"Cherry Street has a lot going for it. It’s located in the heart of Pioneer Square, they serve tasty espresso, and there’s an attractive wooden bar where you can drink both wine and beer. And, unlike the random array of cookies you’ll see at other coffee shops in town, Cherry Street serves Middle Eastern food like falafel wraps and Persian stew. You’ll still find a display case of cookies, though. They’re very good." - Aimee Rizzo

"Cherry Street Public House specializes in Middle Eastern dishes, so expect to eat things like falafel, gyros, and Persian chicken stew—in addition to avocado toast—with your coffee. They stock the good barista brand of almond milk (plus beer and wine, if that’s more your speed), and the pastries are tasty, too." - Aimee Rizzo

A new day, a new find, we ended up in Cherry Street Public bear Occidental Square on a fine afternoon, thanks to our colleague who suggested it. The place had a greatly influenced Persian Menu, which interested us Indians, because that’s something that came closer se to Indian a Food. Not that I was craving for Indian food, in my third week at Seattle, but a little basmati rice with Tomato dal, would any day be welcome. I opted for a Persian Chicken with Gourmej Sabzi gravy (which translates to gourmet vegetables gravy) which also had tomato mash in Saffron Sauce, with some lentils on a bed of fragrant long grain basmati rice. The whole bowl was complimented with pickled carrots + cauliflower, with some dil infused yogurt, & some warm pita slices on the side. The whole bowl looked as appetising as it tasted, loved every morsel in the bowl. The warm pita went beautifully with the dil yogurt, as well as with the tomato mash. The burst of flavours were very Indian, as much as it was Persian, the chicken was nicely flavoured, though I wasn’t very sure of the freshness. This place comes highly recommended for this fusion bowl, & the portions were slightly more than one can handle but highly hearty & comforting.

Very cute little spot, nice decor and ambience, and the staff are very friendly. Mixed review however because the coffee was terrible, not to mention a little overpriced. I don't know if I'm just not a fan of whatever brand coffee they use, but my cappuccino was horribly bitter with a burnt aftertaste. Looked pretty though.

This is a sunny, open spot to spend one’s afternoon. The baristas are nice and funny. The Persian Rice bowls are quite yummy. It’s a great spot for people watching out the window, too.

Only had beer and a bread and oil appetizer. The beer selection was quality, but limited. The bread and oil was spot on. Really nice outdoor seating in Pioneer Square. Does not have a full bar.

The service is on point and the lox bagel was very deliciously unique. The environment is perfect for getting work done or enjoying a coffee.

The avocado toast is tasty, but $2 upcharge for a soft-boiled egg. Additionally, this is the only place I've run into where the barista got stingy with adding a bit of almond milk to an americano - they left room for cream, then offered a few drops of almond milk before demanding an upcharge for any more - $17.28 for breakfast & they want to nickel & dime for a splash of almond milk in my americano? no thanks..

One of my favorite breakfasts in Pioneer Square, Persian eggs and chai. The chai is so good this is one of the few places I skip my morning espresso.

Excellent lunch and the coffee was fairly good as well The lamb and beef stew was amazing and the nitro cold brew was fairly good, but lacking in a robust coffee flavor.
