Excellent brewery inside of Stanley Marketplace! I had the Chupa Guava Blonde Ale and shared a beer flight with my hubs. Very low key and casual place. I really like they have non alcoholic options as well. They had an Oktoberfest beer when we went and we sampled it. So tasty!

Google
Highly recommend. Great find and a hidden gem in the Stanley Market (although no longer hidden). Great owners and overall an awesome place to grab a drink. I hosted my sister a (co-ed) baby shower here (~50 adults / 12 children). We reserved the second floor mezzanine area for 3 hours. We were able to come in early to decorate the space and set up the food. The space was perfect for the event. We had tables for those that wanted to sit as well as some high tops for mingling and standing. It was perfect. Jennifer and the Cheluna team were incredibly easy to work with, super responsive, and their beer is awesome!! We catered food from Boychik and Rolling Smoke. Highly recommend their place for an event and/or to grab a beer from. My husband really enjoyed their IPA and I really liked their Mexican Lager.

The Cheluna crew went out of their way to make my special event memorable! It was so easy to plan and arrange for the caterer, and the drinks were awesome. I also love the small business vibe that made the entire event more intimate and personable. Thank you so much for being wonderful people! I’ll certainly be coming back if I plan any future events!

Visited this past weekend after a week long road trip in the mountains. We hadn’t been in the city and the Stanley was recommended. We figured a beer sounded great and walked into this place. We were immediately greeted with a warm smile from Ervin (hope the spelling is right). He was so friendly and welcome and came right over as we took seats at the bar. The vibrant colors were nice and a wonderful selection of beers. I opted for the michelada and my husband chose their award winning Luna Nueva Lager. He loved the Luna Nueva but man oh man - the michelada was the real winner. In Texas, we have great micheladas but the michelada here was INCREDIBLE! BETTER THAN ANY MICHELADA I’VE EVER HAD! We were a little sad they didn’t have chapulines to try but gives us a reason to return one day. This was a wonderful treat for us - hit all 3 marks - great service, great setting, great beer! Check this place out next time you’re at the Stanley.

My husband and I went to Cheluna Brewing Company for the first time. As soon as we walked in, we felt like we came home. It is so inviting and warm and comfortable. We had a couple of flights. And ALL the beers were fabulous!!! The staff are all so attentive and friendly. The decor is spot on. If you want to go somewhere where you feel you belong, Cheluna is the place!!!!

Google
A great spot that we've been to multiple times over the years. Biggest attraction is the ability for everyone in your party to choose from some great food options within Stanley Marketplace to buy and bring in the brewery to eat - tacos, empanadas, sushi, BBQ, biscuits and more. Range of beer choices has been above average, but would like to see some more creative IPAs and sours.

Amy Pond

Google
Amazing Brewery! I had the Snowbird Hefeweizen, it was delicious and very creative! If you prefer a classic, get the Orizaba Cold IPA, it won a medal at the Beerfest for a reason! The atmosphere is casual and inviting, I love that you can bring in your own food from some of the other vendors in the Stanley.

Google
Wow this place was awesome! Inside of the Srapleton marketplace with plenty of food choices. Lots of TVs to watch football. At least 10 of their beer choices on the menu sounded great! Unfortunately can only fit so many down and still drive home so I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Have been a couple of times before this review and still have to say, Cheluna is a great place to get some home brewed beers. While I am not a beer drinker by any means, I did give the Cabo Coconut Lime Sour a try. At Cheluna, they cater to many different tastes and offer hard seltzers as well as sangria and margaritas in addition to a wide array of beers. The Cabo Coconut Lime Sour was a collab with another brewing company. This was a good selection for me as a novice brewery goer. Cheluna is located in the center of Stanley Marketplace and is hard to miss. Cheluna does not have any food, save a few snacks, but you are welcome and encouraged to bring in food from one of the many vendors in Stanley Marketplace or from wherever really. Cheluna also has live music on most Friday evenings. It is a happening place. The employees are very kind and do a great job at recommendations for the newbies. Will go again and again I am sure of it!

