Absolutely loving having Cherries in East Nash neighborhood and writing this review after visiting this place 4-5 times, including evenings and nights, weeknights and weekends. 1. PARKING: if you live in this neighborhood or hang out here, you know how hard it is to find parking, be in five points area or Main Street. I do appreciate that they always have plenty of parking available. 2. BEVERAGES: they have combo offers on a board that’s on the left wall of the bar that’s easy to miss. I saw it the first time after placing my order and wish saw it sooner. Be on a lookout for daily special and combo orders. I loved their special the strawberry 🍓 lemon-cello frose that was created by one of the bartenders. They do have some bar bites but I never got to try them. 3. Staff: they’re busy but they do ensure they quickly get to your order and are extremely friendly and helpful with your questions. 4. Vibe: that’s the best part. No matter when you go, this place is always 🔥 lit. Evenings are beautiful on their patio and night time red ambient lighting is a vibe. The decor and lighting is definitely a mood. 5. Seating area: plenty of seating area indoor, outdoor and a covered outdoor patio on rainy days. They can accommodate groups of all sizes. Overall, I’m so impressed that I went there already a few times. The only reason I didn’t go for 5/5 is that I have had better cocktails before. They can work on improving that area to create some unique cocktails that bring people back to them again and again. I do like that they have zero-proof menu as well.

I've been going to Cherries for years due to their elevated cocktail choices and great ambiance (especially summer... patio is best in the city). However, I think of it as my neighborhood bar because of the people. Ownership, management, staff - this place is a well-oiled machine and is consistent across the board as far as quality and service goes. In particular, Morgan has been the best smiling face to come visit and always has her wit and humor to accompany her kindness. She's an absolute treasure to the bar and a key reason why I always come back. Fantastic drinks and professionalism through and through. Try to make her laugh - it's the best laugh in the biz.

Came to cherries for martini Monday with my girlfriends. Had great drinks and great food. Martinis are $8 till close for the Monday special. Bartenders are friendly and are accommodating to your drink style. Will definitely be back.

I just love Cherries! One of my FAV East Side neighborhood bars. Inside is a vibe with plenty of plants and cute swanky furniture. The bartenders remember you and always make you feel welcomed. Outside feels like you’re being transported to a little Italian patio. Frozen margs and chips and guac are perfect for all seasons. 10/10!

Cherries is hands down one of the best spots downtown! The drinks are absolutely delicious, crafted with care and full of flavor. The environment is super clean and inviting, which really adds to the overall experience. The food? Amazing. Not only is everything tasty, but the portions are generous and the prices are surprisingly affordable. You definitely get more than your money’s worth. What really stood out, though, was the staff. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do, and their energy makes the place feel warm and welcoming. They helped make the whole night even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Cherries if you’re looking for a good time, great drinks, and quality food in a fun, upbeat setting!

LOVEEEE cherries. Such a good vibe and the staff is amazing. I love finding bars that you can sit and chill at and this is a perfect spot for that. And their gimlets are amazing. Make sure you go see Morgan she’s the best bartender!!!

I am glad to have this place in the neighborhood. I've been a few times with family and friends and even hosted my bday party there. Each time the drinks are perfect, the vibes are high, music is JUST the right volume even with the DJ present and the staff is smilin. They even come out and have a little laugh with you and your crew from time to time. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners and he made it so easy and chill for me to host my party, 10/10 experience. There's also something low key sexy about the interior, so date night you can definitely pull off. But the exterior feels a little boho for friends or co-workers and they've got heaters for the chilly nights! If you haven't pulled up yet, do it. Cherries team, we want some hot sauce for the wings, ok? Give the ppl some hot sauce (Louisiana preferably), lol.

Come here for a drink with friends! I loved the buck cherry! Would come back for that drink alone but their other cocktails are also great. The prices are reasonable and they have nightly specials. There is an enclosed courtyard and outdoor bar as well. It can get busy on weekends but plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and we were about to grab a table within 10-15 min of getting our drinks.

I've been a cherries fan my whole life. In true millennial fashion, I decked out my first car and flip phone with cherry decor (insert nerd emoji)! I also just got back from a trip to Michigan where I enjoyed all kinds of cherry-flavored treats from Cherry Republic. I say all this to preface my review by admitting I might be a bit of a cherry snob. So when I heard about Cherries in East, I was genuinely thrilled. I pictured a cherry-forward cocktail bar filled with a full list of creative drinks that celebrated cherries. Unfortunately, that isn't what J experienced. To be fair, the space is absolutely gorgeous. The moody red lighting, lush greenery, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating creates a very decadent vibe. It's the kind of place you want to fall in love with. But I was honestly surprised by how few cherry-themed options were on the menu. I ordered the one cocktail with cherry in the name, the Buck Cherry, and had it made with Four Roses after a great chat with the bartender. It was light, flavorful, and refreshing. My only disappointment was the garnish - a basic maraschino cherry. For a bar called Cherries, I had hoped for something a little more special. A Luxardo, a Woodford Reserve, or even the Amarena cherries from Trader Joe's would have added a touch of richness and intention. Instead, it felt like something I'd get at a chain restaurant. If you're going for ambiance and aesthetic alone, this place delivers. But if you're hoping for a true cherry-themed experience, you might leave a little underwhelmed, like I did. I didn't try the food, so I can't speak for that. I may return, the prices were fair, esp. for Nashville.

