Persian restaurant with beautiful decoration, ornaments and dishes! Cuisines are authentic, fresh and delicious. Portions are standard with decent amount. Good selection of beverages. Veggie section stands out with pleasant options. The gentleman host was very welcoming and helpful. Service was quick, responsive with attentive waiters. Free parking lot get filled up quickly but still manageable. Reservation recommended. Good for couples, kids, seniors and groups.

I absolutely loved the interiors of this place it had such a timeless, vintage charm that transported me to another era. The ambiance alone makes it worth a visit! The food was delicious with generous portion sizes, and our server was incredibly courteous and attentive throughout the meal. The menu is quite extensive, offering a great variety of options, and the wine list is massive definitely a treat for wine lovers. The tea menu is also great and the presentation is gorgeous the dessert was also amazing. Highlight of the meal was Sultani the meat was very tender. A lovely spot for a relaxed meal with great service.

Excellent food. I haven’t been here in many years. Surprised to see that they actually improved their business in a time where most businesses are cutting costs, lowering quality, and becoming sadder. The hot bread, yogurt appetizers, cold pitchers of water that didn’t taste nasty like 90% of restaurants were a great start. Then the food was actually excellent. Portion, quality, and taste were excellent. I’m Persian and I know what good kabobs are. It’s rare to get anything worthwhile anymore when you go out. I have to admit I was surprised that they do such a good job here. I am looking for are to going back. Only blemish was my rice was a bit undercooked that I was surprised about given how well they did everything else. No one in my party had the same issue. So, I’ll write that off. I had the mixed ground kabobs and both beef and chicken were delicious and perfectly made. The choice of half rice and salad is great with a salad that is very nice while you still get a lot of rice.

If you’re seeking an exceptional Persian dining experience in the Bay Area, Chelokababi in Sunnyvale is a must-visit. During our recent visit, we indulged in the Shish Kabab—a delightful skewer of marinated filet mignon, bell peppers, and onions, grilled to perfection over charcoal. The meat was incredibly juicy and tender, bursting with authentic flavors that transported us straight to the heart of Persia. Accompanied by fragrant saffron basmati rice and barbecued tomatoes, the dish was a harmonious blend of taste and tradition. We also sampled a variety of other meat dishes, including the Kabab Koobideh and Joojeh Kabab. Each was expertly prepared, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to quality and authenticity. The Kabab Koobideh, made from marinated lean ground beef, was flavorful and succulent, while the Joojeh Kabab featured tender chicken fillet pieces, marinated and garnished with saffron—a true Persian delicacy. The ambiance of Chelokababi is warm and inviting, with elegant decor that enhances the dining experience. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent service throughout our meal. It’s evident that Chelokababi takes pride in offering authentic Persian cuisine, making it a standout choice for anyone craving traditional flavors in the Bay Area. Whether you’re a connoisseur of Persian food or new to the cuisine, Chelokababi offers a memorable dining experience that delights the senses. Highly recommended!

Google
Excellent Persian food. High quality, huge portions and very flavourful. I get the beef koobideh and chicken koobideh plate and my husband loves the shish kabob. The meat is sooooo tender it’s quite amazing. Rice is fluffy. Masto mooser is thick and creamy. They often have Tahdig if you ask for it. I love this place!

Google
Wonderful Persian restaurant with a great vibe inside! Came here with my team for a work dinner & it was a cool little spot. They also have a nice outdoor seating area. I ordered the mix koobideh plate which was the perfect quantity for me. Each skewer was a good size so you’ll definitely feel full after eating both. And the rice had a nice flavor to it as well. My colleague ordered a rack of lamb which I tasted & it was quite good, may need to get that next time I’m around!

A True Persian Delight! Chelokababi is hands-down one of the best Persian dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance transported me straight to Tehran—beautiful décor, warm lighting, and that distinct Persian hospitality that makes you feel like you are in Persia. Now, let’s talk food—the Persian slider was a total standout. Comes with 4 servings juicy, flavorful, and packed with authentic spices, it’s the perfect bite-sized burst of Persian flavor. And the Joojeh Kabab? Absolutely melt-in-your-mouth tender with that perfect char and subtle saffron marinade that leaves you craving more. Everything was fresh, aromatic, and clearly made with care. Whether you’re new to Persian food or a longtime fan, Chelokababi is the real deal—both the taste and the vibe are unforgettable. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Google
The restaurant has a classic vibe and tends to be quite crowded. The wait time for food was almost an hour, which is pretty long. Prices are on the higher side. The food tasted good—I especially liked the dough (yogurt drink), but the medium cup was priced at $7.50, which seemed a bit much. I had the barg kebab, a dish I’ve tried at several other restaurants, but here it was very thin and seemed smashed. Parking on weekends is also challenging.