Yelp
CHEEEEEEELUNNNAAAA!!! Love this place ... Embodies all the Mexican culture , the feel, but over all the beer. I had to have a Michelada and let me tell you , IT HIT THE SPOT !! They have TVs for all you sport enthusiasts!! The staff was super great great .. very sweet and recommending different types .. Love the attention and passion they had for this place Without a doubt coming back!!

Yelp
I've done previous reviews on this lovely spot, but wanted to add a review specifically for their private event space. We've rented their mezzanine several times in the last five years for private events, and the staff and owners are SO great to work with. Our most recent event was a family party with 100+ people coming and going. They added cocktail tables out on the balcony and lots of chairs and tables to accommodate our large group. We also had tables set up for the food that we brought in (a big DIY charcuterie/grazing table). It was the perfect space for our gathering and everyone commented on what a festive place it was.

Michael A.

Yelp
Been to Stanley Market tons of times over the years but had not tried Cheluna until recently and ended coming back a week later. I thought it was hard to compete with the Stanley Beer Hall located immediately next to them but I found their beer and seltzer top notch and more importantly, cheaper than their next neighbors beers. Good mix of Year-Round and Season choices. My favorite was the Orizaba IPA that received recognition from Great American Beer Festival. They had sports on a couple tvs and when we came back on a Saturday night, they had a live band. They allow you to bring your own food into the place and with so many choices in Stanley, this is a great place for a meal and beer.

Jessica O.

Yelp
This is a great brewery to check out if you like beers with more fruity hints. I absolutely loved their coconut bomb beer. I also got their sangria hard seltzer. That one I was expecting more from. It just was not as tasty as I had expected. I also tried their blonde ale. This was good! The staff were attentive and quickly helped us. Great atmosphere while we were there. They had a drummer and a saxophone player jamming out! It has two floors so plenty of seating for anyone coming in. Tip: You can also get their beers to go and walk around the rest of the market! Definitely worth checking out if you are in the Stanley Market!

Brandie P.

Yelp
Fun spot with interesting beers and really cool vibe. Staff is so nice and offers insight and tastings to find the right drink for you!

Alden C.

Yelp
Cheluna Brewing Company probably had one Mexican Lager that was probably my favorite on a recent trip to Colorado. After a string of breweries and a string of Mexican Lagers at some of them the one I had here at Cheluna was the most memorable. The Lowrider Mexican Lager is what I had and I could have easily have had more than one it was so good. I also really liked the atmosphere and the shopping center it was in. The whole experience was just great! Flavor highlights with the beer that I had a clean, crisp flavor with a touch of breadiness. It was subtle and smooth as well. Sometimes having a "subtle" feature can make other ingredients too watered down and not well balanced but that was absolutely not the case here at all. I'd love to return when time allows to get that Lager again at least but also explore the untried beer options.

Yelp
First let me start by saying I love to travel and find breweries that I'm in love with and Cheluna is one of them. I didn't even realize they were inside the Stanley Marketplace but I'm glad I found them. My boyfriend and I waited for them to open since we did get there early. We were the first ones inside so we sat at the bar and got a flight. Most people have a beer style they gravitate too, mine being blondes, sours, hefes, and saisons. There wasn't one beer here I didn't love. ANY STYLE. The flight came with 6 beers. I got the Coco-Xoco, salted caramel Vienna lager, chupa guava, chilango, pink flamingose, and snowbird Hefeweizen. All of them had punchy flavors, smooth body style, and really just hit the nail on the head with what I want from my beers. They were so enjoyable to drink. The interior was cute, I loved the bright colors and murals. Cheluna was a joy to experience. Their merchandise was great as well. The bartender was friendly, he recommended we mix the chocolate stout with the salted caramel Vienna lager and that was incredible! You can't go wrong coming here!

Kaysey A.

Yelp
Such a cool brewery! By far the best beer in CO! The vibe is great and the location is convenient.

Ariel B.