This is such a cool bar. They have happy hour 5-8 weekdays and it's pretty good. The guac was delicious. The chicken was tasty but I should have informed them to fry it hard. The bar tenders were very attentive. They have these cool devices that keep bugs away if they fly indoors. They have a patio that opens to outside. Parking is free and the lot is big. Drinks were perfect. I'll be back for sure!

Cherries is such a fun spot in Nashville! Service was great and the sultry cherry-red theme sets the perfect vibe. We tried the Before Sunset and Buck Cherry cocktails along with fresh guac and chips--everything was delicious. The outdoor area is spacious and adds to the ambiance. Definitely worth a visit!

This place quickly became one of my favorite girls night out cocktail bars. I love it because it's not in the middle of the hustle and craziness of downtown and Broadway. If you're a local looking for a place where you can truly just hang out without all the tourist this place is great! Also if you're visiting and your Airbnb is nearby, I highly recommend this place as a pregame spot before you head downtown. The cocktails are beautifully crafted and taste so good & Their small bites have yet to disappoint! The bartenders are always really nice and you never feel like you have to fight or beg for their attention. They make it a point to get to everyone, which is something that I absolutely love!

Bottomless Mimosas?? Say less. No photos to prove those but the margaritas and the espresso martinis are top-notch. Cherries has a great outdoor indoor ambience. I'm excited to go back and see what it's like at night.

Cherries has a cool and chill vibe and is a great addition to this side of town. I really liked the patio, there's a covered patio and an open patio. Also indoor seating. Lots of space and tables were spread out. Good for a large party. I wanted to get the frozen passion coquito but they didn't have it and instead had a frozen cherry drink (hence the name of the place haha) and that was pretty good and refreshing. Normally I'm not a huge Cherry flavor person but this was really good. Food was okay, I'd probably skip the food and just get drinks and chill. I got the pesto chicken panini with cheese and it came with a side of chips. The panini was nicely pressed, but the flavor was just alright.

They have a great patio for the warmer weather but also have fir pits for the cooler nights. They have cherry themed drinks but that won't limit you to get your favorite classic drink - since they have a full bar. The food is where they lost me, I have gotten their chips and guac and was not to wowed. Parking: they have a decent size lot but there are other business that you can park into front since they are closed at night.

The best happy hour menu in Nash!!! So impressed with this place and the staff are all so friendly. Spacious interior and expansive patio with a second bar outside. One of the best spots to avoid downtown craziness and have a great night!! Plus, there's a large free parking lot on site.

I'm a simple woman... I see anything Cherry, I'm there. What a wonderful addition to the ever-evolving Dickerson Pike. Cherries is a fantastic bar with delicious, reasonably priced drinks and quite a large food menu to accompany it! I stopped in for happy hour with a friend on a weekday and sat at the bar. Their happy hour pricing and options are some of the best in the city IMO. The bartenders are friendly, service is fast, and the ViBe is unmatched. If you're looking for a place to hangout with friends, your next date night spot, or somewhere chill to take out of towners, Cherries is the spot!

What a vibey new bar off of Dickerson Pike! I was so excited to check out this cute spot on the edge of East Nashville, and I can definitely see myself returning again soon. My husband and I stopped in around 6 p.m. on a Thursday, right as their happy hour was ending. I'm definitely noting this for next time - because their drink and food specials sounded great, and run from 4 - 6 p.m. on weekdays. The interior is beautiful and intimate - with low, red-tinted lighting and lots of viney plants, comfy couches, and unique decor. The music was fun and full of throwback pop hits - albeit a bit loud right near the bar. I love that much of the menu embraces the theme of the bar with several cherry-flavored offerings. I ordered the "Buck Cherry," which kind of reminded me of a smokey, not-too-sweet Shirley Temple. My husband tried the "Say Goodbye to Summer," which he said he liked, but that it was just a bit too sweet for him. We also sampled some food - and especially enjoyed the Small Batch Guacamole. You could tell it was freshly made, and it paired well with the salty chips. We also ordered the Wood-Roasted BBQ Wings, and the Double Burger, both of which tasted fine, but were nothing to write home about. Cherries is such a great addition to the neighborhood as a weeknight happy hour spot - and I'm sure we'll be back again soon!

