"Regulars to this restaurant in Roswell love the mix of Sichuan dishes on the menu, including dan dan noodles, chongqing spicy noodles, honey roasted fish, hot and numbing crispy beef, and salt and pepper prawns. There’s also a nice variety of dumplings here. Chef Wu features Peking duck with all the traditional accoutrements and crispy fried duck, both of which come in either half or whole portions. Make sure to ask for extra wrappers with the Peking duck, especially if ordering the whole bird." - Eater Staff

This place was great, and I cannot wait to come back. I came in on a Friday about lunch time with my mother and brother. We were sat immediately and our server was very fast getting our waters. He answered our questions and was very nice. My brother and I got the Crispy Beef with hot numbing pepper. It was delicious the flavors were developed and not overly punchy with the spice. While it isn't punchy with the spice that is not to say it doesnt pack a punch. I asked for extra spice and was very pleased with the level of spice. My mother ordered the orange chicken and said it might have been the best orange chicken she has ever had. They serve the tender and juicy chicken covered in a thick sweet rich orange sauce and tasty pickled orange rind. All our dishes came with white rice. For 1 soda, 1 order of orange chicken, and 2 orders of crispy beef our total came out to $53.66 before the tip. I highly recommend you give Chef Wu a try if you are in the area.

We ordered takeout from this restaurant for the first time yesterday. We had a large order and it was pretty pricey. The price is the first complaint but I understand it with inflation and a required tip amount. The food was average and the vegetables fell flat In flavor for me. I covered mine in the sesame chicken sauce for flavor. The lo mein, egg drop soup, fried rice, and chicken entrees were very flavorful and delicious. Also, they were so quick in filling our order that it was ready for pickup before we ever made it to the restaurant. They did not give us any silverware with our meal which was an inconvenience because we were staying at a hotel and not at home with that readily available. We ended up stopping for utensils which was an added side hassle. Picture attached shows only half of my meal. I had a lot of left overs so it was worth the price. I enjoyed the meal and the family did too. We would eat here again.

Google
I came for the $10.99 lunch special, but sadly you cannot get wonton soup with it. You can only get egg drop or hot and sour soup. 😢 Why not let your customers have the option of wonton soup? Even if you only put 2 dumplings in the soup I would have been happy. 🥟🙃🥟 Also, no red sweet & sour sauce?!?! 😭 Anyway, I ended up getting my favorite Chinese dish - wonton soup for $3.95 ( came with 4 dumplings). Also ordered steamed rice and spring rolls. IMO it was all just ok. Probably won’t be back. 🥺 However, Chef Wu is a very nice, quiet, clean, comfortable, relaxing atmosphere to eat lunch. Thanks for having a couple comfortable booths for people with back pain. ❤️

So happy that theres a traditional Chinese spot in Roswell after moving here from midtown. The mapo tofu slapped. Great prices. Good drinks. Friendly staff (Shout out to Gari) chill atmosphere. Will be back asap!

Google
Incredible flavors! Probably the best services I have had in years. I order hot tea at restaurants all of the time. This is the first time anyone has ever refilled the pot with hot water, so I could have more tea! Can't wait to bring friends back to try more dishes with me.

Google
If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, Chef Wu is the place for you. The Dan Dan Noodles were my favorite dish - they were packed with flavor. The salt and pepper prawns were also delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the decor is really nice. Overall, Chef Wu is a great spot for a casual meal.

Google
Highly recommended Authentic Sichuan food! Good modern atmosphere, nice and clean. The food was amazing and authentic 🌶️ ! Very fresh, high quality meat and veggies! Service was excellent, food came out fast!

Google
We had dinner last night here. The restaurant looked clean and had nice atmosphere. Food was good. Service was tentative and very friendly. If you like spicy food, they have many dishes to choose from. Sliced Beef and Tripe in Spicy Szechuan Sauce appetizer is delicious, spicy, and highly recommended. We ordered two appetizers, two main dishes and two soda, and the total was less than $60 before tax and tip. I would come here again when I am in town.

