"A Buffalo mainstay, Chef’s has been serving heaping plates of spaghetti since 1923. Situated on the outskirts of Downtown, the Italian spot offers homestyle fare that works for everything from family gatherings to romantic date nights. Favorites include the stuffed shells, veal scaloppini with spaghetti, and chicken broccoli Alfredo with fettuccine, but the dish that made Chef’s famous is the spaghetti Parmesan—a mess of noodles smothered in cheese and broiled to perfection. Due to its popularity with locals and expat Buffalonians, the restaurant can get pretty packed, so it’s best to make a reservation in advance (especially on the weekends)."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Buffalo Classic That Lives Up to the Hype! We had an incredible meal at Chef’s in Buffalo, NY, and it absolutely lived up to its legendary reputation. The spaghetti parm with meatball was out of this world—perfectly cooked pasta smothered in gooey, melted cheese and topped with a rich, flavorful meatball. We also tried the sandwich parm, and it was just as delicious—crispy, hearty, and smothered in that unforgettable red sauce. Speaking of the sauce—it was the real star of the show. Bold, savory, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced. You can tell it’s a family recipe perfected over generations. The portions were generous, the service warm and welcoming, and the old-school Italian-American vibe made the experience even better. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Chef’s is a must-stop. You won’t be disappointed!

Google
This restaurant is high on my list of favorites. The spaghetti parm is my favorite pasta I've ever had at a restaurant. The sauce and cheese taste very good, especially together. Everything tastes extremely fresh and made well. The mozzarella sticks are very good as well. The food came out very hot and the wait wasn't very long. Our waitress Rachel was attentive, kind, and all-around amazing. I would definitely recommend coming here!

Google
Chef’s is a must go to if you like Italian food. Their twist on Spaghetti Parmesan is one of a kind. Server, Jennifer, was outstanding, friendly and outgoing. Lunch portions were large enough for take home!!

Google
The lunch special is very affordable. Particularly like the chicken pam with spaghetti also pam!! Minestrone soup is also delicious! Not particularly like the decor with all these pictures with different people on the wall, but hey, the foods are excellent! Highly recommended.

Google
Gotta say I'm from South carolina and when I've always heard how people from new york we're rude so was kinda skeptical about going but after visiting this place I'll definitely be back. Hands down best spaghetti parm I've ever eat. Awesome service. And our waitress Dana was so informative and helpful. She pointed out places to go and places not to go. She a great waitress. I'd highly recommend this place. And gotta get the spaghetti

Google
Old school Italian restaurant with all the vibes! Pricey but large portions. The fresh bread was to die for! We were lucky enough to see the owner while dining there and had the guts to ask him for a photo. What a gem!! He obliged and was a highlight of the day for a small group of hockey kids from Canada!

Anytime we travel to Buffalo from Ontario this is our go to spot. You will not leave hungry. The layout is pretty cool with all the photos and fishtanks. Keeps kids entertained. Service is great. All around awesome place.

Google
My go-to spot in Buffalo! The spaghetti is amazing, especially the sauce. Get everything parmed! The staff is friendly and the food comes out relatively fast. There is a good reason why it’s so popular!

Yelp
First time at Chefs went with a couple people before going to Sheas and let me tell you everything was amazing. If you want great Italian food and drinks I recommend here!!!! The service was great and the owners of Chefs are so kind, the restaurants atmosphere felt warm and family friendly and was decorated beautifully for Christmas .Overall had a a great experience and will be going back. If I could give more than 5 stars I totally would.

Yelp
We stopped at one of our favorite restaurants. I ordered their special of $30.. I selected the large spaghetti parm which came with soup or salad and 2 Cannolis. Delicious! My wife had a large order of boneless Chicken Cacciatore with a side of spaghetti. Service was great. Same old same old with the decor.

Yelp
Chefs! We just love it and comeback to celebrate life events. We love the atmosphere and the food. Always so consistently delicious. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. We just feel at home there. casual setting, reservations important. Families and young kids welcome. Grandma and Grampa too! Take out available .