Yelp
We started with Masto Mooseer which is a yogurt dip with shallots, it came with some pita bread and butter. We also had Joojeh Kabab ( chicken )and Kabab Koobideh (lamb). Everything was delicious the dip was freshly made as well as the pita. The meat was succulent. We got the half rice half salad combo which was great for one adult. I particularly enjoyed the buttered saffron rice that comes with the entree. The salad was also freshly made. We finished off our meal with rose and pistachio ice cream and Bhaghlava. Favors were great but it was a little too sweet for me. They also are a tea house and serve teas as well. They have a limited selection of wines and beers as well. The service was great, our server was super nice and quick. The ambiance was also fabulous with pleasant Persian music in the background.

Yelp
Beautifully decorated! Even the their plates feature traditional Persian designs. We went for dinner and restaurant was packed and crowded. They couldn't seat us inside so we were given a table on patio, which was perfectly fine! There was a fountain and a table with decoration, both of which added a nice touch. Our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered kabob torsh and koobideh. The kabob torsh was absolutely delicious! They also brought a complimentary small bowl of rice for our child which was a thoughtful gesture.

Yelp
With the most adorable name in Persian cuisine, Chelokababi met every desire I had in deliciousness. At the end of a strip mall that needs a serious makeover, omg, so fricken awesome inside. With larger center tables and little cubbies for tables of 4, it is dimly lit for a very authentic and transporting experience. My table of 4 loved our food. Chicken kabob plate (5.0 stars), Barg (4.5 stars), and an order of Koobideh (4.5 stars). The rice and salad was great, too. Loved the Masto-Khiar. Hosted, and our server, Arman was so funny and lovely. He made us feel at home and very welcome. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I was craving Persian food after I tried it for the first time in Little Tehran in Los Angeles, and specifically looked for a restaurant that offered albaloo polo (sour cherry saffron rice). Chelokababi popped up and so off to Sunnyvale I went. The portion size was hefty from what I expected, so that was a nice surprise, and the staff constantly asked how I was enjoying my meal. The ambiance is good for families and groups, but also had a table for 2 because I came solo. Overall good find and I'd come back.

Yelp
Habibi this place is halal!! My mom love this place. The decor is beautiful. I usually prefer modern decor but this place has such a precious vibe it's hard not to adore it! The kabob is seasoned and cooked really well and I love their eggplant dishes too. The saffron ice cream is a must. Service is very friendly, there was a small mishap with our order and the staff was very apologetic and accommodating.

Yelp
I came to Chelokababi for my work's Persian New Year dinner celebration, and it was such a memorable and delicious experience! We ordered a variety of dishes, starting with the Middle Eastern platter--perfect for sharing! The falafel paired well with the creamy hummus. For mains, we had the Kabab Barg (filet mignon), Kabab Bareh (lamb), and chicken kabab. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned--the lamb and filet mignon especially were tender and packed with flavor. The kabab portions are generous, so I definitely recommend coming with a group and eating family-style. One of my photos even shows three kababs on a single plate--there's plenty to go around! We also enjoyed several wines with the meal and finished with a beautiful dessert tower featuring love cakes, vanilla bean ice cream, and cream puffs. It was the perfect sweet ending to a hearty and savory meal. Whether you're in the mood for something savory or have a sweet tooth, Chelokababi has something for you. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I hope to come back soon!

Yelp
I was looking for something different in the area that was healthy and clean from what I usually have and stumbled upon this place. I had the Fesenjun and it was definitely different from what I had! There were several large chunks of chicken and what was cooked with the chicken was a fairly red paste that consisted of walnuts and pomegranate. The paste was sweet and sour and had a texture similar to an unrefined peanut butter before mixing in. The chicken itself was juicy and the basmati rice that came with it was fragrant and went well with the chicken and paste. Service was good! The workers were super nice and checked up on us multiple times. I am definitely coming next time to try the other items.

