme. You will win the hearts of even the most reserved finance team members. I don't understand the employees and how it's undeniably a crash and burn kind of establishment. Once was a great place to meet up with friends and And to enjoy a sandwich under new management. The management has taken under false accusations. Or false pretenses to fire, one of their best leading bartenders. Now, for the other bartenders, I have no strong opinion for because I do not go there for them. I go there for one particular bartender, and that is good times also. It's come to my attention now. That I go there, it's not the same place that it used to be in not in a good way.

Damm good toasted sub or as I call them a grinder. Had a nice toasty bread that was soft on the inside and just the right amount of juice on it. I had a beer and chips also. It's right across the street from the UNLV so has a college feel and look. I'd go there again.

I went here thinking that my sub would be ready fast like other sub shops. It took almost 20 minutes for me to get my order, which I had to eat fast in order to make it back to work on time. The sub was good, but they had too much mayo sauce on it. I didn't care for the restaurant because it smelled like weed from the patrons who frequent here. I don't recommend eating here if you are in a hurry.

Glass was in my sandwich. Kitchen staff promptly refunded but should have never ever happened. Avoid this restaurant at all costs, a food prep inspection should be done. Absolutely insane.

If you're just looking for a bomb food for an amazing price and impecable service, this is the place to go! As an LA tourist, I visit this place every time I'm in Vegas. They never disappoint, this time the cashier, Bunny, greeted my group with loving energy at the register and the bartender, Good Times, served a delicious beer bong with a chill vibe to send us home I can't wait to experience their spontaneous games and events on my next visit!

I stopped my this place because I was craving a sandwich. I'm so glad I stopped by . The restaurant was cool looking . A stoner vibe for sure . I ordered a Deathstar Pinner . The sandwich was delicious!! It was not to spicy at all . I also got a rice Krispy treat, it was decent . The service was great everyone was super friendly and the wait was not long at all . It went around 3:30 pm for reference . The price for them both was $14.50 which was average pricing . My only complaint is the kool aid THERE WAS NO SUGAR IN IT ! I was appalled . Shame on whoever made it ! Lol

We didn't go looking for this place, but we were happy we found it! The place looks super cool inside. Loved all the stickers and stuff. We told them it was our first time eating there and the staff was more than helpful with suggestions. We both liked our sandwiches and will definitely be back when we come to Vegas!

The La Canna Italian Sandwich was toasted and served warm. It had the perfect amount of shake & taste dressing, perfect amount for the sandwich that was served open face. I enjoyed the blend of meats and vegetables. There was light music playing in the background and the employees appeared to being enjoying their day at work.

Omg I don't know why I have never tried this place before! I work about 5 minutes away & gave this place a try. I ordered online for pick up which was super easy & waiting for me when I got there. I got the Pakalolo & it was delicious!!! I love that it was oozing dressing & they wrap it in foil so it stays warm! Will definitely be back!

Every sandwich we've tried has been delicious. They're all bursting with flavor and juiciness. Definitely opt for the garlic bread. I also love their huge Rice Krispies and chocolate chip cookies. My go to drink is their sweet iced tea mixed with lemonade. If you're on the go, order for pick up in advance and get your fave sandwich or salad ready for pick up!!! We love these toasted subs!

After weekend games we stopped in for a quick bite. Service was great, it was super cute inside, and food was delicious! Definitely need more locations! We had the white widow (salad), dank, and kali mist.

My order was wrong and I was not given a receipt but I called immediately when i realized it was wrong so they can replace it since i did not eat the sandwich and manager stated he had to ask the general manager due to not being able to pull up the order because his computer was not allowing him to. So he said he will have the general manager give me a call and never heard back from the general manager and i threw out the sandwich and will avoid going there again. I just wanted it done correctly and it seemed like a big deal.

If I could give this place no stars I would . I ordered the la canna , if this is their version of an Italian sandwich, it is the worse sandwhich I have ever had . Not toasted at all . Super soggy and extra salty . Disgusting. If I would have known , I would have gone to subway , yes it was that bad .

I love the place and would love to give a good review. But this is. The second time lv been here. Ordered to go. And get home to eat. And both sandwiches were wrong missing ingredients. That actually come on the sandwich I ordered a magic mushroom and there was absolutely no pineapple on this sandwich and also ordered (the kind) and was missing a few ingredients that also come on the sandwich it's attention to detail that makes or breaks a restaurant / sandwich shop and I'm very disappointed with this location cuz there sandwiches are hella good when done right

The food and staff are amazing. Free bingo on Tuesday night and just an all around fun vibe. The GM Vinny is a super hard worker and seems great to his staff. I've been here over 100 times and it just keeps getting better! I recommend the 5-0 toasted sub and the hash can with coconut red bull (if you are over 21ys.) Oh ya, those rice crispy treats are definitely worth checking out!