Yelp
Love their beers here - my favorite is the Chamango with Tajin on the rim of the glass. Learned today that you can bring in food from any of the vendors so that was awesome - my husband and I got to get whatever food we each wanted and then enjoy it with our beers together. Service is good, you just order at the bar. Ambiance is fun, they had different games on the TVs so we enjoyed that.

Edie A.

Yelp
Cheluna is a great place to grab a beer and listen to live music. I always enjoy their Coco-Xoco Porter, a sweet medium porter. Go to the bar to order your drinks. Outside beverages aren't allowed, but food from other businesses is. I appreciated the proactiveness of the bartender. When he saw another customer aggressively trying to interact with me and my friend at our table, the bartender came over immediately, checked on us, and called security to have him and his friend escorted out. Thanks, Cheluna, for taking care of your customers in more ways than providing us with your delicious chelas.

Kearstin E.

Yelp
Genuine friendly service. They're known for GABF award-winning beers. Personally, the mangonada was superb- sweet, but with a punch that sneaks up on you. A+ all the way. Plenty of room that it doesn't feel cramped though it looks small at first. It would be cool if they had some appetizers on the menu because the brewery outside looks that much more appealing, still I'd come back.

Cassandra C.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and great beer at Stanley marketplace. A great place to meet up with friends and self order at the bar and seat yourself to chat. No food served here. I appreciate not only their wide range of flavors, including fruitier beers which is my preference, but also their wide range of sizes. You can go mega or you can go tiny.

Annette T.

Yelp
This brewery is located within Stanley Marketplace. I've been here 4x, and every time, the beer and service is great. I also love that the whole building has wifi so I can drink a beer while I get stuff done on my laptop. This is going to be a regular place for me!

Eddie C.

Yelp
First off, I love to see Latinx owned breweries prosper. It gives me a warm feeling to see my people succeed. The brewery is beautiful, the decor is great and the vibe is great. I got a flight of beers. Half were great and the other half not so much. The Coco-Xoco was hands down one of the worst beers I've ever had, but that's mostly my fault since I hate pastry stouts and the lager wasn't good either. But the Chupa Guava and Chilango saved the night, both excellent beers. I wish nothing but the best for this brewery.

Marvin O.

Yelp
I stopped by for a drink and wow is all I can say! The drinks were amazing I had a Mexicali IPA! I'm not sure if they serve food. The ambiance was awesome very Mexican inspired and colorful! The service was fast and friendly with plenty of suggested drinks. If you have been here I definitely recommend and while you're at it check out the market place.

Chris C.

Yelp
Fun Fact: "Inspired by the culture and flavors of Oaxaca, Mexico, Cheluna is the first Latin-owned Mexican craft brewery in Colorado!" (cheluna.com) Located in the Stanley Marketplace, Cheluna remains one of my favorite spots to grab a beer. I love the various flavor profiles and the cutting-edge combinations they come up with. I really enjoyed the Salted Caramel Vienna Lager. With a sweet and savory twist, an easy 5.2% ABV, and a gentle 15 IBU, this beer drinks right in the middle of the light to dark continuum. The vibrant space and welcoming staff completes the great experience at this micro brewery.

Alisa J.

Yelp
Never been a fan of slushy alcoholic drinks that aren't a frozen margarita because of the weird slushy texture that's often with seltzer and cider but the slushy seltzer here was amazing! We tried the mango and lemonade ones and they were so so good. The mango had a stronger flavor than lemonade but we still enjoyed both. I love this brewery in Stanley marketplace so much and we will be back. Service was quick and I love the decor.

Steph B.

Yelp
"Inspired by the culture and flavors of Oaxaca, Mexico, Cheluna is the first Latin-owned Mexican craft brewery in Colorado and a lively community gathering place located in the Stanley Marketplace." All beers except for 3 are gluten reduced! (Check out their menu for more details). A friend and I sat up at the bar on a Saturday night and we're served almost immediately. The bartenders were all very nice and very attentive. They had a live band at the time, even though we sat right next to the band my amiga and I were still able to hear one another so that was great! You're able to bring your food from other vendors inside Cheluna and they have additional seating on the West side of Stanley Market if you'd like to take your drink out to the patio. I always enjoy my time at Cheluna, and as a Oaxacan, I'm always on the hunt for Oaxacan inspired venues. Check out their website for events!