Yelp
We went here for an afternoon tea tasting The teas that I tried which were the love tea with rose,, saffron tea and ginger cinnamon tea... They were all absolutely great. They made a special vegetarian menu for us and served an egg sandwich, couple of pieces of olive bread with hummus, and a spinach spanakopita each. For sweets we were served a trio of pastries. The ambience was nice and so was the setup. An issue wa that all the savory was served at the same time followed by all of the sweets in the second half. So I was craving for something sweet in the first half and the second half was way too sweet for me. For the for the fairly high price the menu selection should have been more varied and interesting, and made in the kitchen, A couple of hot items or decadent deserts would have been nice versus . what we were served..., one can quickly pick up at the deli. So I wasn't too impressed. But was an interesting afternoon and the company sort of made up for it because it was a nice cozy ger together

Yelp
From the looks on the outside, you don't expect this place to be all that. But it IS and more! The inside decor makes you feel like you are in a Persian castle amongst royalty. The service is exceptional as well. I enjoyed the chicken kebab and ground beef koobideh. The rice and grilled vegetables were delicious. The dessert menu is extensive and has a variety of options - the lava cake melts in your mouth! They also have an exceptional selection of teas. Overall, extremely authentic and delicious. Will come again.

Yelp
I made reservations ahead of time at Chelokabibi Persian Cuisine and we arrived about 5pm. Upon entering, you can't help but notice how the ambiance was so beautifully set. There were still many tables available at 5pm but the restaurant started to get filled closer to 6pm. For drinks, I got to try the cucumber drink (sweet + refreshing w/real cucumber sliced thinly) and Mango Passion (thick, condensed, sweet yogurt drink), and a floral tea that came in a clear teapot with sugar in the form of a honey cube, and actual dried flowers infused in it (they looked like crystals). My favorite drink to start out with was the cucumber drink since I felt it was hydrating and I just really liked the flavor of it. The Middle Eastern Platter was the appetizer we chose since it was a mixture of a bit of everything. On the menu it's stated that it's for 3 to 4 people. We had 5 people sharing it, but it was more than enough for us since we all had drinks, entrees, and dessert too. Moving on to entrees, my favorite was the filet mignon entree that I ordered with half rice and half salad. I requested that it would be cooked to medium and it was perfectly juicy and tender. The salmon entree was also tasty, soft, and flaky as should be. The flavors were bursting and soooo very delicious! After dinner, we tried the affogato which was very creamy and enjoyable. I'd also highly recommend their chocolate baklava w/Saffron ice cream. The ice cream was extremely special and so very floral that we also ordered just the Saffron ice cream since we couldn't get enough of it. I honestly loved everything I've tried here at Chelokabibi and our group was also equally impressed with the taste and presentation of the drinks/food. I saw that they have afternoon tea/high tea service and I can't wait to be able to try it out another time!

Yelp
My girlfriends and I came here for the afternoon tea and it had everything and more! This is probably the most full we've ever been at an afternoon tea spot and we were excited to try Persian cuisine too. Tea: I like how we can select our own individual tea in a tea pot and there is a filter too. We all got different teas so we can try different ones. We also got shots of mango lassi too. Food: All the food was really good! The sauces and jams that came with each item complimented it well. We also got an enhancement of a soup called ash which tasted amazing and had a nice crispy texture to it too. There was a good balance of savory and sweet items which is surprising because most afternoon tea places have mostly sweet items. Ambiance: The workers were really friendly and answered any questions we had. I really like how they pace bringing out the food so we had time to enjoy each item and chat before the next one. There is a lot with several parking spots in the small plaza. HIGHLY recommend this spot for afternoon tea. Everything tasted great, the tea and the food.

Yelp
Came here on the recommendation of a friend. We were a party of 6 on a Thursday night. We got the impression that we might be turned away since we didn't have a reservation but we ended up getting a table no problem. I had the kebab koobideh which was tasty but I was longing for more sauce. The table had a green sauce with a bit of a kick, but overall it was kinda dry. Wouldn't mind coming back to try some different dishes.