Yelp
If you're looking for good Chinese food chef Wu is the place for you The food was amazing the service was good

Yelp
What can I say, nothing is mediocre here. Bring your antacids because the Szechuan chilis (Numbing Peppers) flow freely here. Now don't get me wrong, this isn't spicy for the sake of heat, it's all flavour! Don't even get me started on the super star of their menu - the Crispy Beef with Numbing Peppers. And their Pork Belky isn't far behind. For starters, if you have a small group, get the roast duck bone broth. Beware the duck bones but absolutely bask in the rich broth, the still crunchy cabbage, and the perfectly paired vermicelli rice noodles. And you can't go wrong with the spicy cucumber salad. Both of these starters give you a glimpse into the potential of real Chinese cuisine that most people never experience. And, to top it all off, their service is amazing. Always filled tumblers, and they even have a couple of interesting mixed drinks you'll want to try. Throw caution to the wind and bring on the spice.

Yelp
I've lived in Roswell for half a year or so, now, and tried a ton of its restaurants as well as spots in neighboring Alpharetta and John's Creek. Chef Wu is easily in my top 3 I've found since moving out here, if not my outright favorite. I've tried something different every time I've come- 2 chicken dishes, 2 beef dishes, a vegetarian dish, a fish entree- and it's all been stellar. Some of the best, most authentic Chinese food I've ever eaten. I read Eddie Huang's "Fresh Off the Boat" a few years ago, and the food at Chef Wu tastes like how he expertly described delectable Chinese and Taiwanese fare. It's significantly different from the "Americanized" Chinese food I am accustomed to (and also fond of); much less laden with sugary-sweet sauces, much more reliant on the quality proteins to speak for themselves-- lightly breaded and often accompanied with some peppers for a tasty kick. Additionally the service is top-notch in a manner as authentic as the food the wait staff is bringing to your table. You're never left wanting or waiting by their attentive, knowledgeable staff, yet they're also never overbearing or overstay their welcome the way wait staff trying for a good tip can. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Daniel A.

Yelp
There's not enough space to say all the things that need to be said. Go with friends, order one of everything and enjoy. We went with the same friends twice and ordered about 18 different items and disliked zero. If you can't take the heat then.... You're gonna hurt. The start of the entire show is the crispy beef with numbing peppers. So insanely crispy but also tender, and so good. The bok choy is also a favorite of mine. I've been 3-4 times total and loved everything.

Sydney B.

Yelp
I've lived in this area for over three years, but as a creature of habit, I don't venture beyond the trusted names. Shame on me. I don't know how long this has been here, but it's a first for me. The chimes at the front door let you know, you're coming into a chillax destination. The layout of the restaurant seems a bit mom/pop'py, but I like that. If you're unforgiving and expect only the best of everything when it comes to the fact that a 'wet floor' sign is stored in the middle wall section, because it's practical, even if not perfect... then you'll probably find things to pick at here.... But me... I walked in.... I was greeted immediately, and not for more than 2-3 minutes at a time, was I ever without someone in short range to ask for help if I wanted it... though I didn't... because they offered and anticipated all my needs before I needed to ask for anything. I know it's not Japanese, but part of me hoped to see plum wine or sake but that is not at the bar here... but... OMG... you MUST try the Lavender Lemonade! The freshness and subtle kick makes this a perfect dinner and date drink both... I had to and no issues at all... but this was an ENJOYABLE drink... if that makes sense... it's not to feel it (though somewhere into the 2nd, even if pacing, you might start to... so be drink responsibly). But as an essential oils fanatic, I ADORED the fresh lavender in this drink... in fact, I'm taking them home with me. As far as the meals themselves... I got a simple chicken fried rice... it's a much larger serving than it appears but the chicken is perfectly thin-sliced and not once did I have to wonder what I might bite into... the quality was wonderful. The Mapo Tofu, according to my (adult) son was 'spicy' but nothing extreme (though he likes things really spicy, so exercise caution). Now that we've found this place, we'll definitely put it on our 'regular' list of destinations. If I had to pick one thing that wasn't 9-10... the fortune cookies might have been a little over baked.... But by the time we got to fortune cookies, trust me, we didn't care!