Yelp
Came here for dinner last night and was surrounded by all the stars of the world! So many famous people Visiting and I can see why. Excellent service from the moment we sat down. I love the decor! I like all the gallery style portraits hung everywhere. The food was sooooooo bomb. Best marinara ever. We ordered the spaghetti parm, pesto pasta and French onion soup. The pasta were both excellent! We got an extra order of sauce and tried 1 meat ball. So so so good! The French onion has the best flavor. Can't wait to create many many more memories here.

Yelp
I live coming here the food is always delicious and the staff has always been fantastic. I love sitting by their fish tank with a nice glass of wine!

Yelp
This restaurant is a must when visiting Buffalo! It is old school Italian with a unique dish of spaghetti parm. Yup you read that right~a huge bowl of spaghetti covered in cheesy goodness served with plain or meat sauce on the side. The sauce is delicious (and sold at the restaurant!) Weekdays they have a three course special with soup or salad an entree and mini cannolis for 30. Went with a friend we ordered the specials and both went home with enough leftovers for another feast. This restaurant oozes with character. Definitely seek it out!

Yelp
Chefs is a Buffalo staple. I come here every time I visit. I used to live in Buffalo and now I live near NYC. I can confidently say that NOTHING tastes like a Spaghetti Parm. It's a craving I can only fill by coming here. It's a 6 hour drive for me and I know that sounds crazy but it's totally worth it.

Yelp
Went here after work with a friend on a weeknight and it was busy, but not too busy to have a wait. We were seated right away and our server (I wish I could remember her name) was very attentive and kind. The bread with herb oil was delicious and the menu offered lots of different options! I ended up getting pesto pasta, and it was really really good. The best part was that for everything, I don't think my portion of the meal cost more than $25, even with a drink. That's hard to come across nowadays. I loved eating here and I'm excited to bring my family back when they're in town.

Yelp
The Good: - Plenty of space for hosting large groups and parties - Spacious parking lot across the street - bonus, it's at the corner and there is a stop light for safer crossing The Not-So-Good: - Not so welcoming - When I walked in, I passed the bar and a staff member came out of the back, I was about to ask where the large rooms are for reservations, as I knew my colleague was already inside setting up for our presentation, but he just said "go to the hostess stand." Then as I walked to the hostess stand, I saw two women behind the counter, I went to ask them, they said "you have to wait for for the hostess." Seriously? No one could just tell me which room to go to? We were the only group with a room reservation. Once the hostess arrived, she was in shock that I was there 30 min early and acting like there must be a mistake. I explained we have to set up for the presentation and my work partner was already here. The room was already set-up with place settings, so I'm not sure what the hesitation was. - The prices - holy cow do they charge a lot for pasta! And as far as I know, only the sauce is homemade. No handmade noodles here. - They close early on weekdays - to my surprise they close at 8pm on Wednesday. We did not realize this and apologize for our lengthy work presentation. I do wish that the server would have checked back around 7:30pm to see if dessert was wanted. - Lack of variety on the menu - would have liked to have seen gnocchi and lasagna on the menu. Perhaps a bit more non-pasta dishes too, like a chicken marsala. Overall, not impressed, especially considering this spot holds quite a reputation in Buffalo. I feel like Ilio DiPaolo's and Mulberry's have much better Italian offerings.

Yelp
So delicious! It was our ten year anniversary and the restaurant we had our reception at was closed, so we did the next best thing and got takeout Chef's because we had our rehearsal dinner there. The food was so good and has got me wanting to go back again soon!! We each got spaghetti parm (it wasn't heated yet in the picture and I didn't take one during the meal as I didn't want to interrupt our dinner!), which comes with a side of sauce and two slices of their fresh baked bread, an order of five meatballs, an appetizer platter, and an extra half loaf of bread. The appetizer platter was perfect and all very good!! There was garlic toast and it had a spice, I'm not sure what, but it made it much better than what I make at home. There was also onion rings (hard to mess up so they were good), calimari, mozzerella sticks (a sleeper hit for us!!) and fried ravioli (again, hard to mess up and perfectly good). The meatballs were good but the sauce was the standout part for us!! The same sauce came with the spaghetti and I loved it. A slight spicy kick and such good flavor, and I loved all the cheese on top of it all. The bread was also phenomenal! So soft and tasty and definitely another highlight for me. Good italian food done right, and we got two full meals out of it (with us both being incredibly stuffed each time!).