Yelp
"We went to Chelokababi Persian Cuisine for Mother's day dinner, and the experience was absolutely delightful from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with elegant decor and a cozy atmosphere that made for a perfect setting to enjoy a hearty Persian meal. A bit of a line ahead of us though we got a spot as we had reserved one in advance. Parking can get a bit tight though if you wait it out a bit you can definitely grab a spot. We began with the Masto Mooseer, a creamy yogurt dip infused with finely chopped shallots. It was silky, tangy, and flavorful, perfectly complementing the freshly baked, warm lavash bread that was served alongside. This starter set the tone for the amazing dishes to come. The Middle Eastern Platter was a feast for the senses--a beautifully arranged assortment of appetizers, including falafel, hummus, and other traditional bites. Every item was fresh and bursting with flavor, offering a wonderful variety of textures and tastes. It was an ideal choice for sharing and a great introduction to the range of Middle Eastern flavors. For our main course, we ordered a mix of meat and vegetarian dishes, and every plate was exceptional: - Kabab Torsh: A true highlight of the evening! The tender chunks of beef were marinated in a tangy-sweet pomegranate molasses and walnut sauce, then grilled to perfection. The flavors were bold yet balanced, with a delightful smoky undertone from the grill. - Kabab Koobideh: This classic Persian dish of ground meat skewers was executed perfectly. The koobideh was juicy, well-seasoned, and tender, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. Paired with the fragrant saffron rice, it was simple yet unforgettable. - Vegetarian Gheymeh with Bademjoon: This hearty eggplant stew was rich and deeply satisfying. The slow-cooked eggplant paired beautifully with the savory tomato-based sauce, creating a dish full of comforting, complex flavors. Even as a vegetarian option, it was as indulgent and filling as the meat dishes. The portions were generous, and every dish was served hot and fresh. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. They also took the time to explain the menu and offered great recommendations, which enhanced our dining experience. Chelokababi Persian Cuisine is a treasure for anyone who loves authentic Persian food. Each dish was prepared with care and showcased a deep understanding of traditional flavors and techniques. We highly recommend this place for a memorable meal and look forward to coming back to explore more of their menu. Whether you're a fan of Persian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Chelokababi will not disappoint!"

Yelp
The kababs were great. I haven't had Persian food in a while. The food was refreshing and tasty I was impressed with their service and the ambience It has a nice vibe if you are looking for a dinner date! The server was knowledgeable and helped us choose our lunch Rice was a hit and miss .. I think my palate likes it more savory though not the restaurant's fault. Service and ambience is the reason I added a star!

Yelp
Such a lovely experience. Upon walking in, the decor was very Persian and I liked the dark lighting. Felt very family friendly and there was only a 20 minute wait for two on a Sunday night. For appetizer we ordered the kashko bademjan. This was my first time having this and I love eggplant so this was perfect. For mains we ordered tahdig, fesenjun and kabob koobideh. The kabob portion is big enough for two and we boxed up half of it to go! Super juicy. The tahdig was super crunchy and I enjoyed it extra with sumac. The fesenjun felt very heartwarming and nostalgic somehow. The persian tea is also delicious here. For dessert we had makhloot which was a combination of bastani and faloodeh. So refreshing, not too sweet, and delicious. Our server was very attentive and helpful as well. Excited to come back and try more!

Yelp
Whenever thinking of Persian food, this is always my choice. Walked in with 12 pm with reservation ( fortunately did it) the inside seating is almost all occupied. The restaurant keeps the traditional decorations, clean and cozy. Also the restaurant added outdoor seating with heating lamp. The bread butter appetizer is always fresh and delicious ( carb dose). Especially love the meat cooked here-- juicy , flavorful and fresh . Meanwhile the side has options for half salad and half rice, even knows salad is healthy, still don't want to miss their rice -- well seasoned and cooked well. Got super lucky to be there on the Persian new year day and I got very special treat from the beautiful owner -- lucky coin. The price is reasonable in the area, especially considering the service and food quality. Recommended for friends gathering, family or special occasions.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem. Me and my sister went here for the first time today. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful. The food is next level. The saffron tea was divine and I highly recommend trying it. Our Server was stellar. We got chicken breast kabob and beef koobideh, both were perfection. This came with rice that was divine. We completed our meal with an order of saffron ice cream, which was enough to share. We will definitely go back! Mashallah, this is an extraordinary dining experience.

