The 26 Best Restaurants At Disney World 2024

"Our favorite thing to do on an early morning in the Magic Kingdom is to walk around Fantasyland eating a warm Cheshire Cat Tail, which is basically a chocolate brioche twist with pink and purple frosting drizzled on top. These aren’t always available (sometimes they’re a Cheshire Cat Paw, and sometimes you can’t get them at all), but when they are, they’re hard to beat." - carina finn koeppicus, anne cruz

Google
I tried the Cheshire Cat Tail for the first time, and it was one of my favorite snacks! Puff pastry filled with chocolate - so good! I also ordered a Joffrey's Cold Brew. I added the caramel syrup, but it just tasted like straight black coffee. No amount of creamer and sweet n low helped. I ended up throwing it away. There is a very small amount of tables for seating as well!

Google
They are a fun location next to the tea cups. I wish to try their known, filled croissant which is slightly decorated and named a Cheshire Cat Tail. 🐈‍⬛ 🥐 🍽️

Google
Avoid. Coffees are smaller and more expensive than other places in the park, currently at $4.50. they didn't even fill up the cup. And they had no milk, only tiny creamers, dumped in a grave. The other joffrey coffee spots do real milk for you and give bigger cups for $1 less. Try tomorrowland

Google
I LOVE this place! I always have to get a Cheshire Cat Tail(I’ve eaten too many of these) when going to Magic Kingdom. The Merry Unbirthday Cupcake was delicious as well!

Google
This restaurant is just a small walk up snack stop. They have a small variety of drinks and snacks available here. One of their signature items is the Cheshire Cat Tail (pictured). The tail itself is a pretty good treat with a mix of chocolate and sweet icing. It's worth trying if you've never had one, but I don't feel like it's something I would need to have every time I come to Magic Kingdom.

Google
Poor service, when I walk over as 2 staff is chatting as if I was not there, and when I asked for ice coffee, person filled the whole cup with 90% ice, I told I want light ice, dumped little bit and I said I want less than half ice, she said it is hot it will not be cold I said It is ok, person looked me in in the eyes as if I took a lot coffee. Come one I want to buy ice coffee not ice. If you can’t be at least kind of customer friendly, find job that suit your personality.

Google
Got over early and thought I was going to get a tail but they were unavailable. I guess the next best thing is the Cheshire Cat paw. It was pretty delish out with chocolate in the center. Was looking forward to some other items I’ve seen on other reviews and Disney sites but maybe they’re seasonal. So maybe next time.

Google
Quick service and friendly staff. Accepts annual passholder discount. The Mad Hatter Unbirthday Tea is delicious, a mix of sour apple and peach if I'm not mistaken with whipping cream on top. My daughter loved it too. Not excessively expensive. The location is right by the Tea Cups.

Yelp
The perfect pick-me-up when exploring Fantasyland! The famous Cheshire Cat Tail did not disappoint (freshly baked chocolate danish with pink/purple icing on top) and was absolutely delicious when paired with a cold brew. It's the perfect treat to share with your party and my girls oohed and aahed over the pretty colors. We even saw the Mad Hatter and Alice walking around which made the experience extra special.
google avatar

Olivia W.

Yelp
Loved my coffee from here and it was responsibly priced for a Disney park food attraction!
google avatar

Bunyaka N.

Yelp
For me, Magic Kingdom doesn't have the best food and snacks compared to other parks, but I do love this place. My favorite is the Cheshire Cat Tail. It's basically a chocolate danish in the form of the strip with Cheshire Cat icing. It's served warm, but very rich so sharing with someone would be the best.
google avatar

Marni M.

Yelp
We ordered their Pretzel and whoopie pie. The pretzel had a cheese filling throughout but I found the filling to not be cheesy enough. Whoopie pie was sweet, light and moist. But it was too sweet for me. Not too impressed with the items from this stall.
google avatar

Becky F.

Yelp
We stopped in for an iced coffee and a sweet treat. The staff are so sweet and patient (my toddlers really struggled to pick their dessert). The iced coffee was good and the croissant and cupcake were wonderful. I love the theme and the matching goodies. Everything was very cute.
google avatar

Minnie L.

Yelp
The signature Cheshire Cat Tail pastry is the star of this establishment. The colorful pink and purple icing on top decorates the longish flaky warm not too sweet chocolate filling. It's not very filling but can be shared. Service was quick and efficient. No ambiance as this is not a restaurant.
google avatar

Wina G.