Yelp
Loved the food here!! The service was great and would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for amazing authentic chinese food! My personal favorite is the shan city chicken and spicy Numbing hot pot of beef and the Pan fried pork pot Stickers is good too

Yelp
We were so looking forward to trying Chef Wu, but what a disappointment. Our first hint should have been how empty it was. The best part of our dinner experience was how pleasant the restaurant decor was. It was down hill from there. We ordered Xiao Long Bao first as our appetizer. Even though we ordered it first while we looked over the menu, one of our entrees was served first, before our appetizer was served. I rate the Xiao Long Bao a 2 out of 5. The skin was a bit dry and chewy and the filling a bit bland. I've had better frozen ones from Costco and Trader Joe's and expected a lot more from Chef Wu. Our two entrees consisted of Three Mushroom Chicken which was good and chicken quite moist and tender thought the flavor lacked any depth in flavor. We were looking forward to the Vegetable Fried Tofu Pot which was very disappointing. Though it looked good with fresh vegetables, the Fried Tofu pieces were on the dry and chewy side and the sauce very one dimensional, that dimension being SALT! It definitely needed rice to eat it with. After finishing my SMALL bowl of rice, I asked for a little more rice. When I got the check, there was a $2 added charge for a small bowl of rice! You would at least expect the waitress to inform me at the time I asked for some. There are so many other good Asian restaurant choices around, so don't bother with this one. Chef Wu was a huge disappointment and we don't plan on ever coming back!

Yelp
Incredible ambiance, and incredible service! We chose to eat here on a whim, driving back to Sandy Springs from Alpharetta and it was an awesome choice! This is not your typical Chinese cuisine, though they do offer your classic dishes everyone loves. Pig Knuckles and Pig Intestines are a specialty (and authentic) part of their menu. We didn't try any of them, but definitely will next visit. Upscale, but casual enough not to be fine dining--but more upscale than your takeout Chinese restaurant. I love some spice in my life, and order the Szechuan Fried Fish, and in return as you can see in the photo, it's MASSIVE. So delicious, and just enough spice! You can request any spicy dish to the level spice desired! The Homestyle Fried Chicken w/ their homemade sweet and sour sauce was also incredible. Just sweet and savory enough to eat half the plate! We started with the Spinach Bao Bun and they were delicious, and you could tell EVERYTHING was made fresh to order. We will definitely return and with others to join! 100% recommend this spot! Lunch or dinner!

Steve R.

Yelp
Very disappointing. We ordered beef and chicken dish. Both were disastrous. Doubt we ever return.

Kina A.

Yelp
Hidden gem! We came here with about 8-9 people and it was a weekend but they accommodated us so quickly. They brought out my toddlers food first which was so kind (hangry kids need their lo mein lol!). ALL OF THEIR FOOD WAS SO GOOD! The spice level was appropriate to what we wanted spicy versus not spicy. Portions were large and that was amazing since we all love to eat family style. I can't even tell you half the things we tried but we got about 10 entrees and came home with plenty of leftovers. Veggies are fresh and you can tell because they aren't soggy, they are crisp and cooked to perfection - asparagus side was 10/10. I do remember their cumin chicken being a group favorite! Parking is easy in the plaza. The ambiance is nice and casual!

Carmen C.

Yelp
Great restaurant. My family celebrated Christmas earlier so we came Christmas Day for early dinner. We had a bigger party but they were able to accommodate as soon as we walked in. The food was so good. The portions were huge. They even gave us a Christmas gift with treats. I'll definitely be back.

Allen H.

Yelp
Incredible service blended with an excellent tasty dish! I sure like this restaurant a lot better than anything around. Thanks to the staff for making our first experience so good. Can't wait to get back!!!