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of Persian cuisine, and I think this place is one of the few places in the South Bay that does it well! This place is in this older strip mall. I went here once maybe back in 2013, then didn't really come back to it until several years later. I remember parking was way worse, but so far I suppose I've been lucky and managed to find some these recent visits. I recommend either their Koobideh or Joojeh, and their Vegetarian Combination Plate for the vegetarians out there. I remember their Joojeh being hella moist and juicy for being chicken. The Sekanjabin was great. I don't believe I've had this before, and it really surprised me. It tastes like pickling juice, which probably doesn't sound great for a drink, but it was oddly satisfying and paired very well with the rest of the meal. I do recommend ordering yogurt sauce with the meal, as a common feedback generally tends to be that the kebab plates (although well seasoned) can be pretty dry at times.

Yelp
I made a reservation for a birthday lunch - I told the lady I spoke to on the phone that it was for a birthday. When we arrived the table was not yet ready (and we arrived a little bit late). When our food came, none of us had spoons. When one of us asked, the server asked if other wanted a spoon also. I didn't know rice is eaten with a fork. When we finished our food, we were asked "do you want dessert?" Where is the birthday treat for the birthday person? We said no, and then we received our check. I had to ask "do you do anything for a birthday" (I already know they do). And the guy said yes we will bring something. We waited... and waited... and waited. Nothing. So we just walked out. And then as we're walking out, we were asked if we received the birthday treat. No we didn't... An automatic 22% gratuity was reflected on the receipt - the service didn't warrant anything close to that. If I was putting my own tip, it would have been very low. But instead we were charged equivalent to a meal for very subpar service. This place doesn't have good service because during your meal you'll have 5 different family members come up to your table. There's no designated servers to the tables from beginning to end. Lack of communication amongst the servers.

Yelp
Picked up take out and very happy with our meal. Ordered a Greek salad with an extra kebab, mixed kebab platter with extra pita, and a yogurt. It was enough for three adults and a kid! This is a small thing, but I was delighted that it came with little packs of sumac. TIP: it's tucked away behind a gas station and the dining room is beautiful!

Yelp
Omg once again it had been way too long since my return and this is absolutely and forever will be on my list as one of my all time favorite restaurants as it is "LAST MEAL GOOD".

Yelp
The ambiance is super nice inside. Came here on a friday evening and the wait wasnt too bad, maybe 15 minutes. I got the mango passion drink, but this is nothing but a mango lassi. I assumed there was passionfruit due to the name. My partner got the Sekanjebin and this was really interesting! I liked it way more than the mango passion. To start, we got the Mediterranean Trio to try each dip. Our favorite was the hummus and least favorite was the kashk bademjan. The appetizer comes with pita, and the server asked if we wanted more! This looked to be free of charge. And he came by again if we wanted even more pita, for which we had to decline. I got the bareh which is lamb and this was very flavorful. My partner got the gheymen and enjoyed it, although i didnt as much because it was kind of acidic. He took his to go and the server gave us extra rice in the to go container! Love that. Definitely will come back again

Yelp
This restaurant was very clean, the food service was good, and the quality and taste of the food were also nice. However, the portion size was quite small for the price--especially the rice portion, which was extremely small. For Iranian dishes that are usually eaten with rice, this amount just wasn't enough. Of course, I understand that in Canada, some people might prefer to eat less rice, but in my opinion, the menu should include an option to choose a larger portion of rice, so each person can decide how much they need based on their appetite.

