"For its latest pop-up gig, an up-and-coming name in the ramen world wants eaters to imagine they’re swimming in a giant ramen bowl in Shaw. Drink Company’s annual tribute to the pink flowers that bloom once a year features a back room starring soup, slinging vegan miso broth and noodles from Hiro Mitsui (who runs a stall in Union Market). Ramen-themed decor includes foam noodles wiggling out of the walls and 8-foot chopsticks hanging from the ceiling, joined by blown-up mock toppings like pork belly and fish cakes and a Top Ramen mural by artist Andrew Funk." - Tierney Plumb

Beautiful unique bar, but crowded and has some delicious original pricey drinks! I personally have never been to a seasonal bar like this before, but I do recommend it. It is open in the evenings. There was a line we waited in for about twenty minutes. The decor inside was amazing! Unfortunately very crowded. Very little places to sit. I also decided not to fight my way in to see the other half that had Godzilla in it. The drinks were also pretty pricey! For 2 cocktails it was $31. There were 3 bars of which I could see... We had the calpico fizz, which was indeed delicious and unique. The amount of booze in it was questionable. But I feel you go there for the experience and uniqueness. My friend unfortunately it very limited in what he drinks and asked for Captain and coke, of which they didn't have captain. Which is understandable for the type of bar it is. I think it is worth going to experience, but definitely would not be a place I would want to frequent.

I'm a huge fan of seasonal PUBs and this one was as beautiful as you'd expect it to be. Drinks with Japanese flavors made this experience all the more enjoyable. We got there around 4:45 on a Friday evening and had to wait until 5:10pm to get in; so not bad I'd say. (Waited for ~3hrs during game of thrones PUB)

Packed. Hopping. A great crowd of local DC trying a festive experience. Every season the bar changes out its theme, the decorations were fun. The drink menu specific to that festivity. We had trouble getting through the bar but once in it was easy enough to find a spot to sit. Bartenders were friendly and helpful. Drinks were well made.

Came here on a rainy Thursday evening and there was no wait, but still pretty full. Great decor and fun space to be. Was mostly excited for the Uzu ramen and headed straight to the room which was magnificently noodle themed. The sake is so darn pricey ($6 for a small sake cup).

If you dont mind the line its a good bar. More of a tourist bar than anything. I came when it was mario, game of thrones, and royal wedding themed. Good drinks, but not too many food items available.

I will say about this bar that they are brave to have those creative ingredients for cocktails. They place just give you a new ambiance impecably.

Get your insta pics and try a cocktail. The place is really pretty but the cocktails aren’t good and overpriced.