Yelp
If you live in the north Atlanta suburbs, Chef Wu is a great option for authentic Szechuan or American Chinese classics. Located in Roswell right off of Holcomb Bridge Road, this easily accessible spot has a spacious interior and is very quick with take out orders. We picked up an early dinner from here and had a an excellent meal. We ordered the cumin lamb, vegetable hot pot, the mapo tofu, the home style honey chicken, and Szechuan style cooked fish. The cumin lamb is a staple from Chef Wu; this time, as usual, it was super tender and well spiced. The lamb comes with onions and peppers and is always a highlight. The vegetable hot pot comes with lotus root, bok choy, cauliflower, wood ear mushroom, bell pepper, and onions. This dish is comprehensive and a good addition if you're looking for some fiber in your meal. The mapo tofu is the most standard of the Szechuan dishes but the numbing spices pair nicely with the rice that comes with it. The home style honey chicken is an American Chinese invention that is like a sweet sesame chicken-type dish without the sesame seeds. Would probably want to try the sesame chicken next time rather than this but it was still tasty. The Szechuan style cooked fish are essentially fried fish fillets tossed in Sichuan peppercorns and red chilis. This is my absolute favorite dish; it's crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned very nicely. Keep in mind that if you bring it home, the pieces might not be crispy when you get home. We always air fry the pieces when we get home but a toaster oven would also work well. Each entree comes with rice if you choose, but the online ordering system allows you to modify this and request no rice or other rice options.

Khusbu P.

Yelp
Came here with a big group on a random Saturday night, had called in advance inquiring about ressys but they accommodated right away. Was blown away by the food. Everything was delicious we got so much mostly all veg and chicken items and everything was so tasty. Def did not disappoint our guests

Abi A.

Yelp
Simply tasty! The Peking duck was delicious and the ribs were juicy. Got the food as takeout but should try dining in there soon.

Lauren B.

Yelp
This is a local go to with its veggie fresh dishes and flavorful combos! Especially love their Mongolian chicken, Kung pao chicken and general tso! Staff are friendly and food is always served hot and fresh!

Shanika D.

Yelp
Sooooo yummy!!! I randomly tried this place, the food has flavor, prices are decent, I will order again.

John C.

Yelp
We had the Mongolian Chicken and King Pao Chicken. It was amazing! So fresh and lots of veggies. Highly recommend going to the restaurant, it's beautiful and they have really great service.

Kelly H.

Yelp
The ambiance started out nice until I went into the restroom. Very poor ventilation made for a very stinky, sewage smelling hallway and bathroom. The hallway walls were filthy and in need of a new coat of paint and professional cleaning. The bathroom smelled awful and was hotter than the rest of the restaurant. Looked like the inside of a gas station bathroom with little to no care for cleanliness. Makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is. The food was underwhelming. I ordered the house fish dish which was fried flounder heavily battered and tossed in what tasted exactly like Buffalo sauce. The steamed rice was cooked perfectly however. Quality did not match pricing. The service was good. My server was very informed on the menu and was happy to help me navigate it. She was very attentive.

Emmanuel O.

Yelp
I ordered the Chicken Lettuce Wraps for an appetizer and the Kung Pao Chicken entree with Green tea and a water. The wraps came out great! Great presentation and the taste was superb! I got the Kung Pao Chicken without bell peppers, and the entre came out fast as well. Good taste, although I am not totally sold. The Kung Pao seemed a bit off. My taste buds were so twisted after eating it that my water tasted salty. Other than that, the service was great, my server (Ken) was very responsive, and the restaurant was clean with a nice ambience. I would recommend giving it a try.

Shirley C.

Yelp
Food here is too salty. The service was not good either. I don't plan on returning here again.

Rose O.

Yelp
Been here two times, and I ordered the same things. The first time was 5 stars, and the second time was 3 stars. I give them 4 because my overall experience has been pleasant. The place has a nice ambient, polite servres and you can feel they care about their business. For the appetizer, I got eggrolls. You will get two usually lightly fried. This time, it was very lightly fried that inside wasn't cooked much and felt the soft dough that has been getting mushy. The sauce that comes with it tastes good. Then I had vegetable lo mein. The noodle texture was on point, portion size was decent, and there was enough vegetable in it. However, it felt like something was missing. I thought it needed more sesame oil. Or could have been stir-fried to get it smoky. Since we visited during the holidays, when we asked for the check, our server surprised us with a little gift from the owners. It was chocolates and a $5 gift card to spend on our next visit. That was a nice gesture

Supittra S.