Yelp
First time coming here to try the tea house for an afternoon tea with girlfriends. Loved the way they setup the back room completely separate from the regular restaurant. The ambiance was great and the setup is truly lovely and tastefully done. They only serve the afternoon tea F-Sun 2-5PM a per the server. We had made a reservation for the 3 of us a week in advance. By the time the tea section was full, there were 5 tables with diners. You have a great selection of tea, caffeinated and herbal, which is great. Being Persian, I love Persian tea, must say, I was VERY disappointed by the quality of the tea that was served as it didn't hVe the aroma and spices expected from the tea. The saffron tea was delicious and enjoyed mic Ng some of it with my Persian tea!! Made my own version of the saffron infused tea The afternoon tea came with 3 savory and 3 sweet items. The savory items included smoke salmon bites, feta/spinach triangles and mortadella wraps. The mortadella wrap was great and truly made you remember the wonderful Persian sandwiches, I would have preferred a KUKU or a kotlet bite instead of salmon, which would have been more authentic. The sweet platter included blueberry scones served with side of clotted cream and jams. This probably was the most disappointing part of the experience. Generally scones are the centerpiece of an afternoon tea. They were served cold and store bought!!! Served with the smallest amount of clotted cream and hams to serve 3 people!! We couldn't get even a small dollop of each item on our scone!!! There are add-one to the menu for extra charge that we didn't opt for, so I can't comment on that... My recommendation to the management, serve a quality of tea, make the scones and serve them warm, and please do not hold back on the sides for the scones as this is really the main part of most afternoon teas (that is if the experience is supposed to be like a traditional afternoon tea). For $55/pp, it was a good experience but fell very short of a great one.

Amazing persian food. Love the sabzi and the koobideh. I have not had a bad meal here and the ambiance is so intimate. It makes for a great date spot

Yelp
What a treat Chelokababi was :) I've only had Persian food a few times but for some reason I was craving some and I had remembered that a friend recommended Chelokababi to me a year ago. Came here on a Sunday night around 630 (no resys) and there was a 30-45min wait. Luckily, we were seated closer to 30 min after, and they gave us the little booths at the back of the restaurant. My partner and I shared one combo kebab with joojeh and koobideh and it was sooo good. The chicken was really tender, and the ground beef was flavorful. You have to get the spicy sauce, and side of onion! We also ordered a side of rice, and a green salad and I felt the amount of food was perfect for 2 people. Ended the dinner with baklava which was yummy and not too sweet. Ambiance is pretty lively and can see this being a cute date night spot. Will def be back! Service was good and attentive.

Yelp
We got take out from Chelokababi and it was so delicious. When I went to pick up the food I was sad we didn't eat in the restaurant--it looks so nice there like a fancy high tea party.

Yelp
Food is amazing at this place. I love everything I have tried at this restaurant. Starting from the tea, the meats so flavorful, very good marinated meats. Every time I have been there meats are always very good, same flavor! Their kebabs, rice and I specially love the salmon, so good! Kind service and place is beautiful and super clean!!!

Baubak B.

Yelp
Good ambiance, good food and good service. Barg kebab is good, but koobideh salty and somehow dry. Small rice portions. Cost high around $75.00 per person when you order side dishes.

Yelp
Afternoon tea for 2 day after Valentine's Day. Selection was just ok, I think my favorite item is the Persian cake & Persian chicken potato salad. I tried out the salmon bites and spinach/feta spanakopita, Persian chicken potato salad on brioche, noon chai, raspberry scones, Persian love cake and the dessert-assorted shirini- consisted of 2 macarons, 2 mini heart shaped sugar cookies, 2 mini chocolate dipped chocolate cookies. Teas: love tea & saffron. Both were delicious! The wait for the next course was pretty long, but it is to be expected since this is a busy restaurant + tea room and despite the long wait, we did meet the 2 hour time limit. I would like to try the restaurant eventually.

Yelp
The food was not as great then people say kinda shocking this was my first time i decided to try a new spot and to bring my husband who's not Persian and our children based on the reviews i thought it was going to be better then I expected I'm actually very disappointed I honestly wouldn't go there ever again. First- plate is very small and kabob had no flavor for the price you pay The environment setting is beautiful I have to say it's super cozy and adorable that's all the 2 starts is for and the waitress she was actually very sweet and nice The girl who checks people in she's very dry and rude first impression is important right? Well her behavior wasn't cute. The owner or owners son was unprofessional standing there by the entrance talking very loudly about his Personal life and sounded rude when someone was calling for an order. When it got busy it was very rude to rush your customers to LEAVE we reserved our seats and after an hour I'm not even done eating this guy comes grabs my plate and my babies plate which made him cry I was like ummm ok then my husband asked for a beer they took 10m to bring it then! When he wanted another one the same blonde rude girl came over umm you want another beer very rudely first of all we paid over 300!!!!! We can ask for more beer it was very upsetting because I was with my kids I shut my mouth otherwise that girl would have heard it from me! Way over priced for the amount of food there's many other places with better quality it's like white washed Iranian restaurant had no Iraninan seasonings And when wanted to order dessert again super rude and guy not the same waitress we liked brought it then with huffing and puffing he got our orders ohhh and we were not even DONE or didn't ask for the CHECk he bought it. Super rude never been to a place you send 300 dollars and they rush you out If you're going to reserve for your customers be mindful and respect them!!! Don't rush them out Idc if there's other people waiting it's very rude then don't reserve too many people I didn't seem much Iranians there so makes sense and if there is shocking because the food was crap! Sucks because I loved the decorations there I hope my review helps cus I was in shock and guess what!!!! We all have a big stomachache today!