Cherries is just what the neighborhood needed! It has great cocktails, plants, a cherry red aesthetic, plenty of seating, and fire pits! I've been twice already and each time enjoyed my visit. The lot has plenty of parking, for the drivers out there. Both visits were midweek and we didn't have a problem finding a seat at the bar or on the couches. This is a perfect neighborhood establishment. It's also a wonderful stop after eating dinner in Cleveland Park. Don't know what to do after Redheaded Stranger, Xiao Bao, or Audrey? Head over to Cherries! I can't speak to the food as I've only had the guacamole, but the guac sure did hit when I needed it to. I'm looking forward to heading back and trying their food menu as well. If the decor and drinks are any indication, it should be tasty!

It's a lounge buried in what seems to be a newly re-developing Dickerson PIke area. It doesn't seem like much from the outside but it's a cute place to have drinks and a small bite. Their drinks can get pricey but come for their Happy Hour from 4-6PM. Also I know they have DJ nights starting Thursdays, it's great to be getting more lounge/house/downtempo type DJs playing in town. Not everything is country!! Service is friendly but getting drinks always seem to take a while even though it's not crowded. Been a few times and will be in more especially when they weather cools down. Fun patio times.

Great local spot on the Eastside. Free parking available, actual parking lot. Late night menu available, great cocktails, efficient staff. Environment doesn't allow too much conversation inside, but fun upbeat music of assorted varieties. Outside has seating/fire pits. Great vibes for hangs with friends or date night.

We tried brunch yesterday and it did not disappoint. Music was at the perfect level. Service was attentive. We enjoyed bottomless mimosas. Company loved the waffle. Bacon could've been done a little more. The sandwich I has was awesome! Perfectly poached eggs. And loved that I could get a salad vs potato's. And the salad was delicious. We will be back!!

Great atmosphere and service! A hidden gem. Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed during my visit. However they had a food truck on site serving Mexican food that was delicious. I plan to go back and check out their kitchen menu.

This was a cute place! I went here for a date and it was a great environment. The waitress was extremely attentive and nice. The drinks were delicious and tasted very fancy, the only complaint I kind of had was that the music was so loud I could barely hear my friend as we were talking.

I was so excited to try the new trendy bar- cherries. I really liked the inside decor. It was a bit cold out when I went so the patio wasn't open, but I have a feeling this will be a hit in the summer time. We sat in the second room towards the outside. It was very confusing- there was no host, no sign that said to seat yourself or to wait to be seated. After waiting we ended up just seating ourselves. When we tried to flag down the waitress to let her know that we had just sat down we noticed she was the only waitress for the entire place. We had gone here with a friend who was revisiting after moving away from Nashville. If you are wanting to talk this is not the place. The music is so loud we were screaming, not only that the entire establishment was screaming because nobody could hear eachother. We went on a thursday around 7:30 pm, maybe had we gone on a friday at 10pm it would have been more acceptable. The burger was alright, it was pretty dry but I was hungry after a 12 hour shift and it did the trick. Im really bummed about how cherries turned out. I wanted to like it, but it just wasnt it. Maybe in the summer the patio will be better?

Cherries, nestled in East Nashville on Dickerson Pike, offers a promising concept with some areas that could use refinement. Cherries is the latest opening for Amaranth Hospitality, which also operates 5 other spots throughout Nashville. Unassuming from the outside, but inside is a vibey cocktail lounge filled with plants, red lighting and industrial fixtures. They have a small dining room outfitted with a bar, a communal dining room and then an impressive outdoor patio. Service was ok, but a tad delayed. She did mention they have a small kitchen and limited bar staff, so we did appreciate her setting the tone and expectations up front. Their menu is outfitted with several cherry-themed items, particularly in the cocktail selection, adding a unique touch and call out to the name/theme. Our first experience here was for weekend brunch, and the menu was decent with a few sandwiches, breakfast plate, classic breakfast sides, cocktails, coffee and of course bottomless mimosas. Only catch with the bottomless mimosa was you had to enjoy all you could within 90 minutes. After scoping the menu for a few minutes, the "OMG Becky" breakfast sandwich caught majority of our tables eye. Classic breakfast sandwich on sourdough, featuring egg, cheese, and bacon, with the option to add avocado if desired. The sandwich itself was good, however the sourdough bread, which I am a huge fan of normally, was a good vessel for the food, but it was well done, which created a bit of a fight for a few bites. The potatoes were under-seasoned and a tad mushy. The char was nice, but the texture was a bit off-putting. My table mates had similar feedback relating to the bread and seasoning What is brunch without a cocktail? While none of us ventured into bottomless mimosa territory, three of us went with a Bloody Mary, 2 regular and 1 spicy, however they all came out spicy. We decided to push through, as wait time for cocktails was increasing, so we just sipped our bloody then followed it up with water. Cherries is a cool add to the neighborhood. Still some work to do on the food execution, but it is still new and we are hopeful those are growing pains. The space is great, parking lot is plentiful and the vibe is classic East Nashville. Overall, a solid 3.5 rounded up to 4.