Yelp
I love love love spicy food and Sichuan food. Now that I live closer to Roswell I've been trying to find a good Sichuan restaurant and finally found one! This restaurant is located at the ConneXion shopping mall so plenty of parking here. When we walked in the first thing we noticed was how nice and open the interior is. There's plenty on seatings here and a lot of tables for big party too. I always order the dry fried eggplant every time I eat at a Sichuan restaurant. The spice was perfect and everything was seasoned well. The braised fish surprised me the most and might be my favorite. The sauce was so rich in flavor. I love eating it with the dry fried eggplant and poring the sauce on it. All entree came with a side of white rice or fried rice. The bill came up to be about $56.95 not including tips for the both of us. Normally we would have left over but man oh man everything was so good we finished everything. Can't wait to come back here again and try some other dishes.

Josiah C.

Yelp
The food tasted pretty good but the price of the noodles was crazy. Anyway thank you very much for this time we've spent together. You will never know the impact this made on me

Brett J.

Yelp
Very underwhelming! The location is nice but the service was poor and the food was blah. We came for lunch and they had these deals for lunch... which were not much of a deal. My wife asked the server for recommendations and he waffled back and forth between half the menu. My wife order on me if his recommendations... First we ordered an appetizer of pan fried dumplings... we love pan fried dumplings... but these fell very flat. The my wife got her food... it was one of the specials the server recommended... I can't remember the name of it. She picked at it but in the end left 90% of it for them to have back. It was not edible! We were so hoping for a good culinary experience but I have to say this one fell flat. It was not cheap either... my dish was just bland... it's like the chef left the seasoning out of the food. This is not a venue that we will be returning too.

Carole M.

Yelp
Easy parking in the plaza Large open indoor restaurant Went for lunch Fast service and very reasonable prices The soups were good and the lettuce chix was perfect to share

Monica L.

Yelp
My go-to food is Chinese cuisine, and I was craving that spicy mala taste so I decided to come here. Flavors are strong and you definitely get some heat--if you're really sensitive to spice, you might want to be careful with what you order here. I have a fairly high heat tolerance so this gave me a mild tingle, which was nice. Meats were cooked well and they give plenty of vegetables. My only qualm--and this is common with many mala/szechuan places--is that it tends to be really oily. I'd definitely be back to try more items.

Kiyah G.

Yelp
Why did it take me so long to visit this neighborhood gem? A friend and I spontaneously wondered into Chef Wu's on a rainy Friday night after work. We were greeted and seated immediately. I ordered a glass of wine and the Spicy Hunan Shrimp. I also ordered the Sichuan style stir fried string beans. My friend ordered the Singapore noodles. Everything came out hot, fast and flavorful. I was so impressed by the quality of the Spicy Hunan Shrimp...the leeks were so yummy. I also loved the green beans. The service is top notch too. Chef Wu's is officially "my" new fav for Chinese. I can't wait to return to try something new.

Jay J.

Yelp
I attempted to place an order online but their website doesn't allow you to add any substitutions or add allergies. I had to call twice maybe due to the dinner rush but once a team member answered the ordering process was simple and picking up the order was easy. Overall the food was fresh and flavorful. Maybe it a just me but they do go a little heavy on the soy sauce for me other than that great food. Also priced on the higher side considering the portions. As far as the establishment inside was well lit and plenty of open seats at the bar, high tops and dining tables.

TooHonest F.

Yelp
After reading the reviews and looking forward to this restaurant, we walked in only to be half greeted by someone to tell us to seat ourselves, and they spoke no English. They serve tapwater in glasses, that reeked of chemicals, and when I asked and inquired about it, they denied it and said it was only my glass. They could not find me a clean glass that didn't reek of chemical or soap residue from the dishwasher and we walked out before sampling the food because I did not want poisoned food from people who do not speak any English and could not even tell me whether their chicken dishes dish are prepared with white meat or dark meat.