Yelp
Walking around in Fantasyland at the MK. It was a freaking hot and humid day so we were dying for something cold. I had read somewhere about this Queen of Hearts slushy ($5.99) so I popped in line to get one. This place must be good because there were a number of people waiting in line and coming away with the same thing. I daresay, it was a very pretty drink! And tasted good too! It's a frozen cheery slushy with blackberry puree topped with a white chocolate crown. It was very refreshing and I liked that crown. The only thing, I had to work on the whipped cream topping fast because with the heat, it was melting by the second. Mixed in with the rest of slushy, the whipped cream made it taste like a cherry creamsicle. I'd get it again!!
google avatar

Benny H.

Yelp
Pretty good junk food! Well at least the pastry. The slushy isn't the greatest as it's a bit dense, hollow if that makes any sense. Still a solid spot for a snack.
google avatar

Jason A.

Yelp
Cheshire Cat Café is super reliable at being awesome. Lines move relatively quickly, the cat tails remain one of my favorite pastries in WDW, and I love that they serve cold brew coffee. The pastry is super fresh every time we go and it's something everyone in my four-member family loves (which it can be hard finding breakfast snacks that everyone loves!)
google avatar

Tharin W.

Yelp
The BEST hidden dessert at Magic Kingdom. Many people pass this cafe by, not realizing it holds the soft, warm and sweet Cheshire Cat Tail -- two croissant style pastries rolled together, held in place by melted chocolate and topped with pink and purple icing, an easy 10/10
google avatar

Marie B.

Yelp
Is it really extra of me to review the restaurants in Walt Disney World? Maybe! But I used to work there and have spent enough time and money on the food to have solid opinions. One of those is that the cheshire cat tail is the most underrated snack at WDW. It is exactly what you need after getting to the park at rope drop and knocking out all of Tomorrowland. I also tried the All Mixed Up Slush this time and it was good! A nice berry flavor but wasn't anything super special and I wouldn't get it again. But seriously you need to try the cat tail and make sure to check the hours for the day you're there because they aren't open all day and they do run out of the tails sometimes.
google avatar

Lindsay M.

Yelp
My many times at Disney and I never tried it till now the Pastry tail was pretty good. Gooey and soft and crispy with some frosting on it I think it also had butter.
google avatar

Kelly P.

Yelp
We grabbed a quick drink while walking around Magic Kingdom at this cafe. Really enjoyed this sweet treat!
google avatar

Victoria S.

Yelp
The seating is only outdoor as this is a quick service snack spot. It's right next to the tea cup ride. Everyone online was raving about the cat tail but it was fairly bland & kind of like a bad snack cake. Hardly any filling. It'll be a skip for me on my next trip. There are more yummy things to try at the park than this.
google avatar

Steven W.

Yelp
We wanted to try something we saw on instagram but soon realized it was probably just that, a good photo. The chocolate croissant was not great. It did not taste fresh and was kind of hard to bite into. Not filling at all and the service was sub-par. The strawberry drink on the other hand was delicious and very refreshing for a hot day in Orlando.
google avatar

Tory P.

Yelp
I saw a photo of the Cat Tail posted online somewhere. Being the bakery lover that I am, I knew I had to try it out on my next visit. We happened to be over by the Teacups, needing to kill some time and I saw the Cafe! There was NOBODY in line. It was around 2pm on a weekend. Sweet! I went up to the window and ordered a Cat Tail and Iced Coffee. The workers immediately handed me the coffee but seemed to get distracted and forgot about my Cat Tail. I reminded them and they quickly gave it to me! The iced coffee was black and had a good ratio of ice-coffee in the cup. They had cream and sugar over to the side of the window available for those who like that option. The Cat Tail tasted fresh and just as I expected! It was also very sweet. It was the perfect sugary snack for an afternoon pick me up. Will I get it again? Probably not.
google avatar

Liz S.

Yelp
I don't get the hype for the tail pastry they serve here. It was a generic chocolate pastry to me, which at the time was during the Halloween season so it was branded as the Binx tail (usually Cheshire). I'd move on to better Disney snacks.
google avatar

Adam H.

Yelp
Stopped by here during our trip to Magic Kingdom as it was on my wife's must try list. We got a Cat Tail to split. The flavor was good, but nothing extraordinary. Service was good and it is considered a snack credit on the dining plan. Not bad for a quick snack, but with the various options at the park this falls on the may visit again may not list.
google avatar

Taylor M.

Yelp
Cheshire Cafe is always one of the first spots I want to visit when I go to Magic Kingdom. The Cheshire Cat tail is the best pastry, and their Jeffrey's cold brew is good too!
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
I love they have the best chose for a quick breakfast or just a snack. You won't believe your tastebuds. They will love it
google avatar

Corella D.

Yelp
First time trying the cattail dessert. Very delicious! Tastes like a croissant filled with chocolate chips and drizzled with icing. Loved the looks of the cafe too. Very cute next to the teacups ride.
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
Sweet treats, usually no wait. We tried the cheshire cat tail. It's basically a chocolate torsade with icing on top. The Disney version is too sweet for me. I think it would have been better without the colorful icing but then that takes away the fun of it being a cat tail. Not my favorite Disney snack (it's still the Disneyland churro) but it's another snack to check off of the snack list.
google avatar

Hydration S.