Frank S.

Yelp
Went for an event in their upstairs party space. Very warm colorful space. Tried two different types of their beers and both were good. Bartender was nice & quick.

Carolina H.

Yelp
This was our second time here and just like the first time, it was awesome!! There was a live band and a party upstairs but even with a packed house, staff was super attentive and friendly. This place is located inside the Stanley market place so there are a ton of restaurants you can order food from. Totally recommend!! 10/10

Dawn G.

Yelp
I have been going to Cheluna Brewing Co for a couple months now. The frozen fruit seltzer was so good and refreshing in the heat. I am not much of a beer person, but I was a waitress for many years and love this business. It's a very vibrant, energetic venue with seating both up and downstairs and while they don't serve food they allow it to be brought in. There is a large variety of restaurants around them as they are set in Stanley Marketplace. The place is busy but the drinks are served very quickly. So I don't drink beer but I did try the coco - choc Porter which was very smooth . Also I do have issues walking up and down the stairs and the owner- Jennifer was very accommodating. Thank you Jennifer and staff you are what true service looks like.

Kevin P.

Yelp
Great tasting beers and friendly people! Always enjoy coming here when I visit Denver.

Angelica B.

Yelp
This place was super cute. First time here and their mangonada was delicious. I forgot what beer I picked but it was a local one and it satisfied my craving for a mangonada for sure! I was hungry and was able to order food across the way and had it delivered to my table here! CLUTCH Awesome place to watch a game at for sure! Go Lightning lol. For those beer lovers, this place is a must.

Jessie M.

Yelp
This place has an awesome upstairs room that you can rent for free. We rented it for my daughter's 5th birthday party. The adults could drink beer from the bar and the kids had a great time opening presents. The staff was attentive and super friendly. 5/5 stars!

kevin h.

Yelp
Lots of styles and even some award winners in the mix. Excellent location and atmosphere, great to be able to grab one to go for the market. There's also often entertainment for people who's want to sit down. Not in to some of the weird stuff on tap, but I guess that's the audience. They make up for it in overall taps and lots of solid hitters in well-established styles for microbrew heads.

Christian B.

Yelp
I went to the Stanley Marketplace for a business meeting. Afterwards we headed to Cheluna for a drink. I ordered a beer called the Lowrider II, it was a good and tasty amber colored Mexican lager but service was slow and mediocre, it looked like they only had one bartender that was running the whole place. Nice interior and ambiance that paired well with the atmosphere that the Stanley provides.

Keanna M.

Yelp
I got a lime alcoholic seltzer and my husband got the Mexican lager. Both were refreshing and delicious! The seltzer was something like 6% ABV which was surprising because it tasted very lightweight. It wasn't very sweet, but I think they had another flavor that was described as sweeter if that's your preference. It's located in the Stanley Marketplace so it was cool to drop in, get a drink, then keep walking and exploring the Stanley Marketplace.

Jessica J.

Yelp
I wish I had photos from here but I just don't haha. I really enjoy going to Stanley for Cheluna specifically! This Brewery is unique being in a good hall, but also providing so many different kinds of activities for members of different communities to engage in. I feel comfortable here and appreciate the all around kind staff. I'm sad that I don't live in the area anymore, but will definitely take the time to visit when I can! Follow their IG to keep up with what events they've got going on. :) Oh, and after you get a little beer drunk, there's plenty of options to choose from and eat, which is always a plus.

Dana W.

Yelp
Laid back brewery located in the Stanley marketplace. I thoroughly enjoyed the live music which wasn't too loud and overbearing. There are a lot of choices to choose from and you can take your beer to go and keep on shopping. Will definitely come back and shop and drink again!

Juliann J.

Yelp
great beer, nice staff, good location! seltzers are really good too. be sure to visit while at Stanley!

Rick T.

Yelp
Drink your beers here or while you shop at Stanley Market. I suggest you double fist and carry 2 drinks as the beer I had tasted great !