Yelp
We came across this restaurant by accident on the way home. We were so happy we did. Food and service was excellent!!! We had lunch specials and still took leftovers home. Bread was excellent. The entire family enjoyed and wants to go back. Our ravioli expert said "ravioli was the best she's had" Definitely deserves a higher ranking that it has. This is a 5 star establishment.

Yelp
Fantastic as always. Buffalo icon. Great service. Great staff. Great ambiance. Can't wait to go again.

Yelp
Perfect for out of town guests! For anyone wanting "Buffalo Italian," this is a great option. They've got an extensive menu of Italian faves, including their famous spaghetti parm. Unless you're bulking up for a wrestling match weigh-in OR want a hearty portion of leftovers, the small will do. They were able to use the non-meat sauce in mine and brought me extra sauce upon request. The spaghetti was soft, which fit the style of the dish, and there was so much cheese. I also got the minestrone soup, which is one of my family's favorites. My parents asked me to bring them two quarts after my meal and I accidentally brought them four quarts. That's a lot of soup for two people. But the soup was still gone within a few days because it is that good. I also got the opportunity to have an event in one of their banquet rooms as a helper to the event host. They had the ability to project a slideshow and managed to pull off a lovely banquet meal for 50+ guests. They were helpful and even snuck my parents extra minestrone soup. Overall, this place is a delight!

Yelp
Unbelievably good pasta, especially if it's parmed. We travel from Rochester just to eat here. Lunch portions are huge. The chicken parm and spaghetti parm are our favorites. Make sure you call for a reservation!
google avatar

Yelp
We don't eat in this restaurant normally because of the long wait and how packed and noisy it gets. We normally get the spaghetti parm to go, which is basically just spaghetti baked with cheese on top. Delicious, large, and consistent.

Yelp
Came here with a large group during a Buffalo Wing Trail trip. We needed a break from eating a million wings over the weekend, and this nostalgic spot seemed like a great alternative. Given our large size as a group and having made a reservation, they placed us in a back (private-ish) room that was perfect for us. We ordered several bottles of decent red wines and the server brought us plenty of Italian bread to go around (multiple times!).My wife and I decided to sample a cup of minestrone soup, but it was only average. We ordered a few of their famous dishes...chicken parmesan, spaghetti parmesan and also a side of meatballs. Everyone really seemed to love their rich, hearty red sauce which was atop both the chicken parm and meatballs dishes. Great for being sopped up by the Italian bread! The spaghetti parmesan dish was kind of unique. The noodles underneath the blanket of baked cheese were buttered and then topped with some sauce and the aforementioned cheese. It was a tasty combination and throwing a bit of the red sauce mentioned above over it made for a really good bite! This meal was a total carb overload, and I'm here for it! Sooooo much food that we brought two large boxes home as leftovers, which we enjoyed for days.

Yelp
The food I had here wasnt seasoned well at all! This place had my stomach in knots! I was in pain after consuming the food here

Yelp
Our dishes were top shelf for a 100 year old restaurant. Excellent Italian....service was everything you'd expect and then some. True Italian hospitality in a down home Italian restaurant.

