My husband and our little prince came in here to try it out by suggestion of a friend. Let's just say I love my friend more for her suggestion. Crab fries? I never heard of such thing here in North Carolina but was happy that I got to experience that love all over those fries. The staff were great as well. I can't wait to come back to D.C. with the rest of my family so they can try. I love supporting black owned!!

Not everyone is going to have a great experience everywhere, but here it started with patience. Patience for seating, patience for your order to be taken, and patience in getting what you asked for. I found my 1st experience okay, yet the food was great and it began with no expectations of the hype I was told in anything but the crab fries. It is a small, home-like establishment that gives the home, away from home dining experience.

On February 8, 2018 @ 4:19 pm., my husband and I brought the crab fries, turkey burger and fried wings. The turkey burger and fried wings were okay, but the crab fries was poor, they were warm, not hot and both orders had very little crab meat on them. We actually had to search for the crab meat, plus it had very little sauce, which made it hard for enjoyment, they were actually too... dry. I personally feel that this meal is way too expensive to be getting very little, they give you lots of fries and holly no crab meat. It's the crab meat that gets the customers attention, because people love sea food. Once I got home, I called Cheers At The Big Chair and asked for the owner, when she got on the phone, I communicated my concerns and her reply was... she measured the crab meat herself and it's the same amount that everybody else get, she stated that she can replace the fries, but not the crab meat. She should be a shame to charge that kind of money and give so little, it's not worth it. This was my first visit there and my last. The owners energy was lacking when it came down to satisfying her customer. I'm APPALLED in how she handled this issue. For the kind of money that she's charging is totally ridicules. You try to give back to your own... and they take totally advantage. People are not getting what they are paying for, they are being over charged, which is so sad in every form there is. The owner don't even speak nor greet you with a smile and the wait time is extremely long. I can make my own crab fries and have plenty left for later. She's probably making close to 200.00 dollars per container of crab meat, if not MORE. The crab place on Good Hope Rd., by the Ace Check cashing place, they give much more for your money and you definitely don't have to dig and search to find crab meat in your fries. The owner didn't even care that I was a first time customer, she blew me off as though I was nothing. I don't normally complaint a lot, but this was a offer experience that I never want to connect with ever again. The owner was arrogant throughout her delivery in communicating with me on the phone, which was not PROFESSIONAL at all, she needs to take a serious LOOK at self, because she's running a business that deals with the public. I will be contacting Consumer Affairs and whoever else concerning this rip off that this owner is doing. She stated that she was the one who weighed the crab meat, which she should be a shame of herself, she wouldn't want nobody to serve her less than what she deserve as a paying customer. !!

It has been difficult for me to find food that I like here in this area. A friend of mine suggested that I try "Cheers". He said their Crab Fries were great...That is an understatement!!! The Crab Fries and wing combo, are Awesome. I will be making this a weekly treat for myself. I'll have to share this with the gurls...Good customer service as well. Thanks

The crab fries and the honey bbq wings are AMAZING. Cheer is basically your neighborhood bar with great food. Some night there may be a DJ or you may come in and sing a little karaoke. I like that during the summer they open the out door patio area. It really chill. Always good times... oh and did I mention the crab fries? Yes I did but just wanted to remind you..

New owners! Family friendly and professional! Very great exotic mix drinks! Food is also a hit👅💦. Must come out on THURSDAYS FOR KARAOKE NIGHT 7-11PM❤❤. Also if you have a small or up in coming business they offer spaces for pop up shops meet&greet etc!

The fried chicken taste like they cooked it in dirty grease, and the they put too much mayonnaise in the crab meat that sits on the fries it over powers the crab taste. Too expensive for the location. No parking. They make you pay for the food over the phone for a call in order. I wish this establishment much success, but as for now it needs a lot of work.

I have been wanting to come here for a minute and finally made it. Downstairs is a bar which opens at 4 p.m. but I think you can get a drink there earlier. The downstairs area is where you place your order. It is on the small side but there is seating upstairs—around 6 tables. My mother and I loved the fried chicken wings. I've had better red velvet waffles. All in all, I'll give this spot three stars. I would return. The staff was amazingly nice and the food was on the better side. I don't think they handled a lunch rush as well as a more experienced outfit.