Brent D.

Yelp
I had Chef Wu a few weeks ago--took the kids. Food was great. I can't remember what I ordered, but it was some type of sizchuan dish. It came out in a cool thing with fire. It was piping hot, and tasted good. Kids got chicken w/ mixed vegetable / rice dish--they liked theirs too. The only problem was the waiter--took our order, brought drinks, and never saw him again until the bill. It wasn't even crowded. We will definitely go back for the food. I recommend it--seems authentic, and was really good.

Jessica L.

Yelp
Awesome Chinese restaurant in Roswell. Very happy there's a good authentic restaurant in Roswell so when I'm at my in-laws I can enjoy yummy good within 10min drive. They also have a beautiful full bar for your cocktail needs ;) We got the mapo tofu, twice cooked pork and a fish fry pot. My favorite was the twice cooked pork but everything else was very good as well. Service was also very good. Our waitress took great care of us.

Scott S.

Yelp
Do not order the Scallion and Chili dish. The worst thing I ever got in a Chinese restaurant. My wife liked hers but the lunch special only comes with Hot and sour soup or egg drop soup. She couldn't have the won Ton soup. Who ever heard of no won ton soup on the lunch special.

Marcus O.

Yelp
Nice to get some Szechuan flavor up in the burbs without having to go on a spiritual pilgrimage to Pleasant Hill or Buford Highway. Overall, this place offers a variety mixed with classics and a bit of retelling for some. This is what I ordered: - Scallion bubble pancake. Basically very thin, very little scallions, very oily, very disappointing. Doesn't look like the menu picture. Peanut sauce was good. - Xiao Long Bao. Decent. Not the best, not the worst. - Szechuan Chili Wonton. Pretty darn good. The soup base comes in is delicious and so are the wontons. - Home Style Honey Roasted Fish. Really good. It's a big sweet so be ready for that, but the flavors are on point. - Salt & Pepper Calamari. Good flavor but way too salty and way too expensive. Skip it. - Crispy Beef w/ Hot Numbing Pepper. Don't miss this dish. This is really good. It's fried beef with dry spices, mixed with peppers. It will light you up so have some rice ready to go. :-)

Yelp
I knew it was not going to be an American Chinese restaurant but the amount of onions and leeks in my pork belly dish was overwhelming. It is good Chinese food but know that is not what most American think of "Chinese food"

Bruce K.

Yelp
I think Chinese food can be pricey, but quality should be part of it as well. I stumbled upon this place as I wanted to try something new and constantly eating off of Buford Highway (which is never a bad thing) I thought to look to the other side. My visit here I sort of went off the ropes and sort of ordered a good amount of everything. I mean, I had leftovers...for days. I started the meal off with Basil Kisses, which really reminded me of a moscow mule but it had more of a basil flavor (obviously). We shared Xiao Long Bao, Szechuan Double Cooked Pork, Braised Fish In Chili Oil, and Peking Duck. Thoughts: I wouldn't recommend the Xiao Long Bao from here, as I felt that there wasn't really any soup in the dumplings and there wasn't any soup spoon for you to eat the dumping from. I also felt that the skin was a bit thick, so I would say to skip the Xiao Long Bao if you were here. Szechuan Double Cooked Pork: Thinly sliced pork belly with a chili sauce. Absolutely delicious. I would say this was my favorite dish of the night as it carried well in the leftovers/takeout that we didn't finish the night we were there. Braised Fish in Chili Oil: I think this was one of the best dishes. It looks more intimidating than it actually is. The fish was great and I honestly think that the chili oil/take out leftovers were better the next day! Peking Duck: This was supposed to be the highlight of the meal. But I find myself often wanting more wrappers, as there's usually more duck than wraps. So, I have to say it wasn't bad the duck was crispy, everything was good, it was just the let down as far as the wraps. Maybe more wraps? Overall, Chef Wu wasn't bad. I definitely see myself coming back here. They have a wide variety of dishes that I have yet to try and probably will. If you're looking for some good Chinese food, this place should be on the list.

London S.