Yelp
I attended an event at Chef's that was incredible. It was called "A Taste of Italy" and the location they featured was Sicily. The meal consisted of a four-course food and wine pairing. The first coast was an Arancini balled that was the size of a softball and stuffed with rice, ground beef, and peas, and sat in their red sauce. This was accompanied by a white Grillo wine. It was so good, and more than enough for one person. The second course was bucatini pasta with a red sardine sauce. This course was paired with a Merlot. The sardines were not overpowering and it was so good. I ended up having to take half home because I was already getting full. The third course was grilled swordfish with olives, capers, fresh lemon, and olive oil, with a side of fingerling potatoes. This course was paired with a Biano wine. Incredible, and even though I hate olives, the taste of them on the fish with the rest of the items was perfect. I also took half of the fish home. The last course was a cannoli, and I normally don't care for them, but these were perfect and very delicious. They also included warm homemade bread and coffee at the end. I can't wait for the next event in September, and highly recommend these events if you are a foody like me!

Yelp
What can I say about Chef's other than it was spectacular!!!! I had the Spaghetti Parm which is their specialty dish and was not disappointed. The dish was huge and packed so full of flavor. Instant hit and I will be sure to go back every time I'm in Buffalo. Their linen napkins are actually bibs and with a plate of food like that I needed one. I rarely eat leftovers when I take them home, but I literally ate every last bite! The celebrity pictures on the walls let you know it's a Buffalo staple.

Joselyn A.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Everything was delicious. Even the lunch portions were very generous and we couldn't finish them. They are not stingy with the cheese at all! The bread with olive oil was so good and I ate too much. Everything was delicious and I highly recommended this place!

Yelp
Called ahead to request a table same day, visiting from out of town. The female that answered the phone was discourteous, brusque and rude. Her tone and attitude were as if I was calling a 5 table Michelin star restaurant on a Friday night; acting as if I were imposing on her by trying to reserve a table and absurd for thinking a reservation was possible. There aren't any issues with a restaurant being unable to accommodate a seating request, especially with short notice, but it should be handled with courtesy. If I owned a business and this was the way my front end handled customers, she'd be on the short list.

Stacey H.

Yelp
Been eating at Chefs for many many years and it's always been so good. We decided to pick up some dinner on Tuesday 11/ /2024 so excited. When we got home and opened my gf spaghetti parm I noticed they changed the noodles from what they used to be. I tried some and they were so hard and gross I could could not finish it. Gf meatballs were bland and the gf bread was hard as a rock. The food is awfully expensive to be that bad. Soo sad.

Yelp
Old fashion Italian restaurant in Buffalo that started in 1923. It was recommended to us by a friend who grew up in Buffalo. We ordered the famed Spaghetti Parm, and Pasta Pesto. Delicious red sauce, huge portions. They do have small portion size, but with a small price difference we went for the large and are looking forward to lunch portions for next week. We also got sauces to take home. I gave 5-star original, but I was checking my receipt now and found I was charged for a glass of $8.50 wine I didn't order! Check your receipt carefully!
google avatar

Yelp
I truly do not understand these ratings. This restaurant is a must go if you are visiting and want to try buffalo food! However, you HAVE to get the spaghetti parm. I have never gotten anything else and never will, it's their most popular item! I definitely recommend their French onion soup when they have it too. The environment is nostalgic for me, a very welcome Italian feel. The spaghetti parm is absolutely ginormous and filling, so be prepared. I douse mine in the side sauce that comes with it as well. Definitely a buffalo staple!

Yelp
Chef's is a great local Italian cuisine restaurant! It's a casual atmosphere, and the service is attentive. I have been here a few times. I absolutely love theor meat sauce! I had gotten the small order of raviolis, and without question very delicious! And their complimentary bread and oil dip is on point! Their bread is so soft! What I also like about Chef's is there lights are not dim like some settings are. Therefore a more lively feeling! They have their own parking right across the street which is convenient for the location being in downtown.