Yelp
I love that this place has a lot of thought put into it. You can tell it's family owned and I love the details. The food was delicious.

Yelp
Ignore the small corner shopping center location, because this restaurant's style and food would easily fit into any other more upscale location. The interior is nicely designed with middle eastern items and touches to give it a warm and friendly ambiance. The staff is friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The food is delicious. A couple of off menu suggestions to try: Appetizers: ask for "tah-deeg " (a crispy rice with your choice of stew to give it extra flavor and soften it up a bit) which literally means the bottom of the pan. Main dish: try the "Mahi" (fish) kabob, but with Bahghali rice (green rice); really good combo. Otherwise, you really can't go wrong with any menu item; it's all terrific. Save room for dessert... something sweet to go with your cup of hot tea.

Yelp
Beautiful little Persian restaurant in Sunnyvale with excellent service and delicious food. I dined with a fellow vegetarian friend and we chose this place because the menu has a designated vegetarian section. We started with a glass of wine, and they were gracious enough to let her try two options before selecting one. I chose the vegetarian combination plate and she got the vegetarian gheymeh (a tomato-based stew). We both enjoyed our dishes, as well as the fresh pita that was delivered to the table. My favorite part was the kashk-o bademjan, a flavorful eggplant dip. The rice was perfect and the falafel were also fresh and tasty. We got the bastani (rose ice cream) and baklava for dessert. The ice cream was incredible, while the baklava was a little soggy. As we were leaving, we were told about the tea room in the back and got a little tour. It is adorable and we will definitely be making a reservation to go back for it.

Yelp
The food here is so good, but the doogh tho... omg... addicting makes you wanna come back everyday. The servers are super sweet, friendly and attentive. I also like how it's not super bright, it gives you a calm feeling while you enjoy your food.

Yelp
I came for their Chelo Tea House. It's the first time I heard of a Persian place having one. I learned about it from Instagram and I lover Persian food. It tastes more healthy. When I booked online at their restaurant website, it routes you to OpenTable and you make the reservation there. I know tea places usually start hours after lunch and I was surprised to see I could book 12:30pm. That was the ideal time my friend was able to make it. My friend got there first and the restaurant said that the website wasn't easy to navigate to the tea house reservation. The host said he heard that from another patron so they will have the website adjusted so it's easy for people to navigate to the right booking between the restaurant and tea house. Today I found the website was easy to find the tea house reservation. The host was kind enough to seat us in the restaurant while we waited for the tea house to open at 2:00pm. We order an appetizer to stave off the hunger. We ordered the samosas and they were delicious and my friend enjoyed the wine. The host came over often to see how we were doing. My friend had a wonderful time chatting with the host about the wine we learned was a vineyard they once had and this was now a memento and not open for use. Before 2:00pm, the host came and ushered us into the tea house room that was separate from the restaurant. The restaurant was decked out in Persian culture and going into the tea room, it was colorful like a tea room and decorations were of Persian culture. I quite like how pretty and well lit the place was. There was only one set menu. The service was excellent and the food and tea were beautifully made for us. The environment was peaceful and conversations were low. All stars! If you like high tea, the Persian restaurant did an exemplary job in doing this. It's definitely worth trying out. Book ahead as I found a lot of people enjoy tea rooms.