Yelp
Amazing. Real. Szechuan. Great portions. Delicious food. Support this wonderful place.

Danise S.

Yelp
I ordered 3 appetizers/dishes to go. Foods were prepared fast and server is very polite. The foods smelled amazing but that was about it. The soupy dumpling (xiao long bao) is just like frozen ones from Asian stores. The second dish is spicy chicken with chili. I ordered this from many different places, and never once had this thick breading on the chicken pieces. Usually, it has a very thin coating and you know that you are eating chicken. But not this one. After the thick breading soaking up all the chili oil, this dish is beyond disgusting. The spicy cucumber is ok, not bad, not great. This is on the pricey side for sure. Will not return.

Annie W.

Yelp
Best Chinese restaurant ever. Don't let the large menu scare you. They have the basics but try and step it up with the Hot pot of sizzling fish with numbing spices. It's like wasabi, you will crave this and keep coming back. 5 plus stars for Chef Wu!

Bob R.

Yelp
Wonderful food and service for both lunch specials and great dinners. Also, a full bar and delightful environment with consistently attentive service!

Kike F.

Yelp
Great food made with fresh ingredients, service was friendly and detailed, highly recommended

Yelp
I have been eating Sichuan food for more than 20 years, and this is the first time I have seen boiled fish like this! After confirming with the waiter, she told me it was boiled fish

Crystal L.

Yelp
Was looking for some good Chinese in the Roswell area and came across this place. I got the house lo mein and my husband got the general Tso chicken. Both were good, but not extraordinary. It's pretty much like any other Chinese food place. We did order takeout, but the inside of the restaurant is put together well and seems to have a great ambiance about it. Staff was very nice as well.

Dotty D.

Yelp
Good selection of dishes other restaurants don't have. Have had the crispy beef w hot numbing pepper and the Szechuan fish, both very good. Only thing missing from their menu is a good egg roll.

Savi D.

Yelp
Chef Wu has good food. I was on this side of town because I was trying out another new restaurant. After picking up my order from the first place, I decided to try some food from here. It wasn't very busy inside. The decor is nice and so was the customer service. I decided to order a few things off the menu to try. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and bang, bang shrimp. The fried rice was good. They provide a nice amount of shrimp in the rice. The bang bang shrimp however, wasn't a favorite of mine. I didn't like the sauce and the shrimp were a little mushy. I've had bang bang shrimp before but not totally drenched in sauce. I would go back and try other items. I would add Chef Wu to your list! I loved the shrimp fried rice!

Yelp
I am delighted I stumbled upon this restaurant randomly. Wanted to try another restaurant in the same complex but found out it didn't open until 12:30pm so it was either go back home or wait it out. I decided to try Chef Wu because I looked up the name, saw the good reviews and bookmarked it when I turned in the parking lot, prior to learning the restaurant I came for was closed for another half an hour. I decided to dine here and wasn't disappointed. The decor is super cute, very chill and modern. Drinks were strong. I ordered the Mirage. I wish it was more juice than alcohol. But I've always been a lightweight when it comes to mixed drinks. I ordered the following: 1) egg drop soup: yummy and thick and gelatinous, comforting yellow I am used to. It is served with some fried wonton chips that I wished were fresh off the oil hot but they were cold like they've been sitting out. 2) wontons in chili oil- very disappointing it came out like a soup and the wontons were a bit overcooked so it fell apart in my mouth. Wouldn't order this again 3) double pepper chicken with steamed rice very good, tasty and spicy would order this again

Yelp
First time giving this restaurant a try, a quick pick up on the way to work. They were very nice when I called in before opening and ordered their Mongolian beef lunch special. Told me it was going to be ready in about 15 minutes but I went ahead and came in a little earlier and the food was ready. The seating and space looked very nice for a date night or lunch outing or so. They have many great choices on their menu. The taste was great, just wished they put more rice with the meal. But even tho it was a lunch special it was a bit pricey for the portion size. Wish I was able to take a picture before digging in

Yelp
Food is amazing!! Very authentic we have been having fun trying many of the dishes and staying away from the American Chinese dishes.