Yelp
The Cheshire Cat Tails are delicious! It is a chocolate chip croissant with colorful icing on top. Service was quick, and it is a great and cute treat. I would definitely recommend trying it
google avatar

Aly W.

Yelp
The cat tail was as long as expected, but not as wide. Still, it's a good value in terms of price and portion. And it's not as obnoxiously sweet as it looks. Super messy, though. Get lots of napkins. The frozen lemonade had a weird consistency. The "lemonade" separated from the ice, and it tasted more like sugar than lemons, but when one of my sons dropped and broke his, they replaced it, no problem (as you would expect from Disney, but still worth noting.)
google avatar

Anthony M.

Yelp
They only have a handful of items, but every single thing I have had here has been fantastic. They have frozen iced tea and the Cheshire Cat tail. I would argue that this is Fantasyland's sweet treat place like Adventureland's Aloha Isle. Very good and quick!
google avatar

Gerry L.

Yelp
The food scene at Disney World has been improving tremendously over the last couple of year and they have been coming up with unique and delicious meal and snack options. On our last visit we heard of a new pastry called the CAT'S Tail found exclusively at the Chestire Cafe. The pastry was severed warm filled with melted chocolate topped with purple and pink frosting to resemble the Chestire Cat from the film Alice in Wonderland. A must try for any sweet tooth that needs something sweet during their visit.

Emily R.

Yelp
Terrible! Today I ordered 2 Cold Witches' Brew Coffees and 2 Binx Pastry "Paws" since they were out of tails. This snack was really underwhelming, and partly disgusting. The coffee itself tasted really disgusting. I even tried mixing all of the ingredients together for a more balanced taste and it was still completely awful. The pastry just tasted like a smashed, old chocolate croissant from Starbucks. I know Disney World is a theme park, but I expected a lot better quality from their dining options.

Rachael B.

Yelp
The Cat tail never fails to impress. The seasonal pumpkin cold brew was not great at all. Definitely save your money for another snack and skip the cold brew.
google avatar

Cynthia V.

Yelp
I hesitate to write this review because I don't want the secret to get out and the lines to get long! The Cheshire Cafe offers a limited menu and is tucked away behind the Winnie the Pooh ride near the Teacups. Pick up a Cheshire Cat Tail (a chocolate-filled croissant with pink and purple icing drizzle) plus a coffee for a sweet way to kick off your day in the Magic Kingdom!
google avatar

Gabbi H.

Yelp
Obsessed with this little snack stop. They don't have much but what they do have I think is great. The cat tail is soo good! It is really chocolatey and especially good if you stop here in the a.m. for breakfast. The cold are coffee is also really good.
google avatar

Jessica V.

Yelp
This snack hut in Magic Kingdom is the home of the delicious Cheshire Cat tail pastry. The Cat tail is a flaky chocolate filled pastry topped with blue and purple icing to make it look the the tail of the Cheshire Cat from the classic Disney movie Alice in Wonderland. For only a snack credit on the Disney dining plan, this is a delicious treat. Although not the healthiest option, the Cat tail makes for a yummy breakfast before a day full of walking in the park. You will not find much variety at this cart, however the Cat tail is a must try!
google avatar

Gabriel S.

Yelp
I stopped here only for the Cheshire Cat Tails. They are pretty good! Fresh out of the oven they are soft and moist. Chocolate chips inside make it gooey to eat. The purple dyed vanilla icing adds to the flavor. I do recommend these. PLEASE NOTE: The cake cups are no longer being sold here as of June 2017.
google avatar

Tiffany S.

Yelp
The Cheshire tails are good. Don't get me wrong. But they are a little bit like slightly stain croissants with chocolate chips and very sweet glaze. I was expecting more based on the fan fare.
google avatar

Ryan H.

Yelp
Cool little spot in Magic Kingdom. I stopped here to grab the Cheshire Cat Tail, a chocolate croissant twist with Cheshire Cat Colored Icing (Purple and Pink). It was nice a chocolaty and sweet. I definitely recommend trying one on your next trip to the Magic Kingdom
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
Love it!!!! Cat tail is a must have. A chocolate stuffed warm and gooey croissant with frosting. Usually no lines and quick and easy to order. Great walking food. I love it.
google avatar

Sydney F.

Yelp
The Cheshire Cat tail is AMAZING! It's a chocolate croissant with icing on it. Super warm and melts in your mouth. One of the best Disney foods to get and a great hidden treat!
google avatar

Chris W.