Yelp
The food is always delicious, but this time our waitress left a lot to be desired. We arrived at 11:30, ordered our food with our drinks, ate and packed up by 12:15. We then waited 30 minutes before flagging down our waitress for the dessert and coffee included with our lunch specials. Once she came over, she stared at us like we were crazy, until I reminded her that we needed the rest of our meals and our check please. We then get the dessert, an ice cold, watery coffee, and no check. We eat our dessert and hold our tongue about the weird cup of liquid we got. Once we're done, she asks if we need anything else, to which we reply just the check please. She comes over 10 minutes later, takes our card, and then disappears. After another 10 minutes, we flag down a different waiter to ask him if he can grab our card. Our experience with our waitress completely negates the delicious lunch we had, and changed our opinions about coming there for lunch again in the future.

Yelp
A little more low key of a spot with a family atmosphere, Italian comfort food and a friendly staff. Had the spaghetti parm with the boneless chicken cacciatore and a nice glass of Chianti. If you're in Buffalo, gotta try it.
google avatar

Jaimie P.

Yelp
The lunch special is a great deal, it was salad an entree( about 5 choices to choose from), drink and sherbet for $17. The service was quick and I had no time getting back to work on time. Food was awesome as always. Only negative thing would say is the room I was sitting in had a mildew smell that bothered me for a bit but hoping it was just a combo of the weather and ac causing the smell.

Yelp
Chef's is celebrating 10O years in business at the time of this review! Our group of 7 had a reservation for 6 pm on a Friday, this place was PACKED! Chef's has a huge no-frills dining area, very old school in every way.The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly. After placing our orders, the food arrived in about 45 minutes. The complimentary bread and pesto sauce was very much appreciated. I ordered the Pasta Pesto and one meatball. I did not care for the meatball, my grandson wound up eating and enjoying it. My pasta dish was ok. The menu specified pine nuts but there were no pine nuts in my pasta. The overall flavor was decent, portion was large, it was a little dry. Salad does not come with the meal. Overall I found the service and food to be decent, but would not likely go back unless chosen by a family member or friend.

Yelp
Worth a trip to Buffalo. We wandered to Buffalo for a day away from Rochester--not sure what we were going to do, and opted on a whim to go for an early dinner. It was about 4:30 when we arrived on a Saturday and thought we were going to have to look elsewhere. They were booked up, and wouldn't be able to seat us until 6-then by luck the manager came and said she could accommodate a walk in. We are so happy they could, the food was good, service was very friendly, and our 3 year old really enjoyed the holiday decor. It is a bit loud, but that makes it that much more family friendly. The spaghetti parm is exactly what we were hoping for, cheesy, good sauce, maybe a little greasy at the end. My husband enjoyed the chicken parm as well. We would definitely return and recommend.

Yelp
Family Dinner 5/19/2022. I would honestly never eat here again, and this restaurant is highly overrated. The only thing that gave this review the second star was the friendliness of the staff, although they did take a long time to bring our initial drinks out. Bread dip 8/10. You can taste the olive oil more than I'd like. It would have been nice if they let the spices sit in it longer so that the flavors soak into the oil more. French Onion Soup 8/10. Good broth flavor, seasoned well. Probably the third best I've had. Stuffed banana peppers 1/10. Rating given by 3 separate people. 2 people say they have absolutely no flavor and need garlic and salt. I say it tastes very bland at first bite and then after a few seconds, nothing but spice. I tried 1 bite out of the middle of the pepper and my mouth was on fire after chewing for a second, it hurt so bad I had to spit it out, i felt like someone cut my tongue off for about 15 minutes and I actually started crying it hurt so bad. We had asked for some milk but it took so long to come to the table I resorted to butter for help. Calamari 7/10. Rating from 3 separate people. Too much breading. Kids Chicken tenders 1/10. Rating from 2 kids. They were difficult for the kids to bite. The 9 year old said he wished he would have ordered noodles with butter. Stuffed Shells 2/10. I got the large, the waitress said it comes with 5 shells, but I think I got 4. Super bland, the cheese was not very melty or gooey at all. It had barely any flavor. They definitely need to cook with salt. They also could have stuffed the shells a little bit more. Lasagna with 2 Food Truck Meatballs 0/10. My aunt ate literally one bite and that's all. She didn't like it. Pasta Pesto. 7/10??? Im just guessing on this rating. I tried a bite of this, but my fiancé put so much salt on it, on top of the salty pesto and it was very distracting from the actual taste of the dish. And I also waited too long to write the review so he doesn't remember much to help.