Our friend group frequents Cherries, especially for special occasions, and this time we had a surprise engagement party with 30 people. I'm sure that any other bar would have been a lot less accommodating! The GM was super responsive via email and the bartenders (Kyle and Morgan) were so lovely and helpful!! Martini Monday drinks were cheap and delish. We couldn't have asked for a better venue!! Love Cherries!!

Discovered this cute, hidden gem over the weekend. I instantly loved the decor and vibe of the place. We had a great night enjoying 2 drinks each. We would love to make this our new watering hole since it is around the corner from home, but grabbing 4 drinks and spending $100 won't be feasible to do very often so it will be a nice treat every now and then. The bartender was very sweet and we had great service. Oh yeah! Warning: If you want a big rock in your whiskey, they will charge you $6, just for the ice! (It might be $3 a drink but either way, that is a lot to throw on to an already $14 drink.)

I wish I could recommend Cherries, but the wicked sorcery they're applying to our receipts tonight are pretty disappointing. Great patio, but I don't think I will be returning. 2 frozen margaritas, 2 totally different prices.

The ambiance was excellent. However, the food was awful. The food is the only complaint. The wings were flavorless. Not sure why they serve chipotle aioli with wings? The burger had way too much pink. They have to make their food better.

Such a great vibe! My experience was during brunch and it did not disappoint. The food came out fast and hot. Our server was super personable and attentive. The outdoor area has a bar area and a deejay on the weekends. I'd love to go back in the evening to experience the nightlife. I'll definitely be going back regardless!

Super cute, good affordable prices and REALLY delicious food!! The menu is small but the food is SOOO good. I went with my two really picky friends and they both said it was the best burger they ever had. Drinks were 10/10 as well!!

I've only been to cherries once, but plan on going back often. Travis is the new manager there & was our bartender while a few friends and I celebrated a birthday. He was friendly (as is all of the staff we interacted with) and extremely knowledgeable behind the bar. Their mocktails are a step up from the average sans-alcohol drink. The chips and guac were hard to share because I wanted them all to myself. Their happy hour might be my favorite in East. The patio looks so cute & if it wasn't a thousand degrees, I'd spend a lot of time out there. Well done Cherries!!

Hopefully goin to be the best since it's out east.east Nashville service is always good.andnatleast u can see the titans stadium. The food is goin to be good I bet it is. And also I will refer more people to come eat here. I can walk to this address. That is a great this in the community. So I know that the setting is goin to be nice..

OMG, the service was NOT good. Had to go find our waitress 2x. Once just to place our order, then never came back to order a second round...then had to go find our waitress to get our bill.

This place is great for some drinks before you head out for your night! It is super lively and a great GREAT vibe. It's in a super convenient location and the drinks were spectacular. The apps and food exceeded my expectations! It was divine... the music is very loud just FYI!

The ambiance of this place is great!! The red lighting and music really hit the vibe. In the summer I imagine their outdoor space is incredible. If you are looking for a fun vibe please come to cherries. I think this is the bar that Nashville has been looking for. The Perfect Lemon G&T was delicious and I could have several of those. Don't judge a book by its cover. Driving by this bar, I wouldn't think twice about it. After coming in though, I was delighted. A very nice bar with a large outdoor patio area and some great drinks. One of the better Old Fashioned's I have had. I could definitely get used to this place. Good vibes all around.

Cute place and maybe we caught the staff on a bad day, bc I'm not exaggerating, every single bartender/server, except for one girl, was rude! That one girl was awesome and lightened up our groups mood after having off experiences with the other staff.

The vibe was unbelievable!! Great place for friends to gather and catch up! Great place for date night! The small meals/appetizers were on point! This is not a place for a full meal. The alcoholic beverages were superb!!

I came here with friends and it was all our first time. We all work in customer service and we were a little disappointed. I saw the bar a couple times on social media and had higher hopes. We went on a Saturday at 10pm and there weren't a lot of people. We went to the outside bar first and waited a few minutes but the bartender ignored us for quite awhile even though there were only about 3-4 other people at bar and some already had drinks. After a while we moved inside to the other bar. Everyone we spoke to who worked there seemed to kinda have an attitude and didn't look happy working :/ Our drinks were fine but nothing special and we didn't order any food. The music playlist was the best part but it was loud considering the amount of people there were. I probably wouldn't come back anytime soon considering they're new and my experience but hopefully this place gets busier and is better in the summer!

Such a cool atmosphere at Cherries!! Love the ambiance of the place. I loved my thyme cocktail but unfortunately it took 30 min to even get a drink with a server. Service was slow and insufficient. Food was decent, I would mainly go for the cocktails once service gets worked out!