T. C.

Yelp
Great beers with a wide selection. Fun, relaxed atmosphere with fun original art. Live music!

Crissa P.

Yelp
The beer is always flavorful and fresh. My husband and I have enjoyed beers here many times. It's a very festive and low key/relaxing place to enjoy a few craft brews. There's an upstairs area as well, if you'd like to sit further away from the bar or people watch on the second level. While they do offer some pretzels, you're also welcome to bring in outside food from the other vendors at Stanley Market.

Marz C.

Yelp
Traveled from IL to visit my sister - Her and her gf love this place, and I can see why! I was highly impressed with the variety of styles of beer they serve, but even more the fact that they were all delicious! I highly recommend coming here and trying all of their beers! My favorite beer was the Chilango. Bonus - my husband and I got to meet owners Javi and his lovely wife Jen. They were so animated and kind, hard not to fall in love with them. I will definitely come back here next time I visit Denver. The staff were all so knowledgeable and friendly. They also had some amazing art decorating their walls. (Of course we took a few bottles/cans home to help celebrate Xmas)

Ruth C.

Yelp
Not so impressed with the service, or lack of service, here. I had no idea you have to wait in line at the bar to get a beer? It wouldn't be so bad if there were folks serving it to match it being a Friday night! What is sad is that there were more people standing in line than sitting at the tables. :( The service model here matches fast food restaurants where the tables are here just to sit at after you get your beer or food from some other outside place (they don't serve food here, just beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks). We had to clear our table off ourselves. Throwing away the previous groups icky pizza boxes, dirty napkins. ewww. Come on folks, you knew there wasn't table service here! Guess I know what to expect now. Going beyond how to get the beer and seats, the best part was the actual unique beers (love their coco-chocco) and the music/acoustic guitarist, Lindsey Saunders who was playing there. These two factors bumped up the stars from 2 to 4. I love acoustic guitar and saw her on Cheluna's calendar of events. Her unique songs were fresh, energetic and have a great rhythm. Her cover songs sounded so much better than the original musicians. Looking forward to hearing her again soon. But in the meantime I bought her CDs on iTunes. :) I would definitely return again. Their Belca Con Passion was my second fav. Maybe we will catch another cool new musician playing!

Danielle P.

Yelp
Love the beer here! Also, enjoy seeing Hugo behind the bar. He is so attentive and truly knows the beer. They also have live music and support healthcare workers. Great spot to hangout.

Carly W.

Yelp
After feasting in some tasty tacos from Comida it's safe to say I was feeling thirsty. Lucky me! Cheluna Brewing Co. is located conveniently across the hallway. The Space: Love it! The bright colors, the patterned tile backsplash, and the stamped metal lanterns are all great. There's quite a bit of seating; which I'm sure fills up fast on Friday nights! They even have a piano and feature live music occasionally. Fun! There seems to be an additional area upstairs. I'm not sure if this is seating or just access to their brewing equipment. The Service: The beertenders on both my visits so far have been friendly and most helpful. They struck up friendly conversation, even though both times I was just purchasing a flight of tasters and brought the tablet over to my table to ring up my order. The Brews: I've tried a handful of their offerings. I must say I really enjoyed the Coco-Xoco Porter (it was much lighter than I expected), La Morena (German style Hefeweizen with tasty clove notes), and Belga Con Pasion (Belgian saison infused with passion fruit). I was hoping to try the Hibiscus Lager, but unfortunately they were out of that one during both my visits. I'd def recommend getting a few samples to try before committing to a full pint to ensure you find a beer that suits your tastes. You know, Cheluna is def a newer brewery to the growing micro-brewery market here in Colorado. I'll be most curious to see how they change and grow. So far so good!

Celia G.

Yelp
Beer is so delicious. Carmen was truly a delight and one of the sweetest bartenders I've ever had

K C.