Yelp
So as a Buffalo native returning to visit, I've always viewed Chef's as one of the necessary visits. I used to eat here frequently and couldn't wait to make it back this year. Unfortunately I was disappointed. My family got spaghetti and chicken parm. I got the chicken livers- my favorite Chef's dish. The parms were great, the chicken livers were not. They were obviously reheated and in various states of warmness. They had the texture and appearance of something put in the microwave too long. Parts were overcooked and others were soggy. It was a big disappointment as i get to go to Chef's only once a year and this was our first post-pandemic visit. Our waitress was great however and I can't say enough about the service.

Lisa S.

Yelp
Super busy but fast service. Solid old school pasta dishes with huge servings. The spaghetti Parmesan has a cool backstory and was yummy.

Yelp
I placed an online order for shipment as a gift for an out of town family member who grew up at Chefs. I paid $77 for 2 day shipment. After 3 calls checking why it had not arrived on time I was told the 2 day shipment starts when they ship not when the order is placed. So I paid $77 for 2 day shipment but actual time from order to received product is 9 days since it sat for 7 days before they got around to servicing this customer. No excuse nor apology but I was informed they only ship once a week.

Yelp
Visited Chef's today for the first time in years. It was for a funeral lunch so I didn't get a chance to look at their prices. Actually first time in one of their banquet rooms. The room was comfortable. The lunch was a buffet that included a salad, veggie tray, macaroni and sauce, meatballs, breaded chicken, and stuffed shells. The food was good even though I'm not a fan of their sauce. It's a little sweeter than I prefer. There was also coffee and cannolis. The cannolis were delicious. Only complain was the coffee. It was super weak. Service was good. I'd go back to try other menu items. No pictures today. 2022-72

Yelp
WoW! Just wow! Behind this classic, innocent looking facade lurks the ambiance of an old, belt busting menu and great staff! I was expecting a completely generic Italian dinner, but man was i wrong to assume. The place was adorned with photos of celebrities, presidents, sports heroes, businessmen, and the fresh hum activity from the servers. To be quite honest, it had the feel of the scene of The Godfather where micheal shot those guys down. The bread was wonderful . . Get the spaghetti parm...you will not be disappointed. I got the large, which was bigger than what i had in mind, but nonetheless i ate it all. Get the tiramisu, you're welcome!

Gennifer M.

Yelp
Amazing food, friendly family atmosphere, and great bib/napkin for your safety, LOL. Meatballs were ok but nothing to write home about. By contrast, the minestrone soup was spectacular. And long letters surely have been written about the famous spaghetti parm and the ricotta rigatoni with meat sauce. Both of these meals were excellent . But I'm not sure how one person can finish these meals. LOTS of pasta. If we are ever in Buffalo again, we will be back.

Jen J.

Yelp
Went in the middle of the day and it wasn't too busy. Place was quiet. Service was good servers were friendly. We only tried the mozzarella sticks because that's what we went there for and they were very delicious. Freshly made.

Yelp
A Buffalo staple, Chef's has been in town for years. Nothing has changed much inside since the 80s when I started going. The food is the average run-of-the-mill Italian food with a very sweet sauce reminiscent of Chicago style sauce. You have to be a fan of this sweet sauce to appreciate it here. It's a fun place to take people from out of town. The service however is above average they really take care of you there.