Yelp
THEY HAVE CAKE CUPS! That should be the end of the review right there. Go buy a cake cup. Revel in it. Thank me later. I see cupcakes everywhere but I've never seen a cake cup before. Why is this? Like chocolate and peanut butter, cake and cups are a glorious dessert combination. The cup lets your dessert have multiple layers of both cake and icing. Plus it's portable. Try that with a cupcake! I had read about these on The Disney Food Blog and was really excited to try them. I was confused when we got to The Cheshire Cafe because they weren't listed on the menu. I was disappointed for a minute because I assumed that they had already been discontinued, but when I glanced the small sign about them off to the side of the counter I knew that it was time to get my cake on! The Queen of Hearts strawberry shortcake cup comes with a red rose, tiny red hearts, and an edible Queen of Hearts playing card. I don't like strawberries so I only took a little nibble, but it was quite good. I selected the "white chocolate rabbit" cake cup, complete with white chocolate rabbit ears and an edible candy flower. I loved it! The cake and frosting were both delicious. I hate it when cupcakes come with seven pounds of icing. With these cake cups the amount of frosting was spread out perfectly between the layers of cake. I hope that these become a permanent part of the Cheshire Cafe. I'll definitely be back for another!
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
I had previously searched up a couple different good looking snacks around the park to have in mind for when we got hungry. Well we weren't far from this location when we were craving coffee. (This was the first of many coffee trips celebrating my graduation after a week of all-nighters from finals). So we ordered 2 cold brews because it was like 90 degrees and I personally prefer iced coffee too and a cat tail. The cat tail was delicious! So many chocolate chips without it being overwhelming and like others mentioned the icing didn't make it too sweet which I was hesitant about. The coffee on the other hand wasn't the best. It was definitely a strong cold brew my boyfriend enjoyed it plain but I need to add 1 cream and 1 sugar before I could. The portion of the coffee was at least generous though so splitting the cat tail and getting our own coffee actually held us off for a couple more hours before we got hungry again.
google avatar

Sierra G.

Yelp
Let's be real, the only reason to come here is for the Cheshire Cat Tail pastry they offer. I'm a huge Alice in Wonderland fan, so I immediately planned on trying it out. For $5, you can have a pleasantly sweet pastry with a whimsical design and I do think it's worth it if you're into that kind of treat. There isn't really much else of worth offered here, but it's a cute little spot on the edge of Fantasyland.

Geoff F.

Yelp
Cat tail...must have. Especially for cat loving kiddos. Quick, easy, delicious and a great park break
google avatar

Jay N.

Yelp
This is a counter service place at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort. It is located in Tomorrowland right by the Mad Hatters Tea Party. It has a wide selection of coffee and tea drinks. It also has frozen Yogurt. The line is usually long, but it is a nice spot to grab an iced coffee and sit in the shade of the covered outdoor patio. There is no indoor seating. It is a kiosk style window service.
google avatar

Holly N.

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of more frosting than cake and Cheshire's cake cups certainly deliver that. They've only offered two flavors the last few times I've been - strawberry and mocha, so I've only had Mocha, but it's incredibly sweet and satisfying as a mid morning snack if you've been in Magic Kingdom since before rope drop!
google avatar

Christopher C.

Yelp
I think we hit this place because we were running late heading off to the MK one morning and figured we would work out something to eat once we got there. Enter Cheshire Cat. Everything on their small menu except for cereal and milk qualifies for a snack under the DDP so if you have any extra snack credits which you need to use this isn't a bad place to make that happen. Some muffins, iced coffee and a Raspberry Lemonade Slush (at 10am? why not) and we were good to go. They have a small seating area to the left of where you order and although I saw this place get very busy later in the day, during the first hour it's a really nice spot for something quick and portable.
google avatar

Patricia R.

Yelp
I want to go to this place!!! I love this type of food. Frosting is my favorite thing. The cups look awesome.
google avatar

Shamie D.

Yelp
Ok Disney, you can do better coffee options than this watered-down brown water... I would pay double for a espresso drink or a few bucks more for some real coffee...
google avatar

Ron P.

Yelp
You get one star for not serving cake cups anymore. And for leading me on a wild goose chase to find them- when all along they were discontinued. Information sharing Disney! Get it together.
google avatar

Clarissa M.

Yelp
They have great drinks. Usually the line isn't super long. There's no seating. But a great place to grab a snack and keep going
google avatar

Frede G.

Yelp
The Iced Coffee (both flavours) are wayyyyyy too sweet. Like for this price (5$ each and that´s not a big cup), better go to Starbucks..!
google avatar

Laurel M.

Yelp
Get a Cheshire cupcake. Layered cake and frosting makes every bite delicious! Don't miss it because it's small, just a kiosk past the teacups. Lots of other breakfast snack foods. Quick walk-up service. Mmmm :)