Yelp
My team at work often visits another establishment while I have been frequenting Cheluna. A couple of days back, I asked them to join me at cheluna with the following promise: I won't disappoint you with the quality of beers [I love ipas and they are larger fans], and Hugo would take good care of us. They doubted a bit but as this was a holiday friday and especially busy! Parking took a ton of time and the line was long.... Hugo, however, was amazing. Called each of my teammemmbers by name when they came up to order and made their first experience 5 stars. Thanks, Hugo. The whole team is planning our next excursion..

Katie F.

Yelp
You know, as much as I love the concept of Stanley, I wasn't impressed by this brewery at all. Sure, the atmosphere was relaxed and chill (they had live music!), and the décor is very bright with patterns you'd see in Mexico, but the beer was just plain - weird. We ordered a variety of brews - the Mexican Lager, hibiscus lager, a few ipa's and a stout - all of which were decent, but nothing memorable. my ipa had SO much hops (and I do understand that has insane hops), but this was almost too much to stomach! while the lagers were light, they didn't embody that much flavor, leaving us with little taste to really enjoy. In fact, we didn't even finish our beers before leaving. Pricing is about $6 a beer, which isn't too steep, unless the beer isn't' that great! :/ Best part: the staff. everyone was super friendly in taking our orders ,and even let a few of us sample the brews before ordering them! I know I'll venture back to Stanley, but not sure I'll return here :/

B H.

Yelp
Cool spot. On the far corner of where you think it is inside of this maze. Beer is okay. Not great. Didn't love the tenders attitude either. With so many options for craft brew in the area, probably wouldn't go back. But if you are in the food mall as I call it, it is convenient to get a brew here.

Jessie W.

Yelp
We stumbled upon Cheluna because of the live musician they had. We were just strolling through the market when we heard the most beautiful voice - come to find out it was a 15 year old with huge talent! Now, I am not the biggest fan of beer, so initially I figured my friends would have a drink and I would just enjoy the music, but at the bar, the friendly bartender asked what I did drink and suggested a couple options for me to try. In fact, I ended up trying several different sours and other types and found a few that were delicious! I really appreciate that they took their time and even got excited to give me samples. Cheluna does not serve food, but you can bring your own from the many options in the market. It has a cool ambience, great music and helpful staff - winning all around!

Chris J.

Yelp
Stopped by with friends for a quick beer. Surprising we were able to take the drinks with us outside into the market to walk around. Bar tender was very nice and quick with our order. The atmosphere was pleasing too!

Alexandra D.

Yelp
Thank you to the friend that recommended this place because I fell in love instantly. The flavors are just great! Not a beer snob but my hubby is and if he approves then it has to be good :) . Salted caramel and coco xoco my favorite.their service is great too. We arrived at a time when they were not very busy so it was super quick. They are part of a marketplace so there's all sorts of little local places both food and drinks and other type of stores (even a gym) located around the brewery. Right across the Maria Empanada place. So come down, get a beer, grab some food and walk around see what you can find. There's a small farmers market here on Friday from what I gathered so really neat place :) Hopefully they will bring one closed to my side of town cause I had to travel all the way to Stapleton for this deliciousness.

Annie M.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Javi, Travis, Hugo, and Isac are the absolute BEST. Beer is soooo good...I hear the ESB is very authentic. I personally love the IPA's...the Lupita is super good!

Kynton C.

Yelp
I've been waiting to post my review on Cheluna because I wanted to make sure that I actually love this place on its own merit, and not just because it's the first of many new hangouts to the NW Aurora and Stapleton. Turns out, I actually love the beer here. The Belga Saison is my favorite. Lots of flavor but not too heavy. I also really like the Palida IPA even though I'm usually not a huge IPA fan. The brewery is very cool. Bright colors, foosball table, and garage doors on the main floor that open up to the main Stanley Marketplace walkways. There's a decent amount of seating compared with most other breweries. However, since there's currently not much competition for Happy Hour in NW Aurora and Stapleton, the seating fills up quickly on Friday evenings. I am really excited to have Cheluna in my 'hood. I can't wait to mosey on over for a nice cool drink on a hot summer day.

Ella B.

Yelp
Love this place! Great beer selection and cool vibe. For sure my favorite business at the Stanley. Try the Chilango and have them add a Tajin rim.
