Chez Coco

What an amazing place to grab food and people watch. It’s my first time in SXM and was craving some oxtail. The oxtail was stewed perfect packed full of flavor and the texture is out of this world. The rice and salad complemented the robust flavor profile of the oxtail. In addition, the rice and potato salad also were delicious on its own. I will definitely be back! A+ to the chef, and the friendly service!

Having been a patron of Chez Coco for years during our visits to St. Martin, and now as recent residents of this beautiful island, our family connection with this restaurant has only deepened. It's not just a dining spot for us; it's a part of our family tradition, especially now as we are expecting our second child. The consistency of Chez Coco's culinary delights is something we have always admired. The food here never fails to impress. Each dish is a testament to the meticulous care and passion that goes into its preparation. Our 3-year-old son, who can be quite picky, always looks forward to our visits here, which speaks volumes about the quality and appeal of their cuisine. But what truly sets Chez Coco apart is the incredible service and the warm atmosphere. The staff here consistently goes above and beyond to make every visit memorable. Their attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and prompt service contribute immensely to the overall experience. And then, there's Coco himself - the heart and soul of the restaurant. His presence adds a personal touch that is rare in today's dining scene. He has a unique way of making everyone feel at home, creating an ambiance that's both welcoming and authentic. It's a place where you're not just a customer but a part of the Chez Coco family. Chez Coco is, without a doubt, the best restaurant on the entire island. The combination of delicious food, exceptional service, and a homely atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone in St. Martin. We're not just looking forward to being regulars; we're excited about creating more family memories here. Chez Coco deserves every accolade and more. Amazing food! So delicious! Be sure to try the ox tail special with the rice

So I might be a little bias on this one, because my cousin is the owner and chef! He cooks the best tuna steak and mahi mahi, hands down! Everything he cooks, is delicious!

Excellent food, fast service and a great location - visiting via #WindstarCruises dinner here was the perfect choice. I hope to come back one day .

Firstly: the food was delicious. Why, you may ask, would I then rate the business so low? My family arrived at this restaurant shortly after opening time. As we’re a large group, we asked the staff if the food was ready. We were asked what we would want, and assured that it would be ready within about ten minutes. ONE AND A HALF HOURS LATER, my sister went to the counter to ask what was going on and was told “we’re going to start working on it now”. While the food was excellent (truly delicious curry goat, fall-off-the-bone oxtail) there is NO excuse for having a table wait 90+ minutes for their food, without any communication. More upsetting than that is that in that time period multiple other people arrived at the restaurant and picked up to-go plates. To round everything else out: my sister and my niece were unable to enjoy their food as they both suffer from GERD and the extended wait time led to upset stomachs. Overall, not a good experience. Would not return despite the very good food If you decide to try it out anyway: try the oxtail, curry goat, and mango coladas.