Yelp
What is there left to say about Chef's that hasn't been said already? I had a nice experience here with family and look forward to coming back! I arrived around 5:50pm on a Thursday and parked in a Chef's parking lot across the street. The parking spaces themselves are tight but I didn't have much problem getting into the spot and was surprised to see quite a few spots open. I walked inside and made my way to the hostess station waiting on the three others joining me. One of us made a reservation for 6pm so when it came time and the others were a running a little behind, I walked up and was able to claim our table without issue. The dining room was very spacious but our table for four was on the small side, but we made it work. Our waitress was friendly and took care of our table well, nothing noteworthy or above and beyond, which is absolutely fine. I appreciated how she checked-in when it was right to and let us take our time and enjoy the meal and experience at Chef's. She took our drink order and gave us plenty of time to browse the menu but we all had a pretty good idea on what we were going to order so we were able to put in our food orders pretty quick. With how busy it was, all of our food came in a reasonably good amount of time - I never reached the point where I wondered where our food was. The warm, sliced bread with the herb dipping sauce and butter helped with curbing our appetites, along with an order of pizza rolls, which was enough for the four of us to have one roll and some Chef's sauce to dip into. For dinner, I ordered Chef's specialty - Spaghetti Parmesan! I ordered the small size and from the selection of meatballs, mushrooms, and sausage, I added a meatball on top, for a small fee. I was impressed with the portion size and presentation of my Spaghetti Parm, and I appreciated the cup of Chef's meat sauce on the side. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly and had the right balance of softness and being al dente - It was easy to cut and swirl onto my fork. Of course, the melted dome of mozzarella cheese on top was delicious and was something I didn't know I needed with spaghetti! There was a light amount of Chef's meat sauce mixed in with the spaghetti so if you really enjoy sauce, you'll make good use of the cup on the side. I like Chef's sauce, which tends to be sweeter than normal red sauce and, to me, doesn't seem as heavy/lingering on my breath and my stomach. The meatball on top was excellent as well, very easy to cut into with my fork and had a savory flavor without being spicy like meatballs can be sometimes. It also tasted fresh and homemade, no Rosina's frozen meatballs here! Now, the rest of my table ordered the same thing but chose the large size so they could have leftovers. I was very happy with the small size as with most Italian restaurants, they are VERY generous with portions. I ate my entire Spaghetti Parm and it sat incredibly well - Even a few hours later, I felt great and not bogged down like a lot of Italian food tends to, at least with me. I also thought the price for my Spaghetti Parm was pretty reasonable especially given with how much food I got. This was the second time I have been to Chef's, ever, and it's been over 20 years since my first time, so it was great to come back again. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the Spaghetti Parmesan has certainly earned a spot into the Buffalo food hall of fame! I definitely don't want to wait another +20 years to come back to have another Spaghetti Parm.

Yelp
I LOVE Chef's !! EVERYTIME my nephew comes in from South Dakota, his Uncle has a big get together at Chef's. You get small portions for the price, but dang ,is their food delicious. I love the fresh Italian Bread they keep putting out. I could just eat that all night, but I won't. I ordered the Gnocchi with Marinara instead of sauce with meat. Omg ,it was delicious !!! I've never had that before ,but I will definitely be getting it again. For dessert, too many yummy choices, but oddly enough, I went with the Strawberry Cream Cake. Normally, I'm a chocolate person. The cake was good, but the piece that my in-law got, she gave me some & Idr the name of it, it was something Italian sounding though & that was heaven !! I'll be getting that the next time as well. Always good food & good times at Chef's !!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I just moved to Clarence NY a couple months ago and kept getting recommendations to go to Chefs. I love Italian so I was curious to see how good it would be. We went a week or 2 ago for the first time and it was amazing!! I ordered the eggplant parm with parmed spaghetti on the side and my boyfriend got chicken parm with parmed spaghetti. Safe to say the parmed spaghetti became the only way I will eat spaghetti now haha. Other than that- atmosphere was great, went on a Wednesday during lunch and it was busy! But food came out at the perfect time and our server was so sweet telling us all about the best things on the menu and making our first experience great in general. Also super cool to see all the famous people who have been to this restaurant... I wasn't expecting to see that! (Framed pictures of celebrities all over the walls holding their famous Chefs sauce) Currently waiting in the parking lot for them to open at 11 am to place an order for Chefs parmed spaghetti lol