Yelp
I recently moved to the Bay Area and have been on the lookout for some good kabob. We ordered both the koobideh, joojeh, and mast mousir to-go Taste was great, but the price was incredibly steep. I'd definitely consider bringing my parents here when they come to visit as the interior of the restaurant was very beautiful. But for a monthly takeout run, I'll have to go somewhere cheaper. If price is not an issue, definitely give it a try, you'll love it!

Yelp
A lovely experience dining here Sunday night in their outdoor seating! Such quick service and super friendly staff who were very accommodative of our specific allergies. They only do ghormeh sabzi twice a week and we missed out on that but will be back to try it. The fesenjoon was really good, great balance of the sweet to salt flavours. I had never tried ghehmeh before and think that was one of my favorites from dinner. It has split pea or lentil with a meat, went well with the rice and pita. The cherry rice with the koobideh was so good! The eggplant dip we had in the beginning, I can't quite remember the name, was SO SO good. Definitely ask for that. Looks like they will be starting tea in September which seems highly worth coming back for personally.

Yelp
Very fast service...delicious food and very authentic flavors...chicken or beef there is no bad choices...nice ambiance but still accommodates for large parties...would recommend getting a whole bottle of wine instead of just the glass...reservations for large parties encouraged

Yelp
WHY WE WENT HERE: - dinner THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located in a small plaza off S Wolfe Rd and E Fremont Ave - located in the same plaza as Rajjot Sweets & Snacks THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - love the vibe and decor/architecture; some privacy for tables for 2 beyond the curved archways and other tables and chairs with Persian rugs underneath the glass tabletops - the vibe of someone's home and museum mixed together THE MENU: - appetizers - salads/soup/sides - vegetarian entrees - kabab entres - Chelokababi specials WHAT WE ORDERED: - kashko bademjan - dolmeh - combination kabab (chicken breast - koobideh) with half saffron rice and half salad - gheymeh with half saffron rice and half salad THE TASTE: - kashko bademjan is always a treat; very comforting - dolmeh; we were surprised it was steaming hot; I've only ever had it vegetarian so it was a nice surprise this came with ground beef; it was sweet and savory - combination kabab (chicken breast - koobideh) was very tender/juicy and well seasoned - I initially wanted the fesenjun but informed by the staff that they were out/didn't have it for the day so I settled for the gheymeh; I like lentils and beef but this had a gamey aftertaste for me I found unpleasant; I felt like I should have gone for the kababs to play it safe CUSTOMER SERVICE: - polite - attentive but not overbearing

Yelp
Amazing, delicious food as always! Service is fast and respectful and they always give large food portions. Enjoy coming here for family dinners.

Yelp
A magical place. Beautiful room, gracious service, consistently good Persian cuisine. All in a very mundane strip mall. I really like this place. One of my favorites in the area.

Yelp
This place is hands down one of the best Persian restaurants I've been to! Food quality is always consistent and service is overall pretty good. I've tried a few items on the menu but typically order The Shish Kabob - Joojeh - Koobideh because I like different meat options! They are generous with portion size and everything is prepared very well- super fresh and you can tell they care about quality. The rice is SO good, one of the best! Ambiance is pretty casual but you can definitely dress up as well. They are located in a small shopping plaza so parking can be a little rough but overall pretty easy to find a spot. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Yelp
As much as I loveee this place & their food, service is so slow. Takes so long just to get seated and we waited quite a while for our food too. When we had gotten there, it wasn't too busy and there were plenty of open tables. There was a line forming in the waiting area because they kept passing by us and not checking anyone in. I had reservations so we were seated but that whole process took about 15-20min. In regards to service, towards the end of the meal we were packing dishes in to go boxes and as I was doing so, they were taking dishes with our food away...It was very obvious they were trying to rush us out but was really inconsiderate considering we hadn't left the table yet and also was still trying to pack the food they were taking from us. We hadn't stayed long either since we were only there for 45 min. The food is delicious & I've been here a couple of times. The rice was buttery & sweet & the meat was so juicy. We ordered the shish Laban's w/ half rice & half salad. The dressing on the salad was a bit sour. I'd opt to get all rice next time. Parking is not an issue, but really hope their service improves...

Yelp
Overpriced. Meat tastes good very tender, But $30 for about 4-6 oz meat and unedible over grilled veggies which may cause cancer
