Chef Tian's - Review - Rowland Heights - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"If you’ve eaten much Chinese food around Vancouver, you might be familiar with Chef Tian’s, a popular Hunanese spot that just expanded with its first U.S. location in City of Industry. The lengthy menu here looks fiery enough to test anyone’s spice tolerance, and many dishes arrive at the table in woks they were cooked in, like dry pot chicken wings, wok-fried abalone, stinky tofu, sour fish, and Hunan-style smoked ribs. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Cathy Park

The signature stir-fried pork and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The pork was tender, flavorful, and perfectly spicy with that irresistible wok hei (smoky wok aroma). Every bite paired so well with rice—it’s the kind of dish you can’t stop eating. The service was fast, the environment clean, and overall it was a super satisfying Hunan-style meal. Highly recommended if you love bold, spicy flavors!

Recommended by a friend, and decided to give a try, it was okay, not as good as you had from home but the service was not bad, it was fast and efficient. I will probably not going just for it unless I’m really close to the spot.

Order online and pick up. This restaurant is clean and waitress here is very friendly, not like most Chinese restaurants. When I got home, I was surprised by the quality and taste. Really very authentic Hunan style, and all ingredients are fresh. Definitely recommend it!

Horrible dining environment, very greasy and slippery floor. Food is too spicy (we asked for no spicy), and when we raise this issue with the waiter, waiter said it’s our fault not explaining clearly to the kitchen. “You need to tell them don’t put chili in it, otherwise they won’t understand what does ‘no spicy’ mean”

This is a great place for spicy food lovers. Food is fresh and tasty, great service, and plenty of parking spaces.
